Ovi store payment problem

Hi, I wanted to purchase some apps from Ovi Store.
I added one debet card to my Nokia account and
then went through my mobile to Ovi Store purchase
app - PopFlix. After all the procedures of purchasing
the final page showed "Transaction denied" !! But
the price of app was paid from my bank account. The worse thing is, that now I dont have neither
money nor apps. Sorry for my bad english, nokia
store support dont answer me, just send me email
„please contact technical support“. This is the way
of nokia support ????

In some countries you have the Voucher facility..If available, you may be able to purchase vouchers at a retail or Nokia store with the payment method offered in the store...
In absence of this, the only other way out is to tell a friend (who has a Credit Card) to help you out...

E5 Ovi Store update Problem/Bug

Hi,
Had a notification that a newer version of Nokia / OVI store was available today (22/02/12 Ver. Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.....
BUT....
It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.........so the phone memory is filling up.
EVEN WORSE...
If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!!
Can't find any of my own photo's because all these stupid icons/pictures from the store!
Nokia.....you really didn't test this update fully................. did you?

Reinstalled The Device Software from Nokia Suite..........Still no joy
Open the Nokia Store from the main menu and its tell me I must download the new version or exit.
Download the new version and screws up the phone as per previous posts.
Does anyone know where to get the previous version that was active upto yesterday ??
i.e. BEFORE "Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014"

OVI Stores Payment Services Unavailable

Hi All,
I recently tried to purchase the application SMSChat for the Nokia X6 using my credit card. I however got an error that the OVI Payment Services was currently unavailable. My Credit Card works just fine. I pushed this query to Nokia Support and all I got was a barrage of questions... which took a repetitive nature.. I'm hoping someone in the Discussions forum understand this problem.

Welcome to the forum.
There are two payment methods available for Nokia Store purchases and those are Credit Card and Operator billing. Since you don't have a credit card, you can go for the Operator billing as a payment method; however, this will depend on your mobile service provider. If your service provider / mobile operator supports this option, you will have the option available for charging the amount of the application or content you want to purchase to your phone bill or have it deducted from your phone credit. For this, it'll be best to contact your service provider for further information.

Reader store payment problem:(

I am from Turkey and I bought my reader from USA but unfortunately I cannot buy any books from reader store because my credit card address and number belongs to Turkey and in order to be able to buy I should use an American card and address. It is a really big issue for me. Why don't you have a paypal option in your store? Please, add a new payment method for your international customers.

Ovi Store Payment Service Down??? In Canada.

I am trying to buy Freecell Touch using my N97. Everytime I click buy and re-enter password. It says Nokia Payment Service is down. Is anyone experiencing the same problem? I want to BUY this GAME!!! When it the Payment Sevice going to be online????

Ovi Store Connection Problem

Hello,
When I am at home, I can perform an Ovi sync via my home WiFi network without any problems. However, when I try syncing via GPRS/3G, I always get a "Server not responding" error. My GPRS/3G connection works fine for all other uses, so it would appearto be a specific Ovi sync problem.
Is anyone can help me for this problem ?

5800 Problem with Ovi Store and Facebook - HELP PL...

I have had my 5800 for about 4 weeks now and had a great time using Facebook and downloading stuff from the Ovi Store when suddenly my problem appeared. When I try and log on to the Ovi Store it says at the bottom "you are logged in as Purpledwarfy but when I try to move onto another page I get an error saying "sign in failed, check your user name and password" I know that my username and password are correct because they work on all the other PCs I have tried it on. I have also tried to change my password and it hasn't made a difference.
On Facebook I log in using the same details that get me access on a PC and it looks like it is going to load my page but just goes straight back to the login page.
Has anyone else had the same problem and have you been able to fix it??

Hi, I got it fixed in the end. I found the nearest Nokia Service Centre Experts who ended up being Carphone Warehouse. I handed them my phone and went back to get it a couple of hours later and it was fixed. All they did was wipe the phone, after saving my contacts etc onto the memory card, and then rebuilt it. Working great now

Problem updating ovi store and downloading whatsap...

When i try to open ovi store on my x2-01 it tells me to update it before i would be able to download it and when i try it always tells me page not found.my other problem is when i try to download any software e.g whatsapp application using my phone it tells page not found i have restore it factory setting but am still having the same problem please what should i do because i really love to use other softwares e.g whatsapp

Unfortunately that is one of the outstanding issues with the current firmware in the N8, E7 and C7. The hard reset does not reinstall Qt which is required for the apps you mentions. See this.

my phone nokia C7 can not turn on, then I use a three finger salute to hard reset, and my phone can turn on again, but social networking application, ovi store and ovi maps are lost, I tried installing again, but always "unable to install", while applications else could, what happened? what should I do? Problem with Installing Nokia Ovi Store in E51

I am having problem with installing nokia Ovi store in my E51. Whenever I try to download Ovi store from my E51, it shows a error message that the component is built in and cannot be installed. I dont know wat to do now. Can anyone please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.

i'm unable to configure a card for payment. tried many times with CITI & HDFC credit cards but always it says- card information is not true.

5800 XM Ovi-Store Problems

I picked up a 5800 the other day and have been finding my way around it. However I cannot work out the Ovi Store.
I can't login to the OviStore. There is no error message. When I enter my username and pword (same ones thast work with pc based nokia/ovi sites) the green and white hatched bar starts scrolling, but nothing happens. Even after 15 mins nothing has happened.
I contacted Nokia support who suggested the soft reset. I did this and was finally able to login. Next I clicked on facebook>download. The download button turns grey but there is no apparent progress. On checking in the downloaded apps list, there is a facebook file but it's only 4kb in size. Installing this does nothing at all. Removing it, and trying again - same result.
Next I tried uninstalling the Ovi Store, removing all 3 entries from the settings>app mgr>installed apps. However, the Ovi Store logo was still present in Menu>Store. I clicked on that and it prompted me to download and reinstall OviStore. Now, I have the original problem back - I get to the Ovi Store login page with the scrolling green and white hatched bar, but no progress.
What am I doing wrong?
