P.O date prior to GR date
R/All
i want to confighure a check between MKPF_ BUDAT with reference to EKKO_BEDAT
it will check, and does not allow for MIGO if Posting date is greater than MIGO posting Date
plz help
Generally, it would cause trouble I think because vendors not always keep the dates defined in SAP Purchase orders. I mean they can deliver before or after the delivery dates of PO items.
If the vendor delivers the goods before the PO's delivery date maybe it is reasonable to receive them and not wait till the date defined for the PO item comes...
However, if you have several open PO items and you want to avoid posting GR for Po items for which GR is due later, you can use confirmation control - of course this means more efforts in purchaser's daily oprations...
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/26/04146aa63a11d2b484006094b9476a/frameset.htm
Or you can lock the PO item and remove it when the due date comes...
Just my ideas...

Timestamp and dates prior to 1901
Hi,
I'm using Weblogic 7.0, CMP 2.0 and Oracle 8.1.7 as client/server.
There are a table in Oracle in which one of the primary keys is a DATE column.
That column can include dates/hours prior to 1901.
But when I use a CMP with java.sql.Timestamp class for mapping that column, I
come across a problem.
I cannot perform a findByPrimaryKey of records with that data prior to 1901, because
it never finds them.
If they are not prior to 1901, it works perfectly. WHY? What should I do with
dates prior to that date? Any trick?
Thanks in advanceI have something SIMILAR...
in iCal, some birthdays (all entered in address book) show up as all-day events and some show up as 24 hour events (start/end time). I honestly don't know why any would be different. I noticed it was with a couple of old timers (born in 1925 and displayed as a 24 hour event) and changed to 1950 and then they changed to an all day event which is correct. I then changed them back to 1925 and they stayed an all day event. I somehow think this could be related to what you are seeing, but am not sure.

CURRENT YEAR SALES DATE PARAMATER AND PRIOR YEAR SAME DATE RANGE
I am pulling data from a SQL view dbo.view that has current and historical SOP data by line. The date paramater is a date range, uppr date and lower date formulas are in the report. I need to include prior year SOP data for the same prior year date range in the detail. I have tried adding the view in twice with no luck, just duplications. Ultimately I want to supress the detail and only show the totals by customer so it is comparitive. Thanks for your help. Jayne
OK
lets simplify it
get a test data source with some simple dates in it.
get the report logic working.
it looks like you have the right formula ideas but lets go for
@upperthisyear
@upperlastyear
@lowerthisyear
@lowerlastyear
then assuming a date field of {table1.date}
the record selection would be
if (@upperthisyeare > {table1.date} and @lowerthisyear < {table1.date}) or (@upperlastyeare > {table1.date} and @lowerlastyear < {table1.date}) then 1 else 0
I would test this by using it as a formula field with the test data. -
Restrict GR date prior to PO creation date.
Dear experts,
The Present configuration allows GR date prior to PO creation date. The system allows users to post Goods receipt (MIGO), even if the GR date is prior to the PO creation date.
How to restrict this? Is there a standard customization in MM or it requires ABAP programming?
Please suggest me a solution as early as possible.
Thanks in advance.

I lost my Visual Voicemail when upgrading to iphone 5. New phone was set up from itunes backup of iphone4 but my Mac tells me there is an iCloud back up of my phone prior to this date. Will my Vis Voicemail be on this and can I get it on my new phone?
I see. Apple's documentation on what is included in the iCloud backup doesn't explicitly say that it contains voicemails, but that doesn't mean it does not. You would just have to try restoring the backup to find out.
To restore to your iCoud backup you have to start by erasing the phone. Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. Then go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud backup. You will then sign into your iCloud account, accept the terms and conditions, then choose the backup you wish to restore from. To see an older backup, you may need to tap "Show older backups" (see image below). Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this may take some time to finish.
If this does not recover your voicemails, you can check to see if you have an older iTunes backup that may contain them. Available backups are shown in iTunes Preferences>Devices on the Backups list.
If all else fails, you could try contacting your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature and they may have an archive you could access. -

