P7N CPU list up at MSI..good QX9650 info..steppings critical

Like the title says..MSI has finally posted the CPU list for the P7N..not all Yorkfields are supported yet, and the Quads in general are not all compatible as of yet.  Steppings appear to be crucial for official support at this time.

On the page mentioned.  Is that suggesting the Bios version you should use for that processor or is that the minimum.  Cause I could not get a Q6600 to work on my machine but I was using v1.2 bios and on that page you mention it shows v1.0

    Hi Jan,
Generally, we always search the update fixes list in the Microsoft Support site:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/SupportResults.aspx?q=report%20viewer%20Redistributable
Based on my search, I also couldn’t find the KB that describes the details update fixes list about the Reportviewer.msi (version 11.0.3436.0). As per my understanding,
maybe the product team haven’t publish an article about this. I suggest you update to the latest version of this control.

  • Will Tualatin Celeron 1.4GHz CPU be working on MSI-6337?

Will Tualatin Celeron 1.4GHz CPU be working on MSI-6337?
    ========================================
    MSI 815ept chipset mainboard
I am planning to upgarde my CPU from Celeron 850 to Tualatin Celeron 1.4GHz
    But
All I find on MSI web is "N/A" according to the link below:
    http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_cpu_support_detail.php?UID=15
Does it mean 6337 is not able to make it at all, or practically Tualatin Celeron 1.4GHz CPU works fine on 6337?
Do I have to use Tualatin Celeron 1.3GHz CPU instead?
the mainboard bios is already the newest.
Oh, thanks for any tip from you.

Tualatin celeron 1.4G CPU working on MSI 815ept stuff
    So sorry to touble you.
But I have to tell you something all about
Tualatin celeron 1.4G CPU working on MSI 815ept stuff
I bought a celeron 1.4 G cpu yesterday, and put it on my motherboard(815ept),
well, When I finished formating my harddisk and began to install windows xp pro.
    windows Setup program hung.
It stopped when program say "examing hard disk...stuff".
so I replaced my hard drive by a Seagate 7200.7 80G hard disk and the same thing happened. it just hung.....
It's confusing that to setup windows 98 is alright, not a slight error is reported.
and i have to look back into
    http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/m...tail.php?UID=15
    with that bold blue N/A
I think Tualatin 1.3G cpu would work on my motherboard. And tomorrow, i'm gonna change for a 1.3G one.
    =================
    This is my crap:
    Intel Tualatin 1.4GHz CPU
    MSI 815ept motherboard
    Sound Blaster vibra 128
    Seagate U5 40G Hard Disk
    Philips 105G monitor
    G-force2 MX200 display adaptor
    Pioneer 120 DVD-ROM
    MSI 8152 CD-ROM
    Acer 52v keyboard
    D-Link 530tx 10/100 netcard
    ambient chipset modem
    and some other bargains.
Oh, yes, Is that to sayWhat happened on my computer is an typical hardware conflict error?
and have to change my cpu or something else, like motherboard?
anyway I get used to using windows XP.
windows 98, no , the big BLUE SCREEN just makes me sick.

  • I cannot use MSI clock or Info in properties

I cannot use MSI clock nor Info in display properties, nor can the 3d turbo work, it errors, it seems everytime I try to do MSI clock on my GF4 4200 128, it says error occured  while windows was working with conrol pannel file c:winntsystem32desk.cpl
what do I do to fix this? thanks

    Dave,
I since you have a Video Card and you posted in the Anything Under the Sun Motherboard Forum, I moved the thread to Multimedia Forum for you.
    Good Luck,

P.S. Delete the file msicpl.dll and use the latest Detonator 4 Drivers from nVidia and you should be set.

  • P7N vanilla 750i - what are some good OC settings?

Hi - my first post here! I am an overclocking noob, and need a little advice: the board is MSI 750i P7N vanilla edition - not diamond or platinum, just standard. CPU is e6850, ram is 4X1 GB Corsair xms ddr -800. Cooler is Vendetta2, PSU is xFinity 650, and GPU is nvidia 9800GTX+. So I did tweek the FSB to 1393 and that worked, but trying to go higher resulted in no post. I found the same with DOT - setting it to more than "private" resulted in no post. Oh ya - bios is Ami V2.1
So what settings are you guys using?

