OWB 10.2 PARIS - How do you enter mapping parameters?

When I go to run or schedule my mapping, I can't seem to find anywhere where I can change my default parameters! I've been clicking and clicking to the point where my left mouse button doesn't work anymore. Can someone help while I go out and buy a new mouse.
Thanks
K

I am left handed so my left mouse button works the same as a normal persons right mouse button, and clicking on the mapping parameters did not work.
However, the suggestion to Tools -> Preferences -> Deployment - Process.
Set the preference “Prompt for execution parameters” works perfectly
I must've hovered very near that option in my frenzied clicking, but not on that exact one.
Thanks you M Boire.

  • How do you enter recovery mode disc utility?

On a mac mini server, how do you enter recovery mode disc utility? Before you roll your eyes, the problem I am having is obviously using bluetooth keyboard, on rebooting, it puts the keyboard to sleep so pressing CMD R whilst rebooting doesn't seem to register. Is there any way of doing this using bluetooth keyboard or do I need to get a wired keyboard?

    Thanks, I couldn't tell because I don't have a Restore partition.

    Hi Anna,
This double tap thing had never worked for me. Surprise, there is a preference to enable it.
Settings > General > Keyboard > Enable Caps Lock.

  • HT2486 How do you enter an extension to a phone number in contacts?

How do you enter an extension to a phone number in contacts?

From OSX daily:The easiest way is through your iPhone or add a semicolon ";" NOT a comma in Mac Address book .
Though you’ve long been able to add automatically dialed extensions to contacts on the iPhone, the newest versions of iOS handle extensionsmuch more intelligently, allowing you to create a “Dial Extension” button to any specific contact. That extension dialer can be activated manually, making the navigation of telephony menus infinitely easier, here’s how to quickly add this to a contact:
Open Contacts and tap the contact name to add the extension to, then tap the “Edit” button
Tap the phone number entry, place the cursor at the end, then tap the “+*#” button to access additional options
Choose “wait” then enter the extension afterwards, it will add a semicolon and the extension afterwards to the address appearing like so: 1-888-555-5555;123
Tap “Done” and exit out of contacts
Now dial the contact to discover a “Dial 123″ button has appeared, tap that whenever you want to dial the extension
The extensions can also be added from a Mac in Contacts (Address Book) by adding a semicolon to numbers followed by an extension, just be sure to sync it through the same iCloud account or it won’t go over to the iPhone.
Anyone who frequently uses extensions to reach specific people at an office, or anyone who has battled an automated phone system knows how useful this can be. You can even set a string of numbers, though the Dial button remains the same.

  • How do you enter and display album liner notes

Ipod Touch, 16gig, 2nd generation. I have a sizeable jazz collection and am ripping a lot of CDs. No problem on adding album art. Question is, how can I enter album information such as side men (like the album may be Cannonball Adderley, but I want to note that John Coltrane played tenor on tracks x, y and z), when the album was recorded and where, historic facts of interest, etc. When I right click an album I've entered in the music section, I go to a page where I add my album art and I see a comments section. Is that it? But, as important, when I'm listening to the album on my Touch, how do I retrieve the notes on the Touch screen to read them?
    Thanks for any help!

Paste the liner notes into the lyrics field in iTunes. They will then be visible on the Touch when you tap the album art (not in Coverflow)

  • Nokia E71 - How do you enter a HEX WPA Key?

    Hi All,
I have WiFi at home and I typed my ASCII Network Key in when connecting to the network and it worked perfectly.
At work I have WiFi and a 64 digit hexadecimal 256 bit Network key and I can't seem to be able to enter it when asked for the network key...After playing around with the different options i was able to enter a maximum of only 63 characters.
I don't have the ASCII passphrase, so i need to make the hex key work.
How do I enter a Hex Key, has anyone done this... help please.

Fortunately I was able to resolve my problem and I learned something about WPA keys in the process.  In my case, I originally retrieved the key from my laptop using a utility.  It displayed the 256 bit key as a 64 hex characters.  It turns out there was a typable ASCII key that worked.  The reason the hex key couldn't be translated to typable ASCII characters is that it is actually a 256 bit hash calculated from the 63 byte ASCII key combined with the SSID.  The E71x apparently supports entering the key either as the 63 byte ASCII key or as its 256 bit hex hash.  If I understand correctly, the latest implementation of WPA specifies an ASCII key converted to a 256 bit hash but earlier versions allowed entering a 256 bit key directly as hex.  I guess the latest implementation makes sense since hashing the key makes it less vulnerable to a dictionary attack, but it would be nice if the E71 supported entering the the key as hex.

