P1106 software on Mac

Hi There,
I am using mac book air with OS X 10.9.5. When I connected my printer to my laptop it did not show me any update. While installing the printer on my mac I got this error message of softare for which I have attached the picture. After installation the printer is not printing any document neither its showing me any error.
Requesting you to please prodive me the link to install the driver so that I can start using my printer.

Hi Wasim,
While the printer is connected and powered on, click the Apple icon and then click on Software Update.
Click the top Store menu and then click on Reload Page.
Allow it a few moments and the HP Printer Driver 3.0 update should be listed.
Install the update, once you are done enter Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign to re-add the printer.

Time Machine is one such program, although it is a recursive backup program which offers limited archive capability, based on the capacity of the backup destination, and it requires you set it up before you start editing your files. Some programs are also Versions aware, which offers a kind of restore capability by file. Again needs to be setup before you start editing.

Handbrake is the way to go.
Quicktime Pro does not have the ability to rip and convert DVDs.

Running Mac OS 8.6 software on Mac OSX

I received an old copy of a game I used to play that runs on both Windows and Macintosh OS 8.6 or higher. There is a note that says, to install this software on Mac OSX, I must double-click the CD Icon and then double-click the AutoPlay Icon. However, when I go to double-click the AutoPlay Icon, it says the Classic environment is no longer supported and there is a "no play" icon through the picture. Is there some way I can still download it?

after a restart it works for a time, but always slow. I went to the Applestore this afternoon and the made a check and said it would be the logicboard and they would have to change it for CHF 600 and it would be ready in 10 - 15 days

Word processing with citations software for Mac?

What is your choice for word processign with citations software for Mac? I am a graduate student. So, being able to enter citations and compile a bibliography/works cited pages is a must.
In the past I have always used MS Word, as I was a WIndows user in the past. Pages doesn't seem to have the same capabilities as Word. I have read a little about using Endnote and Bookends with Pages.
What is your preference, and why?

HT1338 my macbookpro is getting heated and very slow after i updated Software to Mac os x 10.6.8

Recently i updated my macbookpro software to mac os x 10.6.8, after update CPU fan is running non stop even when laptop is idle and laptop is getting more heat thn laptop is too slow,videos are playing very slowly.its very weird.
some one encountered same issue after update???is there a way to revert the software back to previous version??please help

I agree with teh OWC sggestion above, but why must it be USB powered? I find that far more unreliable, and the low power devices slow.
I'd frankly get a good external enclosure and buy a bare drive. But the OWC stuff is quite good - vastly better than some of the majors (WD being aprime example of stuff that's boderline quality and often not compatible)

Using Desktop Software for Mac with an 8703e - Can it be done?

I downloaded the new BB desktop software for Mac but it doesn't seem to work with my 8703e device. And since I had to erase the PocketMac software to install the new BB software, I now have no way to synch my Mac and BB. Can anyone shed any light on this?

You might check out the FileBrowser app on iTunes. I haven't used it, but it sounds like what you're after. When you say you can't use the Sierra iG2 with your iPad, I'm assuming you mean you can't plug it into the iPad. If it's plugged into a laptop and offering a WiFi hotspot, the iPad should be good with that. I use the Apple Camera Connection Kit to carry extra movies on an SD card. It uploads only to the Photos app, so no books, etc.

Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac won't open

I've downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac to begin synching my new Torch but when I try to launch the software, I get the following message.
"The document “BlackBerry Desktop Software.mpkg” could not be opened. TextEdit cannot open files in the “Installer package” format."
Has anyone encountered this and had any luck getting it to open?
Any advice appreciated -- anxious to update my contacts and fully use my new phone!

Have you been able to try using a different USB port or to retry connecting after reinserting the BlackBerry battery? If so, try reinstalling the Desktop Software and retrying the connection.

You need to call 1 800 My APPLE and ask for Snow Leopord disk.
The cost is $29 I believe.
all iOS 6 OS and hardware announced (iphone5, new nanos, etc) require at least 10.7 version of itunes.
iTunes 10.7 requires OS 10.6.8

Destktop software for Mac

Hello,
I recently posted a request for some help with Destop software for Macs in regard to trying to sync iCal with the Blackberry calendar on a Blackberry Torch 9800, and realised only after the post had been moved to another forum by the Moderator that I had posted in the wrong forum ie the Torch forum rather than the Desktop software forum. I apologise.
However, the post has been put into a forum or on a board that appears to be locked so that although the post can be viewed no one can now reply to me. I would therefore be grateful if anyone could advise me where to repost this query, whilst observing the correct protocols, in the hope that someone will be able to help me.
