OVI suite cant install on Windows 7 x64

When I try to install ovi suite 2.2.1.23 the attached errors appears on screen. Can any help me to install it?

1. try running "sfc /scannow" from the command line.
2. Run windows update
3. Download Nos 2.2.1.23, or NOS 3beta and try

Hi, I had about the same problem for weeks.
System: Windows 7 Professional X64, no SP
Ovi Suite: 2.1.1.1
Device: Nokia N97, SW 21.0.102, Special-Software 21.0.102.238.03
Language: All systems and devices in German
After I installed Ovi Suite from the scratch, after freshly installed Windows 7 System, it ran correctly.
So I installed and configured the Windows System like I want it. After quite some time, the Ovi App began to hang and did not work properly anymore.
A reinstall of the Suite led into the above mentioned problems. It just hung up, right after start. No possibility to connect the mobile device or configuration.
The main message I got from Windows message report was that Nokia M Platform lost its connection. Nokia M Platform 2.6.86 (NLib 0.8.552)
Another earlier message said: Nokia M Data Store opened at location "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\Thumbnail\DataBase\MDataStore.db3"
I checked the path and the datastore and renamed "\Thumbnail\DataBase\MDataStore.db3" to "MDataStore.db3_old" and also "\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3" to "MDataStore.db3_old".
Now the installation runs fine again and the Ovi Suite does not hang anymore. The only disadvantage in my case was, that I use the Nokia Music Player and all my playlists etc. were gone after I renamed the database.

Ovi suite cannot install primary software to phone

The first time I connect my E7 to the pc running the ovi-suite, the suite wants to install
some primary software to the phone. Unfortually, this proces fails without a errorcode,
there isn't even a response for acceptation by the phone.

HI,
Freeing space on C:\ phone memory is a problem.
Windows says that the phone's memory is full,
but after selecting the folders and files the total
use is 36.5kB ?!
So what goes wrong?

Ovi Suite Installer Hangs on Windows XP SP3

Hi,
I'm getting really frustrated trying to Install the Ovi Suite Installer 2.2.0.241 on my Thinkpad T400. I still have about 8G free, but the installer hangs at about 50%. I have tried to install numerous times, with and without restarting the machine., but get the same unsuccessful results. For now I have to do with the Nokia PC Suite which was successfully installed, but I really look forward to using the OVI.
I just purchased a Nokia N97 mini after having spent 5 years on Windows Mobile due to hardward and software issues. I hope I did not make another mistake by moving back to Symbian! Even when I cancel the installation, it still hangs. Help please.

I am not sure whether this will solve your problem but if have not followed this can try it once.
1. Uninstall Ovi Suite, PC Connectivity solution and Nokia Connectivity cable drivers from Add/remove
2. Delete the files from here:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Nokia\Ovi Suite
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OviInstallerCache
3. Restart your PC
4. Download and Install latest OviSuite http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite

OVI Suite not Installing

I have tried in excess of 10 times to install Nokia Ovi Suite on my PC.
I have visited this site and tried all of the suggestions, removing existing software, restarting, redownloading the newest version of NOS and installing to no avail.
The error message I get every time is:
Installer
Error 1327.
Invalid drive: S:\
Please help!!!

What version of Windows are you utilizing?
WARNING If you're comfortable with editing registry:
Hit Start, Run and type Regedit
Find the following HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows| CurrentVersion\ Explorer\User Shell Folders
In the right pane - see if these is any entries which has an F or any other alphabets not C (your OP folder) modify data to C:\

Please help!!! Cant install itunes 10 x64

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot install itunes 10 x64. Keep getting error message saying bonjour services failed to start make sure you have sufficiant privelages. I have tried every fix i have seen including disabling my firewall and anti-virus, disabling bonjour service, uninstalling itunes and all traces of other programs. I just purchased an iPad and have yet to be able to sync content from my itunes library becuase i cant install it. I am losing my mind over this and would very much appreciate any help. Very irritating having brand new iPad and not being able to sync. Thank you

How long should it take Ovi Suite to install a sof...

I have been waiting for quite some time already and it is still at step 3 - Install. It says it is preparing to install and not to disconnect my device, otherwise it may stop working.
It is nothing out of common, the only thing that bothers me is that it is preparing for too long, when will it start installing?

Ovi Suite wont install

I get almost to the end of installation when the message 256mb space required for installation appears. Install is then aborted. There is more than enough space required on my drive.Changed the destination for install and still the same message appears. This is driving me nuts. Is it the **bleep** software or is it me? This should not be so hard.

I install Nokia Ovi Suite. It works excrelent. But software update dont see updates. On nokia site wrote that latest version is 08.63, but on my phone is 7.20, and ovi suite tell that is no mew version of softvare for my phone. How to update software.

Availability of update depends on Region / Product Code.. Also if the phone is Network locked, then the update will be possible only after an approval from the Operator...Hence the update may not be available for your phone yet...
...You may also try thru' Nokia Software Updater...sometimes if one (OVI Suite) doesn't show... the other (NSU) shows.. and vice versa...

What versions of Oracle Application Server suite to install on Windows 2008

Hello everyone!
Now I want to install Oracle Application Server on Windows Server 2008.
I downloaded 10.1.3.1.0 SOA suite, and also downloaded the patchset for 10.1.3.4, I'm working on windows server 2008,its version is 6.0. and 11g database release(11.1.0.6.0)(installed).
But when I try to install SOA suite, it give me error on 1st screen of universal installer as “checking operating system version: must be 5.0,5.1 or 5.2. actual 6.0 failed<<<< Press enter to exit”.
And when I try to install patchset for 10.1.3.4. It does not show any version problem,but it give me a Error message “There are no patches that need to be applied from the patchset oracle app server patchset 10.1.3.4.0 “,after screen “Specify file locations”.
Please tell me how to install successfully what kind of Oracle AS on Windows Server 2008!

If you are using an AMD 64bit machine, then paritcularly check line 88. If you have an intel, see particularly 125 and 126 to see the relevant patches to be applied before installation of your type of AS software.

Ovi suite 2.0 and Windows 7 professional (Desperat...

I have installed ovi 2.0 in my fresh install windows 7 professional. Firewall disable. No antivirus program installed. UAC (User account) disable. Ovi installation is ok but when insert my N96 a Device MTP error appear. Other drivers (N96 obex,.....) are ok but in Portable Device result MTP DEVICE with yellow triangle. I have reinstalled Ovi, restart windows, restart phone..... but nothing! I have repaired installazion of PC Connetivity solution and Cable driver but nothing! I have installed driver manually but nothing! Any idea ?????

You should Google MTP Device.
There are remedies for this, which are too complicated to go into here. Just follow the advice.
