  • ITunes crashes every time I sync

I'm having crazy trouble with syncing my iPod classic 20G all of a sudden. Every time I open iTunes it tries to sync my music first and it crashes. I have tried changing the settings - I just wanted to update my photos; but no matter what I do it crashes every time. If I tried to force it to quit, it crashes my whole computer. Can anyone help?

Just wondering if anyone else has figured this problem out yet? I am now having the same problem with my iTunes for my iPod classic and my iPod Touch. I even restored my iPod Touch and I am very frustrated and angry now.

  • Duplicates in iphoto every time i sync with my iphone

any ideas? every time i sync iphone i manage to get duplicates in iphoto even though i select, 'do not import duplicates'

When you sync the iPad, do you have mail settings configured to sync to the iPad? You could have different settings on your computer that might be affecting the email set up on the iPad when you sync.

  • Time/date on my iPhone changes every time I sync with iTunes - any fix?

    Hi All,
Every time I sync my phone with my computer, the time and date on my phone changes - it goes to one week behind, and about 10 hours earlier than it actually is. My computer calendar has the right time (NYC time zone), the calendar support settings on my iPhone are set to NYC time zone - what could be happening? Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Maria

    msteinny,
So i went to the apple store to meet with an apple genius to ask him why my phone's time kept moving up 1 hour everytime I synced my phone. Well he said that he's never seen this problem before, and after a trying a reset and restore he let me exchange my phone. The problem is that when I went to sync my new phone the problem still persisted. They told me it was probably something to do with my computer and its time zone settings.
So I get home and click on my computers clock in the bottom right hand corner to bring up the date and time properties and sure enought my time is correct, the date is correct and the time zone is correct (Eastern Daylight Time). So I look through the different tabs (Date & Time, Time Zone, Internet Time). The first thing I tried to do was to change where my computer syncs its internet time. It was originaly set on NIST time. I then switched it to Windows time, but this didn't do anything. My clock would still change when I synced to itunes. The next thing I tried was fideling around in the Time Zone tabs. I noticed that the box that says "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings" was unchecked, so I checked it and my computer's time jumped an hour ahead. So I left the box checked but moved my clock one hour back (to the correct time), clicked on apply and left it at that. I synced my iPhone and voila! The time didn't change! It stayed on the correct time! To to make a long story short, make sure that you computer's clock is set on "automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes, make sure your time zone is correct, and that the time is right when that box is checked. I hope this helps you. I'm glad I got a new phone out of the deal;)

  • IOS 7 messes up my libraries and playlists every time I sync with iTunes!!

Every time I sync my iphone with my itunes I end up missing music from my device, even the one bought at the itunes store with my device. I can recover it from my itunes library but for god's sake this is annoying!!! EVERY TIME!!!
I tried to contact support but they want to charge me for the event because they are tying it either to my computer or my iphone and both are more than 1 year old. What is this??? I didn't ask for you to chagne my device's iOS to v.7 which is a piece of crap! And iOS7 is less than a year old as well as Maveriks!!! Where is Apple's guarantee that its products will work??
I hope someone can help me with this problem becasue, obviously, the company that manufactures these products and these devices is not willing to. I MISS STEVE JOBS and the old Apple!! When they cared about their costumers.
Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Crashes every time I Sync

Every time I plug in my iPod or iPhone, iTunes goes through the sync but when it tries to complete it shuts down saying that Windows has encountered an error and needs to close. I have tried restoring my PC to a time when it worked, re-installing iTunes and trying to sync multiple different iPods but with no success. Anybody have any ideas?

I am having a similar problem. When I plug my ipod in to sync, Itunes crashes and says it's not responding. If I unplug the ipod, Itunes starts working again.

  • ITunes crashes every time I sync my iPad. HELP!

Every time I attempt to sync my iPad, iTunes crashes.
I have deleted iTunes and re-installed.
    I have restored my iPad.
    I have repaired permissions.
I am using the most current versions of all software.
    Anyone have a solution?

    Weird addition:
Clicking the X to stop the backup process will allow the sync to move forward without a crash. At the end of it a message pops up saying that the sync failed because the iPad disconnected. Well, it doesn't disconnect, and the sync seems to happen. I think.
This problem totally ***** and Apple should be helping me.

  • Every time I sync with iTunes, certain apps copy over

Every time I plug my new iPhone 5s (7.01) into my MacBook to sync with iTunes 11.1, the Pages app starts to copy itself from iTunes to the iPhone.  However, it's already installed on the iPhone.  Upon every sync, it copies over again and again... this is a pain since it takes a long time to sync now because of this.
Actually, this was also happening with Numbers, Keynote, iPhoto and iMovie, but I totally removed these.  Pages will be the next to go if I can't get this sorted out.
I've been syncing iOS devices with iTunes for years and have never seen something like this before.
    Any ideas?  Thanks.

  • Why does the port settings on my iPad change every time I sync with my computer. After syncing I have to go in and change the port settings so I can send and receive emails on my iPad.

Every time iSync my iPad 2 with my computer it changes the port settings. Has anyone else had this issue?

When you sync the iPad, do you have mail settings configured to sync to the iPad? You could have different settings on your computer that might be affecting the email set up on the iPad when you sync.

  • Device time moves back 1 hour every time I sync with Desktop Manager

Every time that I sync my device using Desktop Manager the time of day on the device moves back one hour. Both my PC and my BB device are set to Central US time, so I can think of no reason why this occurs.
    Ideas?

If you can't resolve the DST on your computer you can also change the sync settings to not update your clock.

  • Authorize every time I sync with iPhone

Each time I sync my iPhone 3G with iTunes, it asks me to authorize my computer or all my applications will be removed. The thing is, it's already authorized... After I've been asked to authorize it, I have to type my Apple ID and password in, and then iTunes tells me that my computer already is authorized, and including this one I have 4 of 5 computers authorized. I just think it is a bit annoying having to go through this procedure eeeeevery time I sync, since I do that quite a lot. Anyone recognize this problem, and have a way of solving it?
I run the latest version of iTunes and Windows 7, and also that latest version of the iPhone OS.
    Thanks !

  • HT1386 Why does iTunes reinstall all my photos every time I sync with my iDevice?

I store over 10000 photos on my ipad and iphone.
It doesn't usually happen, but lately, when I sync with my device via iTunes, it deletes all my photos and resync them back in.
Which dramatically increase my sync time from a few minutes to half an hour.
Does anyone know what might be the cause of it? And most important, how to fix this?
    Thanks
