Package won't work - how to make one myself?

After installing and upgrading Arch on my laptop, I wanted to add a battery monitoring application, kpoowersave (since I installed kdebase).
Noticed that it is not in pacman's repository. Installed yaourt and found it in AUR.
Unfortunately for me, both package in AUR isn't able to install on my laptop.
Looking around the wiki/faq and was not able to understand how I can go to source? and compile a version myself.
Understand that ABS shouldn't be the one as kpowersave isn't in pacman to start with.
Appreciate if someone to point me to the correct place.
I am trying to learn (note that I have no formal computer education so its going to be very challenging for me)

my earlier tries are with yaourt for kpowersave-svn 2951-1 and kpowersave-devel 0.7.3-1.
lots of things free by and finally an error message.
anyway, just manage to get kpowersave-devel 0.7.3-1 compiled when following the AUR User Guidelines Wiki.

downloaded the package from AUR into local and got it build there.

Thanks but that did not work. Details: when I don't have headphones plugged in, the volume won't go up or down and it also displays a circle with a line through it meaning it's not working. When I go to settings and look at my audio output, it only says headphones, even if no headphones are plugged in. I have tried inserting and removing headphones many times, also tried poking the inside of the headphone jack with a stripped Q-tip, and nothing works. Something inside the jack that senses headphones is not sensing the lack of headphones.

We mananged to resolve this exact issue on a machine recently that was running MS Office Home and Business 2010. However a copy of MS Office 2000 was also installed (for legacy reasons re Access 2000) and it was this causing the issue. We used Programs & Features to 'Change' the Office 2000 installation to 'Add/Remove' features and de-selected Outlook in here. This prompted a reboot and the issue was subsequently fixed.
Please note this did not remove the Outlook 2010 that was installed (and in use), but be careful to have a backup of your Outlook as your mileage may vary.

i will make the partions at a 250gb raid. one with 120gb for the bootsector, and the other for documents, etc.

O.K., i was looking the hole day to get that partions on a raid working.
to make the partions on each HD with the same volume, this is no problem. when you then create the first raid, works fine. but when you make the second raid, you get a massage, that this raid is not found.
then you see both raids at the disc utilty, but only at the first you seen the volumen down under, by the second not. the first works, the second is not avabiele.
so, now i have only one big mirrowed raid for my boot sector, and its runs fast, quick and without big noise... thats what i want, and the second big raid for my files.
2 raids at one mac pro with 4 hd. one with 2 x 250 gb hd for the bootsector, and the other with 2 x 500gb for files

"Director's Cut": How to Make one in Encore?

Hello good people, does anyone have a link to a reference on how to construct a "director's cut" (with director commentary overdubbed) so that it is a separate file on a DVD that can be read on computers, but also on ordinary DVD players?
Conceptually, it is like Netflix DVD that contains both a regular version and a "Director's Cut" of the same film.
Normally I would research this more thoroughly myself, but it does not seem readily available and I have so many things to do before submitting my film to the Big Sur International Short Film Festival on Monday at noon, that I thought I would ask if some kind soul here could provide me a link to how this is done.

You asked about Director's Cut, so my DC/Regular reply was about a Director's Cut + Regular on one disc
Muxed is shorthand for Multi-Plexed... where the sound & video are in one exported MPG file
You need to export MPG DVD from Premiere Pro, since Encore needs separate sound & video for authoring
A DVD-R (or DVD+R if the player will use that type) will, in fact, play in a computer drive or a set top player
What you may NOT have is anything that is specific to a computer, since that won't work in a set top player... that would be something like a computer text file, or an EXE or anything else that will ONLY work in a computer (I took the literal words you used, not what it appears you meant)

Double click the layer icon in the layers panel. Then hit the create mask button at the bottom of the panel (lower red circle). Then with the layer mask selected (upper red circle, notice the black outline shwoing you are working the mask, not the layer), use the gradient tool to make a gradient as shown in the icon preview. Then save for web as PNG24.

How to make one firefox window`s actions duplicate on all opened firefox windows. duplicating tabs only opens the original source of page, not current page view

I want to know is there a way to open, say 3, Firefox windows and duplicate the actions done on one to happen across all open Firefox windows. I want to use the repeat feature, left click followed by ENTER the whole time on a current thing I'm working on. The tabs won't work because I have to flip through them the whole time. I'm currently doing this on two computers at the same time but need an easier way. If I duplicate tabs, it only opens the original source of the page I duplicate and not the current page I'm viewing so its a time taking process to click on the links where I need to be then start doing the control+tab. Speed is a major issue so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to manually make one of the columns say for the deptno in my tabular form as on text item popup lov using apex_item package
and whenever user clicks on the text item popup lov, it should open up an dept table report and from which he/she needs to select
the deptno and this deptno should be returned into the text item popup lov column.
like for example: say if i have an emp table tabular form with all the columns and deptno column as an popup lov and when user clicks on this column
it should open up an new sql report(similar to popup lov window), the select statement for this would be

And from this popup lov report whenever an user selects a particular deptno, the same deptno should be returned to my text item popup column in emp tabular form.
