Package not found, package in repo, repo is enabled?

This personally happens to me all the time, and not just for this package. Is the website not updated with there repo servers?

Much appreciated.

When was the last time you updated your package dbs: 'sudo pacman -Sy'?

No, that was my fault. I updated my release scripts yesterday and the new ones did not create the database signature symlink. I just fixed it about 10 minutes ago.
Change the SigLevel back to Required, otherwise Pacman will not verify the databases. Everything should be working again.
Cheers, upgrading is back to normal (good work on the repo btw)

• HP Pavilion dv6-3043ee Realtek Network Adapter not found in Device Manager

Hi I own an HP Pavilion dv6-3043ee, 64bit and running Windows 7. And somehow the network adapter for the LAN got uninstalled for some reason. Now after posting something on the site I finally downloaded the driver for my laptop.
Now another problem, after or at the end of the installation process a pop up message was shown:
"The Realtek Network Controller was not found,
If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."
Now I checked Device Manager to see if the Realtek Network Adapter was there but it wasn't. All I can see are:
-Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter
-Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
-Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocl TDI)
-TAP-Windows Adapter V9
Someone please help. Thank you.

If device is identified but there is no driver for it, it will be appeared as unknown device in Device Manager with question mark icon (?), are you seeing such thing in device manager?
If not, you should refer to your PC manufacturer's website and download.
Make sure report this issue using Feedback App.

• [SOLVED] node package manager: command not found

I installed nodejs, and it was working fine. I updated a couple of days ago, and now npm install and npm lead to
zsh: command not found
Node has some naming conflicts, from what I have read. I am confused as to how the namespace for packages works, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with this because, while confusing, I don't think it is causing the problem. I usually execute the application as node, but it is in the repositories as nodejs. I found node in /usr/bin. I can execute npm there, but it advises that npm should be run in a normal shell with a different directory, not in /usr/bin. There was no nodejs or npm.
I removed nodejs using
pacman -Rdd nodejs
since adom has dependencies, but when I tried to reinstall using
pacman -S nodejs
, it said it was up to date and reinstalled. I updated my system and rebooted. I still can execute node but not the npm-it still returns
zsh: command not found: npm
I have no idea why the node package manager disappearred. I also have no idea why it would not have reinstalled with nodejs from the repo.

• Jar not running is sarge and apache-ant shows error of package not found

Hello,
First of all I am not a java programmer. I work in C/C++/C#.
Currently I am dealing a game written in java (1.5) using netbeans 5.5.0 under windows xp. My target is to compile in my development machine and run in the clients machine. everything works fine in windows xp. I open the netbeans ide, load the necessary class libraries, build the project and run it. it runs without any problem.
The problem begins when I run the same project from linux (fedora). it doest not run. It shows some error.
<error platform="fedora 7">
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.awt.HeadlessException:

Some of these error were resolved when I set the DISPLAY variable (export DISPLAY="127.0.0.1:0") but the other errors were still there.
But when I open this same project in netbeans and resolve the dependencies with class libraries it works ok after compiling.
I can run it from console (java -jar ...)
And again the same source tree shows the following error when I am in windows !!! (by java -jar ... command)

I see that netbeans uses ant to compile project in the background.
then I tried using ant to compile.
doing only `#ant compile` where build.xml resides does the compilation.
after that I try to run it (by java -jar ...). again the above error shows up.
What would I do?
If I compile it with netbeans in machine A then it runs well in A but not in machine B.
If I compile it with ANT in machine A then it doesn't run in A, no chance for machine B.
the contents of my build xml is here

<project name="NetBeansApplication" default="default" basedir=".">

Builds, tests, and runs the project NetBeansApplication.

