(OWB10gR2)-Cannot deploy in table, error RPE-01010 ?

Hi,
I validates and generates successfully and deploy it marks Error RPE-01010: It is not permitted to deploy database objects directly to the Control Center
I am in Design Center not in Control Center. Because this happens?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Celia Avila
(Excuse my English is bad )

If I understood you right, you did not manage the differnece between design repository and target schema.
Design Repository holds all your metadata, the Target Schema is the schema you actually load data into.
You'll have to prepare a target schema using the Repository Assistant. Don't try to load data into your design repository.

  • Deploying Business Definition error: RPE-02150: Failed to connect

    During deploying a business definition module, I encountered an error message like this: "RPE-02150: Failed to connect with user EUL_FROM_OWB, password ***, connection null. Disco export file 2230.eex written to directory owb/deployed_files."
    I have 10.2 as the database, OWB R2, and OracleBI Discoverer 10g (10.1.2.2).
    In fact, I did not have problem previously when I was using database 10.1.
    Any hints? Thanks.
    John

    I hope this will find you in good faith...
    I have tried a workaround on this issue and it worked fantastically.
    The error message in Control Centre will generate an .eex file.
    Before you deploy your objects make sure you've selected the Business Area and the Items you want to deploy, and then deploy.
    Once done, locate your eex file and manually import this file via Oracle Discoverer Administrator.
    hope this will help

  • Error VLD-0917 (unknown error)  while deploying FACT table

    Hi,
    I keep getting this error while trying to deploy a FACT table:
    VLD-0917: An unknown error occured while generating <fact table name>.
    An unknown error occurred while generating <fact table name>. Error details: java.lang.NullPointerException.
    Do yo know what can it be? This fact table was linked to a Dimension that I modified (added one more level to its hierarchy). Since I did this change, the fact table cannot be validated.
    This happens to all fact tables that use this dimension. I created a new cube with the new definition of the dimension and had no trouble at all. I disassociate the dimension from existing cubes and they validate OK. What could be happening?
    I would appreciate any help you could provide.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    I realized that I'm getting this error for all fact tables. I cannot deploy any of them. What could be happening? I have a dimension that is linked to all facts which I changed recently: had to redefine its default hierarchy as a value-based one. I don't know if this affected my cubes.
    Any idea what might be happening here?

  • Cannot use duplicate table name error in AMDP

    Hi Experts,
    I'm developing an application which has the following architecture
    SAP UI5->Gateway->ABAP Managed DB procedures(AMDP)->HANA SP(Stored Procedure)
    We are having a very peculiar problem where the gateway service works inconsistently for the same input data.
    i.e If I execute the same service n number of times, I get the results successfully for say n-3 times but the other 3 times I get a "RFC Error :Error while executing Database procedure"
    There is no change in the input data or DB table data during all the executions.
    Running the stored procedure stand alone in HANA studio works all the time.
    We tried executing the AMDP from SE24 and the same behavior occurred.
    When trouble shooting we found that the exception occurs inside the AMDP when the call db procedure statement is executed.
    Could you please advise what could be the possible reason for this any tuning parameter/unavailability of db connections?
    Or could you please suggest some other troubleshooting mechanism by which we can zero in on the cause?
    When I go in the debug mode I can see the exact error as
    cannot use duplicate table name:  [288] SAPXXX.ZCL_PLAN_MAINTENANCE=>GET_COMP_TYPE#stub#20140905055908: line 15 col 3 (at pos 492): cannot use duplicate table name exception:
    where ZCL_PLAN_MAINTENANCE=>GET_COMP_TYPE is the AMDP class and method. SAPXXXis the schema.

    There are several different problems mentioned above. Did you have them all?
    >instalei o Scribus de http://www.scribus.net/ refiz o documento nele e pronto, gerou PDF e arquivos de publicação, para gráfica , FUNCIONA muito bem excelente
    I installed Scribus from ..., remade the document in it, and soon it generated PDFs and files for publication, for graphics, IT WORKS very well excellent
    Good for you, your problem seems to be solved.