Thank you FP for the link to Real Temp.
Real Temp, in it's second screen, shows min-max CPU VID which will tell us how high the CPU V's can be raised without causing permanent damage or overly shortening the CPU's life. Any amount of OC'ing has the potential to shorten component life.
You have made the first step, & did it the right way. Raise FSB Clock till it stops post. In your case 1393. Next step is to bump up (with Spread Spectrum disabled), the FSB Clock to 1394 with CPU V. in Cell Menu raised one step above auto, +0.0125 & see if it posts, & proceed from there in small increments until you reach your goal.
Recommend opening a written log book of all current settings in bios before proceeding, as by a fourth restart, the bios more than likely will need to be reset again. (Also record all the 'final' working settings & V's so as to return to them if needed).
Did find data for an XFinity 600, but not a 650. The 600 had two +12V rails, V1 18A & V2 20A, so don't expect the 650 to be less.
CPU-Z, Everest, & Real Temp, & others, are great tools to help with valuable information to OC successfully.
It's very possible, with just raising the CPU V's a small amount, & raising FSB Clock, you will reach 3.2G's fairly easy.
    Target: FSB Clock 1424 (356) X9 Multiplier = 3.204G's.
As a side note, it may also be possible to optimize your mem. modules as well. Are they PC-6400's or PC-8500's?

  • List of Open AP Goods return on a specific Date

My customer needs a list of all open AP goods return, that were still open on a specific date.
They need to do this for month end, the open list, has to match what is in the Trial balance at month end.
I have tried with open item list, but this only shows me as of today.
I have tried with the General ledger by BP, but since the Goods return does not affect the Accounts receivable it is not displayed in this report.
I have also tried creating a report, but there is no information in the ORPD table that allows me to filter properly.
does anyone have any suggestions ?
    Thanks
    Sophie

    Sophie,
One possibility is to use ADOC (history table)
SELECT * FROM ADOC WHERE ObjType = 21
Pick the columns you want to display.

  • Print Packing List from Delivery at Goods Issue

We are facing an issue with our packing list for a division we are going live with in three weeks.  Our current business process for our plants already on SAP is to create the Packing List when the Delivery is created, with timing code "3" in the Packing List output condition, but to not print it until the "Check-in" button is clicked with the Shipment in VT02N based on an activity profile.
However, for the service shipments in this division going live August 1, we do not need to create a Shipment nor generate a Bill of Lading from VT02N.  We will post goods issue from the Delivery itself, and we want the Packing List to print at the time of Post Goods Issue from the Delivery.  We have an access sequence for these service Deliveries with Shipping Point/Distribution Channel/Delivery Type, so only Distribution Channel 02 Deliveries will have Goods Issue from the Delivery, but we are not sure how to get the Packing List to not print until Goods Issue.  Any advice would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jeff Stewart

Go to IMG>Logistics Execution>Shipping> Basic Shipping Functions>Output Determination> Maintain Output Determination for Outbound Deliveries.
Select the Procedure you are using and check the control data to find the Cond. Type you are executing at the moment of the Outbound Delivery.
Check the fifth column and see you have plenty of options, check them out helped by an ABAP team member; if there is nothing already there, just ask him/her to create a new routine with the validation you need and set it there.
This is the same that Joao is suggesting I just went a little bit more in details.
    Good luck Jeff!

  • Need help regarding CPU upgrade of an MSI GE60

Hi! I'm new to the forums and I was wondering if you guys could help me out,
So I'm interested in buying an MSI GE60 0NC-i3185+ 3rd generation Intel® Core i3 - 3110M 2.40 GHZ, here in our country, the Philippines, I was wondering if I can upgrade it's cpu to an i7?
Thank You for your help and sorry for my bad English.

I'm not quite sure why you would want to upgrade it to an i7 after you buy it? Wouldn't it make more sense to get the one that already has it in it? Simply because you'll be getting more of a discount on the CPU since aftermarket prices tend to be rather ridiculous for mobile CPU's.......
    Is it possible? I can't say 100%. If it's using the same socket (37.5mm x 37.5mm (rPGA988B)) then yes, it's most likely upgradeable, but again, I don't have a GE60 so I can't say it will be.

  • How to reduce from 5º to 8ºC CPU Temp on your MSI K7N2 Delta!

I've installed this tweak last week and it is working very stable since then. It decreased my Idle CPU Temp from 42º to 36º and Overload from 54º to 48º:
    Just go: http://forums.pcper.com/showindex.php?t=280137
    AMD ATHLON XP 2600+ 12.5x333mhz 1.65V ~OC 11.5x400mhz 1.55V
    Thermaltake Volcano 9
    MSI K7N2 Delta L
    MSI GF4 4200-8X graphics Card
    160GB Maxtor HDD 7200rpm
    768MB Samsung DDR3200
    LG 48x24x48x/16x CDROM/DVD Reader
Dual Fan 450W Troni Power Suppy

