Owb deployment error

Hi
I have production deployment problem.
I moved all the objects from development to production when i trying to deploy the external tables.
It's giving two errors one is

EO_SOURCE

any body please suggest me wat to do

which is better first i need to create in dev then moved to prod

JDBC driver - OWB deployment error

I am using OWB 11.2.0.3 and I'm trying to connect to a SQL SERVER 2008 R2 database by using a JDBC driver sqljdbc.jar.
The connection works, I can import the tables but when I try to deploy the mapping I get the following error:
java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException; nested exception is: java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException; oracle.oc4j.rmi.OracleRemoteException; java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException
I have tried with JDBCS driver 3 and 4. Does anyone know where the problem is?

Don't have a answer to your specific issue, but have a question. Where are you running the agent? I started with the agent on the client, but learned eventually that it had to be on the runtime server. I am currently also working through issues with OWB support. My issues appear to be runtime issues at this point.

Owb deployment error after sync

Hi all,
I have created one mappings 2 months back and i have validated,generated,depolyemnt and excuted also.
upto now no issuses. data is populating as per requirment into target table.
yesterday i have added one column in source and target after i synchronized in mapping

Hi,
just drop and re-create the table in database. Drop the atble and inport it back to OWB. Open ur mappings and delete the table. bring the table again and re-connect. this should do the job.
I am not sure why the sync operation gave the error. I am sure you would have some other thing in the mapping or the table in the database is deleted.

OWB Deployment Error: Invalid Sql Statement

Hi,
I am getting a error (Deployment Failure) on deploying my map. The map was
successfully deployed before. But suddenly after wards in a later deployment,
this error was given. Dropped the package.. and then still only the package spec was getting created in database, and not the body. Deployment Failure with the
message "Invalid SQL statement".
I have no clue ,where to start debugging from.
hav checked all SETOP and JOINER., and they are fine.
any idea , pls let me know..

Error in OWB deployment Scripts

My OWB deployment scripts (the SQL PACKAGES created post deployment) are having errors.
When my source table, target table are in the same warehouse target schema which is owned by the Runtime Repository, the deployment scripts are working fine. But if the source or target table is moved to a different schema then the deployment scripts are giving errors saying - "PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist".
Please let me know how to rectify this error when my source and/or target tables are in separate schema....

The problem is solved. One more question I have, in the Expression Operator, we have two groups, the input group and the output group. But if there is a need to have some attibutes for storing temporary calculations as well, before assigning them to the attributes of the output group, then under which group should these be made? I am asking for something like a variable group where the attibutes for storing temporary calculations will be made and these attributes can be used by the output group for sending the values to the next transformation.

Peculiar Deployment Error in OWB

I have a mapping (M_TEST_PROCEDURE) which has the following sequence of operators.
Source Table -> Mapping Transformation (Procedure) -> Expression -> Pivot -> Target Table.
The mapping validates without any errors. But when tried to deploy this mapping it gives me the following error.

The target table loading type is INSERT, and match by constraint is set to 'No constraints'.
There is no INSERT/UPDATE or UPDATE/INSERT anywhere in the mapping.
This really seems to be a awkward problem.
You can try yourself. Make a stored procedure (doing a very simple thing ... taking an input value adding a constant value and then returning that value back).
The sequence of operators used in the mapping:
Source Table -> Mapping Transformation (using the above procedure) -> Expression Operator -> Pivot Operator -> Target Table.
Try to deploy the code ... u will get a deployment error which OWB itself does not understand.
Any more hints of help ?

Deployment error:Table, view or sequence reference to ABC is not allowed

Hi all,
I have created a mapping in OWB where a table ABC gets loaded from its stage table S_ABC. The mapping validates fine, code generation is fine but when I try to deploy the mapping it gives me a deployment error saying PLS:00357 Table, View or sequence reference ABC is not allowed.
I used the same logic to one of my other mappings and it gets executed without any problem. If you guys could tell me what is going wrong in this mapping, that would be very helpful.

if you are using a view or sequence in the mapping or referencing any other object then the owb user needs to have grants to access those objects otherwise the deployment will fail. Please check the object grants.

