OWA iView configuration

Hi,
I'm trying to configure Outlook Web Access iViews in EP 7.0
http://<server_hostname>:<port>/Exchange/User.UserID/Inbox/?cmd=contents
In the above URL Template im replacing it with my server name.
But Page cannot be displayed error is prompting.
i cud access OWA by sepeartely in the browser using
http://<servername>/Exchange
Please guide wat port number shud be given in the url.

OWA iViews and EP - configuration problem

Hi All,
since EP60 SP2 P3 HF3 there are several OWA iViews under
Collaboration folder. According to SAP note 739911 alias of portal
user and exchange user (or exchange mailbox) MUST be identical to
connect to OWA.
Using Application Integrator "HOW TO..." I've tried to break this
condition above. But it does not work OK.
1. I've created Exchange system with UIDPWD logon method
2. I've mapped portal login with exchange login (in my case these are
not identical...)
In OWA iView Calendar:
3. I've set property system to above created system
4. I've set property URL Template to
http://owa.orion.myorg.org:81/Exchange/<Authentication>
5. I've set property "URL template fraction for user mapping" to <MappedUser>/Calendar/?cmd=contents
Test user has: Portal login: test ; exchange login:test_exchange
Preview is blank. But...when I saw properties of page link to OWA was
correct:
http://owa.orion.myorg.org:81/Exchange/test_exchange/Calendar.
When I copied this link to new window -> result was OK.

I think I've found the solution.
1) Download the com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap
2) Inside .par file try to find:
    PORTAL-INF\portalapp.xml
3) Add extra lines:
     
     <property name="RequestMethod" value="GET">
        <property name="personalization" value="none"/>
        <property name="inheritance" value="final"/>
        </property>
under G E N E R I C part of file.
4) Find PORTAL-INF\Property\Generic\SSO-Layer.properties
5) Add at the end of file extra lines:
RequestMethod
   #RequestMethod = <no value>
   RequestMethod.type=select[GET,POST]
   RequestMethod.default=GET
6) Using Support>Administration Console upload .par file again into EP.
7) Check the result of OWA iView preview.
In my case it helped!

Portal OWA iView logon popup issue

Hello,
I have configured web outlook (owa) access via iView and everything is working fine, except that the user is seeing logon popup every time when the new browser session is started. Our portal is only used within intranet environment. Is there way to suppress this logon popup?

We have looked at the logs on exchange server and see the following info:

15:59:28 9028/9248 E getAccountFromCookie: Ticket is NOT valid

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

OWA iview

Hello all,
When accessing the Outlook Web Access(OWA)2003 by url, it works fine. But when I tried to create the url iview and pointing to the same owa url, it does not work. Did I miss any other configuration? can i integrate the whole OWA into the portal using just the url instead of single component like inbox, calendar ect...?

Configuration of Outlook Web Access iViews
iViews that are created from the generic template of the SAP Application Integrator component can be used for quickly integrating the inbox, calendar, task, and contacts folders on the Microsoft Exchange Server. You can integrate this iView into a SAP Enterprise Portal framework page.
Proceed as follows to configure an Outlook Web Access iView.
1.     Select New From Portal Archive and then iview.
2.     Select the SAP Enterprise Portal application com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap and choose Next.
3.     On the next screen, choose Generic and Next.
4.     On the iView Wizard, enter the iView Name and ID for the new namespace, and choose Next.
5.     Select Open for editing when wizard completes, and choose Finish.
6.     In the Property Editor for Property Category choose Show All.
7.     Scroll down and set the iView property URL template as URL to your target application. You configure the following link as follows:
http://<server_hostname>:<port>/Exchange
8.     Replace <server_hostname> and <port> with the Microsoft Exchange server name and port.
9.     Save the iView

I installed Bussiness package for CRM 4.0. when configuring iview of eslaes and etc.. getting eror like this:

Team Explorer iView Configuration

I am trying to configure the Team Explorer. I downloaded and installed the team explorer from OSS note 836380 (version 60.1), and downloaded the documentation from OSS note 828767 and configured accordingly. My question is this: it appears that the only supported NAVID entry(view v_twpc_nav) is key ORGEH (and eval path ORGEH); regardless of what is entered into the NavGroup or Navid iView properties. Is there any way to have multiple entries in v_twpc_nav and v_twpc_v for the Team Explorer? OSS note 828767 appears to indicate that only one NAVID (and therefore, one view) is supported.

