P-Card in SRM 7.0 ECS

Dear forum members,
Can someone help me by providing details of how the new supported process for p-cards works in the extended classic scenario (ECS) for SRM 7.0?
I have seen a blog from SAP saying it is supported now for ECS but cannot find any process or configuration docs on this at all.
Many thanks,
Nick

  • Procurement Card in SRM 5.0 Classic Scenario

    Dear Gurus,
We want to configure Procurement Card in SRM 5.0 Classic Scenario. Please help me with the following doubts:
    1. Is it possible to configure P-card in Classic scenario?
    2. If yes, then what are the steps involved to get P-card as payment option in SC and P-card settlement? (backend is ECC6.0)
    3. Are there any enhancements/customizations required to get P-card in Classic scenario?
Will be grateful for a speedy answer.

  • SRM 7.0 ECS TAXWARE INTEGRATION

    Hello Friends,
Can you please guide me through the settings i need to make for tax calculation using taxware in SRM 7.0 ECS.
we are moving from classic to ECS . what would be the best practice for the tax calculation? can we directly integrate taxware to SRM or do we have to go through R/3. Please share your valuable suggestions
    Thanks

    Hi deepusrm7,
We just recently have been doing the same scenario as yourself.  We are moving from Classic Scenario to Extended Classic.  Our ERP system uses VERTEX for calculating tax and determination of the tax jurisdiction code on the delivery address as well as the vendor address with holds the from tax jurisdiction.
From what I understand so far you have to have at least theVertex system connected to the ERP system so that when you setup the vendor masters, plants and storage addresses that they will get the tax jurisdiction from Vertex.
You need the SRM system connected to Vertex in the case you want to calculate the tax on the shopping cart and local ECS purchase order.  I think it may even default the tax jurisdiction on the delivery addresses when you set them up but I haven't tested this just yet.
I hope this information helps.  If you need configuration information I have that just let me know.

  • Procurement(P) card Implementation SRM Classic & SAP R3

    Hi,
I am looking for Pcard Implementation for SRM 4.0 Classic scenario .
Anyone have experience about the PCard Impementation for SRM or SAP R/3 ?
We have following queries related to PCard Implementation :-
    1. How to get file from bank having transaction details ?(Communication between Bank & SRM)
    2. How it would be handled for collective invoice against single procurement ?
    3. Posting invoice to SRM/SAP R/3 using Idoc/BAPI ?
    4. And also how the flexibity to change the account assignment will be provided in SRM/SAP R/3 ?
I observed using Third Party tool its possible but we are looking without Third party tool .

  • P Card in SRM

    Hi All,
I have configured the Pcard in SRM . On SRM Server ->Procurement Card ->Process Procurement Card i can not maintain the local currency. It is grayed out. This is a problem because when I create invoice using BAPI " BAPI_PCSTAT_CREATE" I get error "Currency ZAR does not correspond to card currency" because the card currency is blank.
I have also noticed that the purchase order does not get updated with invoice infomation or purchsing card. Is this standard behavior ? Once the invoice is ceated how does it reconcile the invoice with the purchase order
    Thanks

  • Draft PO in srm 7.0 ecs

    Hi Gurus,
Is it mandatory to use the sourcing cockpit to create a draft PO?
what is the difference between a Draft PO and SRM Local PO( created after shopping cart approval)?
we have a requirement that PO needs to be completed and approved by asset manager before it gets routed for other manager approvals(local signature mandates), in this case can we use the Local PO generated to route through the completion and approval process or do we have to use Draft PO?
    Thanks in advance
    Deepu

    Hi,
The difference is a draft can still be changed, it isn't ordered yet and therefore not yet awaiting any possible necessary approval. Draft and saved are maybe most similar however draft isn't a real document status. A local po is an ordered PO that while in approval can still be changed and re-ordered, however after being completely approved it will receive the status 'ordered' and can't be changed anymore.
You could use any workflow per business object, the local po is just as much a BUS2201 document as a draft PO is. To answer your final question; Yes i think it's possible.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • SRM 5.0 ECS - copy of purchase order to requisitioner

    Hi everybody,
I have a question for transmission of purchase orders from SAP SRM.
We have a SAP SRM 5.0 with extended classic scenario. Now we have to send a copy of the purchase order to the requisitioner in the same moment we send the purchase order to the supplier. Is there a solution only with customizing possible or is programming necessary? In case of customizing solution is possible - what we have to do?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Best regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
I am not sure if there is any customization possible for your requirement . Your requirement looks like needs modification of the standard program RSPPFPROCESS. basically in the program where email is sent genarated you will have to put the option of cc in it.

