Package sticks at 10%

We have built a Thinapp Factory environment and successfully deployed a VM from iso through the workpools.
The workpool is showing green with no errors and no obvious issues in the logs.
We have aded the ninite installer
Yet when we start a task it tops out at 10% Provisioning
Nothing happens on the Vcenter side to power on the Workpool VM
the TAF and Vcenter are on the same Vlan and the Win7 workpool VM deployed are on the desktop Vlan (dhcp is enabled on desktop vlan only)   nothing should be blocked between the Vlans.

  • FX5900 core/mem frequency???

    Totally confused!
    I received card that on the package box is FX-5900SP
    On the side of the box package, sticker shows FX-5900-VTD128 (602-8929-060), 128MB ddr (2.8ns)
    On graphic board is this: MSI model 8929 ver:1 00
    Cooler is only on front side.
    Default frequencies are:
    Core: 300MHz
    Memory: 700MHz
    Should it be 400/800 by default???
    Can anyone, please, tell me what's the point.

  • KN8 SLI version -F and -FI. Any differences?

    Hello!
    My first post here so excuse my ignorance, pls.
    I’ve just got my new and shiny NF4 motherboard. Due to package sticker it is K8N SLI-FI 601-7185-010 (pcb version “1” painted on the board).
    The problem is that I can not find this motherboard on MSI www. There are K8N Neo4-F, K8N Neo4-FI and only one K8N SLI. Searching on the i-net I found that there are at least two K8N-SLI versions, version -F and version -FI (like mine).
    Do You know abut any differences between them? From “features” point of view they seem exactly the same but… Why different names?

    Quote from: Stick on 26-November-05, 19:35:07
    the problem with soft OC is that it keeps the memory timings from when the PC boots up. so if the memory is on auto, at 166 MHz (the value at boot) you can have 2-2-2-5 timings. whenever you raise the FSB by using software, these timings will remain the same, unless you manually override them. this way you end up at 200MHz memspeed after soft OC with 2-2-2-5 timings. if your memory doesn't support these timings, you get BSOD or lock-ups.
    Hmmm... Something is wrong with my English IMHO. You did not understand me right   First off nearly all memory timings in my bios are all set manually according to values achieved in 200MHz auto. Booted all auto (200MHz), checked memory timings in SysTool, printed them on paper and then all that went manual to bios settings.
    I must admit that I did change some paremeters to tighten timings for ex. CAS latency from 2,5 to 2 and CR from 2 to 1. Strange is that on "Auto" K8N bios reads SPD CAS value as 2,5. It is definitely at 2 in my RAM modules SPD.
    Then boot again (still not changed FSB 200MHz) and checked that it is stabile in Windows. Then back to bios and changed only RAM speed to 166. Boot again and then in SysTool rise FSB to 255,81MHz (mem automatically went to 209 but not changing timings of course). After some testing it is rock stabile and works fine with my VGA. Everything is OK.
    And now logically way is to go to bios and simply rise "FSB" to 255. And here is a problem... No boot and it is necessary to clear CMOS and start again from scratch. After many attempts I decided to stay with "Windows overclock method" by using Clockgen in ghost mode. For me it is fine but still wondering why I can not boot with rather "safe" 255 MHz on bus.
    Well… After some investigations I found that it is a common problem with MSI NF4 boards. It looks like some design errors or what(?).
    BTW1 Attempting to find max FSB and CPU clock I’ve started with 3xHTT but of course now I can use x4 in bios gaining small HTT overclock in Windows by 255,81x4. Still stabile and with RAM at 209 (it is tested stabile up to 213 with tight timings) I have nice 5940/2400/44 Everest memory marks. Clockgen is a nice tool but missing one feature. Changin on the fly mem divieders. With that I could forget non booting MSI with higher FSB
    BTW2 I did some tests to oc my CPU “other way” by lowering multi and setting “FSB” much higher. Well… I found that it is no problem to run for ex. 289MHz FSB. Again it is strange that it is impossible to boot with FSB higher then ~220MHz. Any hope for new bios that could cure that?
    BTW3 Once again. Pls, do You know where I can find bios version 1.1 for my K8N SLI-FI? I want to have it on floppy in case problems with newest bios ver. 1.2!
    BTW3 Sorry… My English is not so good :/ and thanks for feedback.