OWB Database Error

I am trying to register a target location in OWB Deployment manager. My source and target is in same Database 10g R2 and it gives an error "RTC-5346 :the oracle database location 10.1 is not equal to target version 10.2

As I have now moved to the OWB Product Management team I will try and answer this question, despite it being the wrong forum.
When you define a target location you have to provide details of the version of the target. This helps us generate the correct SQL for each database version. If you click on the location that identifies your target at the bottom of the dialog is a pulldown menu that will allow you to select the exact database version. I think we default the version to 10.1. You will need to change this to 10.2.
That should resolve the problem.

I was deploying a process_flow package here in named "PF_LOAD", then the following error occured.
OMB05602: An unknown Deployment error has occured for Object Type DeploymentContextImpl.generate WBGeneratedObject[] is null or length 0 for PF_LOAD.
Does anyone know what this error means or what possibly caused it?

Deployment error while deploying targeters in BCC

Hi,
I am trying to create a targeter with content groups and media internal texts. Whenever i deploy a project with these assets, i get deployment error.
It says "Deployment '169200010' to target 'production' encountered a system level deployment error during data transfer. An automatic rollback deployment has successfully occurred, preserving the state of target 'production'. Click 'Resume' to re-attempt the deployment."
I checked for the VFS set up for targeters and content groups and they are in place.
There are 3 assets in the project. It says the asset already exists

I have set the ORACLE_HOME that points to SOA install directory i.e.
C:\Documents and Settings>echo %ORACLE_HOME%
C:\Oracle_Software\1013\soa
One more thing is that if I install the Developer Version and even though the ORACLE_HOME is not set this works fine i.e. DocumentReview it's only that in the Midtier install version it doesn't work.
The BPELProcess gets deployed and even the task is assigned but when logging into worklist and selecting the task I see the following error:
Not Found
The requested URL /default/DocumentReview/1.0/DocumentReview/DocumentReview.jsp was not found on this server.

It's because at deployment time I get that security error and parent application not found and it never deploys the jsp's. Now in the logs I don't see anything. It's only in JDeveloper I see those errors at deployment time. Here is the domain.log:

Now even though the log says process deployed successfully it only deploys the BPEL Process but no jsp forms deployed. I hope there's nothing special we have to do. This issue can be recreated by installing the Midtier version of SOA and configure it with OID and then try deploying DocumentReview Process provided in the demos.
I hope I have provided all the information.

Deployment error while running the application

Hi Every body,
I am new to JEE though an old pro at JDK.I have also worked on tomcat.
I have got Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 installed with NetBeans 6.1 on winXP.

HI ,
I am able to over deployment problem. It was due to some error in code of view i created. because of that, it was giving deployment error.
Now, when i goto NWA->Configuration -> Process and Task -> Process Repository, I can see my deployed DC's. When i select my process and go to start process, Start Process button is blurred (means read only). Can you please help me on this?

Deployment error in JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 when deploying 11.1.1.3 application

We have built a bpm application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. Now we have upgraded the server to new version 11gR3 and have also upgraded our jdeveloper to 11.1.1.4.
We have opened in Jdeveloper(11.1.1.4) the exisitng bpm application developed in older version (11.1.1.3) and when trying to deploy the application to the 11gR3 server getting the following deployment error in jdeveloper:

This deployment error is happening only when the UI project is deployed along with the composite. When I open the Project Properties --> Library, I notice that a Library "ALE Component" is displayed in exclamation. Even after removing this library I am getting the same deployment error. Will be grateful if any help is suggested to this issue.

Yes, you need to update the library reference apparently. (I just started again.)
Try adding the following library ref to your weblogic.xml of UI project
