OWB vanishing from comp screen while trying to validate mapping

Hi,
We are working on a remote OWB repository. It consists of source system tables from two databases, let these be DATABASE-1 and DATABASE-2. When we validate the mapping which have source table in DATABASE-1, then it gets validated correctly. But, the OWB application closes and vanishes from the computer screen if we validate the mappings which have source tables in DATABASE-2.
Can anyone please guide me in right direction, i.e. how to solve this problem and what may be the cause of this strange behaviour?

Hi,
The first source DRA DATABASE-1 is of Oracle9i (Enterprise Edition 9.2.0.5.0), and second DRA DATABASE-2 is of Oracle8i. And the target database is of Oracle9i (Enterprise Edition 9.2.0.5.0).
And OWB client is of version 9.2.0.4.0.
So, OWB vanishes when we try to validate mappings which have source tables in DATABASE-2, but the validation of mappings are successful for source tables in DATABASE-1.
The repository exists in UK and we are accessing it in India.
Can you please guide me how to solve this problem.

unfortunately - no
if the device is on ios 7.1 or above there's two things.
1) the device may be restored to factory settings - but the phone can't be activated. imei unlock is different to Iphone activatio. - your friend unlocked it to use any sim in any country. iOS 7 forces you to restore the phone and reimpit the original icloud login. This can only be solved if you a)forgot the login/changed it, and can prove to apple youre the owner; b) to get the original owner to deauthorize his account associated with the phone, on his/her computer.
2)if there's also a Passcode lock on the phone, and the last registered sim doesn't work (in the case of a stolen phone) - then it's impossible for you to do anything, full security = restore will lead to activation lock immediately. There's no bypass to it, the fake videos online only allow a bypass if the device was a 'jailbrokem' one - which would invalidate apple trying/ever wanting to help you.
if you know who the phone belonged to previously (usually comes up with the icloud username on it) then you can ask them to deactivate it.
otherwise, you have what we call - a brickb- won't even work as a super iPod touch

I am on Windows XP. Updated to latest iTunes but it would not install. Tried again and the system hung. I did a restart and iTunes had completely vanished from my system. Tried to do a new install but it won't finalise. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

OK, lets do a complete overhaul to make sure it's working ok.
First to check your Windows system file for any corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and see if it is ok.
If it doesn't, will have to go through the whole process of uninstalling and installing acccording to the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
(Referenceinstructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components)
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

Can't boot from Install Disc while trying to isntall a new hard drive...

So last week my macbook 4 froze. I powered it down and when restarting, got the grey screen and apple logo and spinning wheel underneath. After about 3 minutes the machine would just shut off.
I ran the AHT and got this error: 4hdd/11/40000004: SATA(0,0)
Searched around for a bit and the internet's consensus was that my hard drive has failed. I bought a new one today and can't seem to get up and running again.
With the new drive in and the Install Disc in, regular start up get's me the blinking folder.
Starting while pressing C, while pressing D, while doing any other combination just gets me the grey blinking folder with question mark.
When I start with OPTION key, I can see the boot from CD option but after selecting, I just get a plain grey screen. Not really sure where to go from here? Any advice is appreciated.

Perhaps the setting on the replacement hard disk drive is not correct
for the computer configuration you are using it in. There are such items
as jumper-pin settings: Master, Slave, auto-detect; and so on.
If the hard disk drive and the optical drive have a similar setting, neither
one could be in a position to do much.
Since I am unfamiliar with the correct settings for your computer, perhaps
someone who has more information and/or experience will reply to this.

I am getting a black screen while trying to play a game. Help me.

So, I am trying to play a game on my Macbook, from Late 2007, model A1181, OSX 10.6.7
Snow Leopard
2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Using an Intel GMA X3100
Now, this problem, I was actually running Leopard and trying to play Warcraft III: Frozen Throne and I was able to play it no problem at all. I reformatted my macbook recently and put in Snow Leopard and I actually played perfectly fine two days ago. I tried to play today, 2 of the times I tried, the screen turns black, but everything is still running, like I was skyping with a friend just to use the voice chat and then it just turned black and I was still able to talk to him. 1 of the times I tried, the computer just restarted itself and I tried looking it up online, but everyone's questions were for Windows on Mac or Macbook Pro and now I'm all out of ideas.