It seems that the link to the tweak is broken, I've found another one:
    http://ftp://ftp.vector.co.jp/pack/win95/hardware/other/wpcre14.exe
This is what the article say:
Just tried it for the first time..It works GREAT
My idle temps are now 26c, down from 34c. That's 8C. I can have Winamp, IE and messenger running and CPU temps don't get by 29c.  Once i fire up, SETI though...I get back my regular Load temps at 39c.
Some of you probably know about it, already....here's for thousand others that don't.
This tweak can drop your idle CPU temps down as much as 8c, maybe more...depending on your system.
First thing you need to do is download WPCRSET & WPCREDIT.
    They're both in this zip.
    - Extract to a directory.
    - Run "INSTDD.EXE". Click Install. When done, you will be prompted for restart. Hit Yes! -
    - Then go back to the folder with extracted files, and open "WPCREDIT.EXE"
    - A ms-dos like window will pop-up. Move the blinking block (with arrow keys or your mouse pointer) until it says Offset 6F at the buttom. Now, click on the two digit number where it says "HEX", and change it to 1F (The Hex for Offset 6F would have previously been 9F, 8F or something else). Hit Set.
Your idle temps should now start falling.
You would have to do this hack/tweak everytime you rebooted your computer if it wasn't for WPCRSET.
    - Go to directory and run "WPCRSET.EXE"
    - Look at the top of the window: Enable select "Start" and make sure Device is on "enable"
    - Then click Add. Enter 6F for the register, and 1F for the data
    - Click Ok and you'll be prompted to restart.
Once, you rebooted, open WCREDIT again and see if the 6F register is still on 1F. If it is, then that's it..You're all done.
Here's a Screenie of how it should be:
This only brings your idle temps down, and not your full load temps
It should work for all nforce2s, and use at your own risk
Check your nf7-s for CPU Disconnect. Most other nforce2 motherboards do not have this feature in the bios...so this tweak might prove useful.
READ THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE TRYING THIS!
If you run a Distributed Computing project...then obviously this would be of no use to you

It activates the C1 (and maybe the C2) function Athlon XP CPU's support. Most mainboard brands have this feature as an option in the bios you can enable and disable. I just found out that EPoX doesn't have that feature. So what you're doing is just using a direct reg tweak to activate it. It's not like you're forcing anything, the Athlon XP chips are made to support this feature so it shouldn't do any damage.
When the CPU is idle the mainboard will send a command to the CPU that will cause a part of the CPU to be deactivated (and therefore not produce any heat). That's why this tweak only works on the idle temp and doesn't change anything on the load temp. Ofcourse as soon as the CPU power is needed the deactivated part will become active again, so it should have any influence on the performance of the CPU.
Strangely, my full load temp has decreased 6º C degrees too.

    Hi all,
The Mainboard can not recognize the Sempron 64bit 2600+(with the latest bios..) !! when boot up the bios show " AMD Unknow Processor" ... after install Windows XP Pro +sp2, the system properties also show " AMD Unknow Processor 1.6Ghz (the speed is correct.) " !! ...
i try the "AMD Sempron™ Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (exe) 1.2.2.2" from amd website, but after reboot, still same problem...
    anyone use the new "Sempron 64bit " cpu?? (Socket 754, E6 )
even AMD CPU info( V 1.1.4.95 July 2005)) also can't show the correct model
and the CPU-Z 1.29 show it is a "AMD Athlon 64" haha
    anyone help??? thanks...
and the CoreCenter Ver 1.7.5.0 also can't work!! everytime start the program, the system will reset immediately !! Why?? Please help!!

I have never liked corecenter. I ran into a really big problem the first time I used it. Ended up taking a modified windows repair to get my computer back. So I don't recommend it.
If you want a program to monitor temps/voltages, get speedfan. If you are wanting it for overclocking, get clockgen.

  • Slow Moving Inventory - List Material where Sales Goods issue is 1 Year

    Hi Gurus,
One of my Clients is looking for a Slow Moving Inventory Report in BW where the Sales (PGI) for the Material did not happen in the last one year.
Could you please help me with the best way to accomplish this requirement?
    Thanks
    Srini

    Hi,
Just try this, if it works( i think it should work) then you wont have to code for virtual KF/chars and this will also boost the performance wrt Virtual KF.....
Get your data for the last year..and Set condition where Sales = 0.
So this should filter data and you would get data where Sales = 0.
Let me know if this is working or not

  • PO Requester and Goods receipent info in R/3

When we create a PO in EBP , we have Goods receipient and requester id and name in EBP, where can we find these in PO in R/3.
I can see the requester user id but still cannot see the goods receipient information on the PO which is useful for us when we do a commitment report to clear the outstanding GRs.
    Many Thanks.
    erpMAN

    Hi,
I understand your point. But SAP designed the application such that the requestors create requisitions only when they are in need of the material. That means the material needs to be delivered to the requstors because only requestors can confirm the receipts (GR) in SRM.
Did you try with purchasing assistant role? User with this role can order shopping cart for other users and you can select the person to whom the goods to be delivered. I do not know if this suits your requirement.
In one of my project we handled this requirement with the help of Ship-to address (Delivery address) details. Requestor would enter C/0 field in the ship to address and this field will be passed to Delivery address in backend PO and would be populated on the PO out put. You can also try this.
