OWB error table is not working?

Dear Oracle Experts,
I new to oracle OWB.
Platform Oracle 11gr2 in centos linux
i have created a new mapping which transfers the data between two schemas.when I deploy i didnt face any errors and when i run the mapping it shows log
ORA-00001 unique constraint (RAHS2MIG1.PK_OBJECT) VOILATED.
IS it possible to record this message in Error table? Please if any one know how to record the error in error table.
I can only able to edit dml error table name box in property inspector but i cannot able to edit error table name.
Also
I have created the error table with the sql
SQL> connect rahs2mig1/rahs2mig1
Connected.
begin
dbms_errlog.create_error_log('migrationinfo','ERROR$_MIG') ;
end;
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
I have created the table ERROR$_MIG for the target schema object migrationinfo.After clicking the start option in the mapping.
ORA-00001 unique constraint (RAHS2MIG1.PK_OBJECT) VOILATED. error shows only in the log.
No errors record in the ERROR$_MIG table.
Please advise.
Thanks in Advance
Regards,
Vijay

Vijay,
IT isn't enough to define the error table at the DB level. You must also inform the mapping to generate code to utilize that error table. If you check the properties on the table object in the mapping you will find that there is an ERROR TABLE NAME property that you need to set to the name of the error table.
Also note that the ORACLE syntax to put errors into the error table requires that the mapping be doing set-based processing, so check and make sure that you are indeed generating and running in set-based mode.

Mike

    Best regards,
    David.

    OK thanks for looking ....you've obviously got the fixes on your to do lists
    Noticed that the SQL tab when you select an object works fine - displays the
    DDL for the object
    Do you think you'll have functionality so you can select many objects (shift left click) and
    then create a DDL script for them? It looks like you can do this for all objects in a schema but
    the ability to select a subset of objects in a schema would be very useful for our DBA's.
    Couldn't see any good reason for keeping using SQLNavigator
    Many congratulations on producing such a useful tool.
    Kind regards,
    David.

  • ADCS Remove child table is not working

    Hi
    The AD out-of-box adapter ADCS Remove from child table is not working correctly.
    when i remove data from child table the task status shows completed, but the description inside the task shows that the GROUP HAS BEEN REMOVED ALREADY FROM TARGET.
    But on checking the AD I found the groups were not removed actually.

    Hi Manoj,
    The error message below is performed when the connector tried to remove the user from a user group removeUserFromGroup() (ADCS Remove User From Group), so the user group will not be removed. To delete a group, you have to run the delete group task of AD Group process.
    When the user has already been removed from the group, the connectors shows null to the tcADUtilLDAPController::modifyAttributes():null
    Renato.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

  • Error: ELM does not work from UI

    Hello guru´s,
    hard to explain this briefly, but here it goes.
    We´re trying to upload an ELM from UI, and it doesn´t work. But the thing is, if you just SAVE from UI (not launch), and then you go to CRMD_MKTLIST and you flag required fields, it works. But obviously, we need to do that from UI.
    Besides this, we´ve implemented a Badi CRM_MKTLIST_BADI for a specific format but it´s never called from UI; however, if we simulate the execution from SAP GUI, this BADI works correctly.
    Thanks in advance.

    SunSudio Express (December 2006 release) introduces some
    interesting new features, but there are still problems. For the first time,
    I was able to debug Fortran 90 applications in Linux, but debugging is
    still very limited. This is good to know that you were able to debug a f90 application
    on Linux. What problems do you see? Please, report them, and we
    will file them as bugs or RFEs (requests for enhancements).
    Furthermore, the Fortran error parser does not work, even when
    compiling using Sun's f95 compiler. Yes, you are right, this feature does not work yet.
    This is a heavy disadvantage. I assume that Fortran error parsing
    is not supported on Linux, although the tutorials don't make this
    point clear: Yes, it does not work yet on all platforms.
    In the Options window, there are settings concerning C/C++ (and
    its parser), but there are no similar options for the Fortran parser,
    even in "Advanced Settings" (which are similar to the old Options
    window). There will be similar options for Fortran.
    My Linux system is Debian 3.1 (Sarge), with JDK 1.5.0.09.JDK 1.5.0.09 is ok.
    We do not target Debian system, but we assume everything
    should work there (we test on Red Hat and SUSE).
    Good to know that our assumption is correct :-)
    I don't think that I'm doing something wrong, but I want to ask, just
    to be sure: has someone had seen the Fortran error parser working
    on Linux? No. It does not work on Linux, and it does not work on other platforms.
    What about Fortran word completion? No, this feature is not implemented yet.
    Thanks you for trying Sun Studio 12 Express release and for your report.

