Pad air keeps pausing when I play netflix

My ipad air keeps pausing when I play netflix. I'm using AirPort Extreme and my internet is fine (28 MBps). Also netflix works fine on my Apple TV running on the same network. I have updated all of the firmware, software and apps on all of the devices including the router. Nothing seems to make it work. Anyone else having this issue or any solutions?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Yes connected via wireless to iMac. Purchased new router after TW determined it was router. Still having probs with wireless dropping though modem & router appear to be working. Have to restart imac every time to get wireless to pick up again.

Neither, you need to firmly push the headphone jack in all the way until the white plastic on the headset jack is flush with the body of the Nano.

Media Encoder Pauses When Premiere Plays - Can I stop this?

I apologize if this has been discussed before...
I'm using CC, but I believe this was an issue on CS6 too...
When I have a job encoding in Media Encoder, and I switch back to Premiere, the AME job 'pauses' every time the timeline in Premiere is playing.
Is there a way to stop this activity, so the Media Encoder does not pause?

After a bit more testing, I now see what the original post was saying. He's saying, that from within PP use File > Export > Media, set up the required parameters and then click the queue button. This launches AME, so it can run in the background whilst still using PP. However AME stops processing whilst PP is playing back a sequence. But why would you do that anyway? That's because (taking one of my sequences as an example);
(In the examples below, I have omitted setting up the relevant codec parameters etc.)
A) Using File > Export > Media and clicking on the Export button shows that it will take 25 mins to complete. It uses the GPU to speed things up. You cant do anything with PP during this time.
OR
B) Opening AME and adding the relevant sequence into AME and then starting the export, shows that it will take 58 mins to process. It does not use the GPU, so you can run PP at the same time (if your computer has the power.)
OR
C) Use File > Export > Media and click the queue button. This opens AME and starts the processing within AME so freeing up PP to do other things. This still takes 58 mins as it does not use the GPU. However if you start to play media in PP, then AME stops processing.
I think I now understand what the original post was saying. Its just that he never mentioned clicking the Queue button. Since you can do the same thing as C) but with B) you don't need to use C). Steps B or C both take the same time to process.

Quick question - is there any way to disable the function where AME pauses current encodes whenever I hit play in Premiere? I can manually unpause the encode WHILST Premiere is playing, and I've found absolutely no slow down when playing AND encoding, so it's just a major annoyance at the moment as I'm trying to work through an edit in Premiere and encode a whole bunch of spots in AME. From my experience at least the constant stop starting is unnecessary and burns valuable render time.

We're running the exact same two Macs one I can render with encoder while using PP, the other every time we use the space bar in PP it pauses/unpauses encoder - cuasing it to crash. This leads me to believe it's more software than hardware.

My itunes keeps freezing when I play one song;

I recently bought the album "Madvillainy" on the itunes store and whenever I play the song "Great Day" it freezes my entire computer at the 1:25 mark. If I'm quick I can shut down itunes fast enough to keep the whole computer from freezing up, but otherwise I can't even open the task manager to shut itunes down.
I am also now getting a message that reads "The itunes library folder cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-50). This is irritating to me.
Also why isn't there an e-mail address for support?

It's probably a corrupt file. Delete it and contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. Or log into the iTunes Music Store, go to your Purchase History, find the problem track, click the arrow to the left of the track listing, and use the reporting link there.

My iPod touch keeps freezing when I play music?

So yesterday I notcied my 2nd gen itouch that whenever I played a song and change it the next button would do that glowing it usually does when you switch but it stays like that for awhile and the song doesnt change my ipod just force quits out of much and goes straight to home. and when i click music again it takes awhile to load and also say if i fully listened to a song and it goes to the next song 5 seconds then just stop.
My warrenty is expired i guess, i got it in 2009 June and then got a new one cuz that broke in december 2009 then ANOTHER one in 2010 of june ahahah so shouldnt i get a new warrenty everytime i get a new ipod. But im scared to cuz my stuff never backs up on itunes -__- (thats why i am scared to restore it)
Btw I tend to swtich songs alot, i dont have water damage but i have dropped it on tiles in my house but i have a case.

There is probably something wrong with the cable that connects it with your computer. Try getting a new one?

Macbook Air keeps crashing when going to sleep

I have to assume with no other information that you are using a hackintosh, not an Apple computer, so we cannot assist you on these forums.

Ipod keeps pausing when in fm transmitter

When my ipod is in my car in an fm transmitter it randomly pauses playback. It is securely connected by the dock connector, and this problem never occurs when i'm using headphones. How can i fix it?

Is there any way that you can connect your iPod Touch to a player with a different dock. See if it pauses playback. If not then the fm transmitter's plug may be faulty.

Why does my project in iMovie keep freezing when I play it in big screen?

My iMovie project freezes when played in full screen. I have no other background programs running- I've made sure and my MacBook is only a couple of days old!

There may be an explanation for what you have run into.
On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running? Windows 8 or 8.1? And, are you exporting to MPEG2.mpg file and playing that back on Windows Media Player? If that is the case, please download and install the VLC player

and let us know if the export plays back video and audio on that player.
If this is the known Microsoft MPEG2 Windows Media Player issue, then explore Publish+Share/Computer/ opportunities other than MPEG or use the VLC player instead of Windows Media Player for the playback of the MPEG2.mpg exports.

Why does the shockwave player keep crashing when I play farmville 2 on both the facebook and zynga websites?

I play farmville 2 on both the zynga and facebook websites. My shockwave player keeps crashing and is a very slow to load the game. This happens on all of the browsers I have used. Google chrome works better than some, firefox, icedragon and IE all are very slow to load the game and this take a lot of enjoyment out of the actual game play. Please help figure this out. I even keep clearing the cache and history, this does not help out much either.

My downloads keep pausing when my display goes to sleep for a while! How do I stop this?

I use a MBP retina and my computer settings don't allow it go to sleep. Yet, everytime I download something I have to sit with it or else it stop when I go away for five minutes.

Out of curiousity, in your power settings do you have it so that just your hard disk is put to sleep if the computer is idle? I think I had a similar issue a while back on WIndows that was caused by that one setting. I don't use a mac so I am not sure if the same thing applies.
