P6-2022uk - 32 bit system but no 64 bit drivers are available
Hi,
My mother recently asked me to clean up her computer (it was running a little slow). After running several virus scans, scannow, chkdsk etc, no luck so for time contraint reasons I have reformatted the machine and currently in the process of reinstalling the drivers / software she needs.
The Machine is the P6 2022uk - it has a 32 bit setup but your website does not offer the drivers for this, only the 64 bit version.
IS anyone able to help me track down these driuvers? I'm confused as to why all hardware specs I have read for this product state 64 bit - when PC World sold this machine as a 32 bit?
Any help would be appreciated.

Jonathon, welcome to the forum.
According to the specs the original OS is Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). Here are the specs:

Look at the section titled "Software". This the reason for the 64-bit drivers.

Please let me know what I can do to get my Numbers (iWork 09) working properly again.
Here is what is going on:
Numbers in iWork 09 not working can't access Blank, Checklist and many other files within Numbers. I can open the program but only a few files are available. When I click on the file (which also has no icon just the name of the file) this warning appears:
The document "Blank.nmbtemplate" is invalid. The index.xml file is missing.
I recently had to get a new hard drive installed and had the system upgraded and more memory put in by a Mac certified specialist recommended to me from the Apple store in Northbrook because this was the 3rd time my drive went bad but this time it was to old (I got the IMAC- in 2007) and the Apple store could no longer work on it this time so they recommended a few places that had certified Mac specialists. Since then Numbers is not working right.
I'm sure it's something simple to fix, but I've tried re installing it and that didn't work. Appreciate any help.

AppMareThere is one way its getting fixed. Once I update my Adobe Illustrator CC to Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 it is further allowing me to go into the system folder and allocate the font to the file so that it can replace it. My only concern now is that our MAC partners who will receive these files back from us have Adobe CS6. We will down save it to CS6 but I hope they won't experience any font issues because of us using CC 2014? Any light you can shed on this?

I have a problem with my Time Capsule. The message I get is: Time Machine could not complete the backup. This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 111.27 GB but only 42.1 GB are available. As a result, my backups are no longer running. My umderstanding was that the Time Capsule would automatically delete old backups to make space. Can anyone help me figure out how to get my backups to run again?
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field. You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard." Note the timestamp of the last such message. Clear the text field and scroll back in the log to that time. Select the messages timestamped from then until the end of the backup, or the end of the log if that's not clear. Copy them (command-C) to the Clipboard. Paste (command-V) into a reply to this message.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don't post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Stop Windows Update Service and BIT Service now.
Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and delete all file under this folder.
Start Windows Update and BIT service now.
Then try to download windows update now.
If doesn't work, please reset the windows update componments

I am getting the error ¨This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 1.42 TB but only 998.49 GB are available¨ when I try to do a time machine backup. I have a Retina Macbook Pro and am only using 250 GB on the internal drive. My 1TB external drive that I am trying to use has been complete reformated (case sensitive journaled) and therefore completely empty. Any ideas why time machine is saying my drive has 1.14 TB when its capacity is no where near that?
Well, at this point I might recommend that you reboot your MacBook Pro while simultaneously holding down the Command - R keys and booting into the Lion Recovery Partition. There I would enter the "Disk Uility", highlight your Mac HD in the left hand column to select it and run "Repair Disk", and then run "Repair Permissions" twice. They may resolve the hard drive's confusion in Time Machine.

CS5 Photoshop Crashes in 62 bit mode but not 32 bit
Here is what causes crash: Open image, select tool to select portion of image, click on Adjust Image and select Hue/Saturation. At that point the eyedropper tool appears and all other tools are greyed out. Can't even click on Exit Program. Can select colors within image with eyedropper tool, but NO other functionality. Have to End Task to exit.
Read that some people were having problems with 62 bit version and tried 32 bit CS5 and seems to work fine.
Running Windows7 62 bit. Any ideas?

My guess: The Hue/Sat dialog is offscreen -- probably on a secondary display that you used recently and the OS still thinks is available.
Pressing escape will exit the dialog and get you back to working in Photoshop.
Resetting Photoshop's prefs will make Photoshop forget about the last location of the dialog. But the OS still thinks that a display is there, and you could drag things off onto a display that you can't see. Check the OS display configuration to solve that issue. -
Problems in IE9 32 bit browser but not 64 bit
When I delete a message(s) in Yahoo Mail or when I go to my mortgage website and login, I get a blank page and then nothing happens. I only get this problem in IE9 32 bit and not 64 bit. I reset IE9 Options under the advanced tab, updated Java
and Adobe, but the problem still persists. I also did a viral scan using MSE and MalwareBytes and my computer is clean. Can someone help. Thank youIE9 is fairly old, upgrade you browser.

Satellite L850-17K: Flashcards working but not all FN keys are available
Hi everone,
2 days ago I reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit) on my Satellite L850-17K.
I succeeded in reinstalling all drivers, however I have had some problems with my function keys.
After a long search on the internet I found the flashcards utility, but now I only have like 4 flashcards showing up (brightness, touchpad, mute, wireless) But only the touchpad and mute function are responding. Before reinstalling Windows I also had a function for screen output which is also not shown/responding.
The flashcards I do have also don't look the same as before.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

According notebook specification your Satellite was delivered with WIN7 64BIT Home Premium so I don't understand why you don't use this recovery image that includes all necessary drivers, tools and utilities.
Anyway, if you want to have own OS version all stuff can be downloaded from Toshiba download page http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
What you need to install is Toshiba Value added package and all other Toshiba specific tools and utilities.

I am running OS 10.8.5 and Safari 6.1.4, When I go to sierratradingpost.com, the page appears to load, but the page is blank. When I pass the cursor over the page, it will change to the pointing finger indicating active links. Yet, when I click on the link the new page loads, but is also blank. This only happens on my Mac Air, it does not happen on my iTouch or iPad. I have looked through all my settings when the page is loaded but can find nothing. I have WOT, Ghostery and Ad bloc active. Even when I turn all those off I still have the same problem. Everything was fine yesterday morning, but when I went to the site in the afternoon, the problem arose. Any ideas?
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit. -
Canon 3200F flatbed scanner can't hook to Win 7 64 bit computer because no drivers are avail?
How do I hook the scanner to win7 64bit PC. Gave it to my daughter since I bought a new Canon multifunction. Print head in my canon Pixma went bad and no replacement...had to throw away the printer. Now the scanner can't be used for lack of driver. I see a pattern here Canon.
Any help on this? Of course I had some typos on the original post, and it seems I cannot modify it.

Correct.. TM needs about 20% free space to work.
You need a 2TB disk.
Just get a larger drive.
Or exclude some of the things you don't need to backup. Although of course that is dangerous.