    >...certamente não existirá mais um suporte adequado às nossas necessidades nem desenvolvimento, nem sequer estarão preocupados com as compatibilidades e as nossas intermináveis horas produzindo documentos
    it's clear that Adobe reccomends to move on to In_Design but, apart of the additional cost, we must remember the hundreds of files we have and that we will probably loose...
    ... certainly there will no longer be adequate support for our need for development, not even a concern about compatibilities and the endless hours we have spent producing documents
    Well, it has been commented for years now that PageMaker is an obsolete program. It's all right for you to rant, but you certainly knew what you were doing when you kept on using it despite the many warnings.

    Please read message #7 above. And if you need further help, don't forget to give details about your setup. For example: are you using PageMaker in 9.2.2, or in OSX Classic? What OS version? What PageMaker version?

  • Error in Deploying External Table

    Hi,
    I am using OWB 10.2g version to create a database. While deploying the external table, I got the following message:
    "TSS_15MIN_EX     ErrMsgKey     VLD-0180: A default location is required for external tables."
    Could you help me in solving this issue?
    Thanks,
    Vipul

    Hi Sutirtha,
    I tried to double click on the external table (in the Control Center) but nothing happens. I could only right click and select the only highlighted "Configure" option. In the configure option, only the following file locations turn up that all uses default file location:
    Bad File Location
    Discard file location
    Log file location
    To give you a head start, It is the first time that we are deploying these tables as we are in a process of migrating the server to a different machine. In our current server, all these external tables are probably in C:\ or directed in C:\ but we have changed the path to D:\ in the new server. Do you think it has to do something while we import the metadata?
    Thanks,
    Vipul

  • Cannot deploy process flow package specification from file

    Deployment via a specification file is a must due to license and architecture requirements.

    Its woked fine for me for OWB 10.2.0.4 .... some steps are missing from code like
    when you are connecting again it should be

    OMBDISCONNECT

    OMBCONNECT CONTROL_CENTER $CONN_TARGET_RTI think you can try the same on different system .

    Thanks much

    The problem is the sequence cache when cloning a database as was the case here.
    The cache is purged resulting in an invalid "last_cached_value".
    The seq has to be manually incremented until it "pulls" a value 1 above.
    The same problem was the case with a few sequences in the owbsys schema as well.
    Having done this execise I could deploy all my WF.

    Did anybody faced this problem before??
    Thanks,
    Sam.

    Its two years old . Looking at the error .. I think there are two parts to it..as far as i remember
    1) I was trying to run unix script using PF and if you look carefully at the error there is reference to "C:\OraHome_1"
    This was because due the OWB_HOME was not set correctly in the repository.
    You can check by running service_doctor.sql in your <owb_home>/owb/rtp/sql
    if you are path is not set correctly then run the set_ccs_home.sql from the same directory to set it to right path.
    2) I was running it from local control center locally ..I still don't rember how i deployed it and don't have that version of OWB to test it.
    But again fixing the Control Center home and starting the service on server (db target where OWB repository was installed) fixed it.
    All the best :-)

  • Error RPE-01012

    For the error: Error RPE-01012
    Only alternative is to install the schema owb destination of the data?
    I can normally work with two different schemas?
    Edited by: user12284653 on 19/04/2011 10:14

    OWB 11.2.
    I have two servers, on one server (S1) locate Source (DB Oracle), other (S2) - Data Warehouse (DB Oracle).
    On S2 installed OWB repository and Control Center. On S1 I made some mappings (load data from S1 to S2).
    I want to deploy these mapping, but get this error:
    RPE-01012: Cannot deploy to the target location because it is owned by a different runtime platform...
    As I understand it, I can load data only from one schema to another schema, and these must locate in one instance. And OWB repository and CC locate there too.
    Yes, this is so? o_O

    Hi Anuj,
    Thanks for your reply!
    I found that the data source is registered on server soa_server1 as follows:
    Binding Name: jdbc.soademoDatabase
    Class: weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource_1033_WLStub
    Hash Code: 80328036
    toString Results: ClusterableRemoteRef(8348400613458600489S:10.2.1.143:[8001,8001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]:base_domain:soa_server1 [8348400613458600489S:10.2.1.143:[8001,8001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]:base_domain:soa_server1/291])/291
    Binding Name: jdbc.SOADataSource
    Class: weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource_1033_WLStub
    Hash Code: 92966755