<import file="nbproject/build-impl.xml"/>

<target name="-post-jar">
<jar update="true" destfile="${dist.jar}">
<zipfileset src="${libs.swing-layout.classpath}"/>
<zipfileset src="${libs.addMoney.classpath}"/>
<zipfileset src="${libs.NormalWindow.classpath}"/>
</jar>

Hello,
I am trying to run my annotation processor using ant.
I already built the processor, the javax.annotation.processor.Processor file is in the correct place with the correct content.
The jar with the processor is in the classpath (i can see it in ant -v), but it does not process my classes. in fact, i get the warning:
warning: Annotation processing without compilation requested but no processors were found.Do i have to specify -processor or -processorpath or can i just leave it to the default classpath scanning?When -processor is not given, a service loader is used to find the annotation processors (if any). In addition to the class files of the process, to allow your processor to be found as a service, make sure you've also provided the needed META-INF data in the jar file. The general service file format is described in
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/ServiceLoader.html
That said, I'd recommend setting an explicit processor path separate from your general classpath.

if some body know this problem, please help me to resolve my problem :(

It is due to a connection manager being deleted.
Oftentimes fixable by introducing it back. Sometimes the package even runs successfully even w/o it.
But if you can create a new package anew.

• Error in clipboard: ORDWEBUTL package not found

Hi,
I installed WebAgent 8.1.5.4 and Clipboard 8.1.5.3 (from one installation kit). WebAgent works fine. Something wrong with the Clipboard. I managed getting into Clipboard and even able to view tables of a schema. When I double click on any table name, a message prompt out saying
"The ORDWEBUTL package was not found in the requested database."
Anybody can give me a hint what is the installation package that can lead to this ORDWEBUTL package installed into 8i? And how to install it?
My environment:
Windows NT 4
Oracle 8.1.5
Apache web server 1.3.12
WebAgent 8.1.5.4
Clipboard 8.1.5.3
Dawson

There is a SQL script in
(ORAWEB_HOME)\ord\web\admin (in my setup it is D:\oracle\oraas\ord\web\admin) called ordwebutl.sql.
This needs to be run before doing anything within the clipboard. The usage for running this is within the header of the script itself.

• Package not found when nested

When I tried to make packages in this way:

TalepDurum(package)

ApplicationProgram, then it gives an error
saying that no such a package or classpath not found.
Anyone who understand the problem? Thanks for help...

This might help.

• Package not found when importing in JSP

I'm now using Weblogic 6.0 SP 2 for development. I did a test application, containing
EJBs, and a JSP. Package the applications to an EAR file. Then I deploy the test
application using hot-deploy - just drop the EAR into the domain\application folder.
When I call the JSP page, I get an error saying that the package I'm importing
is not found. What is wrong?? The test application works on Weblogic 5.1
My WAR file contains only the JSP and XML descriptor. Do I need to include classes
inside??? Don't think that is correct.
Please advise.

It was a bad mistake. Made an error in the application.xml, which refer to an invalid
JAR file. Made the correction and it works like magic.
Thanks :)

• Package javax.mail not found in import.

hi,
i am trying to develop a mail application using jsp, i have jaf1.0.1 and javamail API and the application was working fine on weblogic but when i tried to do the same thing on Apache server the Package javax.mail not found in import. is occuring,
What could be the problem can any one explain...
Thanks

I think you have not placed mail.jar and activation.jar files in the /jre/lib/ext directory. Just place the mail.jar and activation.jar files in the jdk's /jre/lib/ext directory and check out. This will work for you.

• Error target not found base-level failed to install the packages

Im trying to install arch on my Virtualbox VM and its just returning:
error target not found base-level failed to install the packages to new root
What do I do? I have selected the right mirrors, pinging google, my own VPS's and a few other servers and they all pinged fine. Any ideas on whats up? Think my VPN's IP has been blocked and thats why I cant download anything? I have tried pacman -Ssy and it worked fine but still no.

Please read the following and follow the advice included:

With that, be sure to clarify whether the typo was just here on the forum, or whether it was also in your original command. If it was in your original command, that would explain your results.

thank's .

treat .properties files just like a class file :)
if /classes/ is in your classpath and in that directory you have an x.properties file then:
ResouceBundle.getBundle("x");
will return it...
if the x.properties file is in the /classes/com/company/props/ directory then this will act like a package name and
ResouceBundle.getBundle("com.company.props.x");
will return it ;)
