Packing list printing problem......

Hello Experts,
We are having a new problem in Master Packing List, after the modified package has been loaded to SPD. For same material code, appearing against different WBS elements, the print-out contains separate line items but with same WBS no. (which is appearing first in the sequence).

Attachment list printing problem

I am using the Entourage mail program. How does one get the box that lists the file names of attachments to a message to print out as part of the message? I just want to have a printed copy of the list--not the contents of the attachments called out in the list.
For instance, I send out a message with a series of attachments listed in the box below the subject line, but when I print out the message I have sent, the attachments are available when the paper clip is clicked, but are not listed when a copy of the sent message is printed.

Picking List Printing Problem

Hi,
I have copied SD_PICK_SINGLE Layout and using standard RVADDN01 Program.
While Printing These Errors is coming :
Element HEADER_DATA window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
Element HEADER_TEXT window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
Element ITEM_TEXT window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
Element ITEM_PURCHASE_DATA window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
Element ITEM_LINE_BATCH window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
Element ITEM_LINE_CONFIGURATION_BATCH_HEADER window MAIN is not defined for form
Element ITEM_LINE_BATCH window MAIN is not defined for form YHPK-PICK_SINGLE    ....
I dont know why these errors are coming as i have copied the standard layout form.
I have made a new output type 'YHPK' in 'V2' Shipping...
In this output type i have selected two processing routines:
1     Print output RVADDN01     ENTRY     YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
2     Fax          RVADDN01     ENTRY     YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
While Debugging all the Elements are traveresed but the value is not populated.
As a result blank picking list only with heading is printed.
Please help me resolve this issue urgently....

ABAP List - Printing problem

Hi,
We have a Z format Z_65_1023 assigned to the LOCL printer. When the output is displayed using the SPOOL the format is fine. But when the output is sent to the printer, the SAPLPD window has the following message:
SAPLPD: job xxx sent to printer(raw): nnnn bytes finished.
And it prints a one line message of hexadecimal values.
Has anyone faced such a problem before? If yes, please reply.

Packing list and Pro forma invoice

Dear Experts,
Can i print a Pro Forma Invoice from the Sales Order (before delivery) ?
Can i print the Packing list without making handling units (the materials comes in Cartoons) ?

For both, yes.
To print order related proforma invoice, in t.code VF01 select the relevant order related proforma invoice document type and create the proforma invoice. Then you can print it.
In the same way you can print the packing list in VL02 or VL02N t.code. In VL02N, go to menu Outbound delivery ->Issue delivery output. Here select the output for packing list and print. Printing packing list without making handling unit really depends on the packing list print program.In the program if it is coded to look for handling units, then without handling unit you can't print. Otherwise, you can try.

Print Packing List from Delivery at Goods Issue

We are facing an issue with our packing list for a division we are going live with in three weeks. Our current business process for our plants already on SAP is to create the Packing List when the Delivery is created, with timing code "3" in the Packing List output condition, but to not print it until the "Check-in" button is clicked with the Shipment in VT02N based on an activity profile.
However, for the service shipments in this division going live August 1, we do not need to create a Shipment nor generate a Bill of Lading from VT02N. We will post goods issue from the Delivery itself, and we want the Packing List to print at the time of Post Goods Issue from the Delivery. We have an access sequence for these service Deliveries with Shipping Point/Distribution Channel/Delivery Type, so only Distribution Channel 02 Deliveries will have Goods Issue from the Delivery, but we are not sure how to get the Packing List to not print until Goods Issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to IMG>Logistics Execution>Shipping> Basic Shipping Functions>Output Determination> Maintain Output Determination for Outbound Deliveries.
Select the Procedure you are using and check the control data to find the Cond. Type you are executing at the moment of the Outbound Delivery.
Check the fifth column and see you have plenty of options, check them out helped by an ABAP team member; if there is nothing already there, just ask him/her to create a new routine with the validation you need and set it there.
This is the same that Joao is suggesting I just went a little bit more in details.

i have a doubt plz clear my doubt....
how to assing the output type in the print preview screen.??????
Explanation of my doubt :
step 1.
In VL02N , after entering the Outbound Delivery number,
step2.
by selecting the items.
step3.
in the menu extras -> delivery output-> item->
step4.
i have assinged the output type PLOO.(packing list)
My doubt is how to bring this message type in the front screen
of VLO2N for print preview...

this won't be visible in VL02N first screen, issue output to... You can check it the way you have mentioned, like selecting the items, going to extras output > packing list > and then see it. You can get it printed anyway.
You can view the same by going to T.code VL70.

