I just got the Photoshop Elements 10 that comes with three CDs However, I was able to install only the CD1 not the other two CDs I get an error INSTALLATION PACKAGE IS NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROCESSOR TYPE CONTACT YOUR VENDOR
I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA please help

If you only want Photoshop Elements you simply use disk 1.
The other disks are only needed if you intend to trial the video Editor (Premier Elements)

Cdrtools package, support for nls/utf8 character sets

Hello ppl,
I've been trying desperetly to burn a cd/dvd(k3b) with greek filenames and directory names. I ended up with file names like "???????????????????? (invalid unicode)"
After a lot of searching, i managed to isolate and solve the problem. There has been a patch(http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=52097) for cdrtools to support nls/utf8 character sets.
I guess that 90%+ of people using arch and burning cd's/dvd's, ignore the problem cause they just burn cd's/dvd's using standard english characters.
For all others here it is :

It's a modified pkgbuild of the official arch cdrtools package (http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcv … cvs-markup) patched to support nls/utf8 character sets.
Worked like a charm.
If u want to install it, u should uninstall the cdrtools package
pacman -Rd cdrtools
P.S.: I've issued this as a bug in http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/3830 but nobody seemed to care... :cry: :cry: :cry:

I have created a Oracle 8.1.7 database with UTF8 character set
on WINDOWS 2000.
Now , I want to store and retrieve information in other languages
say Japanese or Hindi .
I had set the NLS Language and NLS Terrritory to HINDI and INDIA
in the SQL*PLUS session but could not see the information.You cannot view Hindi using SQL*Plus. You need iSQL*Plus.
(Available as a download from OTN, and requiring the Oracle HTTP
server).
Then you need the fonts (either Mangal from Microsoft or
Code2000).
Have your NLS_LANG settings in your registry to
AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8. (I have not tried with HINDI etc, because
I need my solution to work with 806,817 and 901, and HINDI was
not available with 806).
Install the language pack for Devanagari/Indic languages
(c_iscii.dll) on Windows NT/2000/XP.
How can I use the Forms 6i to support this languages ?I am not sure about that.

If i have one business package and i want to implement it in a language which is not mentioned in the languages list given in the documentation for that business package.
Are there in anyn support packages of business packages for specific languages?

Javax.naming.event package supported in weblogic?

Hi,
Is JNDI event notification (i.e., javax.naming.event) supported in
weblogic's JNDI implementation?

I am 99% sure it isn't.
WLInitialContext and WLContext need to implement the EventContext interface
in order for it to work. In my case ( and I'm sure yours also ) I get a
ClassCastException when trying to cast a WLContext to an EventContext. This
says to me that no, the event package isn't supported.
I would appreciate confirmation from Weblogic on this though.

OEL5 minimum package support for DB

I've been able to install OEL5 and Database 11g without too many issues and have no problems obtaining any missing packages. My concern is more about any Oracle recommendations for a minimum software install footprint. The media seems to ship with a HUGE amount of stuff (many of which show up with the default install) that I think maybe shouldn't always be part of a "server" distribution, e.g. games, CD authoring, etc. Is there a template or kickstart file or some recommendation for a good "minimum" environment for production environments that leaves out some of the more obvious fluff?

Yes, it does. I'm coding a robot with Lego Dacta over an serial port with only standard user permission and it works great. So there should be no problem.
Just follow the installation instructions (where to place your files I mean) and it should work great.
I heard you could even place the files in you source-code dir, but I'm not sure how this works. Maybe you should check that out if you're not the system admin.

I have seen some issues with VPN device with ciscoworks. We have one of the old Bug for this as well # CSCsa35538.
I would suggest to check a couple of things mentioned below:
> Please check there are no specila characters '<,''>' in the configuration file.
> Non UTF-8 characters are NOT visable through the WEB-Interface and hence i would again recommend to change the Port Forwarding Name to something normal like " application test", if there is some special characters as well, from Base groups-->web vpn.
Then retry the configuration fetch.

Picture package in ps cs6

There is a pitfall using smart objects if you create templates and use replace content to to replace the embedded object to create a picture package for other images. For it to work well the replacement object need to be the same size as the original object. All the smart object layers in a picture package share a common single smart object. Each smart object layer has an associated transform which is not replaced or changed when you replace the embedded smart object content. If the replacement object size is not the same as the original image the associated transforms may produce something you not expecting....

If you are using windows and perpetual CS6 version not the subscription CS6 version you can install the CS5 optional Plug-in and get Picture Package working.    CS6 subscription version removed some Plug-in support that is used by the CS5 Pictture Package plug-in.    Mac users can not use Picture package in any version of CS6. The CS5 Mac picture package plug-in is a 32bit Plug-in and CS6 is 64bit only.
Window and Mac users can use Contact Sheet II however IMO its nothing like a Picture Package feature.    I have made available a Photo Collage Toolkit for Photoshop. In it there is a script PasteImageRoll that is more like a Picture Package function for a single tile size Picture Package then Contact Sheet II. I also modified my Batch collage script to populate a collage template using a single image file for all image location. So you can Populate a template of your design as a Picture Package.

Note: My batch script was written to populate collages its operation will be much slower then Photoshop old Picture Package plug-in. The script will save layered PSD files which can tweak before you print.   Paste Image Roll script requires no template and just creates a new document which it tiles your images into. It does not save or print it just creates a layer document which can tweak and print. You can also Flatten and save an image file.

Instant Client vs ODAC packages - missing ODBC

Does anyone know why, or something about, releated to the facts that the 'Instant Client' 11.1.x packages support ODBC and the ODAC package - Xcopy version, which is based on Instant Client, does NOT include ODBC?

Business packages use in EP7.

We are working with EP6 using:

We are interested in migrate from EP6 to EP7. Are these business packages supported in EP7 with the same backend system (R/3 backend 4.7)?

if you are using the BP for 4.7 you are probably using the BP v 5.04, which runs only on EP6. If you are migrating to EP7, you have to use either BP v6.02 or v1.0, none of which work with 4.7. You have two options:
1. upgrade the backend to mySAP ERP 2004 or 2005.
2. give the existing BP a try, maybe it will work (most probably it won't, since the iview technology has changed from ITS to WebDynpro)

Travel Management in ESS uses Travel module in SAP ECC 5.0/6.0.Is this what you are looking at .. ?
In this case travel should be configured in SAP ECC system and is made available in the portal as one module in ESS.

Is the add in "Picture Package" available for Photoshop CC?

In Photoshop CS 5, I had an add-in called "Picture Package" It was very handy to print multiple prints in various sizes. Is this available to use in Photoshop CC?

Was removed in cs6. However in CS6 pretetual version Windows the cs5 Plugin will work. Will not work in any scuscription version of Phoroshop.

The package includes four simple rules to follow when making Photo Collage Template PSD files so they will be compatible with my Photoshop scripts.
Size the photo collage templates for the print size you want - width, height and print DPI resolution.
Photo collage templates must have a Photoshop background layer. The contents of this layer can be anything.
Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Image 1", "Image 2", ... "Image n".