    I don't know how to determine which server the DBAdapter is targetted to.
    But I found the following information:
    Under Deoloyment->DBAdapter->Monitoring->Outbound Connection Pools
    Outbound Connection Pool Server State Current Connections Created Connections
    eis/DB/SOADemo AdminServer Running 1 1
    eis/DB/SOADemo soa_server1 Running 1 1
    eis/DB/soademoDatabase AdminServer Running 1 1
    eis/DB/soademoDatabase soa_server1 Running 1 1
    The DbAdapter is related to the following files:
    C:\ Oracle\ Middleware\ home_11gR1\ Oracle_SOA1\ soa\ connectors\ DbAdapter. rar
    C:\ Oracle\ Middleware\ home_11gR1\ Oracle_SOA1\ soa\ DBPlan\ Plan. xml
    I unzipped DbAdapter.rar, opened weblogic-ra.xml and found that there's only one data source is registered:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <weblogic-connector xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90">
    <enable-global-access-to-classes>true</enable-global-access-to-classes>

    <max-capacity>1000</max-capacity>
    </pool-params>

                   </property>
                   </properties>
              </connection-properties>
    </connection-instance>
    </connection-definition-group>
    </outbound-resource-adapter>
    </weblogic-connector>
    Then I decided to use eis/DB/SOADemo for testing.
    For JDeveloper project, after I deployed to weblogic server, it works fine.
    But for OSB project referencing wsdl, jca and mapping file from JDeveloper project, still got the same error as follows:
    BEA-380001: Invoke JCA outbound service failed with application error, exception:
    com.bea.wli.sb.transports.jca.JCATransportException: oracle.tip.adapter.sa.api.JCABindingException: oracle.tip.adapter.sa.impl.fw.ext.org.collaxa.thirdparty.apache.wsif.WSIFException: servicebus:/WSDL/DBAdapterTest/DBReader [ DBReader_ptt::DBReaderSelect(DBReaderSelect_inputParameters,PersonTCollection) ] - WSIF JCA Execute of operation 'DBReaderSelect' failed due to: Could not create/access the TopLink Session.

    You may need to configure the connection settings in the deployment descriptor (i.e. DbAdapter.rar#META-INF/weblogic-ra.xml) and restart the server. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a modelling mistake.
    It almost drive me crazy!!:-(
    What's the purpose of 'weblogic-ra.xml' under the folder of 'C:\Oracle\Middleware\home_11gR1\Oracle_OSB1\lib\external\adapters\META-INF'?

  • Cannot deploy vs2010 dacpac via sqlpackage.exe

    Hi Forum,
    I've got a project that must use Visual Studio 2010. I am using a data tier application project for my SQL database. Deployment of the dacpac via Visual Studio 2010 works without any problems, even pre/post scripts works correct.
    I can also manually deploy the dacpac via SSMS wizard. The dac is correctly registered and deployed. Only the pre/post scripts don't work, but if you upgrade right after deployment the scripts are executed.
    Now I want to to deploy the dacpac via sqlpackage.exe. So I can script the deployment of the dacpac that can be executed from some other guys. But I cannot deploy a Visual Studio 2010 compiled dacpac via sqlpackage.exe. I've got always the error message
    that a SQL Server 2012 project cannot be deployed on SQL Server 2008. It's totally curious, because I can deploy the same dacpac file via VS2010 or SSMS. But in Visual Studio 2010 I cannot define the SQL Server version for a data tier project. If I upgrade
    the same data tier project to Visual Studio 2012, set the target version to 2008 and recompile, then I can deploy the new dacpac file via sqlpackage.exe without any errors. But I must use Visual Studio 2010, so I need another workaround for my deployment problem.
    Hope someone knows some solution to that problem. Many thanks in advance!
    regards,

    Hi ,
    You post the same question 2 times, please avoid this practice on Forum. Due to the website,
     we could not merge this thread into  following thread.
    Duplicate thread:

    Since the issue regards SQL Server Data tools, we post the question in the SQL Server Data tools forums. It is appropriate and more experts will assist you. Thanks for your understanding.
    In addition, as you post, in VS 2010, we could not set the target SQL Server version for a data tier project. If you use VS 2010 and deploy a higher version dacpac project on lower SQL Server version, the error will occur. I recommend you upgrade the lower
    SQL Server version for deploy dacpac. Or if you just want to move the higher SQL Server database to the lower version. We can use the Generate Scripts wizard of SQL Server Management Studio. For more information, see:
