PA30 - Changing personal data of one employee changes data to others also

Hello,
I have a strange problem. When I am changing the personal data of an employee in PA30 this change is affecting several employees also. This means at the moment that I have people that have connected data like the same name and so on...
Could someone give me a hint what I could have done wrong?
I am using SAP_HR Release 600 with Level 28

I am sorry. The problem was the thing between chair and display. I changed the data in PA30 and there was something wrong with it.

Strange Problem in PA30 Basic Personal Data - Bank details

Hi Experts,
We are facing a different strange problem.
When we go to PA30 T-Code & enter Personla No. (eg. 1000001) & fill all details, like
*Actions
Organizational Assignment
Personal Data
Addresses*
After when I come for "Bank Details" & Create, I am getting Default values for this screen fields,
*Bank details type
Payee
Postal Code/City
Bank Country*
I am just keying
*Bank Key
Bank Account*
Now after Saving, & when checked in table PA0009 the EMFTX, BKPLZ, BKORT field (Text, City, Pin), are not getting added(Those fields are blank in Table).
The Same when I add this fields manually all are appearing in table.
(Example. when I go for Bank Details, I am getting Default pin & city maintained in Address field just above, Lets say 500001, HYD. & this is not updated in table when it shown default, But If I clear 500001 & add same(any Value) again back its updating in table. This is happening for Payee, Postal Code/City).
please help me with this strange situation.

I am having the same problem as well.
The EMFTX field is empty in PA0006 after i created a new Bank record in PA30.
I actually tried creating a new Bank record via portal for another employee, EMFTX field is filled with value.
I noticed that from backend, I will not be able to save IT9 if IT6 is not exist.
If I do the same via Portal, IT0009 can be created while IT0006 is not exist.
For your info, i check the module pool MP000900 in table T588M, it has 20 entries with different variable key, the variable key field is one of the colum which I believe the value is used to differentiate the countries. For my case, I can the country that I am testing is not having feature P0009, both the standard screen and alt screen are pointing to 2000.
Please advice.

G580 Recovery Issue - Personal Data

i have bought Lenovo G580 with windows 8 .. it has two partitions C and D ......i have shrink C drive and make 2 other drives...i want to know that if i do System resotre then my personal data in other partetions then C and D will be lost or not?????
i know that all data will lost from C drive after System restore..i just want to know that date from other drive that are shrink from C will be lost or not please help me plzzzzz

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I’m sorry to inform you that after performing shrink in volume and if the “System Restore” is performed the sometime shrink volume will not be recovered and it is recommended to create the Recovery Media before creating partitions and making changes in the HDD. As you have made changes in the partition there are chances of the Data getting erased, I suggest you back up the Data and check the issue.

Personal data change in PORTAL (PA30) - need to send mail notification

Hi,
When there is any change in personal data on PORTAL need to send a mail notification to the respective agents. I was able to design the workflow in such a way that , whenever there is any change in the personal data (Ex. Marital status) it trigger an event and workflow starts, inturn it send mail to external system and sap Userid.
The question is ?
1. If the personal data is changed from the portal , does it trigger the same event in the backend ? does
it start my workflow?

In my opinion same event is triggered. You can check it in transaction SWEL.

Error message when changing personal data

Whenever a user tries to change personal data in ESS, the system returns an error message "Start date should be after 12.01.2012 or later." (or whatever the current day is...)
I can't find a note or whatsoever to solve it. Is this a known error in ESS?

You have implemented the BADI HRXSS_PER_BEGDA which results in this error
ESS scenario's will allow data creation/modification starting
from a Default Start Date. By default this Default Start Date
is set to Today's date. To further explain, when the Default
Start Date is set to Today's date ESS User can create or
change a data record valid starting from Today's date
or future date.
It is possible to customize this behaviour. Business Add-in
HRXSS_PER_BEGDA is available. Parameters like molga, pernr,
infty, subty and begda can be used in different combinations

Changes to the ESS Personal Data iview

Hi There
With regard to the 'Personal Data' iview on ESS.
I have a scenario where fields marked as REQUIRED are DISABLED.
How do i enable them ?
When trying to change the field configuration by previewing the Personal Data iview and then doing 'control + right click' on the relevant disabled field the changes DO NOT take effect.
When changing an enabled field the change take effect.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this ?
Any advice with regard to resolving this issue will be appreciated.

