  • Ovi Suite Error code 12052

Hello! I've been trying to resoft my Nokia N73 using the Ovi Suite. Everything works fine in the beginning, but then I get an error telling me that there was a problem with Nokia Suite and that I should reinstall the program and retry. Also, it gives me the error code 12052. I've tried reinstalling the program, and I still get the same error. Also, I have uninstalled both Ovi suite and the USB Drivers, as well as the Nokia Driver. I am using Windows XP SP2.
    Thank you in advance!

I have recently brought a N8 and too was plagued with 12052 error on Firmware Update. However, tonight I have managed to update Firmware through Nokia Suite and while I am typing this the phone is currently installing 'Symbian Anna' update. YAHOOO!!!
On research I found 12052 has server communication errors which can indicate MALWARE. I run my Malware scanner by IOBIT (Free download from through www.download.com and is very good . Direct link http://download.cnet.com/IObit-Malware-Fighter/3000-8022_4-10967594.html?tag=mncol;1) to which the quick & deep scan . . . . . . . .( ANNA Is now installed, now installing Map update with enhanced navigation, social & symbian anna service pack). . . . . . found a total of 89 problems. I quarantined and deleted these and then tried Firmware Update, well, you now know the result (see 'install complete' screen shot attachment)
Hope it works for you, would appreciate feedback. Good Luck. . . .

  • Ovi Suite Error 83860071 syncing calendar from Out...

I am currently attempting to sync the calendar from Outlook 2010 to my Nokia 6220C using Ovi Suite v2.2.0.245.
I receive the error 83860071 when attempting to do this. Originally I was receiving the alert that there was no default mail client installed, until I changed the settings for Outlook and set it to be the default client for all e-mail settings (it was already the default for each individual option, but the overall setting was not selected).
Since making this single change I now get the above error code. I am however able to successfully sync my contacts, and always have been able to do so.
Of note, the machine is Win7 Enterprise x64, with Office 2010 x64 installed. I previously had Office 2007 (x86) installed which Ovi worked perfectly with, but as Office 2010 x64 cannot co-exist with an x86 version of office, I had to uninstall Office 2007 first before installing Office 2010 x64..
Any suggestions / help would be appreciated.

    Hi All,
When I tried to syncronise to my Outlook calendar, I got an error: "Cannot login to the Mosrosoft Outlook profile Outlook. Then sync again"
    Outlook 2007
    Nokia Ovisuite 2.2.1.23
    Windows 7 32bit
I ran the Office Diagnostics tool in Outlook (Help> Office Diagnostics) and it solved my problem

  • Nokia OVI Suite Error - Unable to read the tracks

I have puchased Nokia X6, which comes with unlimited music download. I have registered my PC with this subscription and downloaded music from the store.
However recently the Nokia OVI suite Software 3.0.0.290 gives a  error on clicking the Music section - Operation Failed "Unable to read the tracks"

I have OVI Suite 3.1.1, and a Nokia 5230, which works with OVI suite only while there is no Micro SD card in the phone.  This was the same with OVI 2, as well.  WIth the card inserted, the /private/10208913 folder is regenerated every time the card is plugged back into the phone, and a "New Hardware Detected - MTP" message appears every minute or so, which also denies accessing the phone through windows explorer despite selecting the Mass Memory Mode. I've been unable to load any new music to the phone for months, despite countless retries.
I have win XP, and a crumbling confidence in Nokia.  A tragedy that I have bought an X6 for the other half, which I have not had time to set up yet, and another 5230 for my father which was also several days toil of installs and reinstalls of OVI Suite and OVI Music on a Vista PC.  Nokia OVI just seems like nothing but constant hard work, and what I could have earned in overtime would have paid for a much slicker product.  Unless Nokia can sort this out, rather than relying on discussion groups to try to help user groups resolve what seems to be a flakey product, from my limited experience, I don't hold out much hope for this product line.

  • OVI Suite error 80043c94: E52 didn't synchronize

The synchronizing of my home PC (XP home) and the E52 using the newest ovi suite works fine without any problems (contacts, calendar, notes, messages).
But  trying to do the same at my office PC (XP professional) fails with the error message, that I have to reconnext cable or bluetooth ( last was connected all the time) and the error number 80043c94 (see attachment).
I asked many times the Nokia services, there come three answers from three different persons but nothing helps. I did all the things they want, deleting files and directories, take away the battery from the E52 for more than 5 minutes but nothing helps. Also I deinstall the PC Suite.
The speciality in my office is that my home directory is redirected from C: to H: . May be this is the reason for the trouble?
Do anybody know what the error code 80043c94 means? It was surprising for me that the people from the Nokia service didn't know this and didn't understand why I think they have to know this ..
As attachment you see a screen shot of the error message (unfortunately in German).
    Best regards, Bert.

    Hi,
Have you installed Nokia PC Suite also on your PC???
Do have backup of your phone data & PC registries then
Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia OVI Suite, Nokia Connectivity cable driver, PC Connectivity solution, Nokia flashing cable driver(if any on your PC), Run PC Suite cleaner.
If you want to install Nokia OVI Suite, install the latest OVI Suite 1.1 (kindly do some googling as i am getting some error message in the following page

  • Ovi suite errors.