My Linux system is Debian 3.1 (Sarge), with JDK 1.5.0.09.
    I don't think that I'm doing something wrong, but I want to ask, just to be sure: has someone had seen the Fortran error parser working on Linux? What about Fortran word completion?

    Thanks you for trying Sun Studio 12 Express release and for your report.

  • Error DTP is not working.

    Hi
    I have a question regarding DTP error handling. I have erronious data on PSA, now i am correcting data in PSA and loading to ODS and activating.As it is a full load, I want to keep these records in an another table like error PSA in 3.x. How it is possible in BI. I have created Error DTP which will post error records in Error stack and dont let the load fail. But it is not working.
    Please help me.
    Haaris

    HI,
    On the Update tab page in the data transfer process (DTP), the error handling settings allow you to control how the system responds if errors occur in the data records when data is transferred from a DTP source to a DTP target.
    These settings were previously made in the Info Package. When using data transfer processes, Info Packages only write to the PSA. Therefore, error handling settings are no longer made in the Info Package but in the data transfer process.
    Settings for Error Handling
    For a data transfer process (DTP), you can specify how you want the system to respond when data records contain errors. If you activate error handling, the records with errors are written to a request-based database table (PSA table). This is the error stack. You can use a special data transfer process, the error DTP, to update the records to the target.
    Temporary storage is available after each processing step of the DTP request. This allows you to determine the processing step in which the error occurred.
    "Repairing" with Error DTP
    You create an error DTP for an active data transfer process on the Update tab page. You run it directly in the background or include it in a process chain so that you can schedule it regularly in the context of your process chain. The error DTP uses the full update mode to extract data from the error stack (in this case, the source of the DTP) and transfer it to the target that you have already defined in the data transfer process.
    Thanks/Tarak

  • Table Attribute not working with MVC5 and EF6

    Hello,
           Having an issue with a project I am working on.  I have a web project and portable classes.  I am using Entity Framework 6, and MVC 5.  Everything was working when I had all the classes in the Web side,
    but once I moved them to the Portable side, I began to have an issue with the data annotation.  Here is the code from one of the classes:
    namespace Inventory.Entities
    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations;
    using System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations.Schema;
    using System.Linq;
    [Table("Common.Location")]
    public class Location
    public Location()
    Assets = new HashSet<Asset>();
    [Key]
    public int LocationID { get; set; }
    [Required]
    [Display(Name = "Location Name")]
    public string LocationName { get; set; }
    public virtual ICollection<Asset> Assets { get; set;}
    Now the issue is that Table has a red squiggle and I am getting the following error: Error  43  The type or namespace name 'TableAttribute' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
    As far as I can tell everything is set up correctly, but this just does not want to work.  It is not only this class, but all of my classes.  The only reference I have in the portable classes is .Net with a target of 4.5.  Everything I read
    says this should work, but clearly it is not working.  I have also uninstalled and installed the entity framework, did a clean and build but with no luck.  Any thoughts?
    Michael R. Mastro II

    Hello Michael,
    >>but once I moved them to the Portable side, I began to have an issue with the data annotation.
    This is by designed, please check the namespace “System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations.Schema”:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.componentmodel.dataannotations.schema(v=vs.110).aspx, as you can see, only the DatabaseGeneratedAttribute is supported in Portable Class Library.(If a class is supported in PCL, there should be a
     symbol).

  • TRUNCATE TABLE does not work in PL/SQL - Why?