AT one point when I configured the NAVID, I set-up three of them:
ORGEH with the view O_PROF ( org. units)
Z_1 with view o_SALL (all employees for the org. unit selected)
Z_2 with view O_SDIR. (directly reporting employees for org. unit selected fine.)
It worked fine. (This was in our sandbox). Now in our dev. environment, it just brings back empty tables with no employee or org. unit info..

CRM Factsheet Iview Configuration....

Hello,
I am configuring CRM Factsheet Iview in EP 7.0.
I have created an iview with the Factsheet Iview Template
"CRM PDV based Factsheet Iview", which has parameter
"Infoblock".
I have specified value of the Infoblock parameter for the same but when i try to preview or assigned that iview to user then in display it shows me the "Select the Business Object". It doesn't show any contents for those Iviews.
Is there any other parameter required or what could be the reason???
Anybody have any idea regarding this please reply !

For which business role this factsheet appears presently?
Just to give you pointer "Account factsheet customizing is defined under sm34 view "CRMVC_BUIL_PRT", in this customizing PDF smart forms and corresponding factsheet handler classes are registered against PFCG roles, which inturn assigned to business roles.
there could be similar view available for your requirement where we can maintain factsheet based on roles.

UWL iview configuration

Hi everybody,
is it possible to have 2 universal worklist iview with two different configurations but related to the same system?
In other word I would like to have an iview displaying only 3 task per pages, and another one dysplaying all the tasks. Is it possible?

Yes it is possible to configure so.
(a) Each user could personalize the UWL display to display how many items he wants to see.
or
(b)You could configure a UWL View (<View> tag in the UWL configuration XML) and there specify what item types should be displayed and how many rows should be displayed and make this UWL View visible to those special users (may be roles)
It does take a while to get user to UWL lingo :)-

HttpServlet as PortalComponent - How to access iView Configuration

we did a HTTP Servlet class as a PortalComponent and deployed it as a par-File.
Now we would like to define configuration parameters in an iView based on this component and get access to these parameters in the Servlet Class. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to reach the iView ConfigurationProfile from the Servlet.

Ok. Let me tell you my scenario:
I have a java web application in which I need to read a configuration file(WebAgent.conf) that has the reference of another configuration file(SmHost.conf). I am placing both these configuration files in the <root-dir> of the application along with other jsp and html files.
I am specifying the path for WebAgent.conf as “/WebAgent.conf” in my AuthenticateUser java class and in WebAgent.conf, the reference to SmHost.conf is given as “/SmHost.conf”.
I am copying the content of the all the files for your reference below:

Configuring iviews related to appraisals in ESS

Hi-
We are using ECC 5 and SP15.
I am currently working on Appraisals in ESS/MSS.
There is a template that is configured by the Functional person that determines what input fields, check boxes, and other display elements are rendered on the portal under appraisals in ESS/MSS.
This Template is interacted with by the BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT. I am trying to modify that applicationso that i can change the layout of the elements in the template.
I was a little successful in changing the layout .
There is already an iview configured in MSS that corresponds to the appraisals.
But there is no iview that is configured to the ESS that relates to Appraisals.
I need to configure those iviews, in ESS, that corresponds to appraisals.
So the questions i have are:
1. What are the iviews that need to be configured in ESS, that corresponds to appraisals.
2. how do i configure those iviews.
3. When a user clicks a link in ESS or MSS, ultimately the call is going to the HAP_DOCUMENT. So is there anything that i need to do, so as to make the HAP_DOCUMENT understand whether the call is coming from ESS or MSS.
Help will be really appreciated

You may get some help from this Are there Appraisal for ESS.
As of now, there are no ESS iViews for Appraisals. So you have 2 options:
1. Copy the MSS iView, change the View Group and use it in MSS (functional effort, with very little technical work in copying the iView)
2. Copy the BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT and make modifications in this (mostly technical effort)

Excel service and OWA - getting ERROR while trying to open/edit Excel documents

We have configured SharePoint 2013 with Excel Service and OWA (Office Web Apps).
After configuring, we are able to view/edit Word or PowerPoint documents from the browser (as OWA is configured). But we are getting errors while trying to open/edit Excel documents.
We are not able to view/edit the excel workbook from the browser (through OWA).
To open the excel in the browser, decision has to be taken at the farm level on what to be used – Excel Service or OWA Server? Is it possible to do setting at site collection level?

BW Report iview and SSO w/Logon Tickets

I have some BW Report iviews configured which work great for me however I can't get them to work for any other endusers. I have administrator access and they do not. The error they get is;
Unable to lookup System 'aBWP100'. Please check the system object and the alias..
aBWP100 is our BW server name. I searched for OSS notes but didn't find anything. Any suggestions?

