Pad super sensitive to "clicking"

Question

There is no easy to describe it. Started two days ago:
1) You know the function where double-click allows you to cover a word/sentense/paragraph? Somehow just by moving my finger across the pad would frequently activate that function. I would be moving my cursor to click a button, and cursor would drag down the blue-cover as it moves.
2) Similar to above, I move my cursor about, and sometimes I'd open up the right-click menu.
3) When I apple-click to open a new tab in Safari, it opens up the same page THREE TIMES, thus created three identical tabs.
4) Moving my cusor over folders sometimes would open them up, as if I double-clicked them.
Again, this happened two days ago, after an incident where my computer froze and I had to shut down the computer by turning off its power. It happend twice in the same hour. After I restarted again, I properly shut down and see the problem fixes itself. It doesn;t.
I intend to check on the hardwarre once I understand it's not a system problem. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Take it back/return o Apple Store.
Maybe they will give you another new replacement.
