OWB RUNTIME ERROR
I'm receiving the following error while trying to create my runtime repository.
javaw.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point kpuhhalo could not be located in the dynamic link library OCI.dll
Please help.
You don't need to reinstal, the only thing you need is tostart installer, press installed products button, switch from contents to environment and set OWB home above all other homes. Maybe you installed some older thing after 10g OWB, (in my case it was designer from 9i) and oracle in startup catched oci.dll from first mentioned - but older - home. IMHO very unpleasant bug, if not worth to fix, certainly could be documented...

To_number conversion error in OWB runtime
I have a mapping in OWB 10.1.0.5 that does something like that :
select t1.a_field,to_number(t2.a_stringField)
from a_table t1
an_other_table@source_schemas@source_database t2
where (....)
the t2.a_stringField may contain:
'1256'
'5'
'12'
'5,8'
when I run my mapping from SQL_PLUS
begin
my_mapping.main();
end;
it works well,
but when I run my mapping with OWB, my mapping terminates with errors on the line containing a decimal value (the line with coma decimal separator).
I deployed my mapping over three similar database (developpement, test, production) and the problem appends for just one of them !
any idea ?
these are my database parameter :
NLS_TERRITORY AMERICA
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS '.,'
the paramters for the current user (target schemas):
NLS_TERRITORY FRANCE
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS ',.'
my 'source_database' parameters :
NLS_TERRITORY AMERICA
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS '.,'
and the parameters for the user 'source_schemas' :
NLS_TERRITORY FRANCE
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS ',.'Hi Jean,
I think you need to change NLS_LANG to the same value as on your other two servers (and don't forget to restart OWB runtime).
Or you can specify nls parameter in TO_NUMBER function:
TO_NUMBER('9,5','999D99', 'NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS = '', ''')

RUNTIME Error using OWB 1.2.5.0.0
I recieve the following error:
MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
RUNTIME ERROR!
PROGRAM C:\JDK1.1.8\BIN\JAVA.EXE
ABNORMAL PROGRAM TERMINATION
This occurs when I'm using the capture wizard and specifing which MSACCESS I want.
I used OWB this morning to sucessfully load oracle tables from a MS ACCESS database.
I was trying to move on to the next database to convert.
What do I need to check?
Thanks!Hi,
I figured out the solution.
Make the project use 1.4.1 and also replace the tools.jar file under %JDEV_INSTALL%\jdk\lib
In addition to this I have also changed the "SetJavaHome" environment variable in jdev.conf to use JDK 1.4.1
And everything is working fine and as I wanted.
FYI:
Replace tools.jar on OC4J Standalone(I used OC4J 903) with tools.jar of JDK 1.4.1 and then app can be deployed on OC4J as well.
Hope this helps someone.

OWB Runtime repository installing error
Hello
I'm a newbie here and in Oracle world. I'm student who tries to learn Oracle Warehouse Builder use on freetime, so any help would be appriciated.

Everytime time the runtime repository installing halts when about 60 percent is done.
So if anybody could assist me, i would be forever grateful...
Thanks for advance....This is a bug 3043523, affecting non-English repository installs. It's documented and fixed in 9.2.0.4 patchset. For a customer I would say patch to 9.2.0.4 before attempting to create the runtime repository. But I figured you don't have access to the patches, since they are distributed through Oracle Support's site metalink.oracle.com, where only Oracle customers can login to. So would it be an option for you to install the English language repository?

Estimation of dbsize in OWB Runtime Repository
Hi,
I would like to know the procedure how to estimate the dbsize required for owb runtime repository.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Thank you,
Regards,
Gowtham Sen.OK, a quick empirical test shows me that an average mapping at that level seems to generate about 15 rows in the audit tables - more, of course, if errors occur in the mapping as under your audit level it must also save this information.
Another quick check of the average row lengths in most of the wb_rt_audit tables, and I'll over-estimate and call it 250 bytes per row.
So, a bit of quick math:
(450 mappings per day) x (100 days) x (20 rows (overestimate) ) = 900,000 rows
Round up to a million rows for safety, and then multiply out by our average row length of 250bytes, and you have a requirement of 250MB of space for audit info - and that didn't include indexes.
Throw in the storage for your mapping metadata referenced by the runtime engine (you could measure this by the storage used right after deployment), guesstimate index spaces, leave room for safety, and with your requirements I'd probably want to start with around 400 MB which I would monitor for the first while.
But, this is just educated guesswork on my part as I normally leave this up to our DBA to deal with

