Package DBDOM error ...

Question

I am trying to run one of the sample programs. I am getting this error:

ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded
ORA-04063: package body "SHRIKANT.DBDOM" has errors
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

ORA-06512: at line 1
What could be wrong?

Your DBDOM package did not compile correctly, and this demo procedure depends on the DBDOM package.
Suggest you try re-running the:
-> dbdom_schema.sql
-> dbdom.sql
from SQL*Plus then do a:
SQL> show errors
to see what compile errors occurred.
Could be that you're missing some
of the packages that DBDOM depends on.
You can run the ./install/checkdeps.sql
to test whether you are missing any
dependencies.