Hi,
The ESS/MSS fields can be enabled/disabled from spro settings at the backend.
Please check with HR consultant to see the status of that field.
The pathmay be:
>Personnel Management > personnel administration > own data > personal data

Personal Data iview can be changed

I have a scenario that i need Personal Data only for display purpose.There should not be Edit button inorder to edit.
Can we make changes to the Personal Data iview

Personal Data uses SAP transaction PZ13 behind it. You could make a Z copy of the SAP Program (function group EHF5) and remove the 'change' button from screen 100. Then create a new iview that references this custom program/transaction.

I tried to do it in Customisation Procedure --> Infotypes, but the option to change Time Constraint is disabled for Infotype 0002.

Hi,
you can change time constraints in general attributes of infotype attributes,this can be done through table maintenace view V_T582A.
But note that we cannot change the time contraints for mandatory infotyepe of personnel in an organization i.e -0000,0001,0002.
ex:- without personal details like names no personnel will exist in an organization.

Personal Data changes were not saved

Hi,
From the Personal Profile, I am able to edit and save data in all the sections but not for the Personal Data. Once after clicking on the Edit button from the Personal Data as shown below:

Personal Data not working for an employee in ESS

Hai All,
I have configured Personal Data in ESS. But, for a particular employee Personal Data is giving the below mentioned error when he edits the data. The error happens when he edits and clicks on Review or when he clicks on the dropdown for Nationality(Only for this field, the error occurs) and selects a value from that dropdown.
As I searched in the forum, I found that we have to search ST22 for that user. In ST22, it is throwing 4 errors:
1. UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION CX_HRPA_INVALID_INFOTYPE_DB. The exception 'CX_HRPA_INVALID_INFOTYPE_DB' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierarchy. Termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_HRPA_TIMECONSTRAINT========CP" - in "COMPUTE_INSERT". The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
2. SYSTEM_CANCELED. The current program "CL_HRPA_TIMECONSTRAINT========CP" has been terminated by another mode.
3. OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL. Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" - in "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP".
The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
4. SYSTEM_CANCELED. The current program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" has been terminated by another mode.
My questions are:
a Why it is not working for a particular employee?
b Why it is working for other employees?
c Did I miss out some configurations?

Thankyou for the reply. But the user has entry in the infotype. Likewise, it is possible to change data from PA30 transaction also. The problem occurs only when I try to change data through ESS.

I am having trouble with my bookmark bar changing order between my devices. I have them organized for convenience, but when I arrange them on one device they change on the others to a different order. how can I fix this?

I have 2 desktops and a laptops connected by Firefox sync which I set up at some time during the beta. I have several folders, dividers, and bookmarks on the toolbar which I try to keep organized based on their use (web design, hardware/tech support sites, personal, etc) but when I arrange them on one computer it screws them up on the others. I would like for it either to keep them in the same order on all machines, or at least have to arrange them on each machine separately without them affecting the other so they stay where I put them. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?

This is what I'd suggest get your machines matched. Sync your machines so all data is on both. Then pick one to get all of your organizing as you want it. (or do this before you even setup sync) Then, when you do your initial sync from that organized machine, select: replace all other devices with this computers data. (you can also do that as Manage Account > reset sync.
After that, changes in order on one machine should be reflected on the other. Remember though Sync '''merges ''' the data from your machines. If you work on two machines side by side and make order changes on both without syncing either, once you do sync, Sync will have to again figure out how to merge the incongruities, which may not be what you expect.. Be careful, if order is important to you.

No, it only mirrors changes to synced data. This includes mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, safari bookmarks, notes, iWork documents and data, and photo stream photos (assuming you choose to sync all this data). Changes to iTunes data such as music, apps, podcasts, etc., are not synced using iCloud. In your example, if you delete an app from one device it will remain on the other until deleted there too.
