Hello,
I had this same problem on my E71.  To resolve this issue, log into your Nokia Messaging account on http://email.nokia.com and send yourself an install SMS via the "Install now" button.  After you send yourself a new SMS from http://email.nokia.com, you'll likely receive two SMSs, but disregard the one that has a download/install link in it since you've already installed Nokia Messaging.  You want to use the provisioning SMS that asks you for your Nokia Messaging password and access point.  Once you see that screen, you are good to go.

The client logging "Packet acknowledge failed" during reconnecting is expected if the broker hasn't completes the takeover - the client runtime will simply try reconnect again

  • 5230 Internet problem-Packet data

I have a packet data problem. I have looked in the settings, but I can't find the place where I can turn packet data on. My 5230 won't connect to the internet without it, and I am really frustrated! Help!

Hello, I was using 5230 with BSNL gprs. Net on mobile & PC were fine. I switched to Docomo, it was better. One day it was connected but not opening webpage. In status, I found Bytes receiving but not sending. I found everywhere about this but they know how to deal with BYTES NOT RECEIVING. I tried with new settings, new cable, but failed. After a month BYTES RECEIVING also stopped. When I installed a Bluetooth dongle and tried to connect directly(without using one touch access).... then BYTES SENT is ok, but BYTES RECEIVING paused. I tried different browsers also. After netwrk diagnosis.... DNSServer search order (FAILED). PLEASE HELP....!

  • Sales Orders Report - Requested Delivery date fails.

    Hello,
If a customer orders Item A Quantity 10 with a requested delivery date as 10.09.2008
In sales orders under Schedule line tab it will be displayed as below if schedule line fails
Delivery date Order Qty Rounded Qty Confirmed Qty
    10.09.2008     10     10     0
    20.09.2008     0     0     10
Customers get the goods not on his requested delivery date but some time later.
My requirement is I need to get the list of sales orders (like as we get the list of incomplete sales orders in V.02) where the requested delivery date fails and confirms next delivery date.
Is there any such standard report available???
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vamsi

    Hi
This is not available as a standard report. Consult your ABAPer to develop a Zreport. The system will compare the requested delivery date and the schedule line date and if the delivery date in the schedule line doesn't match with the requested delivery date, those schedule lines along with the details of the material, sales order number etc., will be displayed in the report. You have to give the ABAPer the details like..how the input screen should be, how the output screen should be and the proper logic for obtaining the required output.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Cannot access external data , Failed to get the document information.

    Hi All,
In my dashboard there are live office connections which has optional prompts defined in SAP BI. I have bound the cells to these prompts in live office object properties.
There are no errors while refreshing the LO connections from excel sheet.
But when i run that dashboard and give BLANK value for that prompt then it throws the error :
Cannot access external data , Failed to get the document information. (LO 26315).
    Reply highly appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    DJ

    Hi Hardik,
I am building a similar solution as yours connecting webi reports to Bex queries and reading the webi data through live office into the dashboards. I am using almost similar versions as yours - BW 7.1 SP5, BO 4.1 SP4, Dashboards and Live Office SP4 versions. I am facing issues setting up the live office connections itself. I create the Live office connections within an excel and when I try to import this excel spreadsheet into my dashboard designer, it runs forever and crashes.
Could you please list out the steps you performed to get the Dashboard to preview live office data? Do you have OLAP connections for BW cubes and created WebI reports using these connections or You created a Universe on top of the Bex Queries?
It would be great if you could share the steps performed.
With respect to your issue, check if the report engine service is running. Do you have any error message details apart from this error?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Rohini.

    For the benifit of others.
    The issue is resolved.
When we set the certificate password inside our application we were encrypting it inside our system.
When we sent it to tibco we did not decrypt it.
So the encrypted password was sent as it is that was the issue :(
    Thanks,

  • Packet data for Nokia C3-00

I have the suite and a network adaptor automatically created. Both of that can't access, the c3-00 respond "Subscribe to Packet data first".. But I already have the gprs settings from my network provider.. What should I do?. Please help me.

Can you browse with your phone? If yes, your problem is alrealdy solved. Nokia PC Suite (any version) wont work with S40 phones like C3. You have to download Nokia Ovi Suite for PC. You can google it and download it free. It's about 87.something MB. It works perfectly.

