Ovi 3.1.1.78 Changes Outlook Entries

I have an E-7 with a strange Ovi sync problem... recently updated to Ovi 3.1.1.78... Now when I sync my Outlook 2010 calendar entries, it changes my anniversary entries by one day earlier... No matter how many times I change them back in Outlook, Ovi sync will change them back to a day earlier... HELP!!!

To be able to use SM30 to modify any data in a database table you need to have a maintenance dialog generated for that table.
If you have one generated depending on the type of the dialog (maintenance allowed with restrictions) you will still not be able to modify the data.
If you need to change data through SM30 you should either create (or change to maintenance allowed without restrictions) and regenerate the table maintenance dialog. Make sure that the existing dialog doesn't have any customization to it because that will all be lost after regeneration.
The other option to change the data is would be through SE16 and debugger or through a program.

Send a Change Document entry when an equipment change its status (IE02)

Hello experts,
In the transaction IE02 (Change Equipment), when a user changes the equipment status, for instance, from Active (ACTV) -> Inactive (INAC) when the SAVE button is pressed I need to post a Change Document entry (CDHDR and CDPOS).
I've already identified the user exit EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_002 which is triggered when the SAVE button is pressed in IE02 transaction. I cannot read the new status value.
At that moment I can read the old status (which has been change until the user exit finalized) but I don't find a way to check if that old_value <> new_value.
Does anybody knows a way to achieve this?

Stauts changes are tracked in the table JCDS and not in CDHDR and CDPOS.
You will have to check the box for Change documents in the configuration for equipment status ( this is done on equipment type's status profile ). The status change tracking will not happen until it has been set there.

Is it possible to have authorizations so that specific users can change table entries through se16 in production even though the system is locked for changes?

You will need to create the Maintenance view for the table you want to maintain and then make a authorization group using se54 for this maintenace view. This authorization group needs to be defined in the role of the persons to whom you want to give acess. Now only these persons can maintain this table entries.

Options -> Calendar -> Display options
-> Select the Default calendar color and the checkbox for

In case the Navigation Pane is corrupted, we may try starting Outlook with the switch "/resetnavpane":
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /resetnavpane” in the blank box, then press Enter.

Hallo,
You have to create two events for sm30.
05 FETCH_VALUE_NEW
21 FETCH_VALUE_CHANGE
The first event-05 triggers when you create new entry where you can update created by/created date etc.,
and in the second event-21 you can update Changed by/Changed date.

Get ride of the ovi-suite and get the supported PC suite 7.1.40.6
And everything is working fine, updating, synchronizing outlook calender and contact.
Now I can finally use my E7-00!
Beware: do not update the pc suite, the latest version does not support the E7!

I know of the FM ENTRYSHEET_WRITE_DOCUMENT which allows me to
create entries in CDHDR programitically but I am not sure this will help me change the entries.

I've never found technology to make life easier. It mainly offers the promise (often unfulfilled) of making it cheaper or quicker. This didn't happen when the Girl Guides put a form in an envelope and posted it. But they probably laid off the person whose job that was with the promise of everything being easy on the internet.
PDF has, curiously, become a victim of its own success. A few years ago, you could say to people "You need Adobe Reader" and it was the only serious game in town. So they got it and it works. Now everyone is making their own PDF reader for whatever reason, fewer and fewer people can be sure of having Reader. (PDF readers come at least with every Mac, every Windows 8 system, Chrome and FireFox, which covers a LOT of ground).
This is coupled with a bizarre decision Adobe made a few years ago to have two kinds of form, one of which all the other software fails with (and, as I noted, even Adobe's own software on iPad and Android fails). This was a neat idea which was designed for big corporations. Then the really big mistake: giving everyone with Acrobat the tools to make these new kinds of form, and making it seem they were preferre or the only game in town. This is finished now (Acrobat 11 doesn't include this big boy's software) but the damage is done, oh how it is done.
Even regular forms tend to only work properly in real Adobe Reader. The fact is, if you make or distribute PDF forms you need to tell people to use Adobe Reader, and to know exactly how to help them do that. If people can't do that or their users won't be motivated to bother, then PDF forms are no longer a suitable choice. Sad but true.

I have a new out of the box WRT610N that is giving me this message when I try to forward different ports to the same internal port on separate machines.
Example1:
I want to forward external 3389 to internal 3389 on a machine 10.10.10.1
I want to also forward external 3388 to internal 3389 on another machine 10.10.10.2.
Example 2:
I want to forward 2 external ports to the same internal port on one machine.
external 3389 to internal 3389 on 10.10.10.1
external 3388 to internal 3389 on 10.10.10.1
(Some clients have 3389 blocked by ISA server. Hince fooling ISA by using a different port than RDP.)
Both examples give me a port overlap error.
This works fine with my old router that I am trying to replace.
I need a way to force the overlap. Please help.
And no I do not want.. and can't change the default port on the servers because the default ports are needed for internal server administration.