Runtime error in starting Lightroom
I receive the following message when I try to start Lightroom:

I have tried everything I know to do (uninstalled and reinstalled the application, restored the computer to a restore point before Lightroom was originally installed, etc.) and do not know were to go from here. Suggestions would be appreciated.
I am using Windows XP sp2 and have 4 GB of ram and 250 GB of hard disk space.

Could someone help me with a Runtime Error while saving a PDF file?
While saving a 28 page PDF file in Illustrator today, I got a window saying, "This application has requested the "Runtime" to terminate it in a unusual way." It said to contact the applications support team for more information. I keep getting the same thing each time I try it. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or how I contact the applications support team ?
Thank you for any insight.
PamIt is a 13.5x11 inch calendar. There are 14 pages with images on them and
some text. The other pages have text, a grid and a colored background with a
gaussian blur. I saved each page as an "outline".
The printer I am using requested I save all pages in a pdf file. I was
successful in saving all but about six pages, now I can't even open the
file.
What happens is... I open Illustrator
I open the pdf file
A window appears that says... Runtime Error,
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I select ok
then a window appears that says... Adobe
Illustrator CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop
working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a
solution is available.
Then the program closes.
So far I have not been notified of anything.
Please let me know if you need more details.
Thank you so much for helping me with this.

RunTime Error while saving a Sales Order
Hi All,
When i am saving a Sales Order, the system is throwing a Runtime Error.
The ABAP Code in the Runtime Error screen as follows.
select * from (t681-kotab) appending table <cond_tab>
up to 1 rows
where kappl = se_kappl
and kschl = se_kschl
and datbi >= se_date
and datab <= se_date
and (coding_tab).
Till these days, there was no such error while saving a Sales Order.
How to resolve this issue?
Regards
PavanHi,
The below piece of code is trying to get the contents of the table mentioned in T681-KOTAB.
select * from (t681-kotab) appending table <cond_tab>
up to 1 rows
where kappl = se_kappl
and kschl = se_kschl
and datbi >= se_date
and datab <= se_date
and (coding_tab).
The reason could be is someone has screwed up the entries in T681 table. Check that out.
Try to put a break point on this SELECT query and see what the value of T681-KOTAB holds before the SELECT query. Check whether such a table entry exists in DB.
Let me know if you are still stuck up.
If you can send me the ST22 dump of the run time error, i might be able to help you more on this.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Could you please help on this issue.
Thanks
SrinuHi Srinu,
it looks like you got the error message Schedule line &1 &2 is missing in table YVBEP while deleting the sales order.
It seems, that there are no SAP notes regarding this issue. Do you have this issue with all orders or with a single order?
If only a single order causes this issue, maybe something was wrong during an update.
If you get this error for many orders, then custom code (modification, enhancement, user exit in MV45AFZZ, ...) may be the reason for it.
If you have no custom code in module pool SAPMV45A, then contact SAP for this issue.

Any help ?
ThanksHello Jego.
We faced the same issue after upgrade to EHP1 SP07 last week and managed to solve it by modification of layout.jsp and com.sap.nw.wpc.layoutmanager.LayoutBean within com.sap.nw.wpc.designtime.par. SAP's code requires an additional catch handler, so it is better to rise an OSS message.
As a workaround you may change a default layout for wpc main page (good for new pages) or manually edit output.xml for existing pages.

Runtime Error when installing Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium
I am trying to install Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium, but I keep getting a 'Runtime Error!': This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
What should I do? Any help greatly appreciated! I am running Win 7, Service Pack 1, 64 bit.We cannot know. Your information is hugely insufficient. Check Your Windows Event Viewer and tell us the "fault module" plus provide detailed specs for your computer. Runtime errors usualyl mean that A DLL is missing, a security tool is blocking critical functions or that the processor is not compatible in teh first place. Just as well this could be a driver issue with your SATA bus or whatever.
