OWB won't take mapping changes on first attempt

Hello,
Here is my problem: mapping that was previously validated, deployed and executed successfully requires a minor change. As an example, let's say, I want to change the default value of the column in "Key Lookup" object: from default null to 0. I clearly apply this change, then validate my mapping again, then go to the "Deployment Manager", re-deploy the mapping (with option "replace") and execute. When I verify the execution result - the change I've applied to the mapping was NOT taken. When I do the same second time, it does go thru successfully. I ran into this problem many times - the first attempt to make changes to the mapping almost never goes thru. I had to do it twice on regular bases.
I'm wondering if anyone has been thru the same problem? Am I doing something wrong?
The version of OWB is 10.1.0.1.0, the database is 9iR2 (9.2.0.7)
Thanks for help.

This is a quirk with OWB that I've grown accustomed to. It seems like sometimes if you make a change to an operator, it doesn't save it. I usually double-check my changes before deploying.
If I make a big change to an expression, I'll copy it to the clipboard, leave the expression editor, then open it back up to check it. If I lost the change, I'll paste it back in, then do it again. For some reason, it always seems to work on the second try.
I am using an older version of OWB (9.2.0.8, I think).

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

• Table Properties won't take my changes

I often find RH's table feature a bit... uncooperative.
Today, when I specify the cell border style, it doesn't reject my
input, but when I close and open the input box, my specs are gone.
If anyone knows what causes this, I'd like to hear it.

You might want to post what "the obstacle" was, and how you
resolved it (to help other writers who might experience the same
issue). That would be a more meaningful "Answer," don't you think?
Good luck,

• I changed my apple I'd but the iCloud I'd didn't change. Now the old I'd won't take the password

I changed my apple I'd but the iCloud I'd didn't change now the old I'd won't work-help

To change your iCloud ID and/or password, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. Deleting the account will only delete the account and any iCloud data from your iPad, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.
If, however, you are changing to a new account, when you deleted the existing account be sure to choose Keep on My iPad, then set up the new account and choose Merge when you turn on data syncing again.
Also, if you have any photos in your my photo stream album that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll before deleting the account by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.

• How come when i enter artist info and I hit the tab button, it won't take me to the other colum like the song title or genre.

When in my library, I am trying to change the information on the artist and song title, etc. But when I hit the tab button, it won't take me to the next column. It always used to take me to the next column to change that info. I also don't know what happened to my autofill. You know when you have a artist already saved on your itunes and you just type the first few letters it will show the artist that's already saved. It won't do that either.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Someone recently noted a problem staying logged on the Huffington Post since it became connected with AOL. The workaround for that is to change your connection setting here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network
Click the "Settings" button and choose either "No Proxy" or "Use System Settings" option, and OK the change.
Not sure whether Washington Post could be affected by that same setting.
In reviewing your extensions, I'm puzzled that you have both DoNotTrackMe and SavvyConnect. The first one seems to aggressively block certain communications with websites (potentially affecting functionality) while the second one seems to report on your browsing habits (they better pay well is all I can say). Have you tried disabling both of those to see whether that has any effect?

OK, please do a couple of administrative things once you have changed your password. First is update your profile. You can easily do that by clicking Your Stuff in the upper right then click Profile and update as needed. This saves us a lot of time!

I changed my ICloud account ID but my new phone won't let me change it unless I put in my old password and turn off the find my phone feature. But the phone will not recognize my old password. Can someone help me?

New iPhones don't come setup with an Apple ID/Password. What you're experiencing is called Activation Lock, & unless you know the original Apple ID/Password that was originally used to first activate this phone, you won't be able to reactivate it.
You can login to iCloud.com, from any computer, use Find My Phone to locate & erase the phone. But, you'll still need to know the original Apple ID/Password to reactivate it.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh.

My husband changed the Apple ID on our computer. For some reason, iCloud has the old Apple ID and it won't let me change it. I've been locked out of my iPad twice and had to restore it because of iCloud. How do I change the Apple ID (not the password)?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

• ICloud won't let me change my logon email address

I reverted to an old backup and now iCloud wants to use an old email address for my login. I can't logon as a result and I can't figure out how to change it. Game Center, iTunes, etc. are all using the right one. But iCloud won't let me change it. I have tried to delete the account, but it won't let me unless I logon first (which I can't do). I have tried restoring network settings, privacy settings, and content settings. I have also tried to revert back to a more recent backup, but I can't until I turn on the "Find my iPhone" function, which require me to login to iCloud. Help!

• Sprint Won't Take My Money

They won't take it! I'll be headed to purchase an iPhone tomorrow, not because it's the phone I want, but because it's the only phone I can get.
Here's the situation:
I'm a young guy, and I've been using a phone on my parents family plan for years. It was time to sign up for a plan of my own and I figured why not grab the amazing Palm Pre at the same time? So I went to a Sprint store, filled out the paperwork, and everything seemed fine. Then I told them I wanted to use the phone number on my parents plan. They informed me that I would never get a Palm Pre with that phone number for the discounted price until my parents contract expired.
This wasn't an attempt to "upgrade early." My parents signed a contract for 2 lines, a received 1 free phone for doing so. They would keep these lines active and honor that contract in full. I wasn't trying to "split" off one line into a new account before the contract expired and still qualify for the Palm Pre for $200. I just wanted my old number on my new line and the people that currently had the number, my parents, had no problem with this.
I begged and pleaded with Sprint to let me own your phone. They agree that I qualify for the discount and were ready to give it to me. I passed their credit check. I had authorization from the account holder, standing right beside me, to give me that phone number. They just wouldn't do it.
The only way they'll let me have both the phone and the number is if my Parents cancel their contract early. Or, if I pay the full price of the phone. They would rather lose me as a customer for life and 2 other 10-year customers along with me, rather than change a phone number.
This is a company you have partenered with to make money literally refusing to sell your phone to me. I can't believe that this was the intent of your arrangement with Sprint.
I hope someone considers experiences like mine when you decide whether to open up the phone to other carriers.
Unfortunately, I'll be stuck on th front end of an AT&T contract with a new iPhone in my pocket by the time that comes to pass :/
Sorry Palm, I tried!
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

I've read that Sprint has some customer support specialists whose job it is to retain good customers, and they can "fix" situations that appear hopeless in the store. I don't remember reading how you reach the retentions department, but you Google around, you might find the answer to that. Whatever you decide, enjoy the experience of getting your own bill.

• Speakers no longer working on Mac- weird symbol won't let me change volume

Hello
First off, I am not super computer savy!
My mac's internal speakers are no longer working. The volume control has faded in color, and when I try to press the volume buttons on the keyboard, it won't let me change the volume and there is a weird circle with a line through it. When I reboot the computer makes the reboot sound. I have tried tinkering around with the system preferences, but it is not muted, and it won't let me adjust the volume at all. This happened once before, the other day. Came out of nowhere and started working after about 10 minutes. Any suggestions! Much appreciated

Hi,
What output do you receive if you enter this command in the Terminal (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal.app):

codesign -vvv Safari.app

If Safari has been modified, such as by a Safari enhancer program, this command should inform you.
If that is the case, try reinstalling the Safari package from the 10.5 installer DVD. This article relates to reinstalling Safari from the 10.4 DVD, but the principle is the same.