i am giving away a computer, what is the best way to wipe out data prior to depature
Did the Mac come with two grey disks when new? If so, use disk one to erase the drive using Disk Utility and then re-install the OS from the same disk. Once installed, quit and when the new owner boots they can set it up as a new out-of-the-box Mac when they boot it up. The grey disks need to be passed on with the computer.
If you need detailed instructions on how to erase and re-install please post back.
If the Mac came with Lion or Mountain Lion installed the above process can be done using the Recovery HD as since Lion no restore disks are supplied with the Mac.
The terms of the licence state that a Mac should be sold/passed on with the OS installed that was on the machine when new (or words to that effect). -
SAP IHC PAYMENT ORDER - posting date prior to Current posting date
Hello folks,
I have a general question about SAP-IHC module.
While creating a manual internal payment order using IHC1IP transaction code, if I change the "Date Executed" date, the system allows to post the payment order in closed period(posting date prior to the current posting date(for the Bank area in F9B1), i.e. the payment items posted, contained in the IHC payment order, has an old posting date, which is prior to the current posting date of the Bank area - Is this normal?Dear,
Check with settings in OLMR transaction.
Invoice Block - Set Tolerance Limits [Transaction : OMR6]
Here you need to add New entries with - Tolerance Key : LD and company code and set the limits. Please check the documentation which available read as below:
LD: Blanket purchase order time limit exceeded
The system determines the number of days by which the invoice is outside the planned time interval. If the posting date of the invoice is before the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the start of the validity period. If the posting date of the invoice is after the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the end of the validity period. The system compares the number of days with the with the absolute upper limit defined.

How to calculate Prior Year To Date in SSRS
Hi,
I've been developing reports in Crystal for a while. The new ERP software we have just purchased uses SSRS for all of their reports. I just started converting the crystal reports to SSRS. I can't seem to find an easy way to do a calculation for Prior Year
to Date or Prior Year Month to Date in SSRS. Can somebody help me?
Thanks,
CindyYour best bet would be to use a calendar table in the TSQL queries. I wrote an article on them here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/29260.tsql-calendar-functions-and-tables.aspx
Alternatively you can use a formula like:
=DateValue(DATEADD(DateInterval.Day,1-DATEPART(DateInterval.DayOfYear,NOW()),Now()))

Exp. Items prior to Start date
Hi Dina,
I have a project where expense items are booked (travel expenses) prior to start date of the project. As project is starting two days after the consultants are reaching to the site, since consultant are travelling from a different place/location so start date is taken like that.
1. Can we enter the funding for this project ?
2. what is the exception in this case as far as start date is concerned ?
3. Wil it generate the invoice for the period prior to start date?
Please enlighten with your expertise on this.
Thanks.Hello,

Mat doc cancellation date is prior to po date
suppose my po date is 10.04.2007
GR date or Mat doc date is 10.04.2007
But doc cancellation date with ref to purchase date is prior to 10.04.2007 (09.04.2007)
how it can be possible and how can we stop this?
thanksHi
IT0045 config depends on the requirement of the client and mapping of it.
Please go thru the document for reference .. it is very explanatory.

Cannot convert from java.util.Date to java.sql.Date
In the below code am trying to get the current date and 60 days prior date:
Date todayDate;
Date Sixtydaysprior;
String DATE_FORMAT = "MM/dd/yy";
DateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat(DATE_FORMAT);
Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
todayDate = sdf.parse(sdf.format(cal.getTime()));
cal.add(Calendar.DATE, -60);
Sixtydaysprior = sdf.parse(sdf.format(cal.getTime()));I have imported following files:
<%@page
import="java.util.Calendar,
java.text.SimpleDateFormat,
java.text.ParseException,
java.util.*"
%>Shows up following error msg:
Type mismatch: cannot convert from java.util.Date to java.sql.Date
Thanks.
Edited by: MiltonDetroja on May 22, 2009 11:03 AMShows up following error msg:
Type mismatch: cannot convert from java.util.Date to java.sql.Date
I don't think this exception is thrown from the portion of code you have shown. As clearly specified in exception message, you cannot cast an instance of java.util.Date to java.sql.Date. you will need to do something like this
java.util.Date today = new java.util.Date();
long t = today.getTime();
java.sql.Date dt = new java.sql.Date(t); -