Uh...I actually don't think so because I don't know how to do it. Haha. Can you tell me how to do it? But yeah, I used to play it all the time, and actually I was trying to watch Netflix, and then I full-screened it, and I also got the black screen, so I don't think it's just games anymore. Do you think it could be the fan?? overheating? and as for settings in the game goes, I put it all down, no shadows, uhh I think all medium settings, but yeah nothing is on high for sure.

Green Screen while trying to watch videos

I have been having an issue with any videos (while playing) being green. On Explore, Facebook, Skype or anything else. If it allows me to watch a video than I do to see if it will eventually turn green but most of the time it wont let me. I thought it was maybe skype because thats where it started happening and than all videos started being green. I tried a few things that were suggested on questions on here but none worked. Any help is much appreciated.

Blue screen while trying to open the applications folder?

While using safari, or when clicking the Applications folder, my MacBook will turn completely blue and then go to the desktop as if it were just restarted. I tried installing fire fox to see if it was a safari thing but it still does it. I've called Apple but I cant even talk to someone without paying them because it's out of warranty. I'm not brilliant with Macs even though I have multiple products and there isnt an Apple store where I live. Any advice on how I can fix this problem?

i tried to update it not realizing i needed to connect to itunes so it was on the screen to connect to itunes all day during school til i got home and it wouldn't update so i restored it 5 times and then it wont charge/ connect or restore at all

If there is no passcode on the device, then try making a backup to iTunes. Once you have the backup (or if it's passcode locked and you can't make a backup), then use iTunes to restore the device to factory settings. You may have to use Recovery Mode to do so if there's a passcode on the device (alternatively if you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use icloud.com to remote wipe the device).
Once it's erased, see if you can set it up as new, and test the touch display. If the touch display is still non-responsive after it's been set up as new, then your device has a hardware failure and needs to be serviced or replaced. If you are still within warranty with Apple, it should be a free replacement. If not, then expect to pay $199 USD + tax for a replacement.

Black screen while trying to install LE8

Installation was close to completion when the screen went black. This is nearly an hour ago and no further progress has occurred. Can't find anything useful in faq or elsewhwhere.
Any ideas? Haven't touched the Mac in question yet.

Final update.
Problem appears to have been caused by some Apple Loops which may have been corrupted. Anyway, they were present in the Loops folder, but didn't appear in GarageBand.
Simply ditching those didn't lead to a clean install however, so A reinstall of GarageBand was carried out, followed by repairing permissions and installing LE8; cleanly this time.
Remains to be seen what happens when my partner re-installs the Jam Packs and 3rd part Loops.

Try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. It appears that you may need to force the device into recovery mode and restore it so you can finish the activation process. Something went wrong, and I cannot think of anything else to do.

Your possibilities are restore form your iTunes backup and then sync your content back to the iPad from iTunes. Or restore from your iCloud backup and all of your content will be downloaded again to the device when you restore. Or, if you don't sync or backup, start downloading all of you purchased content using the same Apple ID that you used to buy it originally.

How do you get Internet Explorer 9 from shutting down while trying to print from Smart Print button?

I'm using Internet Explorer 9, and have the latest Smart Print button on my Bing Bar. When I click on Smart Print to print a page, it lets me go through the entire process of choosing what I want to print, and lets me click on print, which brings me to the print options, but when I click on the final print button, I get a Microsoft error message saying "Internet Explorer has stopped working" message and it closes down my opened page. My Photoshop CS6 disappeared from my screen. I can't get it back.

CS6 disappeared from my screen while I was in mid-edit. When I try to open CS6 now nothing happens. Adobe has been sending me prompts about some sort of trial period option. I ignored the prompts. I assumed they were trying to sell me some new software or participation in their Cloud service. I do not need any additional software at this time. But now I'm guessing these Adobe prompts were a warning of some kind. I have been under the impression that I purchased CS6 and didn't need to take any further action to continue to use it. I'm confused. I need to get back to my photo editing ASAP. What do I do now?

So, you did purchase Photoshop. When was that, one month ago?
Did you enter the serial number and activate it?
If you did not do so, it was in trial mode, and worked for a month, and gave you a prompt to activate.
