Package com.ms.* + documentation

Did somebody knows how to use package com.ms.* and where can i have the package documentation ?

The easiest way would probably be to download the Microsoft SDK for Java, which is available at their web site. It contains documentation on the "com.ms.*" packages, as well as tools for signing applets and other things. If you have to work with applets and IE, it is handy to have.

  • URGENT!!!! help me!Where I can get package com.sun.awt.svg.*

    Hello,everybody!
I want to know Where I can get package com.sun.awt.svg.* ??

    Requirements
    JDK 1.3 Software -
To use the Graphics2D SVG Generator, you need to have installed the Java 2 Software Developer's Kit (SDK). You can obtain the Java 2 SDK from the Sun Java 2 web site (http://java.sun.com/j2se/).
The Graphics2D SVG Generator software was tested with version 1.3, so you should use the same version or a newer one.
    DOM Implementation -
A DOM level 1 implementation is needed to use the Graphics2D SVG Generator. You can obtain a Java language DOM implementation from the following:
    Apache Xerces (http://xml.apache.org/xerces-j/index.html)
    Sun Microsystem's Project X
    (http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/products/xml)
You also need to put the corresponding jar files in the classpath. The following table shows commands for doing this.
    Operating System DOM Implementation Command
    Windows 98 Xerces set classpath=%classpath%;
    xercesinstalldir\xerces.jar
    Windows 98 Project X set classpath=%classpath%;
    projectxinstalldir\xml.jar
    UNIX Xerces setenv CLASSPATH ${CLASSPATH}:
    xercesInstallDir/xerces.jar
UNIX Project X setenv CLASSPATH ${CLASSPATH}:
    projectxinstalldir/xml.jar
    SVG Viewer
To view the generated SVG files, you need to have an SVG viewer. You can find a list of available SVG viewers at the W3C SVG web site (http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/SVG-Implementations).

Installing the Graphics2D SVG Generator Software
    IMPORTANT:
Before installing the software, make sure you agree to the license terms.
To install the software, perform the following steps:
Step 1: Uncompress the distribution file in the desired installation directory. Use these commands (from the command line):
    > cd installDir
    > jar xf j2d2svg.zip
The j2d2svg.jar file expands into a directory (j2d2svg) that contains the following:
README.html (this file) -- Provides important information about installing and using the Graphics2D SVG Generator.
    svggraphic_license.html -- License agreement.
svggen.jar -- A jar (java archive) file that contains the SVGGraphics2D classes.
glf.jar -- A jar file that contains the Graphic Layers Framework classes.
svggenDoc.jar -- A jar file that contains the software's API documentation in HTML.
    HelloSVG.java -- Example file.
    HelloManipulatedSVG.java -- Example file.
Step 2: Add svggen.jar to the classpath.
    On Windows, use this command:
    - set classpath=%classpath%;<j2d2svginstalldir>\svggen.jar
    On UNIX, use this command:
    - setenv CLASSPATH=${CLASSPATH}:j2d2svginstalldir/svggen.jar
To use the Graphic Layer Framework conversion utility (i.e., to use the com.sun.awt.svg.util.GlfSVGPrettyPrint), you will also need to add the glf.jar file to your classpath. However, this is not required to run the examples.

  • Package com.sun.media

Where do i find the API documentation of the package com.sun.media.

    hi,
it is likely you won't find any api-documentation for this package since sun
usually discourages the use of some packages (compare sun.*)
and does not provide any documentation for that cause.
at least this is what i suspect; why do you want to use the anyway?
p.s. you can always have a look at the source code itself since it is open.
    cheers

  • Does easyIO.* package come with j2sdk1.4.2_04, Win32?

    ...My first post.
    -Hello everyone.
I have installed and compiled and executed some small *.java files with great success. I'd be very happy if someone knew how to install this package, or got some clues where to look. Thanks in advance and thanks alot.

No, easyIO is not a part of the standard J2SDK. Where did you get it from? Software development libraries usually come with documentation that explains how to install and use them (e.g. a text file called "README" or "INSTALL")
If you happen to speak Norwegian you can find some instructions here:

  • Package com.bruceeckel.simpletest does not exist.import com.bruceeckel.simp

Sorry that I write again about this problem, but I can't manage with it.
When I'm trying to compile the program (Assigment.java) from book code appears an error:
D:\Java\Code\c03\Assignment.java:5: package com.bruceeckel.simpletest does not exist
    import com.bruceeckel.simpletest.*;
    It's not easy!! :(
    I have SDk in c:\j2sdk1.4.2_05\
    my projects are in d:\java
and the source code from the book: d:\java\code\
i copied the whole catalog com\bruceeckel\ into c:\j2sdk1.4.2_05\
    I JCreator in options->JDK Profiles->j2sdk1.4.2_05(edit)->sources I added path c:\j2sdk1.4.2_05
And I don't know what else??
    Please Help Me!!

Edna's #1 rule for Java Newbies... Never
    ever use an IDE
Now you have introduced a new variable to the problem.
Assuming com.bruceeckel is in some jar file called
bruce.jar (I like that), just add the the following
    to you class path
<path to bruce.jar>/bruce.jarI take it that you are working through Bruce Eckel's Thinking in Java book ( or online )... I checked it out myself not to long ago, and following the instructions, found that I had to do somethings prior to using his code samples and exercises...
One is to download his source code at http://mindview.net/Books/TIJ/#SourceCode
Two, when you read the page, it tell you that you need to compile the downloaded source code to run the examples in the book... follow the directions given in the above link...
Once its all compiled, then it will be ready for use, well after you set the classpath as per instructions...
and leave the IDE alone for now, once you get a better understanding of Java, then you can take the time to learn how to use the IDE, but for now, it will probable just confuse you more... But that only my opinion...
Any way, download, compile, set the classpath and your on your way...

