Dear all,
I have had the Nokia OVI player with comes with music feature working fine for two weeks now.
I am using a Windows 7 o/s.
All of a sudden when I try to open Ovi I am greeted with a blank screen sign in screen. All I can see is the Home icon, comes with music, sign in and join now options.
When I click on one of those buttons absolutely nothing happens.
I have tried reinstalling and reinstalling after deleting the MDataStore.db3 from the dataApps folder on my hard drive but still the same thing happens.
Please someone help! I feel cheated that I cannot download music when paying for this service.

I am having a similar issue. However I've had my airport express for over 3 years. Yesterday we had to reset the router as it wasn't broadcasting.
Today having same issue so we reset the router again. And now still blinking amber. When I go to the Airport Utility I can't even go to the Manual Setup as I'm getting the Error 4. Internet works fine as the router and modem are hooked up to my computer via Ethernet cable.
I did a factory reset and the AE is broadcasting again. but I can't get in to protect the network. And it's still blinking amber.
Any thoughts would be great.

Nokia music player stopped working

I have a Nokia 5500 sport and I have recently put a 2 Gb micro SD card in it. Before I had a 1 Gb micro SD and everything worked just fine. But since I put in the bigger card the music player stopped working. It just closes and does not start up.
If I look up the music files in the phones exporer I can start the music from their but I cant enter the library from the music player. Whats wrong? I tried to remove the memory card and then it worked. Is a 2 Gb micro SD card too big for the phone?

the plugin for win media player is already installed and working fine in FF 6.02 before upgrade. i have Google this issue without any result so far. so i reinstalled the old version 6.02, until fix is found.
anyone has the similar issue with Firefox 7.01 in Win 7 32 bit ?

The issue was not with FF 7.01. VLC player version 1.11.1 is conflicting with windows media player when FF 7.01 tries to play media files! Which was not happening before in FF 6.02.
VLC and plugin media player need to be uninstalled first, then uninstalled FF 6.02. Install FF 7.01 and then win plugin media player again.

Flash player stops working after a few days.

I'm recently having issues with flash player on IE and Firefox each time a new version is released. This time the flash player stops working after a few days without any reasons. I have asked two other questions and I have tried the solutions but this time they are not working:

Could anyone tell me what the reason is?
I also need links providing Flash player for IE and Firefox which are always updated. I need to first download the installer then install it offline not install it directly from adobe website.

My flash player stops working after a reboot. i have flash 12.0.044 installed on a dell laptop with windows 7. The flash works fine until the next day when I restart my computer. If I go to control panel / programs and features I notice that the program is still there but the icon has turned blank. If I re-install it works fine until the next reboot. I have asked the IT services company we work with and they have completely ‘rebuild’ my computer. (Installed new windows etc etc) and still the problem won’t go away. I am at a loss. Who can help? Music controls stopped working after I updated iOS7

As soon as I updated (iOS7) to my phone, my music controls stopped working. On the lock screen and in music app, I can’t change volume. Control button looks like lock and when I touch it, volume doesn't want to change. It’s not about my iphone speakers because my phone can ring. I already tryed to reset my phone and still nothing better.

This is happening with my iPad mini too. I bought last week, and it have already come with iOs 7, and the music controls on the lock screen had been working normally but since two days ago it stopped working the play button, favorites and next song button, only the volume is working yet. If anybody know something, let us know. Tell us what you will do cathconst. Thanks. :/

I use the simple Quicktime Music Player to play mp3 music on my website.
However, when I was prompted to update Quicktime, the music player quit working. I think I have messed up the MIME association.
How do I fix that?

It could be corrupted data on the memory card that's causing this.
Does it behave in the same way if you remove the memory card?
If it works ok without the card you need to format the card and reload the music and try again.
If it still fails to work try a factory reset from the settings menu. If that fails then you will have to take it to a nokia care point for repair.

Nokia N96 music player stopped working?

I recently put some new music onto my n96 and then i went to play it on the music player but the music player won't work at all, i can't even open the albums,artists etc. I went to file manager and selected on of my tracks and opened it and it said unable to play file? It seems that my music player has dissappearred, can anyone help??

28days is your maximum for a replacement after that it's a repair. I know cause I've had the same problems spent over three days doing all the same things. just take it back & get your new one before it's too late.
I bought mine before christmas 18th Dec. took it back to Phones for you on sunday 31st. jan. we can only repair it.
even though it had never worked properly & i had proof of my emails to nokia the answer was still the same & that Phones for you should have been contacted not nokia as that was who i bought it off! now I'm without my phone for 2 weeks while nokia looks at it for me then i have to wait for Phones for u to get in touch to go pick it up.

Howdy. My Music player has stopped working, but regular sounds and iTunes samples still work?? Can anyone help.
Push the orange music button and the player opens, but when I push the play button nothing happens other than the pause icon comes up.
Both side volume and the onscreen volume read at full.

-restore ipod to latest ios if problems still happenes then it's a hardware problem nothing like a good old appointment at genuis bar would help.

It sounds like your phone is not successfully booting even though you have reset the device. I would next recommend attempting a backup and restore to iTunes with this article:

If you are unable to restore with iTunes I would next put the device into recovery mode, and attempt the restore again:

Linux - after update to firefox 5 64-bit flash player stopped working

After updating firefox 5 (from stable repo) the flash player stopped working.
I have had installed the adobe flash player square (64 bit) - by following http://queleimporta.com/en/finally-adobe-releases-native-64-bit-flash-10-for-linux/ ...
The .so library is still on its place(/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so), though firefox does not seem to have flash player installed.
before update to firefox 5 it worked
system is Xubuntu 10.04

Finally I've found out that it's possible to install flash from lucid repositories (which works... named 'flashplugin installer')... I've never noticed that before... So sorry for asking stupid question and thanks to anyone who spend some time even only by reading this thread.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility

*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

Hi, I had about the same problem for weeks.
System: Windows 7 Professional X64, no SP
Ovi Suite: 2.1.1.1
Device: Nokia N97, SW 21.0.102, Special-Software 21.0.102.238.03
Language: All systems and devices in German
After I installed Ovi Suite from the scratch, after freshly installed Windows 7 System, it ran correctly.
So I installed and configured the Windows System like I want it. After quite some time, the Ovi App began to hang and did not work properly anymore.
A reinstall of the Suite led into the above mentioned problems. It just hung up, right after start. No possibility to connect the mobile device or configuration.
The main message I got from Windows message report was that Nokia M Platform lost its connection. Nokia M Platform 2.6.86 (NLib 0.8.552)
Another earlier message said: Nokia M Data Store opened at location "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\Thumbnail\DataBase\MDataStore.db3"
I checked the path and the datastore and renamed "\Thumbnail\DataBase\MDataStore.db3" to "MDataStore.db3_old" and also "\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3" to "MDataStore.db3_old".
Now the installation runs fine again and the Ovi Suite does not hang anymore. The only disadvantage in my case was, that I use the Nokia Music Player and all my playlists etc. were gone after I renamed the database.
