PA30 change use costcenter only for secundary postings inIT0001
We use mini HR in a FI/CO system (no payroll) . We would like use costcenters, witch are only allowed for secundary postings. When we use such costcenters we get an error message:
KI260 Cost center 1000/xyc blocked against direct postings on 01.01.2009.
What can we do ??

Then unblock the cost center using KS02 t.code. Go to KS02, select master data, then select the control TAB,.
Or go to OKEON, here also we can unblcok the cost center.

Lion administrator setting changed to read only for file sharing. Now hung machine
I was trying to network my Mac with a WIndows 7 machine and tried to have my name in the file sharing read write instead of other users such as administrator when I changed the administrator to read only for file sharing rights and could not add my name as a file sharing user with read write permissions Really silly move
I have performed a repair of disk permissions however still hung.
Whats worse is that my time machine for the last three days has been disconnecting when backing up leaving a partially complete backup. Backup failed. I also left a apple support community message a few days ago to solve it.

Timely HELP is needed.This same problem happened to me, all the sudden one day my mac decided to revert to the original standard root username and password which I obviously did not know. In order to change this:
1) Activate single user mode on reboot as by pressing cmd + s as your computer starts up. Make sure you do it right away, and keep the keys pressed down.
2) Where the cursor pops up, type exactly
+/sbin/mount - uw/+
3) When the next cursor pops up type exactly
passwd
4) Then you can type any password you want (now changing the root password to be what you want)
Note you will not be able to see what you type, but the text is being recognized
5)The computer asks for you to retype the password, retype it
6) Type reboot
Once the computer restarts you can navigate to system preferences>accounts> and then unlock the account (lock is located on the bottom left corner) using Username: root and the password you just set. Henceforth, you can appoint your account as the administrator. Hope it works! -
Master Page updated , but changes are visible only for that Page(site) alone ?
I updated v4.master in SharePoint designer to add a bread crum navigation control

Am i going wrong some where (My site collection has about 30-35 sites, and new sites are created every now and then )

rnIf the publishing features are turned on then the master pages for all the sites in the site collection are pulled from the master page gallery of the root site. But if Publishing hasn't been enabled then each site uses the v4.master in its own master
page gallery. It sounds like you haven't enabled the Publishing Infrastructure site collection feature and Publishing Site Feature in the root site of your site collection.

I am in the process of activating the engineering change management for BOM and Routing.
I did the necessary setting to work ECM.
Now my problem is we have different plants and the ECM has to be activated only for 2 plants.
To make change number mandatory in CA01 and CA02 for these 2 plants. i followed the below steps.
IN T CODE OP5A- PP TASK LIST INITIAL SCREEN - CHANGE NUMBER - CHOOSE RADIO BUTTON INPUT - SELECT INFLUENCING -SELECT PLANT -CHANGE NUMBER - ENTER PLANT - CHOOSE RADIO BUTTON REQUIRED
Same like that I did for both plants. Even after this setting it is not allowing without change number.
Can any one help me to solve this issue.?

File Association: "Change All" working only for recommended programs
Hello,
I am having problems with the "Change All" function in the Finder. I only seem to be able to make a change to a program which is already recommended in the drop-down menu. If I use "Other..." and select the program and then select "Change All", it automatically reverts back to the Default setting.
As a concrete example:
I want to open all .tiff files with Acrobat Pro 7.0, the default setting is Preview. If I select Acrobat and click on Change all, I get the standard verification dialogue. However as soon as I confirm, the drop down menu switches back to Preview. Instead, if I select Photoshop (which is already in the drop down menue) I can make the change without problems.
I tried to restart and I even manually edited the "launch services" plist file - changing to Photoshop works after restart, changing to Acrobat is ignored.
File vault is off. Repairing permissions was also without success.
Would anyone have an idea how to fix this?

System: Powerbook G4 Aluminium / OSX 10.4.11Unfortunately, there isn't always a way around this. PDF files are an excellent example. A PDF file created by Adobe has a Creator of CARO and a Type of PDF_. Preview has a different Type and Creator code for PDF files created with it.
So what happens is when you assign (say the Adobe Reader) to Adobe PDF files, it associates them with those based on Adobe's Type and Creator codes. That usually means PDF files created with Preview will still open in Preview.
If you associate Preview PDFs with the Adobe Reader, then the OS breaks the link to the Adobe Type/Creator codes. Now Preview PDF files will open in the Adobe Reader. But since the Adobe created PDFs are no longer linked to the Reader, the OS opens them in the nearest default program, which is Preview.
You end up with an unwanted one-or-the-other problem. -
Transport request for table changes is asked only for first row changed
Hello,
We have created a maintenance dialog connected to a custom table.
In the Table Maintenance Diagog, the <i>Dialog Data Transport Details</i> is set to <i>Standard Recording Routine</i>.
In the "Maintenance Objects" screen, the transport is set to "Automatic transport".
Two questions:
1. Now can I only change the table's entry through SM30? I do not see the "pencil" icon in SM11 or SM16 anymore. Is there a way to change the table's rows in both ways?
2. When I change a row in my table through SM30, the system only asks for the CR number the FIRST time that I savea changed row. When I change other rows and save them, it does not ask for any CR that I want to use for transport. Does it mean that the system automatically knows where to put the transported rows? or that the configuration is wrong and the other changed rows will not be taken into consideration? What if I want to change the CR for only some of the changed rows?

1) We can change/Insert the records from SM30, we can not ahve the pencil icon in SE11 or SM16
2) If you put the table type C, then for every entry it should ask the CR, if not then it is moving to the same request automatically

I have no external devices connected to my Mac mini but still everytime I use it after about half hour to an hour in whatever I'm using wether it's the Internet or iPhoto or iTunes the beach ball appears and I cannot get it to stop I always have to press and hold the power button and force it to switch off I then do a safe reboot and it starts up again fine but same thing again after a certain amount of time it will freeze. I have also had on some occasions a bright white screen with a folder and a flashing question mark appear but it's not because of any external devices as they have all been removed please can someone help me as I have no idea why this keeps happening to my computer and I'm worried that there's something seriously wrong it's only about 6 months old and I have no experience in dealing with computers ??

Use INDEXCOL only for localization (without LOOKUP)
Hi,
I've to setup data localization in OBIEE 11.
The manuals say to use LOOKUP and INDEXCOL.
Anyhow LOOKUP seems not a mandatory step to me.
Lets say I have to translate a dimension PRODUCTS which at first only have 2 columns: CODE and DESCRIPTION.
I could add translated columns directly to the physical table like this:
CODE
DESC_EN
DESC_IT
DESC_ES
1
Bike
Bicicletta
Bicicleta
2
Car
Auto
Coche
3
Airplane
Aereo
Avion
Then in the Business Model layer I could add a logical column "DESCRIPTION" like this:
INDEXCOL (VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.LANGUAGE_INDEX), PRODUCTS.DESC_EN, PRODUCTS.DESC_IT, PRODUCTS.DESC_ES).
To me these seems easier (no need for extra lookup tables) and faster (no extra join to get the translations).
Does anybody tried this before?
Any pitfalls?

I'd like to shed a little light on this for you. Some HP printers are able to scan without ink installed, but most do not. If the cartridge lights on the product are blinking and there is an "E" in the copies window, then the printer is in an error state and will not function until cartridges are installed. If the printer is in an error state, that would describe the message you are getting that "An error occured while communicating with the scanning device", as the printer would not respond when prompted by the software.
