OWA stopped working on Exchange 2010
Outlook connected to Exchange sync and Activesync work fine.
Series of events – Exchange service stops without reason, then Receive connector disappears, after that Send connector disappears; now QWA does not work. Between each event – a day or two interval.
In OWA folder there are 3 subfolders with different versions - 14.1.421.2 (currently active), 14.1.438.0 etc. There is no access online to OWA now. Earlier there was a message of missing theme – I’ve copied theme from later version folder, now there is no connection
and no message.
What is the best way to fix OWA, or to delete existing and install new OWA with default settings without uninstall Exchange server.
I can't access using IP address.
Everything was working previously, and then just problems started one after another. Windows update in the middle - I was trying to uninstall, but problem started before first windows update. Another probable cause - Backup Exec 2012 agent - I've cancelled
it for now.
There were two roll-ups in ththese windows updates. I was able to uninstall one of them (8), but roll-up 7 is unable to uninstall.
It is just a blank page now.
When I try using IP address, the error is

No errors for OWA in Management Console, can't find any explaining events in Event Viewer.
The main question is - how can I get rid of multiple versions in c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\Owa\ and create something workable

Have you tried access OWA on CAS server via https://localhost/owa?
If not, please check IIS log and see the related error message.

Just can't get it working . double click the registry key and verify the keys are in the registry.
Exmon is installed on a cas server with its own role.

I followed the Using_EXmon doc file and got this error.
Exchange is not running on this machine!
To view an ETL file, pass the filenam as a command line arguement.
I ran it as administrator and still does not work.

Auto Brightness stopped working on my 2010 MacBook Pro

The auto brightness stopped working on my 2010 MacBook Pro (2,4ghz, 4GB). It doesn't do anything anymore. I've tried restarting. I've also cleaned the surface on the sensor to make sure there isn't any dust sitting on it. And yes, it's auto-brightness is actived. I've also tried deactivating it and reactivating it. I'm running MacOS X 10.6.4. since it was released but I've had this problem for only the last couple of days.
What can I do ?
Any help is welcome.

Hi Linhtran, in regards to your iphone charger acting up its sounds similar to what happened with my macbook I decided to go to a different apple store and ask the same question the man working there said that it was highly unlikely to get two duds in a row I showed him the receipt I got from paying for them and he set up a refund and then looked at my computer and charger he said it was possible my computer was responsible for shorting them out he then took my computer in for testing and thus this was the problem and so far its been working well, I suggest going to your local apple store and telling them what's been happening and if they keep giving you the same answer and still nothings working try taking it to another store, or it could possibly be a electrical problem at your home, the reason I'm thinking this is because I know that apple integrated some kind of block on there chargers to stop high levels of electricity getting to your phone and stuffing it up so if its working in your car that would make sense because a car has a consistent amount of electricity whereas in a house or apartment building you don't know what could be happening with the wires I would try getting an adapter for your country and trying that in the meantime (considering that adapters are built for the specific purpose of converting the volts of electricity to match your equipment) and in the long term getting an electrician to come and check it out, an easy way to know wether this is happening is to see if any of your other stuff (lamps, computers ect) are having the same problem. Exchange OWA stopped Working.

Our Exchange stopped working after I made some changes to the Remote access and the VPN Connection.
When i try to Open exchange management console I get his error:

I have had problems with my

names accepted (will call it firstdomain.com and seconddomain.com) but only one is in certificate (firstdomain.com).
The issue is - when user with default email @seconddomain.com try to set “Out Of Office” from outlook (2010 with all service
packs and updates) he is getting “ Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later” where
setting it from webmail works fine and setting it from outlook for users with @firstdomain.com reply address works fine.
we have both internal and external urls for all virtual directories set to external
host address (https://mail.firstdomain.com
  etc). All the users are on intranet with local ip subnets (sites connected via vpns ), all the routing is in place and DNS points to correct ip addresses.
Autodiscover works fine (tested in outlook ) and giving correct address for OOF link
( https://mail.firstdomain.com/ews/exchange.asmx)
wich opens fine if entered into address bar in IE so its NOT AN AUTODISCOVER issue .

Last thing - we are using proxy server and with proxy off it works fine although all
possible exchange server hosts/domains/ip addresses excluded from proxy.
Aside from obvious question - what can be wrong and what to test next, another question
is - how can I check/monitor setting OOF on server side (log files etc)?