  • Problem with packet data with E5

Last night every thing was OK, I was able to connect to internet using my phone
but  today  I tried to connect  but I get this msg
"packet data: packet data not available .check network services"
I called the company  and they sent me the configuration and I saved it  but  nothing changed .....
    Any ideas ??

Straight Talk with AT&T USA (APN: tfdata) or T-Mobile US (APN: wap.tracfone)?
    Lauraboop wrote:
how this all this could happen just from taking out the battery.
Well, you had to take out the battery while it was running. Then, a lot of fancy things can happen like a file-system corruption or just a SIM re-detection. The latter could load new configurations. The former would require the Nokia Software Recovery Tool on a Windows computer. Anyway, that is very, very rare – let us hope this is fixable by just changing the settings.

  • N80 & Orange packet data

I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience as I've had, I was just playing with my Orange N80 and when I looked in the log file I found the data counter had registered all sent data as 3.05MB and all received data as 4.72MB and all I'd done was look on Orange world a few times and checked out the sport on BBC mobile - which I know is very economical on data, however when I first got the phone I was trying out the camera and didn't realise that my pictures were being uploaded to Orange until I turned off the album feature but there weren't many photo's anyway but at £1. or so a MB this could get very expensive! I called Orange who, whilst being very polite, couldn't help very much other than to advise me to check my next bill and reset the data counter and compare the following bill! Anyway, I've since turned off just about everything as Orange seem to set all connections to a default setting of always on and I now get prompted for any connection other than for calls and sms which has the added bonus of increased battery life - not much mind but still better. Now call me cynical if you will but how many people will run up huge data bills before they realise they need to change the default settings to off which, imho, should the case anyway. Since turning off the packet data, online album etc though, I experience less problems with the handset too!

Just mention my findings on this
I too myself have seen a high amount of data being classed as transmitted via orangeinternet even though I have my accesspoint set to my home network, set the connection to only when needed and also changed the softkey menu so now says camera instead of home.
I rang orange about this and advised I was not happy the phone stated I had transfered 3mb of data in less than 2 days of using the phone, and that I don't use their webpages and if checked previous bills they would know this. I have been told that so far no data is being shown as being used, and when get my bill it will be looked into then if I am charged for anything.
Incase you may not know if you dont have the internet package you will be charged £10 per mb from orange.
I think I have now found out what the problem is, if you connect the data cable to the pc it will go into offline mode and you can transfer whatever you want. The minute you unplug the cable you go back into online mode and the orangeinternet automatically connects and whatever you have transfered by cable gets added to the orangeinternet connection.
Hopefully when get bill I should be able to dispute any charges for this, especially as I've phoned them about it.

  • "Subscribe to Packet Data First" (Bit of feedback)

I recently bought a Nokia 6021, which offers Bluetooth connectivity and E-mail function (send and retrieve). I got some setup advice Forum members.
Bluetooth was easy to set up, and I now use the phone in the car with a handsfree unit, which clips on the sun visor.
    Very satisfactory.
E-mail was (much) more difficult to set up.
I kept getting an error: "Subscribe to Packet Data First".
It turned out that the fundamental problem lay in the fact that Vodafone Support had incorrectly given me the settings for a "Contract SIM card" when in fact I operate mine as a "Pay-As-You-Talk SIM card".
Specifically they got me to insert "Internet" as one of the Bearer Settings parameters - when it should actually be "pp.vodafone.co.uk". "pp" indicates PrePaid.
So watch that point, all you PAYT Users!
It wasn't a 6021 problem ... it was a question of identifying the right kind of SIM card.
Incidentally, when the 6021 retrieves e-mails, if the message is too big (I think above 100k), it fetches the message header, with sender's ID, etc., so that you can identify who has e-mailed you even if you can't read their message/file. Suits me perfectly.
Thanks for the advice I got from Forum members.
    Best regards - Charles