Issue during printing Pack List

Hello,
I am getting the below error (in the Processing Log) when I am printing the Pack List from the Outbound Delivery.
"No handling units exist" Message no. VL490
I am using the standard output type PL00 and the standard program.
Can anyone tell what the issue is ASAP

I am not using HUM or packaging material but I still need a Pack list(PL00) for the item that is going out.
Isnt it standard to print a Pack List whether or not HUM is being used.
Do we have any other output type or a way to print pack List.

How to print export packing list from invoice transaction(VF03)

Dear all,
        In export process,i need to generate export packing list
       In my case my export invoice and packing list both are same the only difference is in paking list i dont have total coloumn
       so i plan to change invoice form to packing list,
      while issuing the output from vf03 it should ask whether invoice or paking list
       according to that i need print out
        How to achieve these,otherwise any other alternative solution is there?

Instead of this you copy the same form and change as per packing list and give the user another output type for Packing list.
and say that if u choose one u will get invoice and if he chooses the other he will get Packing list

Print Material text on Pick/Pack list??

HI Friends,
Is there any such thing existing for text specific to a material to print on shipping papers (Pick list/Pack list)
I have a request to print that the material xyz "must be packed in containers & must ship in quantities"
I can enter it in the customer master - but then it will print for every item. Appreciate your advise and expertise.

For any other material if there is any text exist under sales text it would also print on pack list, here the requirement is i have to restrict this text to only one material. pls advise.

I am using FUEP o/p type for Export Packing list for Billing . I Copied SAPscript SD_EXPORT_FUEP form and the print program for this is same RVADAUS1. Can we use the same print program for Smartform /SAPSLL/SF_GL_EPL?

Items are deleted from the Pick and Pack list.

Hallo,
one customer of mine has a problem with the pick and pack list.
First the pick and pack process is done according the the standard process. Everything is fine. Customer prints delivery note and also the invoice.
One day or two days later (it is no always the same) the items disappear from the pick and pack list. The ID of the list stays there but you cannot see any articel any more.
Version: 8.81 PL08
I would be very thankful for any comments.

Airport Extreme Printing Problem with HP Deskjet.

Hello ... I wonder if any helpful folks can assist me with my printing problem? I am using Tiger on a new Intel imac with a HP Deskjet 960C. This printer is listed as having the latest drivers included within Tiger and works perfectly when connected via USB so my problem I guess is not with the software....I have disconnected everything and plugged everything back together again. I also deleted the printer from the printer list within the Printer Setup Utility application.... The imac recognisies the printer and upon pressing the print button everything feels as though its just going to work. The blue barber shop scroll appears but the printer fails to kick into gear and I get the big red exclamation mark appearing in the status box .... I would really love to try and sort this annoying error ... Any ideas? Thanks. Book G4 Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations.
Take a look at one of these iFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility links, depending on which AirPort base station you have:
o 802.11g AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) or AirPort Express Base Station (AX)
o 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn)
If your printer isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.

Printing problems (printjob, 1.2.2, 1.3, WinNT and HP printers)

We are experiencing a landry list of problems with java 1.2.2 and 1.3 when trying to print reasonably simple reports. I am just curious if anyone has encounterd problems like these, or if anyone has had any luck working around them. We would really like to release our software to production but I need to make sure that printing works well on all of the environments our client might run on. Here are the problems:
* Reporting was originaly done with a proprietary tool that limits us to using java.awt.PrintJob (new code is using PrinterJob... which is working okay...)
* When I try to use jre1.3 on my NT4.0 machine with a very simple program that gets a PrintJob it doesn't open the Print dialog and simply returns null (although it does work on my WinME laptop, and I cant find any bug reports about PrintJob dialogs on this site)
* When I try to use jre1.2 (which was our original target) there are problems with some printers running with some drivers (in house they are all various network HP printers). The printers will take 3 minutes a page while the same printer with an different driver (non-PS or PCL) will print very quickly.
Well I need some advice, are other people releasing software that doesn't work with all the possible ways that people could have their printers configured? Is there any hope of me finding a workaround... Is someone perhaps maintaining a list of drivers that work well with java? Or is there some empirical way of deciding (perhaps drivers that are not PS or PCL?)... Any responce would be very helpful...

Without your printer model numbers, readers can only give you vague general directions.
System Preferences > Print&Fax > ...
... shows a list of all set-up printers.
If you are having serious problems, it makes sense to "Reset the Printing System" (which also removes all printer set-ups) and add back each printer. It only takes a few minutes.