You need to make sure that the other users have access to BW system and also since you are using SSO w/Logon Tickes, they must have same userids and passwords in portal and bw system.

Hiding "Personalize View" in My Tasks iView

Hi,
I'm looking to hide the "Personalize View" button on the My tasks iView supplied by SAP on EP6 SP12. This option does not appear to be available as a normal iView configuration option.

This iView uses the "Task Explorer" Layout set. I have been playing with resource renderers for a while now, but I'm not totally clear on how I might use this method to get rid of the button.

that was a bit hard stuff, I hope you'll appreciate the solution...
Under com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl/private/classes/com/sap/netweaver/bc/uwl/core/config/xml/uwl.collaboration.xml,
delete within all "TaskView" <View's within the <Actions> part: <Action reference="personalize"/>
(Maybe also within other views, as you like/need it.)
You'll need to restart the portal.
(And obviously, you'll have to change some extra layout settings, as the pure result is not that nice .)

Exchange 2013, multiple IIS OWA sites with different authentication

I have an exchange 2013 server with Client Access and Mailbox server installed. The server has an second ip address which I have bound an additional IIS site to. The additional IIS site is named ExchangeExternalFBA.
The default web site is configured for basic and windows authentication with:
Set-EcpVirtualDirectory -identity "ecp (default web site)" -FormsAuthentication:$false
Set-owavirtualdirectory -identity "owa (Default Web Site)" -FormsAuthentication:$false -WindowsAuthentication:$true -BasicAuthentication:$true
Then a new ECP and OWA are configured with:
New-ecpVirtualDirectory -WebSiteName "ExchangeExternalFBA"
New-OwaVirtualDirectory -WebSiteName "ExchangeExternalFBA"
Set-owavirtualdirectory -identity "owa (ExchangeExternalFBA)" -LogonFormat FullDomain -FormsAuthentication:$true -WindowsAuthentication:$false -BasicAuthentication:$true
Set-EcpVirtualDirectory -identity "ecp (ExchangeExternalFBA)" -FormsAuthentication:$true
Then I perform an iisreset.
My problem is that then when I try to access the ECP or OWA on the default website, it loads forms authentication! The ECP or OWA on the ExchangeExternalFBA web site works correctly and also loads forms authentication.
If I run...
get-owavirtualdirectory "owa (ExchangeExternalFBA)"
then it returns:

and perform another iisreset then when I try to access the ECP or OWA on the default website it loads correctly. But then the forms based authentication on the ExchangeExternalFBA website can no longer log in, it does not accept the user name and password.
If I then disable and enable FBA on the ExchangeExternalFBA website then it works but forms based authentication takes over the default web site again!
Whether I perform the above from the gui or from powershell it does not make a difference, the same behaviour is observed. Changing the logontype on the FBA does not make a difference.
This has been tested on exchange 2013 cu1 and cu2.
Similar(if not identical until they get sidetracked) issue reported in http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/9fcd360f-6658-4940-add7-2f13265cf86b/multiple-owa-sites-on-a-single-server-2012-with-exchange-2013-mailbox-cas.
This worked fine in outlook 2007 and 2010, why now do my virtual directories break each other?
I can reproduce the issue on a test exchange 2013 I built in dev.
Is this a bug or are you no longer meant to host different forms of authentication on a single cas?
I'm mostly interested to see if this works for other people and why it no longer seems to work in 2013, so please no questions; 'why do you want 2 different forms of authentication'.

After this there has been no change in behaviour. After the iisreset, forms have again hijacked the default web site and re-setting the authentication on the default web site removes the forms but breaks the ability to sign in to the forms based page on the
ExchangeExternalFBA web site again.
Note. '-Role Frontend' did not work. It showed the error:
Cannot process argument transformation on parameter 'Role'. Cannot convertvalue "frontend" to type
"Microsoft.Exchange.Management.SystemConfigurationTasks.VirtualDirectoryRole".
Error: "Unable to match the identifier name frontend to a valid enumerator name. Specify one of the following enumerator names and try again:

Running get-help New-OwaVirtualDirectory -detailed shows the correct usage would be '-Role ClientAccess'?
-Role <ClientAccess | Mailbox>
The Role parameter specifies the configuration that should be used
when the virtual directory is created. The following are the values
that can be used with this parameter:
* FrontEnd Configures the virtual directory for use on a Client Access
server.
* BackEnd Configures the virtual directory for use on a Mailbox server.