  • Is there a way to create a local package repository

    Is there a way to create a local package repository without technically being a mirror.  For example, setting up multiple AL box's on my network and having them grab all the latest packages from one AL box?
    Thanks,
    Craig

    What you most likely want is an ABS tree of your own, containing only the PKGBUILDs of those packages which you want to be included in your repository.
    You should already have heard of the gensync program. In short, the parameters are the root of PKGBUILDs, sorted in subdirectories (ie. like the ABS tree), the intented name and location of the repository database file, and the directory containing the binary packages.
    Let's assume you downloaded the current ABS tree to your hard drive, as well as all matching (same version as in the PKGBUILDs!) packages from a mirror, but you don't want the reiserfsprogs package in your repository. To achieve that, you must remove the /var/abs/base/reiserfsprogs directory, and may optionally remove the binary package, too. Since gensync analyzes the ABS tree you supplied as a parameter, removing the subdirectory of a specific package will cause this very package to not be included in the generated database. Assuming your packages lie in /home/arch/i686/current, your gensync call would look like this:
    gensync /var/abs /home/arch/i686/current/current.db.tar.gz /home/arch/i686/current
    If there are any discrepancies like
      - PKGBUILD, but no matching binary package found
      - PKGBUILD and binary package versions do not match
      - permission problems (writing the db file must be possible)
    gensync will gladly complain.
    Otherwise you should find the db file in the place you specified. Keep in mind that the name of the db.tar.gz file must be equal to the repository tag in the pacman.conf to use the repo.
    To make sure the db contains the right packages; use
    tar -tzf current.db.tar.gz | less
    to list the contents. Every package has it's own subdirectory including the metadata, which is rather obvious considering the file's generated from such a structure in the first place.
    The binary packages along with a correctly generated db file are all you need. Make the repository directory containing these files available through FTP if local availability doesn't cut it for you, edit your pacman.conf if needed, and use it!
    Adding packages works similar; All you need to have is the PKGBUILD in an ABS-like tree (it doesn't have to be the official tree; gensync doesn't care where the files come from. Just stick to one subdirectory per PKGBUILD, and you'll be fine), and the matching packages somewhere else, run gensync with the appropriate directories, and cackle with glee.
    HTH.

  • Warranty void stick

    Hi,
    I just purchased my creative zen touch a matter of hours ago. it has finished its first charge and i have gotten a few songs uploaded. However, i recently discovered that the warranty void sticker on the bottom of the device is now half covering the front and back sections. It is on the back cover only but there are symbols etched into it.
    The packaging was fine. it was sealed and brand new.
    Could someone shed some light on my confusion?
    Thanks

    Sounds like a question only Creative Support can answer, and there's no guarantee you'll get an answer from them here (as per the disclaimer at the top of the forum).