    Hi all,
I was the proud owner of a shiny new nokia c6, until i started using ovi suite. The first installation went fine( on an xp laptop.) All sync went fine contacts, pictures etc. Started downloading some maps for when i travel around europe. Then the software update told me that a new FW was available for the phone. I did this and all went fine FW version is now 20.0.042. After this it has all gone down hill.........
1)Ovi maps will not work, always stating that ovi maps is running on the device. When clearly it is not, have spent over 2 hrs on phone to customer support with no success.
2)For some reason my contacts now keep doubling on my phone?????????
3)Everytime I now try to sync the contacts Ovi crashes???
So two days in phone is slow, unstable. Crashed several times, and to top it off now the ovi software doesnt work in any usefull way.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than just go back to HTC???
    Thanks.

    Hey Bigjon1976,
y cant u try out the latest ovisuite 3.0.0.290. Online sync option is not available in this version and it works cool, hope once u clear out ur duplicates it will never get duplicates again.
And for maps, first open ur maps application in ur mobile and then close it again. later u connect to ovi suite. If needed delete all ur previous maps, update maps application thru' ovisuite if available and later download new maps.
NOTE: Remember to open and close maps applicaion in the device whenever you install new maps application.
    Regards

  • E71x, Ovi Suite 3.0.0, and Outlook 2010 Contact Sy...

I was unsure whether to post this here, or in the E-Series Forums - I believe this is primarily an Ovi issue, though.
I've had this e71x for about four months now. In all that time, I still have yet to find a lasting solution to my contact sync problems. It's always been something - device recognition, drivers, software updates... just name it.
When Ovi 3.0. was released, I thought, 'Maybe this update will resolve the problems, finally'. Well, It did - for maybe two syncs. Then we were back to errors. Specifically, error code '8004fd02' (see attachment).
That's what I see every time I try to contact sync. It seems to be a problem with the online Ovi, because every time I sync via the Suite, then check Ovi.com, I have a stack of seemingly duplicated contacts. And I don't mean the same person, listed a couple times, with slightly varying detail labels: I mean the exact same entry, repeated half a dozen times, but only in Ovi.com. The only pattern concerning which ones get duplicated, as far as I can tell, is a recent update. Everywhere else my address book is, by and large, updated accurately, although Ovi and Outlook do seem to occasionally diagree on semantics.
That's about the gist of it, at the moment *crosses fingers*. I just need to straighten that out so I don't have a dozen or more extra contacts to delete online and on my phone each sync. The Suite is consistently recognizing my phone though, so that's progress...
    Specs
    Win 7 Pro x64
    Outlook 2010 32-bit
    Ovi Suite v. 3.0.0.284
    e71x software v. 03.28
    Thank You.
P.S. I don't need to hear for the umpteenth time about 'unplugging and reattaching the phone', or 'checking for software updates', or 'making sure I have the drivers installed'. I've had plenty of time to check the basics by now -

  • What's the difference between Nokia Ovi Suite 2.2....

Yesterday I updated to Ovi Suite 2.2.1.22 from 2.2.0.245 - Update crashes as usual with OVI suite (Error Message: Could not delete Service).
I had to uninstall all Nokia SW, reboot, install first the new Ovi Suite than PC Suite (I like a reliable Outlook Synchronisation, which OVI doesn't provide).
Just tried to define a Outlook folder to synchronize Outlook Notes: Just by accessing the Outlook file - Ovi crashes!
For what OVI suite is usefui? Delete all the Maps on my phone at once (which lasts several Hours) - Formatting the memory card is much more faster
Looking whether the is a ROM update for my N82 is available - It isn't.
PC Suite still works fine in synchronizing Outlook 2010 on Win7 x64. OVi suggests the same, but immediately crashes when just accessing a Outlook file.
Possibly in OVI Suite 5 this will work, about in the year 2025.
Where there is a technical documentation on the different versions of the OVI suite, where on the Nokia web I can find out, what release number is the current version?
I think, Nokia should do a better job!
    Best Regards, Oblomow

    Resistance thermometer wiring configurations:
    Two-wire configuration
The simplest resistance thermometer configuration uses two wires. It is only used when high accuracy is not required as the resistance of the connecting wires is always included with that of the sensor leading to errors in the signal. This applies equally to balanced bridge and fixed bridge system.
    Three-wire configuration
In order to minimize the effects of the lead resistances a three wire configuration can be used. Using this method the two leads to the sensor are on adjoining arms, there is a lead resistance in each arm of the bridge and therefore the lead resistance is cancelled out. High quality connection cables should be used for this type of configuration because an assumption is made that the two lead resistances are the same.
    Four-wire configuration
The four wire resistance thermometer configuration even further increases the accuracy and reliability of the resistance being measured. In the diagram above a standard two terminal RTD is used with another pair of wires to form an additional loop that cancels out the lead resistance. The above Wheatstone bridge method uses a little more copper wire and is not a perfect solution. Below is a better alternative configuration four-wire Kelvin connection that should be used in all RTDs. It provides full cancellation of spurious effects and cable resistance of up to 15 Ω can be handled. Actually in four wire measurement the resistance error due to lead wire resistance is zero.

    Hi there..
    Topic says it all.
THe CPU goes to 100% and the computer becomes unusable for 5 minutes, it usually recovers but sometimes it doesn't and it's a hard boot.
