OWA Calendar URLs?

Exchange 2013
I am trying to share a Room Resource Calendar on our Intranet.
None of the samples I have found work.
I have tried:
https://tg50.redactedoup.com:90/owa/[email protected]/?exsvurl=1&cmd=contents&f=Calendar&view=Weekly
https://tg50.redactedoup.com:90/owa/[email protected]/?cmd=contents&module=calendar&view=weekly
https://tg50.redactedoup.com:90/owa/[email protected]/?cmd=contents&fpath=calendar
https://tg50.redactedoup.com:90/owa/[email protected]/?cmd=contents&f=Calendar&view=Weekly
Each time, I get back:

Is this possible in 2013?  I have been doing it in Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010.
What is the new URL string?

Can't be done, or wrong forum?
Below is what we have on our Intranet now, and I need to reproduce viewing Calendars in Exchange 2013.
We just give reviewer permission to the Calendar folder and can access directly.

  • OWA Calendar not showing month view in non-IE browsers

I've got a user who can't see the Month view on his OWA calendar. He's the only user complaining - Month view loads fine on my Exchange account across all browsers and operating systems.
I can see the Month view on his account when I log in with IE, but not with any other browser, Windows and Mac.
Any ideas? I'm at a total loss here, I've been in and deleted recurring appointments, but nothing else looks out of the ordinary. Everything else works, it just won't load the month view in non-IE browsers and he's the only one affected.
    Any clues appreciated, thank you!

    Hi,
The Microsoft OWA web interface has two versions: OWA Premium and OWA Light. OWA Premium which can achieve calendar month view is only accessible when using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser.
If you’re using any other browser, we can use OWA Light. In light version, the OWA feature is not rich like OWA Premium. As for Calendar view, there is only daily view in OWA light.
About Calendar view in third-party browser, please contact the third-party browser support for more helps.

  • How to login owa using URL embedding username and password?

    Hi, guys
Whether can users login O365 owa using url embedding username and password? Such as  https://mail.mycompany.com/owa/....username=myalias...pwd=password... ?
    I found a post http://blog.leederbyshire.com/2012/10/12/how-to-login-to-owa-2010-by-passing-credentials-in-the-url-querystring/
    But it doesn't work.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I don't think we can login Office 365 OWA using url embedding username and password.
The post you found may be a way to login OWA 2010. As mentioned in the post you provided, we need to use code to support with the URL
    https://yourserver.yourdomain.com/owa/?un=yourusername&pw=yourpassword#sthash.cuiZTz5Y.dpuf, not just a simple
    URL.
There is a location in the blog you mentioned:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\Owa\auth\logon.aspx
It's a location on a computer which installed Exchange server. As stated in the blog, we need to insert the code into the logon.aspx
file and then login OWA with the URL.
However, for Office 365 OWA which uses a cloud based server, we can do nothing to change the logon.aspx file for Office 365 OWA. That's why I don't think we can do the trick.

  • OWA calendar Items not showing up

After the latest cumulative update OWA calendar items aren't showing up. I don't use OWA that often so it's hard to determine when this happened so I am assuming that it was after the last cumulative update. Another coworker OWA errors out when he tries
to access his calendar. Calendars work fine from Outlook.
    any ideas?

    Hello,
Can you login OWA on the CAS server and see whether the issue still persists?
Please also let us know the error message when you failed to access the calendar in OWA.

  • Calendar url's are now "show in contacts"

Calendar url's are now "show in contacts"
October 20 2014 Early this morning I checked my calendar and my URLs were OK. I even used a few of them. After updating the iPhone to iOS 8.1 at noon all my calendar URLs are now "show in contacts". Every single URL in the calendar has changed. What happened? Is this another new neat feature in ios8.1/yosemite 10.10 software? I was not asked during the update to iOS 8.1 to change the URLs to a Contacts link. Now I have to change all the URLs to notes in the calendar dates. Fun…
The URLs in the iPhone 6 are OK, but I don’t use the iPhone for opening URLs.
Also, even the calendar 'Show in Contacts" is not working. Calendar entry finds the first contact when i press the ‘show in contacts’ but calendar does not find any others. Close/open both calendar and contacts apps and calendar finds only the very first entry again. Another neat feature and fun process. Back to manual searching in contacts.
These are the latest versions i have on my iMac
    Contacts = 9.0 (1498)
    calendar = 8.0 (2026)
    OSX 10.10 (14A389)
    Safari 8.0 (10800.1.25)
    iphone 6 (8.1 (12B411)

I just added apple.com to the URL section of an even in Calendar. And hotmail.com to the Notes section. Via the Mac.
Both on the Mac, running Yosemite, and iPhone 5 running 8.1, open up in Safari.
Then I added speediest.net (Notes) and eBay.com (URL)  via the iPhone 5. Again, both open Safari on both devices.
Where is the "Show In Contacts" showing up?