  • Problem with wlan sticks module, not able to write to disk any more

    Hello everybody,
    when I booted my PC today, a strange and some sort of severe problem occurred concerning my wlan stick(s) that I think, I'm not able to solve without your help. I searched for a solution but it didn't seem that somebody else has had a similar problem before.
    Here is the description:
    I have two wlan sticks (but I do not use both of them nor are they both plugged in at the same time), and both happen to malfunction since today. My "main" stick (used most of the time) is a BigTec Wireless 11N Adapter with a Realtek chipset. My second one (only used to solve problems with the other stick) is a Fritz! WLAN USB Stick (to be used with ndiswrapper).
    After bootup, which makes no problems at all, my "main" wlan stick is not able to connect to the network. When I run wicd-curses (I use wicd as network manager), the virtual terminal freezes (when I use urxvt under openbox to run wicd-curses, only the window freezes). After one minute, a message appears that says something about a dbus problem but I am not able to read it because of the screen clears. Then I'm able to use the terminal again, but (and this is the very, very strange about this) when I run any program that tries to write on my disk it stucks, so I can't cancel it with ctrl-c nor can I kill the process. Wicd-curses, ifconfig or iwconfig also crash after entering the command and show the same behavior. At this point, my wlan stick does not show any sign of being plugged in (normally it blinks...).
    My second stick makes the computer crash: After a few moments a stacktrace is shown (like when a kernel panic occurs), saying something about "stack being overrun". But I can't find the message in the log files so it is difficult to post it.
    When I tried to figure out a solution, I saw in pacman.log, that yesterday udev and hwdetect were updated... But also downgrading all the packages that were updated yesterday did not solve the problem!
    I'll post now the last lines of a few logs here (but nothing concerning the ndiswrapper stick, else it would be too disturbing), I hope they help you at helping me!

    P.S.: Excuse all the mistakes I made because of being new here, please!

    This seems to be a problem with r8712u on all 3.2.x and 3.3-rc kernels on all distros.  I've had it for weeks on Gentoo, Arch, and several other distros.
    If you are running a 3.2.x kernel, this is almost definitely the problem.  All 3.1 kernels don't do this.
    I posted a temporary work-around on the Arch bugzilla, and Larry Finger (kernel dev with wireless) is currently working on it (a patch).
    In the meantime, If you compile your own kernels, you can get 3.2.x's to work normally- see my comment here for more details.   https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/27996
    Top of page doesn't say r8712u, but it's the same problem, and after the first 2-3 comments it deals with r8712u specifically.
    There is also info on the Gentoo forum 3.2 kernel quirks thread, towards the bottom of Page 1:  http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-901702.html

  • Can't Get MacBook 2007 Model to accept two sticks of 1GB 667 Mhz DDR2 RAM.

    So I had this situation running on an older version of this MacBook, two sticks of 1GB. That computer broke so I want to do the same on this "newer" one. However when I put two 1GB ram inside it will not boot. Just the Disc Drive starts up and a black screen.
    The most frustrating part is when I insert one of the previous 256MB sticks in with a 1GB, it will turn on but will be really slow.
    I've tried everything I can think of. Different 1GB sticks. Putting them in different slots but I cannot seem to get it to run with 2GB.

    If you bought your RAM at a place that also sells PC RAM you may have gotten mislabelled RAM. PCs can handle different RAM speeds so they’ll often label higher speed RAM as a lower speed rather than make two different speeds of RAM. But Macs are much more picky. They require a RAM stick to be exactly 667mhz not 675mhz or 800mhz. The way to tell is to put one of your old RAM sticks in and it will force the new RAM to run at the correct speed.
    This is from one review of PNY RAM:
    "These modules are actually 800Mhz. PNY no longer makes or sells 667Mhz modules. Not all computers that require 667Mhz are compatible with 2 800Mhz modules. They refuse to down clock properly. This is especially true with a number of Core 2 Duo MacBooks. Spoke to PNY support, they flat out told me that yes, they sell 800Mhz modules in 667Mhz packaging. If you RMA a module that is 667Mhz (or supposed to be 667Mhz) they will replace it with an 800Mhz module as they no longer have any 667Mhz SODIMMs, not even for RMA replacement!"
    These are good online stores for Mac compatible RAM
    OWC http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/MacBook/DDR2/ - They offer Mac tested RAM at very good prices.
    Crucial Memory http://www.crucial.com/ - good place to buy RAM from all over the world. They also have an excellent memory selector that allows you to choose memory based on your computer's model
    Data Memory Systems http://www.datamemorysystems.com/apple-memory.asp - another good, cheap place to buying RAM if you live in the U.S.

