Own two devices. Have three in cloud - which are mine?

I own two devices. We cannot find one. The issue is, when I go to icloud, I see three. Is it possible that I am seeing my "old" device, even though it has been wiped clean and It does not have my SIM card in it? Or is this my new device with old SIM card?
What I'm trying to figure out is the two I can locate - is one of them mine? or is it an older device (it appears - to be a iphone 3gs in the picture next to the device - which would be my "old" device).
The third device is "offline" which is very possible - that this third device is just off.
But for the one I can see, I think its weird that I can still see and locate a phone (and potentially lock and send a message too) that I no longer own - without my SIM card, and that was wiped clean...

Separate Apple ID's will result in separate notes. However when you first start with separate ID's unless one of you erases the notes you have, you will both start off with the same set of notes, but from then onwards each set won't sync with each other.

Problem with Signing in itunes with my id. After signing in it does Not Show the Apple id and they are asking 3 Times if i wanna download Songs I have already bought but which are not on this iphone

Dear community, I'm experiencing a problem since 2 days, that if I sign in in my iTunes account with my Apple ID on my iPhone it doesn't show at the end if scrolling down the ID details and credit anymore. If I try to download songs I bought once but which are not on this device anymore, it asks me 3 times for the ID and password. I fill it in but at the end nothing happens. I see only in the middle a moving symbol.
What can I do? Apple ID and password are correct . I canceled all settings but same as before.

Two(may be three) serious problems which hazard user experience badly in IOS 5

First, when add "Google Translate" web page (translate.google.com) to home screen, After I use four finger gesture to slice to other app and then slice back, the original web app freeze. The same problem not only exists in Google Translate, but also in all the other web apps.
Second, each time I slice to other app from iBook(.app) in iPad when viewing PDF with letters instead of pictures, still first the clear buffer is displayed and then the BLURRED picture, at last the clear picture. Why cannot just add more time to buffering, to allow the PDF document to get fully rendered, instead of showing us the "CLEAR" "BLURRED" "CLEAR", which really badly hurt my experience after using several hours.

Wondering why would slice frequently between apps when using iBook? Because I need to use a dictionary to look for words, considering the fact that iBook can't even select any word, leaving behind the inner quick-look-up dictionary function when viewing PDFs. This is actually another shortage to improve, but please improve the preceding two first.

Couldn't agree more. I've been *trying* to use location reminders ever since buying my iPhone 4S but as yet, out of many, many attempts they've only actually worked once.
The kid problem is very simple, the way the phone needs the location to be an address in your address book, and it's subsequent inability to correctly locate the address. My home address is a correct postal address, and has been unchanged for 40+ years, yet clicking on my address from my own contact entry puts my location some distance down my street.
Whilst I understand the issue with the address lookup, it seems to be a massive problem with the location based reminders as it's just not possible to set useful reminders.
What if I want to remind myself of something when I arrive at the car park on a shopping trip? There is no address for that in my contacts, I just want to pinpoint the location on the maps and say 'remind me when I get there'. Surely that's the simplest my far. Same with address book contacts, if you had a field with the gps position in then one could tag the locations and know they were 100% accurate for location services.
Such a shame as it's one of the key reasons I upgraded my phone and as it stands it just plain doesn't work.

Do I have to change my IPhone 4S Name after restore backup from IPhone 3GS?Or is it irrevelant if two devices have the same name?

Im scared to sync my ipod to my itunes as ive already synced my iphone to it and i dont want to loose all info on my ipod.
i want ALL the songs to be put in both my iphone and ipod.. (as i recently changed computers not all my songs are on the one computer)
is there anyway of doing this? or do i have to wait for the icloud? or put all my songs on the one computer?

connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

How to have fact and dimension which are not joined in same report

suppose we have 2 dimensions and 1 of them is joined to fact but we want to pull both these dimensions along with fact and fact column shows null but we dont want that .how can we have 2nd dimension which is not joined to fact in the same report .Actually i have a column called equipment schedueled time and it can be shown only with equipment dimension but I want to pull both equipment,geography and equipment scheduled time in report if I do it now it shows equipment scheduled time as null because its not joined with geography dimension.I want even if the geography dimension exists it should show the value of equipment scheduled time .

Can you please tell me what are fact and dimension tables of your requirement.If you want display the data from 2 dims and a fact table ,you have to establish the joins between facts and dimensions.