  • How can you enter a line-break when using a Bluetooth Keyboard or onscreen Keyboard?

In Pages & Keynote the only way to force a line break I have found is to put your finger at the end of a line until the select/insert option appears and then selecting insert, then select line break.
This is frustratingly slow when typing a presentation or document so I bought a Logitech Ultrathin Bluetooth keyboard assuming that would have the Shift+Enter shortcut to make a line break. It doesn't, nor can I find any key combination that does, it's always a new paragraph, or nothing happens.
I have an Ipad3,  IOS 6.1.3. I've spoken to Logitech support - they said talk to Apple iOS support, I spoke with a chap at IOS support who didn't know what a line break was, didn't know shift+enter on a PC made a line break so didn't understand my question and ended the call.
Anyone know how to create the shortcut as an alternative to the onscreen slow way?

    Yes

  • Help!, How do you enter British Pound/Euro symbols?

    Hi,
I bought an american version powerbook because as an fairly apple newbie turn intermediate level mac user each key was well spelt out in words than the rather symbolic based british keyboard layout. Now funny question is does anyone know how to enter British pound and Euro symbols on an american version powerbook, cos i dont want to be copying and pasting

    £ is Option + 3
    € is Shift + Option + 2
Also, consult Keyboard Viewer for the key commands for other commonly used characters. You can find Keyboard Viewer by clicking on the flag icon in the menu bar. To activate this menu bar item, go to System Preferences > International > Input Menu and check the box, 'Show input menu in menu bar,'

  • How do you enter RELEASE DATE for your albums in i-Tunes?

I can see the column titles Release Date but I don't know how to enter the information. Does anyog know how to?

    Midi,
Welcome to the Apple Discussion forums.
If you click on any tune, and then hit command+I, you will get the information for the track. Click on the "Info" tab in this pop-up window and you will see there is a place to enter Date.
You can put whatever date you want to in here. I try to put release dates in this box myself, for music I did not buy from the iTunes Music Store. For example, right now I am looking at a Thelonius Monk track from Live at the Jazz Workshop that was released in 1964, and so I've labelled it as 1964 in the date field.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do you enter unicode character alt-255?

I need to enter a blank space in a tumblr headline. I can't figure out how to enter alt-255 for the blank.

The software in use here before the current one used to do that, too. Try entering a non breaking space, if HTML is allowed. You would enter it as:

    This software won't let me enter this the way it's supposed to display. It would be the ampersand character followed by nbsp;

  • In Pages on Ipad, how do you enter a Tab using the screen keypad?

    Hi,
I have an iPad2 and am using Pages, Notes and a few other apps. Pages has and supports tabs in the document, but I have yet to find a TAB key in the on-screen keypad? It works fine off the bluetooth keyboard, but I have access to that only about 20% of the time.
    Thanks for your help.

  • How do you enter a recurring calendar event such as first Friday each month?

I'd like to be able to enter recurring events that are scheduled for the same day (not date) each month. I.e. 1st Friday each month. Would like same flexibility as in ms outlook.

I see what you're saying,  I have my work calendar synced with my iPad calendar.  Since my Outlook calendar permits scheduling a monthly entry on a specific day of the week, It works for me.  I would suggest going to the App Store and seeing what calendars you might be able to download which will accommodate what you're looking for.

  • How do you enter a blank password in ssh

im trying to log into an account via ssh, the account has no password and when i hit enter in the prompt in the terminal it just says password again, what do i do
ps no i cant just change the password on the other account

leaving aside the fact that allowing ssh access with a blank password is a monstrously bad idea...
you'd have to enable ssh with an empty password on the computer you are trying to ssh to. It is disabled by default (and a good thing that it is too!). this has to be done by and admin user on that computer by modifying the file /etc/sshd_config. see this link
    http://www.osxfaq.com/man/8/sshd.ws
Unless this is done, there is nothing you can do on your end and you won't be able to ssh into that account.