  • Slow Mount for App-V Packages

    Hi,
    I'm having an issue I first noticed with App-V 5 sequence packages deployed via ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 that are taking forever to mount.
    To rule out ConfigMgr i've manually copied an app-v package (around 1GB) and ran the following powershell commands locally on a test client...
    Add-AppvClientPackage -Path "path to package" | Publish-AppvClientPackage -Global | Mount-AppvClientPackage -Verbose
    The mount command takes around 25-35+ minutes to complete, which is the behaviour i'm seeing when ConfigMgr deploys the package to a client.
    If i was to just run the MSI from the same sequenced App-V Package on a client system this would complete a number of minutes.
    Whats the difference between how and what the MSI installer does and why is the mount command taking so long?
    App-V version is 5.0 SP1.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    +1
    We similarly have 30 - 45 minute mount times particularly for the larger Autodesk products (using App-V Server infrastructure) compared to 2 - 3 minutes for exactly the same package sequenced in 4.6.
    I raised a ticket with Microsoft and initially figuring it must be something in the way we were sequencing in 5.0. They played with one or two of our packages and gave a few tips to tidy up the packages, told us there were general performance issues at that
    stage with 5.0 but essentially there was no answer. To us, a package taking 20 minutes to load against 30-45 does not real make a huge difference. It is not acceptable coming from what we had with 4.6.
    I was told that a Hotfix was due to be released immediately after SP2 that would deal with some of the "performance issues" but no sign yet.
    We have been rolling out Windows 8.1 across our regional offices and have taken to sticking a member of IT in all of the App-V Groups that are required for the local office and doing the Mount on the weekend as part of the install. We can't be rolling
    out Windows 8.1 and then having the guys come in on a Monday and telling them they can't use any Apps for 2 hours. I'd be laughed out of the office.

  • Support for Creating Web Service from pl/sql package in JDeveloper 11

    We have been creating all of our web services from pl/sql packages in our Oracle database using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1. I understand that this capability is not supported in Jdev 11. We have been mandated to either move up to JDeveloper 11, or consider switching to eclipse, or even VS2008 and run .NET services from IIS. I have seen work-around solutions using TopLink and Jdev 11. Are there plans to revive this feature in the near future? We're now looking at switching to .NET since we could scrap our OAS instances and use IIS to publish web services. The only reason we were sticking with Oracle was the ease in converting all our existing package to web services with Jdev.
    Is anyone else in the same situation. If so, what solutions are you considering?

    Hi,
    there are a lot of option to make plsql web services .
    First you can stay with jdev 10.1.3
    Use the xmldb servlets
    use jdev 11g tp4 to create plsql ws and upgrade to jdev 11g production
    And I think in the next release of jdev it will be back , there are more options which disappeared like the adf bc sdo ws or jmx datacontrol etc.
    thanks Edwin

  • Install on SDCard/USB stick, toggle read-only filesystem - possible?

    This is something I thought about while installing Arch on an SD card earlier. You know these small switches on some SD cards that make them read-only, right?
    Would it be possible to have a setup where Archlinux is installed on a rewritable storage device like an USB Stick or an SD card, where one mode of operation would be to use it like a regular, persisting Arch install (with writeable filesystem). The second mode would be to use it similar to a Live CD, not persisting any data on the storage device and using RAM instead (mounting the root filesystem as read-only).
    Basically, you could boot into regular mode (perhaps by choosing a seperate entry in GRUB), change configurations, update packages, etc. Then you reboot into read-only mode and use it as a Live CD with any changes to the filesystem stored only in RAM. This could be combined with system encryption to provide a secure and portable Arch installation that can be kept up-to date and simply by rebooting, you have a protected, volatile environment similar to a Live CD.
    Is something like that possible? Has it been done already?

