Ovi store not working on my nokia E7-00

i bought a new nokia E7-00 but the problem is my ovi store is not working.its written could not connect or service not available...plz help me what to do..m from pakistan. thanks

Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions! 
1. Make sure that the phone runs the latest software version. You can use Nokia Suite to check if there's software update available for your phone, refer to this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-updat​e/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/
2. Check the network quality. If the connection is poor the Store application or downloading applications may not work correctly. 
   Try to use alternate connection types such as WLAN, 3G or GPRS/EDGE. If there is still issues with network coverage, you must contact the network operator for assistance.
3. Clear the cached memory on the phone 
 Go to the device Menu
Select Web
Choose Options -> choose Settings
Click on Privacy data
Choose Clear Privacy data -> Choose Cache.
4. Uninstall and reinstall your Nokia Store application. for Symbian^3 devices can be downloaded also from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 directly to phone or download the package to your PC and install it via Nokia Suite.

    Hi,
    I have successfully updated my N8 firmware to Anna including all s/w updates (mandatory as well as optional) and all the updates were successful.
    However, now when I try to launch Ovi store, I just see the launch screen and the app closes automatically. I have tried hard reset, manual installation of ovi store but nothing worked for me.
    Did anyone face a similar problem? Any ideas to fix this problem will be highly appreciated.

    >3-Button Hard Reset
    NOTE:
    *You will lose all data such as messages, contacts, notes, photos & videos etc., so please make a backup before you do this.
    *All preinstalled applications will be removed, but after the update process you will have Quickoffice, Adobe Reader, Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, Ovi Music, Internet Radio, Shazam, Microsoft Communicator and a few others.
    *You MUST have at least 75% battery.
    >SW Update:
    1. Symbian Anna 1/2
    2. Symbian Anna 2/2
    3. Ovi Store
    4. NFC with free game
    5. Social
    (restart after every install)
    Mine works perfect now, Anna icons and everything (C7-00, 059B7W4).
    NOTE:
    *When restoring data do not restore applications & settings as this may cause the problem to re-occur.

     The OVI store, whatsapp, Facebook, like these applications are not working in my nokia c3 model. 
    I had updated the software two times at nokia care but still I can not get a result.

    Hi. It's best if you'll elaborate the concern. What do you mean by they are not working? Are you able to open the applications or not at all? By the way, make sure that you have a stable connection whether you are using WiFi or packet data. If you verified that the connection is stable, you can try to uninstall and then re-install the applications.
    If above wouldn't help, you can try to restore the factory settings of the device. You can go to Menu > Settings > Restore Factory Settings > Settings Only. This will not delete any personal information but those settings you customized will go back to its default settings.

    Hey Frnds Ovi Store Is Working.............yupppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Finally it installed on my c7 and n8 too......
    What should hv to do(for those whose ovi is unable to install):
    * just Format your phone via *#7370#
    * And after that no need to install any qt etc software,just check for SW update in your device.
    * And it will show an update of ovi store about 15 MB .
    * Thats it.
    why it was not showing an update before?
    ans. because i hv installed qt 4.7 and qt webkit.so SW update wasn't showing any update.

    Okay ... PC Tools has released an update for some LSP-related iTunes conflicts, so it might also be worth investigating that:

    Have you tried opening the videos from the YouTube application too? 
    Is your device updated to the lastest version? If yes, I advise you to reinstall the software. You may update and reinstall device's software from the updates tab in Nokia Suite.

  • I have done everything I can in all discussions. Itunes store not working.  I have Windows 7 , 64 bit.

    I have read all the replies to the "Itunes store not working".  I have done everything I can to use any of the solutions.  This is my 5th day.  I give up.  Need some help.  As I can see there seems to be a lot of those problems.

    I spent some time on the phone this morning with Apple. Here's a link they sent me: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
    It's more than just uninstalling Itunes; there are 5 other apps that have to be uninstalled and in specific order. This particular Knowledge Base article applies to Windows Vista or Windows 7. For other Windows versions you'd have to look up the article for Windows XP.

    I have few policies set up for managing our network deployment of Office 2013 ProPlus. Pretty standard things like disabling the first time run movie, disabling the office start screen, and disabling OneDrive. I actually made most of these changes through
    the registry as well.
    Now, it seems as though the Office Store is disabled but I have no recollection of specifically disabling such a feature nor could I find a registry or GPO which does disable it. I even undid many of the registries I use on a test bench but still could not
    get the Office Store functionality back. We've had Office 2013 rolled out on our network for almost a year, and it's taken this long for 1 person of 150 members of staff to notice that the Dictionaries feature is not working due to Office Store not working.
    I feel a bit daft posting something seemingly so trivial on TechNet, but half an hour on Google didn't turn up anything relevant that I wasn't already aware of.

    Please check if you have disabled the option of "Don't allow any apps to start" and "Don't allow apps from the Office Store to start" in Office Trust Center.
    Location: FILE->Options->Trust Center->Trusted App Catalogs
    GPO settings for these options:
    Block Apps for Office
    Block the Office Store
    Location: User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Microsoft Office 2013->Security Settings->Trust Center->Trusted Catalogs

    I was at my friends house, everything was working fine. I went to my girlfriends house, everything was still working fine. Then once I got home, I got back out my 2010 MacBook Pro 15" to use and some pages on the internet looked a little odd. They were all in HTML format and wouldn't go back (Pages such as Skype and Apple's main page). I thought they were just down or being fixed up, but then I went to update my Mac under the App Store. I clicked the App store and a message popped up saying "App Store cannot verify a secure connection with the App Store." The options were "Cancel" or "Continue". I clicked "Continue" so I could update my Mac, but weird enough, the App Store started flickering (strobing; blinking) as seen in this video by someone with the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De8aQZccRvA
    I do not know what to do or why this is happening, so help would be VERY nice.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

    rahul, as per what you have explained it seems a bit unusual issue. You have taken the best recovery measurements step by step. I suggest you take the device to the care Centre as it sems to be a issue with the mail client only.

  • Syncing from E7 to Nokia Ovi Suite " Not Working "

    First i opened Ovi Suite today & it worked just fine, & it notified me about new update & after i did update to 3.1.1.90 nothing start work as normal as it use to be.
    I restarted Ovi Suite & first thing i keep getting is this note:
    Operation failed
    Unable to read the tracks.
    Of course the syncing problem not solved after this " welcome note ! "
    Always nothing sync, not contacts photos nor videos nothing at all & i got this message all the time:
    Sync done
    Some content was not synced properly.  You can check what went wrong and then sync again.
    Warnings-Contacts
    There was problem with syncing your contacts. Please restart Nokia Ovi Suit. If  that does not help, try repairing Nokia Ovi Suite
    Error code: 83940004
    As i said at the beginning of my message restating not helping & i did repair sync but nothing worked in both ways & now i'm writing to u cuz i'm sure the problem is with this new software version.
    So is there any chance to save my contacts photos & videos to my Nokia Ovi Suite???

    Could you please follow this step by step process? 1. Uninstall Ovi Suite, PC Connectivity solution and Nokia Connectivity cable drivers from Add/remove program if anything is there.
    2. Delete the files from here If anything is there
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Nokia\Ovi Suite
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OviInstallerCache
    3. Please search and download MSI clean up utility from microsoft website
    Once installed please select the programs related to Nokia and click remove.
    Restart Computer.
    Then download from microsoft website and install Windows Installer, so that the installer is upto date.
    4. Restart the PC
    5. Download and Install latest OviSuite http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/​nokia-ovi-suite
    6. Connect the device and try
