Pacman wont update itself
hi. I have not used or updated this system in months. I updated the mirror list, new keys, etc but when I try to update pacman I get:

I go to the "Help" tab and go to check for updates and try and update to 8.0.2 so I click the button and it starts for a second and then stops and does nothing else. Should I uninstall and then try and reinstall or what. If I do that will it take away the library and purchased songs once I get the iTunes reinstalled?
Its not your phone that needs updating - its iTunes on your PC that needs to be 11.1

I try to open iphoto and it comes up with You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto. I have downloaded photo manager and it's telling me to update but it wont update...
iPhoto is Apple's included program to manage your photo's and pictures.
It receives updates over time with Software updates and new machine or iLife purchases.
When iPhoto gets updated or a newer version is used, it may alter iPhoto support files, but newer iPhoto versions usually always compatible with older files which it then updates.
If you used a newer iPhoto on your iPhoto support files, then they got altered to the newer format, older iPhoto versions can't read the older format.
Somewhere along the line you somehow got a older version of iPhoto on your computer, you need to fine the newer version of iPhoto (not this photo manager, sounds like another program)
Or somewhere along the line you used a newer iPhoto version (like on another Mac) and it altered the iPhoto support files on your older version of iPhoto.
So the key here is to find the newest version of iPhoto and use that to access your iPhoto support files.
If you didn't access your iPhoto support files from another Mac, then you should have the newer iPhoto version on your computer.
Once you find it, and get it in the Dock, you should remove the older iPhoto version from your computer to prevent this from happening again.
Lastly, if the newer version of iPhoto is somehow gone off your computer, you should be able to get a copy off the latest OS X install disk or iLife using a free program called Pacifist.

Okay, when I plug my ipod nano into the USB port and my itunes pop up, the stage where my ipod would usually update itself is replaced with a popup window that says: Songs on "iPod Nano" cannot be updated because of all the playlists selected for updating no longer exist.
Yes, I have no playlists right now, for some reason in the past I deleted them all. But this problem has erased all the songs and things I have on my ipod and since it wont update my songs I cant seem to put them back in (this includes the burned ones and ones bought from the music store). I am experiencing, for the first time, a VERY similar issue; except I have MANY playlists, and, up until now, I have been able to selectively manage them on my iPod (2Gb iPod, 60Gb of music). Now, all of a sudden, I get the error that is quoted above, although I have already restored iPod twice, reinstalled iTunes once, as well as selected manual sync, and they all "crap-out" about 1/3 of the way thru the synch-job. Never before have I had any similar problems with my product. Please help.

As a Mac user I always like to wait after an update is released to read the feedback.

If so how do I disable this?No, it wont update automatically. You can either go to the computer, or update in Genral Settings (if so, over wifi because it gets expensive for a high data download over 3g).

I have already published it and have 5 blog entry on the web. As you can see i put the rss feed link in front of my web, but the feed just wont update. It will only show the first 3 blog entry. How can I fix it? To make the rss feed updated properly each time I add new blog entry??

However as this involves adding a tag to the feed you cannot do it in iWeb itself. You could do it this way:
Download your feed and open it in TextEdit in PLAIN TEXT MODE, not Rich Text which is often the default.
Add the tag as described in my page.
Re-upload the feed using an FTP program. Do not subsequently make any amendments in iWeb for two weeks.
Alternatively email Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com and ask them to move it (give them the URL of your Store page and both feed URLs) - there's no guarantee they will but they have done for some people. -
App store wont update or download my apps
after i just got my internet connected after about a week without it, the apps tore will not update my apps. i tryed updating one and it says this: "snap collage- frame, caption, crop, edit, save to album and share photo creations on instagram, facebook, twitter and postcard' cannot be downloaded. Please try again later. I kept trying it just wont update same with my other apps unless i try to update them at a different wifi connectiong although wifi works fine on my other apps now and i cant get into the apps that i tryed updating at all now. please help
This usually means that the Apple ID you used to connect to the itunes store is not the same one used when buying the apps. Purchases in the store are forever associated with the ID used to buy them. Could this be the issue? Go to Settings>icloud and verify which ID is currently being used.

When i try to update my apps from the app store some of the apps wont update and ask for an Apple ID that isn't mine. Whats the problem and how do i fix it? All im trying to do is update my apps and its asking for these random apple ID's.
The apps were purchased by another user with a different Apple ID. You will have to erase them and repurchase them using your Apple ID.

Recently my Apple ID was changed from chunkster92 to [email protected] Now my apps wont update because they are looking for my original Apple ID of chunkster92.
When I look at the info block on the apps they indicatre that they are linked to an Apple ID of chucnkster92. Apple wont let you have tan ID thats not an email address anymore. So when the apps are trying to update they are looking for my old account of chunkster92 and not the account name format as Apple wants now of [email protected]
When I look at the apps page in iTunes and selct "all" apps at the top of the page, it indicates at the bottom of the page available. When I try to update the apps the next screen says that there or no updates available. I'm signed into iTunes as [email protected] and not chunkster92 which is the account the apps are looking for.
Short of deleting all 230 apps (I know, I could reduce that number some) and reloading them, how do I change the apps to look for [email protected] or reestablish my old ID of chunkster92?

My iPad 1 apps wont update. It has the loading bar half across the apps but when I click on it it says 'app name' could not be downloaded at this time. I have tryed signing out and back into my Apple account and restarting my iPad but neither worked. The strange thing is the new apps I try to download work fine. This is very annoying as I can't use the apps. Please help!
I've seen periodic flakyness in the App Store (mainly on the device) ever since iOS 7 was released over a month ago. Could just be another one of those moments, especially with the new iPad Air releasing today with many users activating & downloading.

Reset your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If you continue to have issues, try downloading the apps to iTunes on your computer, then sync your iPhone using iTunes. -