  • OWA Calendar want to display a link to other users shared calendar that was created in Sharepoint at login

Site is using Office 365.  They do not have the actual Office apps on their PC's, they access everything via OWA.  (sorry if I did not use correct nomenclature).
Users currently access calendars etc, by accessing the site's SharePoint site after login to the Microsoft Portal (https://login.microsoftonline.com).  Then going to "site contents", and then
accessing the calendar that was created.  Just a generic calendar that they use to schedule a conference room.  They log into O365 Portal, and just drill down.
What the users' WANT to be able to do, is access the calendar off of their initial OWA screen that they get when they log into the portal.  At worst, just go down to "calendars" break it out, and click on "conference room calendar"
or whatever.  I tried to do a copy and paste of the link from the page that has the calendar displayed, into a new link, but that did not bring up anything.
So, to recap, the site is not using AD, they are all on generic Win7 and Win8 PC's that are not in a domain.
They do not have Office on their computers.  They use OWA for everything.
They do not want to drill down to calendars etc after login to access these resources, they want to be able to just click on a link on their OWA main default page they get when they initially log into the O365 portal, and get what they want.  Not
drill down to the SharePoint shared calendar, which is only four clicks, but they don't want to have to do it. Whay want "ease of access".
    Thanks for your help.
    Rick

You can move the iTunes folder to a separate drive on your pc an then configure each account to use this drive / folder as iTunes library ... The problem is, that iTunes by default stores everything in your personal music folder which is separate for each user account in windows (and by default is on "C" drive).
I create a separate partition on every pc/laptop (and map a drive name) where I store music, videos and other mass data. This will also keep the "C" drive small, which is backed up from time to time and so my backup is also small.

  • Question about publishing Calendar and URLs

Hi everyone, have a question that hopefully knows the answer too. I have been researching on how to publish individual user calendars to external users.
I have seem to come across 2 different ways to do this
    1) is to right-click on my calendar in OWA, then I select the external recipient and it emails the recipient a long url similar to:
    http://webmail.mydomain.com/owa/calendar/[email protected]/4d9f8b52769b4ddca3e51f6f82d01b6f1902995877095312719/S-1-8-2306188436-3125773453-2945785077-3615357645/reachcalendar.html
    2) Within Outlook 2013, I click on "publish calendar" and it takes me to an ECP url for my exchange server where I can select how many months I want to share, the permission they can see, etc... and then it provides me at the bottom with two links
    like:
    http://webmail.mydomain.com/owa/calendar/[email protected]/Calendar/calendar.html
My question is what are the differences between these two methods and also, both of these urls will NOT work unless I change them to HTTPS instead, how I can modify the links that get emailed out? I did see for the 2nd method above I can set it using the
"PublishedCalendarUrl" in Powershell, but that is impractical for a lot of users.
    thanks!

    Hi BMIG,
    Please re-start IIS for testing.
If not working unfortunately, please use IIS Manager to simplify the OWA url and force redirection to SSL.
    Steps as below:
    1. Start IIS Manager.
    2. Expand the local computer, expand Sites, and then click
    Default Web Site.
    3. At the bottom of the Default Web Site Home pane, click Features View if this option isn't already selected.
    4. In the IIS section, double-click HTTP Redirect.
    5. Select the Redirect requests to this destination check box.
    6. Type the absolute path of the /owa virtual directory. For example, type
    https://mail.contoso.com/owa.
    7. Under Redirect Behavior, select the Only redirect requests to content in this directory (not subdirectories) check box.
    8. In the Status code list, click Found (302).
    9. In the Actions pane, click Apply.
    10. Click Default Web Site.
    11. In the Default Web Site Home pane, double-click SSL Settings.
    12. In SSL Settings, clear Require SSL.
    13. For the new settings to take effect, open a Command Prompt window, and then type
    iisreset /noforce to restart IIS.