  • Heuristics deleting Preq-deletes Shopping card in SRM

    Hello Everybody,
I need help on following issue.
In my project we have SRM and APO integration which is not having source of supply(SOS) assigned is being getting SOS from SRM system.
Here APO system is generation PR for such material and respective shopping cart (SC) is getting created in SRM system. But in SRM its not converting it to PO immediately is reflecting deleting PR into APO in next Heuristics run and also SRM respective SC also getting deleted.
i am planning to change the Date of APO generated PR in next planning run beside deleting it which will not delete SC in SRM.
Kindly guide me any material or Standard SAP document which can help me resolve this issue.
    Regards.
    Sandeep K.

    Hi  Senthil
Please try using net change heuristics which will not delete the existing PR's in the next run and will create PR's only the change in demand.
how we can avoid these delete these Purchase requests? any help is appreciated.
if APO system keep on deletes the existing PR upon your heuristic run , it is a question of performance issue on APO .
i might have  created a follow on document like purchase orders for the last run purchase request. so if PR deleted means all my follow on document will be deleted right. it makes all other system mess.

  • Problem in shopping card filter SRM

    Hi all,
I triying to filter the list of my shopping cards by period. The problem that if I dont choose any period for selecting the shopping card, it's supposed to get ALL exesting shopping card , but I get only shopping card that have been created in 90 days.
HAVE you any idea hoa to customise this query in shoping card powl ?
    Cordialy

    Hi Cordialy,
You mean even though you don't set any criteria in the powl search field "time frame", system still only returns SCs created in the last 90 days?
You may take a look at the document below of how to identify the powl query you use, and check its Query Parameters in transaction powl_query.
    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-51966
For example, to set default query search parameters, please:
1, go to transaction powl_query (you should have edit authorization) and display detail for the query.
2, Click 'Query Parameters' and set values for search criteria, i.e. Status, Timeframe.
3, Then accept and save this changes.
4, In order to make this effective for users, please run report POWL_D01 with the following parameters:
        ======
        APPLID   The corresponding applid
User        Portal user(if you want to set this for all users, then set it as '*')
        Display   Not ticked
        ======
    Hope it helps you.

  • SRM 7 ECS : Contract Item in Invoice witout PO reference

    Hello Gurus,
We are implementing SRM 7 with ECS.
We create Invoice from scratch without PO reference. In "Add item" we have a very much interesting option called "Contract item".
Unfortunately this remains desperately gray at the moment.
We only have Product category local contracts in SRM not distributed in R3.
    1. Does that option work per the standard with ECS?
    2. What would be the required config if yes?
    3. if there is no config do we need to activate a Badi for this?
    Thanks in advance

As kiran said this feature is available from SRM 7 EHP1
    Contract Handling for Invoices
You use this function to create invoices with a direct reference to an SAP ERP contract or SRM central contract. The invoice with the contract reference updates the history of the contract in SAP ERP. A release is then created for the reference central contract in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM).
To use this function, you must activate the business function SRM, Service Procurement Innovations (SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1).
    Prerequisites
You have connected the SAP SRM system to the SAP ERP system.
You have performed the Customizing activity under:  SAP Supplier Relationship Management  SRM Server  Cross-Application Basic Settings  Service Procurement  Activate Service Procurement Innovations .

  • Can you delete PO (Service, Limit or Material) in SRM ECS????

We are currently using SRM 4.0 (ECS) and we appear to have problems when deleting PO's (Service, Limit, Material) with just one line item.  The PO after having the one line item deleted goes into status Error in Process.
    My questions are these:
        1.  How do you delete a PO with one line item whether it's a Service, Limit or Material?
        2.  Can a PO be deleted in SRM if there is just one line item?

You have to delete each line item of the PO in order to delete the PO. Make sure you don't make the QTY and Price fields Zero. You will receive a RZ20 error in process if you are doing this.
Please assign points if this works.

  • Follow on documents for SC in ECS scenario in SRM 5.0

    Hi all,
We are on SRM 5.0,ECS.Is it possible that we can have the PO created,Invoice posted and then GR done in SRM?How is this sequence determined and what are the relevat settings to restrict this...i.e. I would like to have the PO done and then w/o GR,Finanance cannot post the invoice.
Also in terms of accounting, how much control is in SRM?
    Thanks!

    Hi
    Try this
    1. Do not have the GR based Invoice Indicator ticked on in the SRM Purchase Order
    2. Then create an Invoice with reference to the Purchase Order.
This path is generally not recocmmended as you dont want your vendors to get payments unless they deliver goods to you. Try to sort out the issues with Goods recipients.
If its a Non PO stuff, then SAP Provides a non PO Invoice feature in SRM though...
