Ovi game apps say install failed

i have been trying to download some of the free game apps for my nuron 5230 but once it starts installing it finishes and say installing failed. Several of the apps are doing this and when itried to go to ovi support it keeps saying error and wont connect

Im having the same problem with my C7.
Just switched from an iPhone and there are loads of apps i want to download onto my C7 and keep getting problems after problems. So frustrating!!!!
Every time i try and access the ovi store from my phone i get a "unable to retrieve my stuff list." I have tried rebooting the device and sign out and sign back in which SOMETIMES works. However when i exit the store and go back in, same problem!!!!

Have spent the last 4 hours trying to install 2 simple applications "Grid Touch" and "Converter Touch" downloads fine but get an installation error on the 8th attempt now on trying to get this to work. Tried everything, wifi/ default save location, restarting. Starting to regret jumping ship

I've just spent 1/2 hour struggling with the same thing!
I did find a post on a different forum that mentioned that it might be to do with the carrier and they names O2 as being one. I've just come off the phone with Orange who is my carrier and he said that EE (not even Orange which is a subsiduary) is the only carrier that will allow the three way/multi-person call feature on iphones!

Apps saying installed but not there

I have just updated my phones firmware/software from 15.0.015 to 31.0.15 (my phone is Nokia N95 8gb and a couple of the apps that were installed on the mass memory are saying that they are installed but they are not in the applications folder or anywhere,so when i go to try and delete them it says 'Removing failed' so they wont remove, i cant think why this is happening, because some of the other apps that were on the mass memory have been gone, the apps that are still there are Snaptu, Pac-man (game) and Simon says (game). Everything else works lovely and faster now

Deleting game app - fresh install

I recently upgraded my iPhone (3G to 4) and I'm having functionality issues with a game/app--Caribbean Racing. It utilizes GameCenter, which is a permanent app on the iPhone. It's a sailboat racing game with nine different courses, and I can select different courses and it appears to "load" but it always reverts to the first course. The game also features a two-player wi-fi version which doesn't seem to work at all. The game's tech support told me to do a fresh install (I'm assuming this means deleting from phone and iTunes desktop and removing backup copies of software)--which I've tried to no avail. Is there any way that data is somehow remaining on my phone? Could it be related to game center? I'm even willing to repurchase the app at this point--could iTunes be reverting to an older version of the app when I redownload it from the store? It does remember that I purchased it. Almost impossible, so repurchasing almost certainly would be a waste. I've never seen or heard of the ITunes Store having and downloading any earlier version of the app.
About all I can suggest at this point is a restore of the OS on the iPhone and see if that helps. But not all developers come out with stable software. One of the good things about the App Store is it encourages new developers and low-priced apps, but the downside of that is that at in at least some cases apps are created by inexperienced developers with unknown ability to test and bug-fix. So it may not be something you can fix.

There is a limit of 11 homepages after which apps are only accessible via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) - if you do have 11 screen then you can make more apps 'visible' by using app folders.
If you have less than 11 screens, then have you got an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

I am in the habit of running repair permissions, repair disk and doing a backup. Restart in SafeBoot (not mandatory just for good measure) to run the Combo install. Trouble free so far. Hope this helps.

App says installing but never changes

Hi all,
I have lost some apps from my iPad for no apparent reason just literally disappeared. I go to app store and all those missing say installing but they are not. I have rebooted the iPad I have logged in and out of the store but to no avail.
Any help appreciated please!

I am on ios7 using 5s, i am unable to make in-app purchases in clash of clans game, it says purchase failed and cannot connect to itunes

I am devasted with this, anyone else facing this issues, i have 2 apple ids and i have tried working and downloading the game with both ids and both ids have balance and i even tried changing the game centre as well. nothing helped.

I am having the same problem. There are 3 different apps that I have tried to make an "in app" purchase on. One of the apps tells me "Cannot connect to itunes". We know that this is not true as I have connected to it immediately before and after trying to make this purchase. The other 2 purchase that I have tried to make just don't do anything when click the "Buy now" icon.
I do not use restrictions. I have also tried the solutions above. This problem started on my last phone, the original iphone4 with ios4 and has persisted after an upgrade to the 4S with ios5.
I can't believe that we are the only 2 people with this problem.

I tried to instal lion but my iMac says "install fail because hard drive is damaged and can't be repaired" and my only option is to restart and it immediately tries to download it again, won't let me back to any other screen. Is there anything I can do?

I'll guess that you're upgrading from Snow Leopard? You should be able to start using your original install dvd by inserting the disc and restarting while holding the C key. Run Disk Utility from your install disc and try to repair the drive. Then try the upgrade again.

Apps say installed but missing

I have two apps that say they are installed on my iPad, yet cannot find them. (Yes, have searched etc).
The apps show in my iTunes and also show as ticked in my synced iPad apps.
I've done what some other threads say....ie delete the apps from iTunes, re-sync ipad, re-download from iTunes, re-sync iPad.
Again, the apps show in iTunes, when go to apps store on iPad, they show as installed...but again they are no where to be seen.

You've checked all your homescreens and app folders for them, and have you set any app age rating restrictions in Settings > General > Restrictions that might be hiding them ?
Also how many homescreens do you have - there is a limit of 11, after which apps are only accessible via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). If you've got less than 11 then you could try a reset and see if you can find them after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You could also try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will reset the layout of all your apps, and may make them easier to find

App Says Installed but it's Not! Can't Re-Download

Hello,
I had Lion on my Mac Pro, then I did a clean install of Mountain Lion.
Now after having done a complete clean install, I log into the Mac App Store and it is showing me my app status's as if I was still on my OS before the clean install.
For Example it says:
Final Cut Pro            Update (Instead of Install)
Better Rename 9       Update (Instead of Install)
Both of those apps are not installed on my clean install Mountain Lion. They use to be installed on Lion before the clean install.
What's worse:
GarageBand      Installed (It's not installed)
I cannot click to install GarageBand. I tried Option-clicking on Purchases so that it would give me the option but it doesn't.
This is very frustrating.
Any help in understanding how to reset the App store into looking at the current Applications or resetting the store from within the account.

Heytell app saying installed under App store but not in Iphone

Hi all,
I am trying to get the Heytell app to work on my phone but under the App store it is saying it is installed, but i cant seem to find it anywhere on my phone? Has anyone else had this problem and worked out why or how i can fix this.

It may be hiding in a folder somewhere - if you have any folders for "Social Networking," you may want to look inside to see if it's there. Alternatively, you can swipe right across your screen until you see a "Search" field - type HeyTell in the field and, if it is installed, it should appear below the field - tap the name to open.
