PA30 Problem

Dear Friends:
Using T.code PA30, I entered the personnel no and clicked on change. I get the message
No data stored for Travel Privileges in the selected period
     Message no. PG009
Diagnosis
     No records exist in the chosen period.
     The system establishes a time interval for selecting records from the
     entries - or the missing entries - you made in the menu.
     You have perhaps made no entries and the interval established by the
     system is valid from today up until some date in the future. If the
     employee only has records in the past these will not be selected.
     Enter a larger time interval, for example, '* - *' for 01.01.1800 -
     31.12.9999, in the fields designated for this in the menu.
System response
     The establishing of time intervals by means of missing entries can be
     controlled differently in T582'A per infotype.
Procedure
     In table T582A maintain the indicators 'Choose with start', 'Choose
     with end', 'Choose without date' for each infotype.
Please suggest solution.

Dear M.S.Reddy,
First, you have to create IT0017 from PA30. After that you can change the daat in IT0017.
Secondly, if you have any record in any info type (eg.IT0017) created in any Past or future Period, either they are delimited or not, system always shows its resords.
You havnt any record in IT0017, so the system is not showing any resord.

Personnel number searcg help, PA30, problems with STAT2

Hello,
our Human Resources deparment wants, that in search help for personnel number in table with selected employees on tab Last name - First name is added new column STAT2. which will display employment status of employee. We tried to do this in program SAPLWDTM with customizing of selection method ZM_PREMN1 and we get new column STAT2 in table but we didn't get any value in fields. STAT2 is already in join table with values.
In customizing are checkbox fields in columns IMP, EXP and M. For STAT2 we put check in checkbox field EXP and M, which should export value into table into column STAT2 and displayed it. But it's not working that way.
Does anybody know, how to customize this?

Sorry,I´ve not seen your response before.I´ve tried it now but it doesn´t works.I think doing this you only can restrict the number of entries for the payroll area,and I don´t want this,I want to select a payroll area and after that (after press "Start search") I want that appear a list with the employees who belong to this payroll area.
If I press F4 on the personnel number,don´t appear a pop up,and then I can´t restrict the number of entries.

Problem with PA20, PA30, and PA40

Hi!
I cannot use transactions PA20, PA30, or PA40 in our development system. When I try, I crash and get a dump. It fails here:
IF NOT pernr_tab[] IS INITIAL.
SELECT pernr ename AS name begda endda FROM pa0001
    INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE l_pernr_date_tab
      FOR ALL ENTRIES IN pernr_tab
        WHERE pernr = pernr_tab-pernr AND
              sprps EQ space.
This is the error:
Error analysis
    An entry was to be entered into the table
     "\FUNCTION=HR_GET_TEXT_FOR_OBJECTS\DATA=L_PERNR_DATE_TAB" (which should have
    had a unique table key (UNIQUE KEY)).
    However, there already existed a line with an identical key.
    The insert-operation could have ocurred as a result of an INSERT- or
    MOVE command, or in conjunction with a SELECT ... INTO.
    The statement "INSERT INITIAL LINE ..." cannot be used to insert several
     initial lines into a table with a unique key.
Nobody else has this problem. My guess is that I had done a search of EE's at one time, and something or someone in the list is causing the crash.
Is there a way for me to clear something out so that I can run PA20, PA30, or PA40without this list?
Or - If you now of another reason why I may be having this issue and nobody else is, can you suggest a fix?

I was able to find a solution to this problem through OSS note 416695.
There is an SAP program named RH_DELETE_COL_USER_SETTINGS. I ran it, entered my Logon ID, and had it delete "last object selection" and "search variants."
Once I did that, I was able to get into pa20, pa30, and pa40 again. (I.e., my hit list with the "bad employee" was gone.)

Problem with PA30 event LIS1

Hi all,
I have a problem with PA30, I have three kind of subtyes, AS, CO, DI for a Z infotype, but I have a requirement, when I push the mountain(LIS1) list style for all subtypes, don't see the AS type, because the user does`'t need and is confused for him, but he need to see the 'AS' when he puts the subtype in the field of pa30, because he needs to create and delete it in some case, just when he push the LIS1 don't see it,
so the question is, is any way to do this ? I've been seeing by user exit and badis but the P9105 is a structure, so i can't get al the table to delete teh 'AS' or maybe have another name, or some place where it fill the table that display.
Some suggestions??

A problem in hr tcode pa30

I am facing the problem with tcode that is pa30,when the user are entering the data in tcode pa30 screen and saving the data ,it is thrwing the error messsaga
"ENTRY OUTBOUND TABLE NOT FOUND " please give me the solution for this error message
and it is very urgent please give it as early as possible.

Hi Rahul,
Although I have never experienced this sort of an error, a solution always lies in tracing the error message into the ABAP code using a where used. For the error message popping up, ask an ABAPer to read the message ID and number and from SE91 search for the point where the error message is raised. Most messages in HCM module though cannot be traced through where used since they are called dynamically. Hence ask the ABAPer to put a watchpoint on the message ID and/or message number (SY-MSGNO) and then check the table entry which is being validated and subsequently failing. IF this also fails, look up service.sap.com with the message number and ID for help notes.
Also, please check and ensure no IDocs are being triggered in user exit processing from the infotype update(s), the error message seems to be somewhat related to partner profiles not having been maintained for an IDoc processing.

Header Problem in PA30

Dear Gurus
I am facing some problem, which is related to header which comes into PA30 Screen, fieled Name EG, ESG is not shown, Check all settings under Customizing User Interfaces, every thing is perfectly configured and matched to the QAS server.
System also call different screens when go to infotypes.