  • Exchange 2010 Sharing a calendar using OWA prompts for Credentials

    Hi,
We have a mixed Exchange 2003/Exchange 2010 environment while we migrate our mailboxes over to Exchange 2010.
We use code that is used to connect to meeting room calendars still on Exchange 2003and then display the information on big tv screen at the entrance to the building.
An example of the code is:
    R1calURL = "http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2010/management-administration/managing-internet-calendar-sharing-exchange-server-2010-service-pack-1-part1.html to
    try and get it working.
The code then gets various other pieces of information from the calendar which is used to display the correct information.
I have a couple of questions:
    1) Is this method still valid or should we be using a different way of acheiving this (EWS or Internet Calendar Sharing?)
    2) We use forms based authentication for OWA.  I have had a look at Internet Calendar Sharing but when I enter the URL for the shared mailbox I am always being asked to enter credentials.  I have configured the mailbox I am connecting to so default
has reviewer and anonymous has reviewer permissions.  I have also configured the OWA external URL the same as the Internal URL and created a new anonymous sharing policy in the EMC and applied this to the shared mailbox.  I used the following link
http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2010/management-administration/managing-internet-calendar-sharing-exchange-server-2010-service-pack-1-part1.html to try and get it working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Matt

    Hi Matt,
If the shared calendar is opened from OWA directly from a URL, please configure the Outlook Web App virtual directory to use Integrated Windows authentication. Integrated Windows authentication lets users who've already logged on by using
their Active Directory account use Outlook Web App without having to enter their credentials again. For more information about it, please refer to:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232199(v=exchg.141).aspx
To configure it, please do the following steps:
    1. Open EMC, expand Microsoft Exchange On-Premises (<ServerName>).
    2. Expand Server Configuration, and click on
    Client Access.
    3. Select the desired Client Access server on the right panel, and double click on
owa (Default Web Site) on the Outlook Web App tab.
    4. In Authentication tab, select Use one or more standard authentication methods and check Integrated Windows authentication.
    5. Click Apply.
Please note the warning to restart IIS service and change the corresponding configuration for ECP virtual directory in the same web site.

  • Share calendar with Outlook

    Hi there,
I currently share an iCloud calendar with my wife. We call this our 'Family Diary' and this is what we use to put non work events in that effect us both, ie if one of us has a weekend meet up with friends, or one of the kids has a party to go to etc. I'd like to be able to have the diary avaialble on my Mac at work, but in Outlook.
I have a number of other subscribed calendars that I have been able to set up via OWA, but the iCloud one is being awkward.
At the moment I have the Shared Calendar set up to share with my wife (she is also an iCloud user). When I go to iCloud on the web I check the box that says 'make public' and am presented with a URL. I've kept the 'share with other iCloud users' checked, and my wife's e-mail address is still there. But when I set up a new calendar in OWA the URL does not pull any data in. This is the same set up as other subscribed calendars, all of which work OK.
Any ideas as to what's going wrong?
    Thanks

The following manual workaround seems to function:
Configure your Apple Mail client to connect to your Outlook/Exchange account
Select Apple Calendar as the default calendar
Configure iCloud as you normally would
At whatever interval you choose open Apple Mail and synch your mail/appointments.
    Shazam!!! iCloud is automatically updated

  • Unable to access ECP/OWA

I installed Exchange 2013 on 2 brand new Server 2012 virtual machines, one with the mailbox role and another with the CAS roles. The installation completed without errors but I cannot log on to the ECP (or OWA for that matter). As I enter my user/pass, the
password field goes blank and a number of event log entries are added (see below).
I'm using the default administrator account (also Enterprise Admin, Domain Admin and member of the Organization Management security groups). I mail-enabled the account with enable-mailuser + enable-mailbox. I can execute Exchange Powershell cmdlets when
logged on with this account, so security looks good.
The problem is OWA/ECP which consistenly logs the following errors when I attempt to access the OWA:

I have spent hours wading through log files and posts, and cannot get my head around this one.