    Hey there!
    Is there any issue with truncate table not working inside an PL/SQL package?
    For example this function:
    PROCEDURE FLUSH_TABLE(vi_table_name VARCHAR2) IS
    vn_table_name VARCHAR2(30);
    BEGIN
    vn_table_name := UPPER(LTRIM(RTRIM(vi_table_name)));
    TRUNCATE TABLE vn_table_name;
    END FLUSH_TABLE;
    returns the following error msg:
    Error: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "TABLE" when expecting one of the following:
    := . ( @ % ;
    The symbol ":= was inserted before "TABLE" to continue.
    Line: 5926
    Text: TRUNCATE TABLE VN_TABLE_NAME;
    Can somebody explain me the problem here? In my point of view, the error msg is not quite right ;)
    Regards,
    Thomas

    > I just think the error msg is confusing
    When you looked for TRUNCATE in the PL/SQL reference you might have noticed that the PL/SQL language has no TRUNCATE keyword. The error message indicates that syntactically the code appears to be some sort of variable assignment but has an extra keyword and no assignment operator. You would get the same message for any similar string of unrecognised keywords:
    SQL> BEGIN
      2      TRUNCATE TABLE emp;

  • Query for the huge table is not working.

    Hi,
    I am having a link between oracle server and Microsoft sql server let' say 'SQLWEB' this link is perfectly working fine when I query table having few hundred thousand records but It’s not working for one of the table which is having a more then 3 million record at sql server. any one of you is having any Idea why this peculiar behavior is there any limitations for this heterogeneous link is there any workaround for the same. Below you can see the first query returns the count from table but second query is getting disconnected as that’s a very huge table having millions of record.
    shams at oracleserver> select count(*) from investors@sqlweb ;
    COUNT(*)

    In general you want to minimize the traffic going over the dblink. This is best handled with view on the sql server try. You might try creating a view on sql server like:
    create view all_investors as
    select * from investors
    Then from sql plus:
    select count from all_investors@sqlweb.

  • Select All in a table does not work for Drag and Drop

    Hi. I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 but have also reproduced in 11.1.1.3.
    I am trying to implement drag and drop rows from one table to another. Everything works fine except when I do a Select All (ctrl-A) in a table, the table visually looks like all rows are selected, but when I try to click on one of the selected rows to drag to the other table, only the row I click on is dragged.
    I tried setting Range Size -1, fetch mode to FETCH_ALL, content delivery to "immediate" but nothing works.
    I even have reproduced not using a view object but just a List of beans with only 5 or 10 beans showing in the table.
    Does anyone know how to get Select All to work for a Drag Source?
    Thanks.

    Frank-
    OK, thanks for looking into that. I also submitted this service request, which includes a simple sample app to demonstrate the problem:
    SR #3-2387481211: ADF Drag and Drop does not work for rows in table using Select All
    Thanks again for the reply.

  • In SSRS , after exporting report in excel,wrap text property for cell and freeze column for SSRS table header not working in Excel

    I am working no one SSRS my table headers are freeze cangrow property is false and my report is working perfect while rendering data on RDL and i want same report after exporting in Excel also , i want my table header to be freeze and wrap text property
    to work after exporting in my report in excel but its not working ,is there any solution ? any patch ? any other XML code for different rendering ?

    Hi Amol,
    According to your description, you find the wrap text property and fix column is not working after exporting into Excel. Right?
    In Reporting Services, when exporting to excel file, it has limitation for textbox.
    Text boxes are rendered within one Excel cell. Font size, font face, decoration, and font style are the only formatting that is supported on individual text within an Excel cell.
    Excel adds a default padding of approximately 3.75 points to the left and right sides of cells. If a text box’s padding settings are less than 3.75 points and is just barely wide enough to accommodate the text, the text may wrap in Excel.
    In this scenario, it supposed to be wrap text unless you merge cells. If cells are merged, word-wrap does not work correctly. If any merged cells exist on a row where a text box is rendered with the
    AutoSize property, autosize will not work. For the Fix Data Property, it can't be working in Excel. These are features when exporting to Excel. We can't change it because it's by design.

    Exporting to Microsoft Excel (Report Builder and SSRS)
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • Help!!  iChat Communication Error: AV Does Not Work!!

    I just purchased a iMac and Macbook, converting from PC. I have desperately tried to get iChat to work to talk to my children while traveling. I set up an AIM account for my iMac at home under my kids logon (since I can't talk to myself). I use my .Mac account on my Macbook. I have searched the forums and changed my ichat and Quick Time settings as specified. Whether I attempt to call my family from my Macbook or they try to call me from my iMac, I cannot get iChat AV to work. We get the ring and answer the call, but it ends and I get "There was a communication error during your chat."
    Please help. This was one of the reasons I converted to Mac.