    Comment on the "why" for Flash Device....quiet operation, less power required, faster performance and reduced size.
    Faster boot time is also possible with raid applied.
    As previously stated, running all in ram doesn't provide any performance improvement if the system has at least 2GB of ram.  Thus the use of swap is not required with that much ram.
    This principle also applies to Flash Devices which have algortithms controlling the writes across the entire card capacity such that larger capacity increases lifetime expectancy.
    Copy- on- write is also proposed for flash devices which reduces the process steps for writing to flash.
    In my experience with running-in-ram with CTKArch "live" system, I found not much to endorse using that mode.  A negative of good proportion is the copy-to-ram loading time , which cannot be avoided.
    Basically, faster ram is the best approach for performance enhancement in all systems.
    Thus, there are herein some reasons for using flash in an arch booting system whether "live" or conventional or raid based.
    My raid0 bootable system was outlined in previous post and am using it now.  It is not a USB connected bus arrangement which inherently limits performance.
    I find Compact Flash in UDMA or true IDE mode to provide good performance speed of 90mb/s read and 25mb/s write to be a fine alternative to hard drives.  In raid0 read speed is doubled.  Good reason for flash devices but not in usb mode.

  • When I create a stickie note, I can not save any font size other than the default.  How do I save a stickie with a larger or different font?

    How do I save a stickie note with a different font size other than the default?  When I create a note and save it using a larger font, it reopens with the default.

    Unlikely, I'm afraid.
    The LMS has no control over the playbar that pauses or plays the Captivate content.
    In a Multi SCORM package, the LMS also may be showing a TOC in the SCORM player with links to launch the lesson modules.  This TOC is in addition to the TOC inside the Captivate project file which gives access to sections of the module by jumping to slides that begin those sections.  But the LMS doesn't usually give you any control over the look and feel or functionality of that TOC either.
    If your client is adamant that they want complete control over these areas, then your best option may be NOT to build this course with Captivate but build it from the ground up with another tool.  E.g. Flash, or Dreamweaver.  Either way, that will add a lot more time and expense to the project.  But if the client has the budget and is unwilling to budge on their requirement, then that's what I would be telling them to do.

  • Zip and directory or package

    How on earth do I zip a package like an Omnigraffle file? I have a nice folder-action script that zips a file into an archive when it is dropped into the folder, but when I dropped an omnigraffle file into the folder it broke it into all the files that the original omnigraffle file consisted of, in other words it treats the file like a directory and breaks it open. I guess omnigraffle files are packages. If I use ditto it complains and tells me that the file is a directory. I cannot find any zip parameter that allows me to compress an omnigraffle file and keep it is a single compressed file. If I right-click and select compress on a file OS X has no problem and I get a single compressed file with the name and a .zip appended, but if I execute the zip application in terminal, or from my script, I get all the tiffs and jpegs and bits and bobs that the omnigraffle file is built with and the file it a goner.
    Most frustrating.
    Thanks for any help.
    Lawrence

    Well - that's done, works fine. The issue I was having was that I wanted files to be zipped into an archive without any path, so I would include the -j parameter. The -j parameter however would not only NOT store the path of the file, but it would also NOT store directory names.
    Okay - I thought. There is the -r parameter, this tells zip to travel the directory structure recursively thus picking up sub-directory content. However the -j conflicts with this and what I found was that zip would take the contents of any sub-directory and stick it at the same level as anything outside the folder.
    At first I thought this would be okay as I wanted this script to be used for ONLY files. However when I added an Omnigraffle file I was stuck as these are packages, and zip views them as directories. So any omnigraffle file would essentially be burst into its component parts, all rendered as files, at the root level of the archive folder. A total no-no.
    If I removed the -j, so that directories would be read and compressed, as well as the omnigraffle files, everything worked fine. Only now each file had a great long file path rooted at /System/user/me..... If I decompressed the zip archive I got a folder named "System" inside which was a folder named "user" and inside that was "me" and on and on until I finally got a folder with my unzipped files in it.
    Horrible.
    I realized that the key word in "man zip" was that the file path zip uses is relative to where the zip is running, and I was running it as a folder action which defaulted to the root, hence the vast great file path. So all I needed to do was to modify the script so that the zip command references just the file names without path, and then do a cd to the archive directory immediately prior to the zip command itself. Thus I implemented a "do shell script" which had two commands on the same line, separated by a semi-colon, the first command being the cd with the full path to the archive folder and the second being the zip without any paths at all and using just the -r parameter.
    Bingo.
    Thanks for everyone's help.