Yes, I have the same problem. I need to remote manage more computers but this bug in the firmware doesn't let me do it.
BTW, did anyone noticed that the manual says that blue light mean gigabit connection and green 100Mbps? So on your routers is exactly backwards...

Can't change database entries

There is a number of entries in my iTunes database that are reset to their first version when I click on them to play them, e.g., when I have entered "Song no.1" as the name and later decide to change that into "Song no.2", the entry will be reset to "Song no.1" when I click on the title to play it. Strangely, this happens only with some of my entries, whereas others can be changed without problems, and as far as I can tell, it concerns only the fields "Name", "Album", and "Genre".
This has been a long-standing bug in iTunes (10.5.1) I currently have , and Apple don't seem to care. Is there any fix/workaround for it?

Yes, either via the menu or via the keyboard shortcut Command-I. Then you have this window opening with a number of buttons at the top ("Summary", "Info",...). When you select "Info", you get the mask to enter information about the title, (Name, Composer, etc.), and that's what I edited. Pressing "Ok" after the changes then changes the entry, but when the title is played at some point thereafter (be it minutes or weeks later), it is reset. I have checked the xml version of the database, which is human-readable, and observe that the change is recorded there as well, and after playing the song at some point later, it is also reset to the previous value.

Google search entries change after entry, etc.

This may be hard to explain because there are so many things that happen when using the Google search engine page.
It is a recent problem, after upgrading to the most recent version (4.0). It did not happen before the upgrade.
Here goes:
* For example, I entered "singer private parties Maryland" in the search box. It changed the entry to "singer prince" which I did not enter.
* Another example: I will return to a Google search page where I previously entered some search information but now want to search for something else. I erase the previous information and then begin to enter the new information. All of a sudden part or all o f the previous information I deleted reappear along with the new information intertwined.
Or, once I enter teh new information and do a search it gives me the search results of the previous (and now unwanted) search.

Stop Magic Mouse from changing numerical entries

How do I stop my Magic Mouse from changing numerical entries in apps on my Mac Pro? When I'm using a program such as Adobe Illustrator, if I click on an entry field, say the dimensions of a rectangle, and enter the values in on my keyboard, if I happen to slightly drag my finger on the mouse when I grab it again, the numerical entries in the dialog box I was last typing in will change due to the scrolling feature of the Magic Mouse. How do I stop this from happening?

Well, I did manage to write a udev rule that assigned the mouse to event9, but for some odd reason it didn't work with evdev. The man page for evdev says that evdev only uses event*, but I don't understand why event9 doesn't work then. But the phys-thing worked. My mouse-section in xorg.conf now looks like

At a first glance this seems to work as I want. However, if I understand correctly, the phys is tied to a specific usb port? Which means that it will change if I plug the mouse into another port. But since I rarely unplug the mouse anyway, this is a much better solution than having to change xorg.conf all the time.

Difference Between OTL Retro Entry and Salary Change Retro Entry in Payroll

We are developing a custom interface from Payroll to Projects which will post all the entries from OTL.
OTL->Payroll->Projects
We are stuck with identifying the Difference Between OTL Retro Entry and Salary Change Retro Entry when we process Retropay in Payroll.
After retropay, we come we would see the retro element entries for both them with same name and creator_type is either EE or RR for both them.
In our interface we have to treat retro entries through OTL and Salary Change in differentway.
Has anyone can give some suggestions on this please asap as we are heading towards UAT very soon.

Element with creator_type RR are created/generated by Retropay.
Elements with creator_type EE are regular element entries.

Sync new and deleted Outlook entries -- but not changed entries

I'm using a basic 8700. When I sync my Outlook Calendar (with multiple PCs per protocol where I start AND end with my base PC), the new and deleted entries transfer in the sync to mulriple PCs, but entries which I have revised (changed appointment time or text, for example) do not reflect the revisions. I've doubled-checked all of my preferences, conflict resolution, etc. It's not a settings issue -- I don't think -- because all new and deleted entries upodate, plus I get a conflict screen if both sides of the operation change the same discreet entry. I've researched it quite a bit but can't find anything on-point about why all new and deleted entries transfer, but old entries which are altered entries do not get updated. Certainly, someone out there syncs with more than one PC (desktop and laptop, for example) and has seen this or resolved it...