    Hi Simon,
I am trying this on the CAS server. Per your email I attempted the same on the mailbox server using

  • Shared Calendars Exchange 2010 for iPhone & iPad

I have spent much time reading posts and articles on setting up Exchange 2010 SP2 so that Users can edit and view shared calendars with their iPad's & iPhones.
However I have hit a stumbling block, too many way's and too much information on configuration.  So I have laid out below the commands I intend to use so we publish *.ics which believe is the best way to share calendars with ios systems though I am having
problems with details in the commands.
If anyone has already done this or can provide some examples as I don't use the com shell that often for exchange.
    Step 1:
PRE-REQUISITE: OWA External URL must be set
    set-owavirtualdirectory –Identity <CAS> -ExternalURL <externalURLforCAS>
    - What is "externalURLforCAS"????
    Step 2:
PRE-REQUISITE: Mailbox webproxy must be set
set-exchangeserver –identity “servername” –InternetWebProxy ”webproxy URL”
    - What is ”webproxy URL” ????
    Step 3:
Admin must enable Internet access to exchange published calendars
    set-owavirtualdirectory –Identity <CAS> -CalendarPublishingEnabled$true
    Step 4:
Admin must enable sharing policy for Internet Publishing
    set-sharingpolicy –Identity <PolicyName> -Domains “Anonymous:<accesslevel>”

    Hi,
ActiveSync syncs only the default calendar. We are not able to sync shared calendar in Iphone/Ipad. Your understanding would be appreciated.
Just for your reference, you may take a try with some third party tool:

I'm trying to subscribe to the web/wiki calendar in iCal. I understand this will be only (that's fine). I've found the page in the manual showing how to subscribe using port 8008 (I'm actually using 8443 because of SSL). However I constantly get an access denied for this login and password message, even though I'm using the correct information. I've been able to subscribe to the Blog and Wiki feeds, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Any ideas?

Did you forward port "8008" (or better 8443) on your firewall? If you did not do that then you do not get through the firewall and you will not be able to reach your remote calender. It did happen to me!
Be sure to use the following format in the calendar URL:
    http://servernameor_ipnumber:8008/calendars/groups/groupname/calendar/

  • How to view "Location" calendars on iPhone 3.0?

Our iCal server has "Location" calendars (set up with Directory.app) for things like room reservations and "vacation" calendars.
These calendars are visible as delegate calendars in iCal only.
I can set up my iPhone to view my personal calendar as a CalDAV calendar (not "syncing" the calendar via iTunes) by just adding the calendar URL to the iPhone and specifying my server address and account/password -- works as expected.
But I can't figure out a way to add these "Location" calendars to my iPhone -- adding the Location calendar URL under my name isn't working -- it seems to accept what I enter, but never shows in the Calendar app like my personal calendar does.
Thoughts on this? Has anybody got this to work?

What exactly is the "Location" calendar? Is it an actual .ics calendar? Or is it a list of locations in directory? If it's not actually a calendar, then it won't show up in the Calendar application. If you want to connect to your LDAP server, you can do that, and it will show up in Address Book, but I don't think locations will be seen. I have not confirmed this though.

  • Cannot add icloud public calendar to outlook

I work and live in a mixed Mac/PC environment.  The PCs are Windows 7 professional with Outlook 2010.  The Macs are Yosemite.  I would like to be able to subscribe to a public icloud calendar on one of the PCs.  We could do this a week ago.
Now when we add the calendar it crashes Outlook.  Furthermore, I noticed that the calendar address no longer ends in .ics which Outlook requires.
The new icloud control panel crashed Outlook as well.
I tried joining the private calendar and it does not show up in Outlook either.
Is the new icloud interface not ready for prime time?
    Any solutions or work arounds?
Thank you in advance for any help,
    Debbie

My Mac's not yet on Yosemite, so Yosemite's not the culprit.
An iCloud calendar populated from an iPad that I previously shared with my Outlook 2010 client on Windows 7 without error caused Outlook to crash, when Outlook initiated a sync attempt with my subscribed calendars, today (13th November 2014).  Removing the calendar subscription allowed Outlook to run without crashing. Re-subscribing using the iCloud-provided public calendar URL once again cause Outlook 2010 to crash.
My Windows 7 PC and Office 2010 are current with all updates as of 13th November 2014.