    Hi All,
I am using BO XI R2 version.
I am facing issues with BOE Java SDK web application.
In this application, I have just by-passed login page(jsp page) and logout from BO. But, it is throwing errors as mentioned below:
    Generated servlet error:
E:\BusinessObjects\Tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\_\org\apache\jsp\BO_005fHello_005fWorld\login_jsp.java:6: package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework does not exist
    import com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework.CrystalEnterprise;
Application gives errors for these two packages:

Can anyone please tell me the solution?
From where I can get the jar files to resolves these problems?
I tried to search these jar files in BO installation folder but was not able to get.
Can anyone tell the exact folder path for these jar files, if it is there.
Or any link to download jar files.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello ,
-In order to run your application, please copy the Business Objects JAR files from the installed location.
-For example : If you have installed Business Objects on C:
then , go to the path :
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\Java\Lib and copy all the Jar files from that location including JAR files that are present in the external folder.
-Paste these JAR files inside lib folder of your application.
-The class com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework comes under cesession.jar

  • Build error :package com.sun.javadoc does not exist

Question from a Turing machine expert who is new to Java.
Trying to run a sample program from Richardson's book "Java JDK 5 Edition" Chapter 1.
In Netbeans 5.5 receive build error :package com.sun.javadoc does not exist
    for "import com.sun.javadoc.*;"
Believe missing classes are in tools.jar in C:\Sun\SDKee5SDK\jdk\lib
How do I define this to Netbeans and/or JDK?
    Using java_ee_sdk-5_01
    and netbeans-5_5-windows downloads.
    Platform is XP.
Netbeans has been updated to date.
    Appreciate.

  • Package com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.policy does not exist

    [ Problem ]
We are trying to create policy. We have set the class path and referring adobe-flashaccess-sdk.jar, adobe-flashaccess-certs.jar and also we have copied jsafe.jar into class path directory.
I am getting error. package com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.policy does not exist error.
Is any other .jar file needs to be included.
    [ Solution ]
Page 11 of the Protecting Content document lists all of the .jar files required to use the Flash Access SDK:
    adobe-flashaccess-certs.jar
    adobe-flashaccess-sdk.jar
    bcmail-jdk15-141.jar
    bcprov-jdk15-141.jar
    commons-discovery-0.4.jar
    commons-logging-1.1.1.jar
    jaxb-api.jar
    jaxb-impl.jar
    jaxb-libs.jar
    relaxngDatatype.jar
    rm-pdrl.jar
    xsdlib.jar
    jsafe.jar or jsafeWithNative.jar
Please check to make sure you have all the above .jar files on your classpath.  You also may want to check out the sample code and Ant built script located in the samples directory of the Reference Implementation Command Line Tools.  The Ant script contains targets for both compiling and running the samples, including creating a policy.

No, I don't think you want to just copy the 4 jar files to your /lib/ext Java SDK directory. What you want to do is to run the Java3D install program to install Java 3D to the Java SDK or JRE you specify. The install will also copy some .DLL files since part of Java3D is implemented using native methods. Without the DLLs, I would guess that you can compile programs okay but will run into errors trying to run them. No clue why the install wouldn't work on XP, but maybe the install needs a JRE to run and you need to install Sun's JRE or SDK using their install program - Microsoft used to include their own Java SDK implementation in Windows, but then took it out for Windows XP to try and deprecate Java. The install EXE might be expecting a Windows registry setting that points to a JRE or SDK for it to use.

    Hi Armin,
Sorry that I still got problem on importing and make use of the class for knowledgemanagement. I can found the cooresponding .jar file in folder "jakarta-tomcat-3.3.2\webapps\irj\WEB-INF\plugins\portal\services\knowledgemanagement\lib". And added the services reference as "ServicesReference=htmlb, knowledgemanagement". However, I still can't use the class for KM.
I have read those code sample from KM in SDN, but they are mentioning the programming part and not the setting. Can you suggest the detail steps and code on adding the KM class into my customize class?
I am using Eclipse as my development tools.

  • Package com.bea.xml does not exist

    Hello all,
I would like to try the nice features of XMLBeans, but I am not able to import
the package com.bea.xml in my first Java XMLBeans demo program, which I tried
    to create.
The error message is "package com.bea.xml does not exist", even when the path
"C:\LocalProgFiles\Bea\xkit" (where the file xbean.jar is located) is included
in the CLASSPATH. Also the environemt variable XMLBEANDIR is set correctly to
    "C:\LocalProgFiles\Bea\xkit".
Has anyone an idea, what is wrong?
    Thanx in advance
    Stefan

    Hey, Stefan:
I am having the same problem as you were but I'm using Eclipse and I think I've set up the environment properly. Except I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where the Package, "com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory", either resides on my computer or is located for download or is included in some other utility.
We found an example that used the following code:
    System.setProperty("javax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory","com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory");
So, I included that line just before I create a new instance of the XMLInputFactory, which I have included here:
    XMLInputFactory factory = XMLInputFactory.newInstance();
When my application tries to execute this statement I get the error below. Am I supposed to have this package on my computer? I don't even have a bea directory. What am I doing wrong?
    Thank you,
    Patricia
