I'm facing a problem while trying to update data from a SUP server to a SAP backend. In design time I was able to connect to SAP backend, using the eclipse workspace and even get data from the backend.
The data is getting fetched on the emulator. But any update operation fails.
From the emulator the data is not being updated. It throws time out error (Request timeout while waiting for server response)
Even I tried increasing time out, it didn't work. It seems the syncronisation does not work.
In SCC log:
2011-11-29 11:40:41 ERROR MMS sup.mbs.7 [com.sybase.djc.log.SystemExceptionLog]java.lang.NoSuchMethodError was thrown by method
com.sybase.sup.server.mbs.MessageReceiver.process(javax.jms.Message)\njava.lang.NoSuchMethodError
But i don't know what it means.
Any help greatly appreciated.Hi Artem
Did you problem get solved? Am facing the exact issue."Request timeout while waiting for server response".
Am unable to proceed any further. Can you indicate how you were able to come out frm this error.
Thanks

Hello,
We just upgraded to PL45 patch. EVerything is fine, all clients can connect to the server. The only problem that we are having is with DI API. Whenever attempting to connect to DI API, we get this error:
"1006 Internal error (10): failed to load object: SAPbobsCOM.Company".
Seems something corrupt with DI API. I went through all the steps of installation to ensure nothing is missing. Could anyone give me some directions? thanks!!
SimonDear Simon,
In order to try to resolve the issue, please do the following steps :-
1. Go to Start -> Run and type "%temp%" > Delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder.
2. Uninstall SAP Business One client from Control panel >Add/remove
programs.
3. Uninstall SAP Business One DI API from the Control panel >
Add/remove Programs.
4. Reinstall the SAP Business One Client application from the B1_SHR
under C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\B1_SHR\Client
Then the DI API will be installed with the client application.
After that you can test this issue again.

Regards,
Mahesh.Hi,
Please follow this steps:
Creating RFC Destinations in the ABAP and Java Environment
You need to create the following RFC destinations in transaction SM59 (ABAP) and the Visual Administrator (Java):
u2022 AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER
u2022 AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
u2022 LCRSAPRFC
u2022 SAPSLDAPI
Depending on your client settings, it may be necessary to be logged on your SAP Exchange Infrastructure host as SAP system user with the authorization to maintain customizing tables and to release transport orders. Note, that user "SAP*" or "DDIC" does not have these authorizations.
Maintaining the RFC Connections (Transaction SM59)
1. Log on to your SAP Exchange Infrastructure central instance host.
2. Call transaction SM59.
3. Choose Create.
4. Enter at least the following:
RFC destination: AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER
Connection type: T
Description: <your description>
5. Choose ENTER
6. Choose the tab Technical settings and do the following:
a. Select Registered Server Program
b. In the Program ID field, enter: AI_RUNTIME_<SID> where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your Integration Server host. Use uppercase letters only.
c. Enter Gateway host and Gateway service of your Integration Server host. To find out the required parameters:
a. On the Integration Server host, call transaction SMGW
b. Choose Goto u2192 Parameters u2192 Display (see entries for gateway hostname and gateway service)
7. Choose tab Special Options and select the flag Unicode in the box Character Width in Target System.
8. Save your settings.
9. Repeat the steps 3 u2013 8 for the remaining destinations:
Destination
Values
AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
Program ID: AI_DIRECTORY_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host
LCRSAPRFC
Program ID: LCRSAPRFC_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host.
SAPSLDAPI
Program ID: SAPSLDAPI_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host.
10. Leave the transaction SM59 open for later tests.
J2EE Configuration for the Destinations (Visual Administrator)
1. On your SAP Exchange Infrastructure central instance host, start the J2EE Engine administration tool.
2. Choose Cluster u2192 Server u2192 Services u2192 JCo RFC Provider
3. In the section RFC destination, enter exactly the same program ID and gateway options for AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER that you used in the step Maintaining the RFC connection above. Additionally, set the number of processes to 10.
4. In the section Repository, do the following:
a. Enter the parameter for the SAP XI host: Application Server, System Number, Client and Language.
b. For User and Password maintain the login parameters for the user SAPJSF.
c. Select the flag Unicode.
6. Choose Set.
7. Repeat the steps 3 u2013 6 for the remaining destinations:
Destination
Values
AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
u2022 Number of processes: 10
LCRSAPRFC
u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
u2022 Number of processes: 3
SAPSLDAPI
u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
u2022 Number of processes: 3
Testing the RFC Destination
After you have maintained all RFC destinations in both the ABAP and Java environment, you can check all the connections above as follows:
1. Call transaction SM59 again.
2. Open your RFC destination.
3. Choose Test Connection. No error should be displayed.
This will solve your problem.
Thanks