  • I've adopted the oss2jack and fusd-kor packages, but need help

    Some people are still using this software (and I'm eyeing it) and I felt I should do them a favor. Problem is, I'll need some help.
    For fusd-kor, the PKGBUILD looks like this:
    # Contributor: nut543 <[email protected]>
    # Contributor: Shadowhand <[email protected]>
    pkgname=fusd-kor
    pkgver=1.10.12
    _realver=konstruktiv.org_hack
    pkgrel=1
    pkgdesc="FUSD hack developed for the oss2jack project and 2.6.x > udev kernels."
    arch=(i686)
    url="http://hg.konstruktiv.org/fusd/"
    license=('GPL')
    depends=()
    makedepends=('mercurial')
    source=(fusd.install fusd.rules)
    md5sums=('982f0b5b6c7af5fe7f4b9e3134c5f1fb' 'dd880fac320283c9c134f8efa0b5bb84')
    install=fusd.install
    build() {
    cd $startdir/src
    msg "Connecting to mercurial server...."
    hg clone http://hg.konstruktiv.org/fusd
    cd fusd
    sed -i 's|local/||' Makefile
    sed -i 's|-O2 -g|-O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -march=i686|g' make.include
    sed -i 's|-Werror||g' make.include
    msg "Starting make..."
    make || return 1
    cp Makefile Makefile.save
    cp kfusd/Makefile kfusd/Makefile.save
    sed -i "s|/usr/|$startdir/pkg/usr/|g" Makefile
    sed -i "s|/lib/|$startdir/pkg/lib/|g" Makefile
    sed -i "s|\(/lib/modules/\$(shell uname -r)/misc\)|${startdir}/pkg\1|g" kfusd/Makefile
    mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/misc
    mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/usr/{lib,include}
    sed -i 's|/sbin/depmod -a||' Makefile
    make install || return 1
    # Restore original Makefiles
    rm {Makefile,kfusd/Makefile}
    cp Makefile.save Makefile
    cp kfusd/Makefile.save kfusd/Makefile
    cd $startdir/src
    install -D -m 644 fusd.rules $startdir/pkg/etc/udev/rules.d/30-fusd.rules
    msg "If you saw an error about not finding the kfusd.ko module, do the following:"
    msg "as root: cd /usr/src/linux-$(uname -r) && make"
    First off, it seems to me like sticking in optimizations as is done here is a bad idea.
    Second - there's still a version of fusd-kor available on the oss2jack homepage, shouldn't that be used? The homepage for the one above seems to be dead anyway, although it claims to be a later version.
    I might be asking further questions too, as I've never maintained a kernel module PKGBUILD before.
    Also, here's the install file:
    # This is a default template for a post-install scriptlet. You can
    # remove any functions you don't need (and this header).
    # arg 1: the new package version
    pre_install() {
    rm -f /etc/udev/permissions.d/fusd.permissions
    rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/??-fusd.rules
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    post_install() {
    depmod -ae
    sleep 1
    echo "Modprobe'ing kfusd"
    modprobe kfusd && echo sucess\! || echo failure to modprobe kfusd\, try to \-f\(force\) it
    echo 'add kfusd to your /etc/rc.conf MODULES array to have it load at startup.'
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    # arg 2: the old package version
    pre_upgrade() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    # arg 2: the old package version
    post_upgrade() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the old package version
    pre_remove() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the old package version
    post_remove() {
    rm -f /etc/udev/permissions.d/fusd.permissions
    rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/??-fusd.rules
    /bin/true
    op=$1
    shift
    $op $*
    Is there anything in there that should be modified?
    And now, oss2jack:
    # Contributor: nut543 <[email protected]>
    pkgname=oss2jack
    pkgver=0.25
    arch=('i686')
    pkgrel=7
    pkgdesc="Routes /dev/dsp to Jack enabling TeamSpeak and other OSS-only mmap apps to work."
    depends=(jack-audio-connection-kit libsamplerate fusd-kor)
    source=(http://fort.xdas.com/~kor/oss2jack/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz \
    oss2jack)
    url="http://fort.xdas.com/~kor/oss2jack/"
    license=('GPL')
    md5sums=(7fd10dd2391cbef147fa36563969e3e2\
    596661877446a02c7e9497178db60af7)
    install=oss2jack.install
    build() {
    mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/etc/rc.d
    install -g root -o root -m 755 $startdir/oss2jack $startdir/pkg/etc/rc.d/oss2jack
    cd $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver
    ./configure --with-fusd=/usr --prefix=/usr
    make || return 1
    make DESTDIR=$startdir/pkg install
    And the install file:
    # This is a default template for a post-install scriptlet. You can
    # remove any functions you don't need (and this header).
    # arg 1: the new package version
    pre_install() {
    echo 'see http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Allow_multiple_programs_to_play_sound_at_once#ALSA_with_oss2jack for help starting up oss2jack'
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    post_install() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    # arg 2: the old package version
    pre_upgrade() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the new package version
    # arg 2: the old package version
    post_upgrade() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the old package version
    pre_remove() {
    /bin/true
    # arg 1: the old package version
    post_remove() {
    /bin/true
    op=$1
    shift
    $op $*
    The PKGBUILD looks fine to me. Not so sure about the install file, it looks a little... redundant? But if you guys notice anything gravely wrong with these, please post it, okay?
    Edit: And sorry for the long post... wow.

