OVI don't show all phone numbers

I have a latest version of OVI Suite, PC Suite and Nokia 2700. In phone I added a contact with 3 phones type "Work" or "Mobile" (not important). But PC Suite and OVI Suite show only first phone number (only 1 phone number in each category/type). In my contact list over 200 records and it is very inconvenient to edit this list in phone, but in PC I can add only 1 phone of each category on 1 contact. How to bypass this limitation?

I have the same issue, Jeffrey Lee4. My car music system ignores the "show all music" setting and of course it should not. Do I need to actually explain that if you do not want to "show all music" on your phone then you do not want it on your car music system?
Apple seems unaware of this bug and I don't see it getting fixed anytime soon. The problem is that when I am driving down the road, I do not want to sort through hundreds of songs looking for what is actually on my phone. I don't like taking my eyes off the road that long. I bought an iPhone primarily so I could play my music especially in my car. My iPhone has become just a phone.

Are the contact details in your contacts app, the phone app uses the contact app to put names against telephone numbers.

TS4268 I am able to imessage from my ipad all phone numbers in contacts but one. With it a get an error message that say "number is not registered with imessage". However I am able to imessage that number from my iphone. Any suggestions?

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

If you've been losing your phone as directed, you should have no data loss as you've been making frequent backups and synching your contacts to a cloud service or contact manager application.

Hi, I live in Peru, and here, starting from tomorrow, all mobile phones will have one more digit at the beginning. The number 9.
For example my actual phone number is xxxx-xxxx and tomorrow it will be 9-xxxx-xxxx
Can anyone can figured out a way to change all my contacts mobile phone numbers at one? Maybe using Applescript or Automator.

break number into 4 items at the "-"
if (length of 3rd item) is 4 then --a mobile
make item 3 9xxxx
reassemble and rewrite number
or would you prefer the format you show where you put in an extra item 9-?
Is that logic likely to catch anything that should not be changed?

Not all phone numbers sync from Gmail to iPhone

Is there a way to control which phone numbers sync from my Gmail Contacts to my iPhone (and vice-versa)?
A few things I've noticed:
- only 1 "mobile" number gets synced from gmail to iphone (which is a pain when a contact has mobile numbers is a couple of different countries)
- a number labled as "other" in gmail doesn't get synced at all to the iphone
I should mention that I have my Gmail account on my iPhone set up as an "Exchange" account.

If you've got Gmail set up as an Exchange account, your options for labels are limited. And, every now and then, I had it randomly relabel things. I'd recommend syncing the contacts through a standard Gmail set up. If you want to keep using your email through Exchange you can do that. Just turn off contacts for that account. When you set up the standard Gmail account (IMAP), only turn on contacts. I've found it works much better.

The database migration report don't show all the erros at creation time

I'm using omwb to migrate a sql server database, i realize that at creation of oracle model there are few stored procedures that was not created.. those object doesn't appear in the Errors_and_Warnings_report.htm but in the logs. My question is why the report don't show those objects?
Another question: how to list the objects that the tool was unable to create in the oracle model?

Are the stored procedures that were not created, but were not in the in the Errors_and_Warnings report, visible in oracle, i.e. is the text available in Oracle? If so, it would be easy to compile all the objects in your schema and do a select to see which stored procedures were invalid.

Want to be able to send all phone numbers from computer to cell phone

Wanting to purchase a new cell phone using Tracfone as service provider and would like to be able to program all names and phone numbers and alarm codes to cell phone using iMac instead of the usual way of pressing all those little buttons on a cell phone....
It is so monotonous having to key in all those numbers the hard way. On my Nokia for instance if I want an "s" I have to press the 7 key four times and yet another key to get it capitalized. There has to be a better way to do this and I was hoping to use my iMac to program all these numbers in thru firewire, bluetooth or USB Any suggestions?

The Motorola C343 appears to be the only mobile handset offered by Tracfone that is explicitly supported by iSync. Supported devices are listed here by manufacturer name and model:

While iSync support synchronization of most Motorola handsets via either Bluetooth or USB, Bluetooth connectivity is not offered with the Motorola C343.

Iphone deleted all phone numbers when synced with Exchange, Please Help!!

