OVI Sync and Multiple Outlook Calendars

I have two MS Outlook calendars at work - one is for professional engagements the other is for private stuff.
In the Nokia PC Suite I was prompted to select which of these would be sync'd to my phone but I can't find how to do this in OVI suite and by default it's syncing to the wrong one (the one on the work server, as opposed to my local calendar)
Can anyone shed any light on how to specify which Outlook calender my phone will sync to?
I'd like to start using the OVI suite - mainly just to remain 'current' - but the calendar sync is a deal-breaker!

As a variant to Ian's question below, I actually want to sync multiple calendars from my Outlook onto my E71.
On my Outlook, I have my calendar and I also subscribe to an internet calendar, which show up nicely layered in different colors on my Outlook calendar page.
On the PC Suite sync setup page I see the 2 calendars from my Outlook but it limits me to selecting ONLY ONE of the calendars for syncing. I would like to be able to select both.
Any ideas out there? It feels like I'm just missing a step, since I can see the calendar choices.

It works for millions of users, you are doing it wrong. Read the directions and follow them exactly, no diversions.
Please try to understand that there is NO sync. iCloud is a server to client Dav system, not a client to client sync system.
How does the desktop tell you that "outlook has been set up to sync"
I would like to know the exact conditions that generate that,

Having trouble syncing and printing Outlook calendars

I use Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista and recently got an iPhone 4s. I installed iCloud and have the following problems:
1.iCloud created 3 calendars: "Calendar" ,"Calendar in iCloud", "Calendar Merge Conflicts in iCloud". They all appear to have the same entries, but some entries are "greyed out" in other calendars. The new entries I make on the PC (which automatically enter in "Calendar") don't upload to iCloud even when I click "refresh iCloud". Those entries don't sync with the iPhone. It appears that only the original group of calendar entries uploaded to iCloud. How can I get it to upload automatically?
2. As a result, I can't get the calendars to print a combined hard copy. No matter which calendar I choose, it misses half of the entries.
Are there some settings I don't know about?

Assuming they play OK in iTunes on the coputer
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Multiple Outlook Calendars - sync to Torch 9800

Hi there,
I'm posting to see if I can find a way to sync multiple outlook calendars with my blackberry. I work in a medical clinic, and everyone has their own calendars which list patients' appointments (set by the admin on her computer). Everyone else has an iPhone, and I have stubbornly refused to switch (I like my blackberry, and I like the security it gives).
Right now, I have set blackberry desktop software to one-way sync the clinic calendar to mine (only my clinic appointments). If I set more than that, it all merges into one calendar. However, my iPhone-toting-coworkers sync it all, then can select any clinician on their phone, and see that person's calendar. Very handy if you get stuck at the hospital and need to see who has room in their schedule to cover for you.
I'm envious.
Surely, I think to myself, BlackBerry must be capable of this. I mean, it's BlackBerry. Master of all things communication and calendaring! Surely my phone can do that! So if anyone can help me view my colleagues calendars on my BB, I'd really appreciate it.

You can only sync the top calendar from your E7 whereas the other two could be modified or deleted and the latter can't be modified or deleted.

I have this problem too, only I now have Firefox 9.0.1.
I don't know what the developers are doing to Firefox recently, but it makes me want to switch to another browser. Please make it work like it always used too. There were never this kind of problems when you were "thinking" about and fully testing each update.

Synchronizing multiple outlook calendars to Iphone 3G

I need to synchronise multiple outlook calendars to an Iphone 3G. When I look in iTunes I can only choose synchronise all calendars and the option select calendars is not available. It's on a Windows 7 64-bits laptop with Office 2010 installed. It worked on a windows 7 32-bits laptop with Office 2010 (or that's what the person is saying). Has anyone a solution for my problem? I have the a similar problem - only I can't actually get the calendar to show up. I've added the account and it's showing Mail and Notes but not Calendar. But I'd like it to show the outlook calendar.

When I try to open Mail I get an error message saying "Cannot get mail. The user name or password for Gmail is incorrect". If I press "settings" it reverts to home page. It may be a bit late for your needs, but there's a sync product for Outlook (an add-in) that will sync public and private folders/calendars. Once you have your items in a mailbox folder, the regular ios sync will bring it to your device. It's called Add2Outlook, it's made by DidItBetter.com Software.
It syncs private and public, mailboxes and folders in any direction. One-way, two-way, read-only or writable. It also works with Office 365 and hosted exchange providers, if that's your situation. It works for calendars, contacts, tasks, email, whatever. It can even sync to PST or between two different Exchange servers.
It installs on your workstation, not on the Exchange server.

My iPhone 3G and Outlook sucessfully synched everything (contacts, calendar, mail accounts, bookmarks, notes) until V 3.0 of the phone software. Then calendar would not synch no matter what. After a couple of hours on the phone with an Apple rep we discovered that when a new user account was set-up in Windows (XP SP 3), and a new instance of Outlook (Office 2003) was opened in that account the Calendar in the new account would sync. However, when the calendar from the old account was imported into the new account (via .pst export / import), it still wouldn't sync. At that point the Apple rep had no more help to offer. After much offline troubleshooting on my own I found a solution that at least worked for me by the following steps:
1) create a new mail account through: Control Panel | Category View | User Accounts | Mail (Add a new account, don't copy the old one)
2) don't know whether this step is necessary, but since the "old" .pst file was 1997-02, I exported / imported it into a 2003 Personal Folders .pst file, and then replaced the .pst file on the "new" mail account with the "updated" .pst file from the "old" mail account.
3) opened the new mail account and exported all Calendar appointments into an Excel file
4) in Calendar view of Outlook selected: View | Arrange By | Current View | By Category, then did an Edit | Select All and deleted all appointments.
5) then using File | Import / Export, imported the Excel file of appointments into Calendar,
6) open iTunes, select Preferences | Devices and Reset Synch History
7) under Info select only the Calendar Sync option and the option to replace the Calendar information on the phone with the new Calendar.
The calendar now properly updates (several regualr updates have since been tried). One small annoyance (but preferable to not syncing) the recurring aspect of any appointment (not the appointment itself) is lost, along with any color formatting, but those are easily fixed up afterward.

Sync iphone to outlook calendar for work but not change how I sync on my home Mac

I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work.
I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.
I also do not want my work email on my iphone.
Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.

Have you never synced your iPhone with iTunes on your computer to transfer music and any other iTunes content from your iTunes library on your computer, or to transfer photos from your computer to your iPhone, etc.?
What I'm referring to is your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer, not any setting on your iPhone.

i am new to the forum and i see numerous people are having issues with outlook. can anyone help me please as i have not found a solution to my problem. i am trying to sync my new z30 phone to my outlook calendars and when i go through the process in blackberry link and try to add calendars in the configure tab under the calendar sync option there it doesnt show any calendars in there to add. previously i had a z30 that i could have all the calendars synced to my phone but i dont have this phone anymore. anyone please help!!!!

If contacts are available with a supported application on a computer and with your iPhone, you should be provided a merge prompt with the first sync of this data.
In regards to iTunes content, an iPhone can be synced or manually managed with an iTunes library on a single computer, but you can sync contacts, calendar events, and Safari bookmarks with the supported applications on multiple computers.
For your iTunes sync preferences with the computer you will be syncing contacts and calendar events only, do not select sync music or anything else under the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on that computer.