Problem in PA30 Maintain Text

Hi All,
We have recently encountered a problem with maintaining text via PA30. I have searched for solutions for this and the answer i got is to remove the concern infotype from the grouping table V_T582G. This eventually worked. Problem solved, we can now maintain text for concern infortypes.
However, when maintaining infotypes via ESS, there seems to be a problem. Pointing that the infotype is not maintained in V_T582G.
Can anyone please advice us on how to go about this problem? Any suggestion would be greatly appreaciated.

Hi Ranilo,
If you maintain ths infotype via ESS then you will need an entry in T582G as ESS use the new infotype framework.
In the past there was a technical restriction which prevents to maintaint text for shared infotypes (ITs with an entry in T582G).
This restrictions has been removed recently via note 1468564 T582A: Cannot activate text maintenance for infotype.
Implement this note, it will allow you to have the text maintenance allowed on shared infotypes.

Strange Problem in PA30 Basic Personal Data - Bank details

Hi Experts,
We are facing a different strange problem.
When we go to PA30 T-Code & enter Personla No. (eg. 1000001) & fill all details, like
*Actions
Organizational Assignment
Personal Data
Addresses*
After when I come for "Bank Details" & Create, I am getting Default values for this screen fields,
*Bank details type
Payee
Postal Code/City
Bank Country*
I am just keying
*Bank Key
Bank Account*
Now after Saving, & when checked in table PA0009 the EMFTX, BKPLZ, BKORT field (Text, City, Pin), are not getting added(Those fields are blank in Table).
The Same when I add this fields manually all are appearing in table.
(Example. when I go for Bank Details, I am getting Default pin & city maintained in Address field just above, Lets say 500001, HYD. & this is not updated in table when it shown default, But If I clear 500001 & add same(any Value) again back its updating in table. This is happening for Payee, Postal Code/City).
please help me with this strange situation.

I am having the same problem as well.
The EMFTX field is empty in PA0006 after i created a new Bank record in PA30.
I actually tried creating a new Bank record via portal for another employee, EMFTX field is filled with value.
I noticed that from backend, I will not be able to save IT9 if IT6 is not exist.
If I do the same via Portal, IT0009 can be created while IT0006 is not exist.
For your info, i check the module pool MP000900 in table T588M, it has 20 entries with different variable key, the variable key field is one of the colum which I believe the value is used to differentiate the countries. For my case, I can the country that I am testing is not having feature P0009, both the standard screen and alt screen are pointing to 2000.
Please advice.

Problem in PA30 with custom infotype

Hi,
I created a custom infotype 9001 and i want to check the correctness of the infotype in PA30 but when enter the personnel no and infotype as 9001 and click on create it goes to short dump and an error arises "Dialog module "RP_9001 " not found".

Problem During maintaining Infotype 8 in tcode PA30

hi all,
i have different PS group for employees like OFFICER and EXECUTIVE and when i m creating the IT 8 then i select group as OFFICER and then it pics the wage type '1001', '1004', '1013' and '1016' automaticaly but problem is that when i select group as EXECUTIVE then it pics nothing automatically.
can anyone please tell me what is the prob and how can i remove it?

T-code PA30(SAP HR) search help exit problem.

Hi Experts ,
I have a requirement to restrict/show particluar Wage Types in PA30 t-code on basis a company code of a given the employee (PERNR).
The field PERNR/Company code are not there in the parameters or selection method of the elementary search help H_T5W3A(PA0151-LGART field) .
I have managed to add the field pernr to the parameters of this elementary serach help H_T5W3A and also given it as a importing parameter in the custom search help exit FM.
When i debug the PERNR/Company code don't get populated in the FM parameters.
I need this PERNR/Comp code to be poulated in order for the search help entries to be restricted as this is the requirement.
Please tell me what step i am missing here.
Any other workarounds for this requirement.

Hi,
Adding an importing parameter just provides the user to restrict the search by entering the field value. For this you need not write a search help exit. You only need to join the tables with the fields properly in the search help. However if the Wage types need to be populated as per the company code and if you have included the company code as an importing parametr, then everytime the user clicks on the F4 help for Wage type, he "has" to enter the company code in the pop up that appears for selection criteria, otherwise how would the search help know the value that you have entered for company code.
Without entering the company code in the pop up that would appear to restrict the search, the search help won't work as there won't be any other way to make it aware of the value entered.

Problem in PA30 Infotype 34 Corporate Function

Hi,
While creating the corporate function IT0034 in transaction PA30, in which table the Long text will be saved. How to retrieve it.

READ_TEXT can be used not only for PO but for other long text also.
To know the long text OBJID, OBJNAME.
In Transaction PA30, open the long text screen...and in one of the menu item you can find the 'Header' item. click on this . here you may get the required details

PA30-Education problem-HR Module

Hi,
in pa30 goto education details
for selected perners some of the education fields are invisible on the screen
like education/Training, E&T Categories
How do i change configuration and get those fields back on the screen

Check the entries in V_T588M for MP002200 screen 2000.. if radiobutton hide is checked for these fields .. click on 'Std' and you should see them now..

Problem in report of cats_da data is not coming for one absence type.

Dear experts,
For one absence type the data is not coming in the report cats_da. When I check the other absence type the report is showing the data. I dont know where is the problem. Customer is entering data throught PA30 transaction. Kindly help me where is the problem in customization.
