OWB and OEM Version ERROR (Urgent)
Hi All,
I am using OracleWarehouse builder version 9.2.0.2.0.8 and OEM version 9.2.0.2.0.10 and i am getting error while creating cubes in OEM. Is it due to different versions of OWB and OEM.
Please Let me know, if anyone knows about it.

Hi Mukesh,
You do not need to create the dimensions in OEM, you can use Warehouse Builder to do this.

OEM Grid and Database version differences
Hi All,
I have installed OEM 11.1.0.1.0 version and agents which same version are installed in databases like 11.2.0.2 and 11.1.0.7. I have set metrics like Generic Incident,Generic Operational Error and Generic Internal Error with Warning and Critical threshold values. When testing for Alert log, errors are not logged into OEM Grid and no notifications coming to my e-mail configured.
My question: Is this due differences in OEM Grid and databases? As OEM Grid has low version than my databases.
PS: Alerts are coming perfectly to my e-mail for all 10g databases.
Please clarify and help me in this regard.

WSUS updates not applying to Office 2013 Home and Business OEM version

For some reason I cannot get WSUS updates to automatically install on clients running Office 2013 Home and Business OEM version.
For example
If user opens any of the office 2013 apps e.g. Outlook , word etc, it prompts a message at the top under the ribbon toolbar; UPDATE NOW.
All other updates for OS are downloading and installing just fine from our WSUS server.
What could this be?
I dont have this issue with clients running office 2003First thing you need to do is be absolutely certain which edition of Office you have installed.
There are five editions of "Office 365" and these days, almost anything that is "OEM" is almost certainly Office 365:
Office 365 Home
Office 365 Personal
Office 365 Small Business
Office 365 Small Business Premium
Office 365 Midsize Business
Office 365 ships with an activation code for an online management account, and authorizes the installation of the software on up to five devices. Office 365 is updated via the WEB .. ONLY.
In addition there are three editions of Office 2013:
Office Home & Student
Office Home & Business
Office Professional
If you have one of these three editions, you should also have a DVD and a Product Activation Code for the SINGLE-PC installation which is licensed for these editions provided by the vendor of your computers. Office 2013 can be updated using WSUS.
Since you're getting a prompt IN THE APPLICATION to "Update Now", I believe you're looking at instances of Office 365, not Office 2013. Office 2013 (desktop) does not provide in-product prompts for updates/upgrades.

My ipod touch (model A1213) is not syncing properly. I have updated the software to the latest (2.2.1) and have even resored it. Itunes says it is working and updated but will not sync and apps. Error message says that app will not sync because a newer version needed.
2.2.1 is not the latest available for any ipod touch.

Wanted to sync up my new IPhone4, and thought that I should make sure I had the most up to date version of ITunes on my desktop first. Tried to get on site, and got an error message saying; "The folder ITunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder." Cannot get on ITunes at all now. Help! Thx.

Can anyone help solve this problemExactly the same problems as many others with iTunes 10.5 and my Windows 7 32 bit laptop: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT .type="win32", … HRESULT:0x800736FD. I followed the Apple instructions to completely uninstall earlier iTunes and all Apple applications and then tried to re-install iTunes 10.5. Numerous attempts. Still no success. Constantly goes through the install and then rolls back after failure.
By unzipping using WinRAR and installing each module separately it seems that the module that fails is the AppleApplicationSupport.msi
Finally I uninstalled everything again and reinstalled iTunes 10.4.1. This installed perfectly. So at least I still have iTunes.
I was able to install iTunes 10.5 on myWindows XP SP3 desktop.
I noticed with WinRAR that the AppleApplicationSupport.msi file with 10.5 is a completely different size to that with 10.4.1. This suggests to me a conflict between the latest AppleApplicationSupport.msi and Windows 7. -
2014 .3 is much too buggy and full of error messages. Creating problems as I am on a timeline with my client and I don't have time to fool around with all the problems.

If you have a copy of your .muse file that has not been saved using 2014.3, you can downgrade by uninstalling Muse and then choose Previous Version in the Filters drop down in the Apps panel of the Creative Cloud desktop app. There will be a popup next to Muse where you can select a prior version to install. -

I have a problem when updated the new release of iphoto version(11 jun 2012). After that I cannot open any photo libraries and program is error. I must to force quit iphoto window. There are any fixed bug update.
If you have no photos:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library' and start.

I'm experiencing the error in the subject while deploying an object (the first object I'm trying to deploy) in OWB.

I have a Team Foundation Build Agent that has Visual Studio Team System 2008 Test Edition installed. One of the solutions that I compile with that Build Agent gives me the following errors:
VCBUILD : fatal error C1047: The object or library file '.\bin\Release\main.obj' was created with an older compiler than other objects; rebuild old objects and libraries
LINK : fatal error LNK1257: code generation failed
VCBUILD : fatal error C1900: Il mismatch between 'P1' version '20080116' and 'P2' version '20070207'
LINK : fatal error LNK1257: code generation failed
I've searched online and found that other people have experienced the same problem:

In the second posting one states "I had the same Error! After installing Service Pack1 for VS2008 it worked!". Thats great for him but I don't see any such update for the Test Edition of Visual Studio Team System 2008 - Test Edition.

I once handled a similar case in newsgroups. That case exhibit a almost same symptom. Please check out my summary below:
Problem
In that case, the customer has a DLL project that you had built on a machine where VS 2008 SP1 was installed. You then attempted to rebuild that project on a machine without SP1, and got a fatal compiler error C1900 “IL mismatch between ‘P1’ version ‘20080116’ and ‘P2’ version ‘20070207’”, and then LNK1257 “Code generation failed”. He found that rebuilding your static library alleviated the errors, but cannot accept this as a workaround because your clients will not have the ability to rebuild the libraries you distribute before they use them.
Cause
You had built the static library with the /GL (Whole Program Optimization) compiler switch, which requires Link Time Code Generation (/LTCG) when the static library is subsequently linked. These features require that all linked modules be built by the same version of the compiler. In fact, if precompiled headers are used, the same machine must build and link all the involved object code. Therefore, it is highly recommended that static libraries not be built with the /GL switch, since their intended use is quite frequently to support reuse by others.
Solution
You rebuilt the static library on your VS2008 SP1 machine without the /GL switch, and you no longer encounter this problem.

I want to de-install mac-excel test version and get the error message: 'You have not the privileges to de-install. Please login with the Mac-OS account you have installed mac-excel originally'. I don't know this account anymore. Possibly it does not exist anymore. anybody out there who can help ?
Hi, I may suggest to activate the root account and try the uninstall process from that account. To do so, you have to:
Go to System Preferences a open up the Users pane;
On the left side of the pane, you shuold see Login Options;
Enabled editing option clicking on the lock (it will ask your password);
Once the pane is enabled, you should see something like Server Account Network (sorry my OS is in italian, so I don't exactly know the right translation), and right next to it a button;
Click on that button, and a new pane shows up. Click on Open Directory Utility, and on the upper bar of OS X click on Edit;
Select Enable Root Account (you can set a password, or not);
Done that, you should log out and when the login window show up, type on the user field "root" and the password you choose;
Theorically, from this account you will be able to unistall the application.
After completing your task, I reccomend you to disable the root account, just by loggin in your personal account and repeating the steps I described before. Hope it helps -