We recently received new Iphones for the Administrative staff and thought that like other Smartphones we've used in the past that syncing with Exchange would be a breeze. After doing a bit of research everything pointed towards it being a very simple process, this is the process I followed:
Open up Itunes with Iphone connected
Click your iPhone in the "Devices" section on the left
Click the "Info" tab
In the Contacts section, check "Sync contacts with" and select "Outlook"
Click "All Contacts"
Click the "Sync" button in iTunes lower-right corner
Click "Merge", so that your contacts on your iPhone are preserved
This seemed to work but there is one major problem, all of the contacts on the Iphone and the ones imported into Outlook no longer have any phone numbers associated to them. The contacts were all synced into Outlook/Exchange no problem with their respective emails but with no phone numbers at all. Unfortunately the computer which had the backup of this Iphone was recently decommissioned so I have no backup of the phone in its previous state.
Is there any way to recover the old phone numbers/contacts on the phone without having a backup of it in its previous state? I have tried the "Import Sim Contacts" button in the settings on the phone but it doesn't seem to actually do anything. There are over 100 contacts on this particular phone, some of which the phone numbers will be very difficult to retrieve again.
I have to say that I'm not very impressed that the most popular smartphone out there can't even sync with the largest email platform in the enterprise world properly. If anybody can help me retrieve those numbers some how I would be extremely appreciative.

If you are syncing directly with Outlook, there are options in iTunes to determine which set of contacts takes priority when duplicates are found. Personally I do not use this. I have my device set up to sync directly with the exchange server so all changes are made directly on the server.
Personally I would recommend against using Outlook as the intermediary. You will get much more consistent and reliable results if the iPhone syncs directly with the exchange server and no worries if the end user has not synced the device in days/weeks/months.

And compared to what ?
It sounds like that possibly your Contacts apps on iPhone and Mac are not syncing.
Make sure this is On in both places.

Performance monitor reports and graphs don't show all the counters that were captured

I've run into an odd behavior of performance monitor that I haven't been able to clear up yet: after I run a data collector set, the resulting report only shows a partial list of the counters that I captured, and so does the graph of that report (but different
items).
For instance, I chose the following counters for the data collector set:
\PhysicalDisk(*)\% Idle Time
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk Queue Length
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Read
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Write
When the data collection ends, the report that gets displayed shows all those counters for _Total instance and C:, but then E: only shows % Idle Time and Avg. Disk Queue Length. That's it, the report ends there, even though I also have F: and V: drives on
this server.
If I choose to view the graph of this data collection, it only shows those four counters for the _Total instance.
It took me a while to realize that all the data is being captured, but it's just the display that is truncated. If I view the folder then open the report.html, it actually shows all the data. Same with the graphs. If I select to add counters and add
all the missing counters, they are displayed.
I have searched high and low but haven't been able to find more than one post at ServerFault where someone had a similar issue, but no real solution or cause was provided, so I was hoping that someone here might have an idea.
I also found a variety of articles about missing counters due to registry settings or because the counters needed to be reset, but that's a different issue that doesn't apply in my case. By the way, this is on a windows server 2012 R2 VM (file server).

The counter missing often caused by the related registry value is corrupted, please first refer the following related KB then perform a fix then monitor the issue again.

Stop in timeline - don't show all layers. How?

I am an experienced AfterEffects, FCP, and Camtasia user, but new to Captivate. Currently using Captivate CS5.5 and cannot figure why Captivate shows ALL the layers of content when the playbar stops rather than only the layers active at that point in time. Is there a way to defeat this behavior? This driving me absolutely NUTS!! Can't find the answer in other resources. - Thx!

When editing the slide, you'll see all the objects that are on that slide. When you drag the playhead you'll see only the objects that are active at that point, but when you let the playhead all objects will be there again. Sorry that is the way CP is designed. This dragging is not creating a real preview, which needs a temporary creation of a SWF. That is only possible with real preview modes (F4, F8, F12). Captivate is not a video application, like Camtasia or AfterEffects. It has advantages to have all the objects visible like for aligning purposes; forget about the pure video where manipulating different objects is not at all easy. If you want to align the start of an object timeline with the playhead, use CTRL-L. Perhaps my blog post about the timeline will help you, it is aimed at starters in Captivate:

When transferring songs from iTunes to phone it was doing it ok then all of a sudden it started to say iTunes cannot pick up information from phone restore to factory settings I am afraid if I do this I will loose all phone numbers pictures and songs anyo

Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data, which can be lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer and/or there are a number of free email accounts that support syncing contacts and other data over the air such as with an Apple iCloud account, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
In addition, contacts and photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup.