  • Unable To Include Files In iOS Package

    Hi,
    I an using the latest release version of Flash Builder, trying to package an app for the iPad. I have an AIR application that I created to run on a desktop, and have modified it to run on the iPad. It works fine, however I cannot package the need resource files it uses, such as jpg, xml, swf, and flv files within the ipa file using Flash Builder. It seems that if I select more than 30-40 of these types of files to include, Flash Builder will not compile the ipa file without some sort of error, the most common one talks about:
    "Cannot run program "java.exe" (in directory "C\Users\lee\AppData\Local\Temp\AOT1308010984915"): CreateProcess error=206, The filename or extension is too long"
    Now I am guessing that Flash Builder is appending all of my selected files to a command line string or something somewhere, and so it can't handle that long of string on the command line. If I stick to less than 30 files, it works fine, but if I try and the 1000 or so files that I need to, it will not work.
    This app would never be in the app store, but rather on internal company iPads. The reason for so many files is the number of products the app covers, and the number of languages it supports. So yes the ipa file would be about 500Mb, but that should not be an issue, since an ipa file is basically a zipped archive. I think this is a bug though in Flash Builder; the program also becomes unresponsive when trying to access the include file list located in Project Properties -> ActionScript Build Packaging -> Apple iOS settings dialog. It make take several minutes before FB becomes responsive again when working with this number of files.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    thanks

    Hello,
    Since I first encountered this bug, I have always had my asset files in
    subfolders. See the attached screen shot. This is my project folder, and
    every subfolder is included except for the com folder, which for some
    reason FB copied into the bin directory on it's own.
    So I do not think this fixed. In this report, they are not using the same
    number of files as I am, so it is possible that this only works with a low
    number of files.
    thx

    Is RoboHelp for Word packaged with RoboHelp 11?

    No. The last version to include Rh for Word was Rh10. Is there a specific reason for wanting to stick with Rh for Word? There is a learning curve with Rh HTML but it shouldn't be too difficult.
