OWB 11g Control Centre, Want to Remove Schedule Jobs list

I am having a problem to deleting the list of Schedule Jobs in Control Centre which are not required any more. The Schedule has been disabled but unable to remove them from control centre, How we can achieve that.

Hi,
the first remove sheduled records from target database via deployment with Deploy Action = Drop.
Then clear (unset) configuration property Referred Calendar on mapping/processflow (corresponding to scheduled job) - click on checkbos None.
Usually job has name in format <object name>_JOB (where <object name> - name of scheduled mapping or processflow)

My control center shows a bunch of jobs in the "scheduled" tab that no longer exist.
They do not exist in Control Center and they also do not exist in the Design Center anymore.

Could it be that some process flows are still attached to a schedule? Perhaps you've made a copy of a Process Flow?

Empty "scheduled jobs" list in control center

Hi all,
due to a move to a new data warehouse environment i added a new configuration
to my OWB project with new locations, control center etc.
I was able to deploy and run all of the owb stuff into the new environment except all
the scheduled jobs to deploy into OEM,
which owb generates for all the process flows that have a schedule assigned ("Referred Calendar" in Configuration).
The list of "Scheduled Jobs" in control center for the target location just appears empty.
Are there any additional settings or privileges missings,
i.e. for target location, owb repository owner, configuration, location, ...?
Old env is Oracle DB 10.2.0.2 on Win Server 2003 32 bit, Workflow Server 2.6.4, OWB Client 10.2.0.1.31, OWB-Repository 10.2.0.1.0.
New env is Oracle DB 10.2.0.2 on Redhat 64 bit, Workflow Server 2.6.4, OWB Client 10.2.0.1.31, OWB-Repository 10.2.0.1.0.
Any hints would be appreciated.

Hi,
I found out that I have to create a new schedule module.
In the create module wizard you'll have to define a location where schedules
are deployed to and there I defined the new target location.
It is not possible to assign different deployment locations for same schedule
module in each configuration.
I don't know if it is a bug or a feature, but with the new seperate schedule module
it works.

I am trying to create a new scheduled job. I imported the job by using the 'weblogicImportMetadata.sh'.

I am afraid you might have made some undesirable changes in the /db/tasks.xml..... And don't go via plugin route... Instead
Please restore the backup of /db/tasks.xml...
The better alternative would be:
(1) Create a separate /db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml (Remember the /db part... This should be the folder...
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import/db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml
Then in the weblogicImportMetadata.sh, import path should be till:
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import
If it does not begin with /db, the job will not appear when you would try to create new job for it via Web GUI
(2) Upload Jar.sh as Scheduler task...
(3) Restart and all that...

Remove eprint job with HP Connected

I'm really disappointed. I have launched a job with google cloud print by error (around 200 pages of a document).
I just want to remove this job in ePrintCenter.
ePrintCenter redirect me to HP Connected new website but I don't see in the UI any page to remove jobs.
How can I remove an ePrint job with the new HP Connect website ?

Hi xblaster. The new HPConnected site has print jobs managed in the “Collections" tab. Before you can make use of it, you will receive an email from HPConnected asking you to confirm your email (orange button). This authorizes you to delete and reprint jobs. If the job is still stuck in the queue, you will have to wait until the job reports ‘failed’ before being able to actually remove it.

Oracle schedule jobs

Hi Gurus,
I need to learn more about Oracle schedule jobs, how they are configured, how they are created/deleted/stopped/started etc. Do you have some articles/books etc.
Also very importantly we are migrating from 9i to 11g. And we have some schedule jobs in 9i. When the DB is imported from 9i to 11g, what additional steps do I need to do to schedule them Ok in the new DB.

Schedule jobs issue after the upgrade

We have Data Services jobs scheduled via management console in 4.0 Environment. I upgraded the repository to 4.2 and attach it in CMC and also in Server manager. Both the environments are in different servers.
Login to Data Services management console. Click on the upgraded repository schedules, scheduled jobs listed there. But there is no Job server atatched to it. When i try to activate or edit the schedule, i am getting below error.
Schedule:billing_rep Error:Socket is closed] When contacting the server above exception was encountered, so it will be assumed the schedule is not active anymore.
Am i missing any steps?

Below is my suggestion regarding your query:
Edit existing Job server and update the details regarding Local reporsitory and save it.
Now try to map the same job server in scheduled jobs and check it was working or not
Or Else
Create new Job server and assign it to local repository.
In this case you have to update your all real time & batch Job configuration.

Executing Scheduled jobs via Control Centre

Hello Forum,
We have a question on the scheduled jobs in OWB. We have some process flows that are attached to some (corresponding) schedules. Now in the Control Centre, we have two options to get the scheduled jobs executed:
1. We can have the scheduled jobs deployed, but not started, in which case the scheduled jobs would run as our Repository Owner (say OWB).
2. We can have the scheduled jobs deployed AND started, in which case the scheduled jobs would run as OWF (Oracle Workflow User).
(Just to clarify - by "starting" a scheduled job we mean that we make use of the "Start" option available in the right-click menu for every scheduled job that appears under the "Scheduled Jobs" node in the Control Centre.)
We would like to understand what is the advantage/disadvantage of setting up the scheduled jobs (for execution) for the two cases described above.
Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your kind inputs. Well the situation that I have at hand is that when I don't "start" the schedules (as in Case 1. described in my earlier post), everything goes fine. However, if I "start" the schedules jobs (as in Case 2. described in my earlier post), the scheduled jobs failed to execute after DB restart. So I feel we are better off by not starting the scheduled jobs so as to make them run as our target workflow user.
Do you think this is the right approach for executing the scheduled jobs?

Is notification center showing up when you swipe down ?
Check in your settings if control center is checked :
Settings > control center > check both "lock screen" and "access within apps"
gently swipe up beginning outside the screen, just a few inches up (you don't need to swipe up to the top of the screen.

Scheduling jobs in OWB 10.2

I'm busy with a migration of OWB 10.1 to 10.2 and I had almost everything up and running
except
the scheduled jobs.
In 10.1 my predecessors made scheduled jobs which started in their turn a procedure which then started the process flow with wb_rt_api_exec.
After migration I could not get those jobs going anymore.
After investigation I could see that the procedures (starting the proess flows) ran when started with the runtime rrepository owner as launcher.
Even te jobs ran when they were started with the session credentials (iow the credentials from the logged on user being the runtime repository owner).
I've seen the atricles telling that you need to set the preferred credentials to the runtime repository owner in oem if you want to get it running from there.
Anyhow I could start it by recreating the jobs with the runtime repository owner as the creator.
Doens anybody know why it could run in owb 10.1 with sys as creator and why it nn longer works in 10.2.
I checked the 10.1 installation and I haven't found any priviileges granted to sys that where not granted in the 10.2 installation, so there is no diff.
Any help would be welcome.

Hi,
You cannot schedule direct mapping. You need create Process flow then u need to attach calendar for that. Go to Control Centre Deploy process flow and schedule and further click on start.

The server is restarted every week automatically an someone has to start de Control Centre Service manually typing: user, pwd, server, port and service.

what you can do is create a script which will get executed once your server is restarted .
inside the script you need to do the following
go to the directory : $OWBHOME\owb\rtp\sql
connect to the repository owner with sqlplus
start the sql file start_service.sql