The only way to restore the preloaded apps is to do a factory restore. Alternatively you can download it via PlayStore.

Can I sync two WIN 7 64 bit PCs which are on an Ethernet HomeGroup?

1) 7 different e-mail accounts
2) both machines typically are on when one is
3) It is possible to add a NAS to the network or one of the PCs could function as 'server'
4) it would be handy to be able to get on the e-mail from whichever PC I am working on but not essential
5) I'd like to avoid having to send e-mails from one machine to the other if different accounts cannot be open simultaneously.

The simplest way is to use IMAP for each e-mail account, on both computers.

Two Device Backups on 1 TC?

I have two devices, an iMac, a MacBookAir which also has a remote HD and I want to be able to create separate Backups for each device.

They can both be backed up using Time Machine to the same backup drive. Just set up their respective Time Machine preferences to use the same backup device. Be sure the Time Capsule is mounted. Each machine will have its own separate backup folder created on the Time Capsule or backup drive.

R6870 DVI+DVI+HDMI - Any two displays of three?

I just installed an MSI R6870 and connected three displays (2 x DVI + 1 x HDMI) and wanted to extend the desktop across all three screens. Unfortunately it appears I can any two of the three but not all three at the same time.
What am I missing?
Help needed really quickly or card gets returned today.

The specific model of MSI R6870 from which I attempted to drive three 1900x1200 LCD monitors from is: R6870 Twin Frozr II

First: The quick answer for the person who is in this thread trying to learn if you can drive three monitors with the R6870. Yes but you probably need something very specific to make it work. Read on:
Chances are (if you're like me) you have three LCD monitors which can be connected as either DVI or HDMI. This R6870 card (and most like it) can only drive two of these types of monitors. For a third you need an ACTIVE adapter to connect between one of the Mini-DisplayPort points (on the card) and your DVI cable for your third monitor. I still don't have a proper grasp on what is Active about an Active adapter but one can be had for ~$30 (yes an Active one) see http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815309008.
Reminding everyone of the problem. I bought the R6870 with the intent to drive three 1900x1200 LCD monitors. The box, sales person and such all suggested that the card was capable of 4 monitors, so three should be easy - right? WRONG. I connected up my three monitors and and found I could drive any two of the three. I spent a good deal of time trying differing combinations and rebooting but you'll still only be able to get two of three.
Then there was the suggestion that I needed Mini-DisplayPort (MDP) to DVI patch cable (something I think should have been in the box). Anyway, off I went to best buy and paid a silly amount of money for two (MDP > DVI and MDP > HDMI). Returned, connected up and still could only drive any two of my three monitors.
At this point I gave up, removed the card and got ready to return it. Subsequently (via email and additional posts) I have learned a little more and ordered a POWERCOLOR Video Adapter ACTIVE MDP TO SL DVI-D ADAPTER-C Mini DisplayPort to DVI Interface for $27 from NewEgg. This theoretically should address my problem - I'll return to report the result.
I remain disheartened that what I consider to be an obvious stumbling block isn't properly addressed in the product material - it's a trust issue - I feel I wasn't properly informed and I hold ATI and MSI responsible - Rather than suffering this turmoil I would have happily have paid the additional $30 for for Active MDP>DVI adapter at the beginning. I know "Caveat Emptor" but this feels more like I was sold a car based on claims that it had four airbags only to discover "after an accident" that two of the airbags required specialized aftermarket wiring before they would work.

I had my ipod touch and iphone synced to itunes on my computer that just bit the dust...If I don't replace the computer, can I still add stuff to these two devices?

I had my ipod touch and iphone synced to itunes on my PC and basically managed my photos and music, etc. from there. However recently my computer died and I am considering replacing it with an ipad eventually. Can I still add stuff onto my two devices? And if so, am I limited to apple store purchases only? Can I retain all the photos and non-apple store downloaded music that is presently on these two devices? Any guidance in this area will be very welcome!

Music imported from a CD or another source
iTunes cannot transfer this media back to a computer. Make sure to back up your iTunes Library, or you can use iTunes Match2.

i would like to retrieve a field say X from two database tables TAB1 and TAB2 which are unrelated . Can you give me a way to retrive the field X from TAB1 and TAB2 in a single select statement on perticular condition.

If the field is in two tables,you can use for all entries. But anyway two select statemetns are needed.
If you want single select statement, try using subquery.