Database Connection error in Crystal Reports using SAP BW system
Hi,
While using Crystal Reports in trying to build a report on the SAP Query in SAP/BW System using the MDX driver, I am able to get the structure of the query fields into the report but on the other hand while trying to refresh the report for data I am getting the error message u201C Failed to connect to the databaseu201D . This database connection error occurs despite the fact that the SAP server authentication details being entered on Refreshing the report is correct.
What could be the possible reason? Any guess...
Thanks,
AmoghHi,
Yes, I am using the MDX driver.
Is there any pre-requisites of importing certain ABAP transports into SAP Server since I haven't done any? Please recommend.
Thanks,

Forwarding FAX error message from SAP Connect to user outlook e-mail ID
Hello,
We have a few POs sent by FAX to vendors using top call .Some times FAX does not transmit the PO to vendor . The status of the message is updated as error in SAP connect( t-code SOST) . The user who released the PO or recreated the message is getting the mail to his/her SAP inbox with PO number XXXXXX is not trasmitted due to ............. .
The programs SX_OBJECT_STATUS_RECEIVE , SO_STATUS_DOC_SEND are getting the update from SAP connect , compiling the update message and sending mail to SAP inbox .
We ahve a requirement that the user be notifed to the outlook that the PO has not been transmitted to Vendor so that hey can take alternate action .
Is any one using this functionality or suggest a way to send only the FAX error messages to buyer/releaser to his/her outlook .
Thanks
Venkateswara Rao YeleswaramHi Thareq,

Error in BODS and SAP connectivity
Hi,
We are trying to fetch the data from SAP thru ETL tool BODS; while doing so we are facing the following issues :
1. While connecting to SAP RFCu2019s through BODS, we are getting the following error
u2018RFC CallReceive error <Function RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN : You do not have authorization for this functionu2026u2026> (BODI-1112339).
As per our understanding, this requires the privilege to execute the function RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN. ??
2. Also, we require to load the BODS functions(related to SAP) on SAP Server using CTS (Correction and Transfer System); as per help document given in technical manual of BODS. We are getting the error while importing the component in BODS as these functions are not available in SAP.Getting error like function module Z_AW_TABLE_IMPORT not found
We are following the instructions and we have the required files (R900XXX.SXX and K900XXX.SXX). But we do not find /usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles directories in SAP server.
How to achieve this in BODS ??
Also can you tell one thing that can we talk to SAP from BODS without importing the tables and metadata in BODS datastore ??
Urgent help required.
Thanks in advance
JagadeshHi
Experts..even i have the same requirement. But i am doing it wrt Master data.
There are two options:
Option - I: Your source data should give updated date and time(which is the case in my scenario) In the PSA you always load the Full data and in the start routine compare the data with the last update date and time and accordingly modify your data in teh target and then set the date and time to the last updated date and time.
Option - II: In the data service load job use another table called mirror table to and always compare the new data with the mirror table and send to BW only the changed records(Delta).
Btw i have an issue in loading hierarchy data to SAP BW.I have the same structure in the MSSQL but when executing the loas job it throws the following error :
Error while executing the following command: -Sd1 return code:75

ThankuHi hashit,
1 st Restart the Solman Server and go to command prompt. Then select the SAPROUTER drive ( D: > cd saprouter )
Currently, your SNC Saprouter process is not up and running, please stopyour saprouter process with command ' saprouter -s ' and restart it using the following with correct User.
D:saprouter> saprouter -r -V2 -K "p:CN=<hostname>, OU=<Number>, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"
Please note that to ensure you Saprouter process is running, you must not close the command prompt screen after you started the above. Once you closed the screen, your saprouter process is stopped and your connection to SAP is dropped.
Please try it and Let me know

SAP-OSS Connection error LB: Unexpected error in LG Layer.
Hi Gurus,
I am using Solman 3.2 on Oracle/Win 2003 server.
While doing Test connection for SAP-OSS Connection error "<b>LB: Unexpected error in LG Layer</b>" is coming.
<b>Please guide me through configuration steps .</b>
I am using following settings which is appearing by default:
Connection type 3

GauravHello Gaurav,
- in transaction SM59, delete the RFC destinations SAPOSS - in transaction OSS1 -> parameter -> technical settings, save the
actual configuration. After that, in SM59, test again the connection
Did you get this connection SAPOSS working before or this is the first try?
Check note 35010.
Hope this helps,

gateway service: sapgwxx

Also I am not able to register this program id in Visual Admin -> Services -> JCo RFC Provider. Here it is giving me an error. Can anyone guide me in this?
Points to be rewarded for any kind of small help. Thanks Ramesh.
I followed the blog. Here are the steps that I did.
RFC destination:
1. To create the RFC go to TCODE: SM59 <b>-> Done</b>2. Create new destination of type T (TCP/IP) <b>-> Done</b>
3. Make sure you select Registered Server Program option before writing your program ID <b>-> Done</b>
4. Write you program ID (remember it's case-sensitive) <b>-> gave the SID name</b>
5. In the gateway host and gateway service write the values of your "Application system" - business system (not the XI server) <b>-> Typed the gateway hostname and gateway service "sapgw<instance no>", that I got from SMGW.</b>
But still I face the same problem. It get the following error:
