Curious if anyone could recommend good P2P program for the ntel macbook. I'm using Auquisition right now, and i'm not getting the results i want.
Can you run SoulSeek on an Intel Mac?

Filevault bug with Mac Intel & bootcamp

Hello,
I try to use filevault on my Mac Intel with bootcamp, during the process I get an alert: I don't have enough space to us it, the message said I would require 4064,0 Gb... my hardrive's size is 250 Gb ! (I have the screenshot). So I try the same process on MacBook with the same personal document folder it works. I reinstall my MacBook with a fresh install of MacOS X and then setup bootcamp. afterward I try fileVault and it didn't works...
Does somone know this bug ? is there a fix ?

I have the same problem on a MBP, the same error message, but I do not have bootcamp installed on my mac… so it may not have anything to do with that app you are using.

Can't debug with mac-intel, firefox and FB2

Here is the message I get when trying to debug:
<start>
Failed to connect; session timed out.
Ensure that:
1. You compiled your Flash application with debugging on.
2. You are running the debug version of the Flash Player.
<end>
I assume the flash player 9.0.45 does not have a debug
version for the intel mac. Has anyone got this to work? In the mean
time, I'll go back to using FB2 on windows (in parallels).

Was this ever resolved? Because I am having the same problem.
I can install the flash player debug version but then the flash
player won't work in the browser AT ALL.
When I installed FlexBuilder I was told that I didn't have
sufficient permission to install the debug flash player even though
I am an Admin on this computer. I have read that because I am not
the original root user, that this is the problem, but if I install
using sudo from the command line, the debug will install, but again
no flash player will work in the browser.

Is there a Version of Stuffit that works with Mac-Intel?

The real problem is that I need a Windows Media Player. I downloaded the Media Player, but it only saves as a bin or hex file. This requires Stuffit to open. The latest version of Stuffit, and the one recommended on all the posts does not download, but instead unspools encrypted code in a window.
Anyone have a solution?

I'm pretty certain that I got my version of stuffit, which has worked excellently on my Intel MBP, from that site. I downloaded it around the time when I first got the laptop, so I'm pretty sure that's the site.
If it's not let me know and I can give you links to a different site, or I can just e-mail you the installer file directly.
If it doesn't work for any other reason, or does the encrypted thing that you stated, let me know I'll look into it.

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is especially bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

IPhone no longer can sync with iTunes on Mac Intel Mini

I have an original iPhone (not 3G). It was working fine until today. Today when I booted my mac mini, Software update said that there was an iTunes update. I downloaded and installed version 8.2 of iTunes. When I connected my iPhone to my mac mini (Intel running 10.4.11), which is what I use to sync my iPhone, iTunes didn't see it. It was as if the iPhone wasn't connected to the mac.
I thought maybe it was the cable. So, I switched cables. It still didn't sync (or even see the iPhone).
I have been charging my iPhone using a wall adapter, so I tried both cables with the wall adapter. The iPhone charged just fine using both cables.
I used the cables and tried to sync my iPod Classic (120GB) with iTunes. I can sync my iPod Classic with iTunes just fine with either cable.
I have an 17" Powerbook G4 running 10.5.7 and I thought I'd try to see if it could see the iPhone. The Powerbook is running iTunes 8.1.1, I haven't upgraded it yet. I was able to see the iPhone and I could try to sync, but the iPhone isn't sync'ed with that iTunes library so the sync doesn't do anything, but at least the Powerbook sees the iPhone and connects with it (and iTunes sees the iPhone as well).
I'm upgrading to iTunes 8.2 to see if the Powerbook can still see the iPhone (just seeing if it was the iTunes upgrade that broke the iPhone sync). Well, the upgrade on the powerbook didn't seem to hurt its ability to see the iPhone.
I'm back at square one. My mac Intel mini running 10.4.11 can't see my iPhone and nothing I do seems to help it see the iPhone, but I can sync my ipod classic using the same cable.
I'm now wondering if there is something wrong with the iPhone. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Sometimes a glitch can happen with an itunes upgrade that can cause itunes to no longer recognize your iphone. If you have already tried to restart your computer and tried different usb ports, I would try this:

Your only removing the outer software so it shouldn't affect your itunes libraries or files.

I run an Imac Intel Core 2 duel with Mac OS 10.7.3. I run a software package provided by HMRC and called a Basic PAYE Tools. I am trying to install the latest 2012 update for the new tax year. I have downloaded this with no problems and I click on the icon to open this. I am asked for my computer password which I enter. Then press enter and the update closes down. I have tried this several times and the same thing happens. I have the appropiate Adobe packages for this to work.
Help please as Apple helpdesk and HMRC helpdesk cannot find out why. I have even obtained a CD with the updates from HMRC and the same thing happens.

Will a Saittek Eclipse usb keyboard work with an Intel Mac Mini?

The Saittek Eclipse is my favorite keyboard.
Anybody know if it will work with an Intel Mac Mini.
Box only says Windows, but I'm just wondering if everything except volume controls will work fine? (it is also illuminated, with a light level control, but I'm guessing this shouldn't matter with Windows vs OS X?)

Hello, I’m using Mac Mini 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo with Mac OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. When I try to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 I receive this error message: “Some errors occurred during installation. Adobe Elements 11 can be installed on 64-bit systems only.” Here is the question: is Photoshop Elements 11 compatible with my computer and operating system? I guess my computer runs at 32-bit. Anyone using Antares Auto-Tune 5 with Logic Pro 8 on a Mac Intel?

I just bought the upgrade from Auto-Tune 4 to Auto-Tune 5 since v4 didn't work with the Intel machines, and I'm using a Mac Pro.
After trying to tune one simple part of one song, I'm going nuts. The plug-in is full of bugs, it seems -- mostly in graphical mode. Is anyone else either successfully using this set-up or experiencing major bugs with it?

I'm thinking it's an Intel thing.
When I try to use the various tools in the graphical view, the plug-in will just basically stop responding. I can't close out the plug-in window, and sometimes the "options" window of AT 5 will pop up for no reason and freeze. Its "cancel" and "OK" buttons are non-functioning at that point.
I've hard to force quit Logic a few times now, which pains me to say. Not to mention that it's setting my project back.
Antares doesn't have a forum, and I can't find anything else about this apparent anomaly online anywhere.
Unrelated: I've had problems with Drumagog in LP8 as well. If I try to drag the Drumagog pop-up window around the screen, the only thing that moves is the semi-transparent LP 8 "container". The actual Drumagog window stays put as the LP 8 window that frames the Drumagog window moves about. Very strange.

Imac intel - which wireless option compatible with mac/pc

You might find that MacCam (http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/) can help with a compatible driver for that device - it's by no means sure, but the MacCam project does support a number of Logitech USB webcams.