According to your description, I understand that Outlook client with second domain name cannot use OOF setting and get an error “Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable.” However OWA works fine.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether all account or some special user experience this question.
Would you please try to reconfigure Outlook profile in other Computer, Outlook version and return the results?

OWA still lands at Exchange 2010 for users migrated from Exchange 2010 to 2013

I never had any issues with OWA redirection for a few users that I migrated from Exchange 2010-2013 initially. For users that I am migrating in the past few days, the OWA 2013 is landing on Exchange 2010 despite the mailbox being successfully migrated to
Exchange 2013.
Troubleshooting:
1. I have restarted the IIS Services
2. I have restarted MSExchangeOWAAppPool.
3. I have also checked the homeMDB attribute of the 2013 migrated user with the Exchange 2013 database.
I would really appreciate if anyone could share their experiences on similar issues.

I have checked it, the migration status is completed. In regard to the namespaces, both CAS 2010 and 2013 are set to mail.domain.com; CAS 2013 is the internet facing. I have also checked the internal access for OWA, it's the same scenario. Migrating them
back to 2010 and 2013 won't resolve the issue in my case, because the issue persists for every new user that I am migrating.
I recently found the following when I login with a user who is not effected and then logout:
1. Login in back with the affected user without closing the browser or clearing the cache, it lands at CAS 2013 OWA.
2. However, I get the below listed error message when I logout.
Your request couldn't be completed.
Click here to continue working.
This may have occurred for security reasons or because your session timed out.

First, I would like to confirm the following questions:
1. Does the issue occur on certain user mailbox via OWA or each user mailbox?
2. Which OWA folder’s email cannot be deleted, Inbox, Sent Items or each folder?
3. Which version of operating system is installed on the client machine, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7?
At this stage, I suggest you temporarily disable firewall and anti-spam for a test. If the emails still cannot be removed via OWA, please refer to the following article
and use isinteg tool to check and repair Information Store.

Droid frg22d update stops syncing with exchange 2010

We have exchange 2010 SP1 running. When some of the droid users received the 2.2 software build FRG22D it stops syncing with exchange. I have build FRG01B and it works fine, I hope they don't push FRG22D to my phone. HAs anyone else had this issue? Has Verizon recognized this issue. It is going to be major as more phones upgrade and run on Exchange 2010 SP1.

I did a hard reset and that didn't fix my issue so i wouldn't suggest doing a hard reset.

ICal stops syncing with Exchange 2010

I have a few users with Macbooks, syncing iCal with the company server Exchange 2010. All of them work fine apart from one... I can setup the Exchange account as normal, and all events are correctly synced. After a few days, iCal stops syncing and I got a message "Go offline, revert to server, try again". At this point, the only workaround is to delete the account, and recreate it with the same settings... Then iCal works fine for a few days and again.
This server is working fine with iPhones, Android, Outlook 2011 (Mac), Outlook 2010 (Windows)...
Anyone facing the same issue ? Any idea ?

What is the best way to get activesync to work on Exchange 2010 with co-existing Exchange 2003?

I currently have all my mailboxes on my Exchange 2003 server and I introduced my first Exchange 2010 server into the same environment so they are running co-existent. The mailflow is functioning properly so now I need to test out the activesync. From
what I've read, you have to create a SSL certificate with SAN on the Exchange 2010 server and create a legacy.domain.com name to point to the Exchange 2003 server. Then replace out the existing SSL certificate on the Exchange 2003 server with the
new one that was created for the Exchange 2010 server. However, my question is that if this does not work could I easily revert back to the original settings where Exchange 2003 server is doing the activesync instead of Exchange 2010? That way
I would not disrupt activesync from working.

The legacy url is not important for activesync, but:
Enable Integrated Windows authentication on the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync virtual directory on the
Exchange 2003 back-end server

once you point your external url for active sync at your 2010 it should proxy the 2003 active sync

Scan to Email from VPN sites not working on Exchange 2010

       I have Exchange 2010 SP1 with HCAS array installed in the organization. We have site offices connected through site to site VPN. All our outlook clients are working fine in the sites. We have MFP printers in both Head
office and site offices. HO scanners are working fine for Scan to email (Internal recepients), but site offices scanners are able to send the email without any attachment. We have tried creating new receive connectors for the scanner with anonymous authentication,
but still attachments were not receiving. Log found in the printer as shown below.

        Did you test it before?
Do you try to send email to another account like (windows live,yahoo)?
    2. According to your error log, it seems to be network configuration problem.
        Do you modify network configuration of scanner?
    3. Can you check transport rule of your server?