  • Packet acknowledge failed after failover

    Hello,
We're running MQ 3.5 SP1 EE and we are wondering how to deal with the following problem. We have a client that consists of 2 producers and 1 consumer. There is a single connection for the client. Each producer creates its own session with:createSession(TRANSACTED_SESSION,Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE) The consumer creates its session with:
createSession(TRANSACTED_SESSION,Session.DUPS_OK_ACKNOWLEDGE)                       We have the following reconnect settings:imqReconnectEnabled = true
    imqReconnectAttempts = 1
    imqAddressListIterations = -1
    imqReconnectInterval = 30000
imqAddressListBehavior = RANDOMSometimes when we kill one of our cluster servers, the client threads begin throwing exceptions as follows. From the send() method from one of the producers:
com.sun.messaging.jms.JMSException: [C4000]: Packet acknowledge failed. From the send() method of the other producer (a few seconds later):com.sun.messaging.jms.JMSException: [C4001]: Write packet failed. - cause: java.net.SocketException: Socket is closedFinally, an exception is caught by the consumer's exception listener:
JMSException caught: [C4002]: Read packet failed. - cause: java.net.SocketException: Socket is closedWhat is the best way to recover from this? We were thinking of closing the connection, reopening, and starting all sessions again. Is there anything smarter we can do?
    Kernel: 2.4.21-9.0.3.ELsmp
    Dist: RedHat ES 3.0
    Thanks,
    Aaron

I know this is a long shot, but what was the outcome of this? How did you fix this issue? I am facing the same issue with MQ 4.3 (flaky network, occasional failure to recover, even with infinite recovery configured).
Once the 'Packet acknowledge failed' error occurs (see below), the consumer recovery thread gets stuck in a loop of retrying, but never recovers, even though it says it has (it thinks it's connected, but no messages are ever delivered to it). Since the network is flaky, the consuming client is often disconnected, but usually recovers okay (thanks to using the imq reconnect attributes), but if the error below occurs, that client never reconnects to the broker:

Each time the failure occurs, we get an additional exception. Rebooting the MQ broker allows a new client to be created and the messages are delivered, but the existing (previously failed) clients, are still left trying to connect.
Sounds like we're using some stale connection perhaps? We're using Spring's DefaultMessageListenerContainer. Could it be that the container is caching an old connection and trying to re-use it rather than creating a new one? It's not clear to me (yet) whether the mq client hides the failure from Spring's DefaultMessageListenerContainer and so doesn't give the Spring class the chance to recover itself.
    Many thanks

  • N95 WLAN Browsing Costs and Packet Data

I have recently purchased an N95 and am accessing the Internet via my home Wireless Network provided by Virgin Media instead of using the standard Access Point provided by the Mobile Operator i.e. Orange Internet - by doing this, I assume I would incurr no charges from Orange when surfing the Internet as I am using my own Broadband connection?
A seperate question, but related, how does the Packet Data transfer work? My default Access Point for this is Orange Internet, is this a different thing to the WLAN Access Point i.e. my Home Network or is is related? Does the Packet Data work when I'm connected to the Internet or is it mainly for messaging etc? Should I change the default Access Point for this to my Home Network or leave it as it is i.e. Orange Internet?

    Hi sj219706
In answer to your first question, there are no further costs incurred using WLAN with your Virgin Media Broadband connection.
With regards your second question it depends a little upon how generous your GPRS = General Packet Radio Service data allowance with Orange is.
Can I use Nokia Maps application as an example? Unless disabled an active network connection is needed, this may either be through GPRS(Orange) or WLAN(Virgin Media). If you are within range of your WLAN this is your preferred access point.

You must first set up your phone configuration. Either by order setting (click here: https://nokiags.wdsglobal.com/standard?siteLanguageId=118 and follow the instruction) or use your default setting (already available on your phone)

What am i supposed to do? This happens in all the three cubes of the applicaion i Have. In all the three cubes, Index and data cache are set to 0.5 GB and the server RAM is 64GB.
The size of the file i am trying to import is not more than 0.5 GB.
    Regards,
    Ragav.

You need to check how much memory your application is consuming, if it is windows 32bit then that will need to be less than 2GB.
It sounds to me like it is asking for more than 2GB and cannot address anymore, the combination of the caches for all the databases in the application could be taking it close to the maximum and when the application asks for more memory it cannot get any from the OS.
    Cheers

  • Belle: No WLAN and Packet Data log.Filter options ...

In Nokia N8, with Symbian Anna, WLAN and Packet Data logging wasn't possible, even though there were options in the log filtering settings.
    See below:

After updating to Belle, log isn't still working, and both WLAN and Packet Data options were removed from filter options.

Will it be implemented in a further time?
    Best Regards

    Hi,
quick update on this one as we now have a FAQ online.
Q: How can I get a WLAN/Wifi and packet data filter with Nokia Belle?
A: There is no data filter included in Nokia Belle by default, but you can download specific apps from Nokia Store.
