Page alignment changes

Hello,
I'm building my first website with Muse and things are going well but an issue arose regarding the alignment of pages.
I have a master page ("Main", with no master) with a menu widget placed horizontally that is linked to four parent pages, and a second master page ("Main - About Us", with "Main" as its master). Of the four parent pages, one of them ("About Us") has two child pages (the other three have no child pages).
The "About Us" parent page is based on the "Main - About Us" master page.
Out of the six pages, the "About Us" page is aligned differently than the rest when viewed in preview mode, or when viewed in a browser, or when viewed as published. In other words, when I click on the menu item to take me to the "About Us" page, the page appears but everything is aligned at a different position than when viewing all other pages, including the "About Us" child pages.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue will be appreciated!

I'll try...
The alignment looks like it has shifted to the right by a little bit; there is no vertical issues. To try and show you, I took a screen shot of the "Services" page with a notepad window positioned as a guide set at the edge of "About Us".
The third screen shot is when I've clicked on the "About Us" page. And because I havent moved the notepad window, you might be able to see that now there is a space between the guide and the edge of "About Us".

Can doc properties be in sync with a page size change?

I am using the manual.indt template with InDesign CS4, I made a page size change to the template and now the text boxes and everythng else are knocked out of alignment. I need the margins to be 'correct' in relation to the page size, just as they were with the original template. Is there a way to make a page size change and have all the elements within the template synchronize to the change?

Layout > Layout Adjustment...
If you enable this BEFORE you make a change, much of what you want will likely happen, but it is highly dependent on how frames are set on the page. If they touch guides, they move/change size with changes that affect the guides.

Multiple Language Capability and Page Alignment

I have an app with two languages. I need to know how to switch between the two languages (change the primary language). Also how to change the page alignment based on the selected language (RTL-LTR).

You can set where from primary language will be derived by setting globalization parameter "Application Language Derived From" and for example use FSP_LANGUGAGE_PREFERENCE application item.
RTL-LTR can be set with CSS properties, that can be rendered in some conditional region on page 0 which condition refers to FSP_LANGUGAGE_PREFERENCE app. item.

im having a problem in my page alignment IN program RLLI0400.i dont know the reason why the second page is being printed on the fourth line instead of printing it in the first line of the page.
i tried to change its line-count but nohing happens.any idea on how would i fix it?
sample:
page 1(started on the first line of the page)
page 2(it will start on the fourth line of the page which is wrong so on with the third page.)

Unable to locate page align set-up

Session Timeout Alert + login page has changed

Hello,
We recently updated our SAP CRM 7.0 from EHP1 to EHP3.
Since than we get this "Session Timeout Alert" error and it is very annoying.
I've changed the rdisp/plugin_auto_logout parameter to 7200 s but the session is still ending after about 10min.
On EHP1 we didn't had this problem.
Also it seems that the login page has changed because the username and password is not saved anymore and we need to introduce them every time we log in.
Please help to solve these problems.

You can do this using a meta refresh but the problem is you have to add it to the html file for the page very time you publish changes.
A better way is to create a splash page and upload it to the server outside of the folder produced by iWeb. Example HERE.
The meta refresh is added to the head section of the html file...

The delay time in seconds is marked in blue and the URL to the redirect page is in red.

How do I prevent Pages from changing earlier parts of a document when I am in an 8 page newsletter. Going back to check something and items are jumbled up!

How can I stop Pages from changing parts of a document when I am progressing through an 8 page newsletter. When I go back to check something some headings have moved and been put out of context. I can't lock the individual pages of the document to prevent this happening.

I think you are talking about not having a DVD drive?
To install the DVD version, either get an external USB DVD drive, they are cheap on eBAy or borrow another computer and drag the iWork Installer onto a USB Flash Drive and install from that.

How to submit a bug report for OSB? - restore fails if number of items per page is changed from the default of 30

In the OSB web gui, one of my users found that if the number of items per page is changed from the default of 30, the restore of the file will fail. He tested this using recent versions of Firefox and IE. We have verified this to also be the case using Chrome.
In a directory containing over 100,000 files, moving 30 at a time to find the one to be restored is a very frustrating user experience.
How do I file a bug report for this issue? Is there a workaround for this bug to enable my users to more easily find the file to restore without being restricted to the default of 30 items per page?

Yes there is a bug in the webtool in the current release. You can use the commandline obtool to do the restore, that is much faster and works fine.

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I just want to type a letter and add pictures and titles, and Pages keeps changing font sizes and doesn't let me "Do it my way". I HATE this!

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I'm using a blank document, so I figured I could write my letter and add pictures any way I wanted to. But NO! Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! I am getting SO FRUSTRATED! I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter! Can anyone help?

The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

Page setup changes for different users

We had recently experienced page formatting changes all of a sudden. These reports were not modified nor changed but all of a sudden when users run the reports or if a developer open it in design the page setup was changed from landscape to portrait. Also, for the same object if another developer open it, it is fine for that one person.
Is there a individual setting or local setting for page setup?

after you have changed the print setting in the .rpt itself and if you are still experiencing the same behaviour:
1) first, try to see if just the .rpt itself is changing...i.e. send the report with saved data to someone that is experiencing the issue that also has crystal reports installed. if it is still happening in the crystal reports designer itself, then it is an issue for this forum.
2) if it is only happening in the web application, then you will want to repost to the appropriate sdk forum.

How Can I get rid of Yahoo home page? Changing home page doesn't work.

A week or two ago, Yahoo started coming up as my home page. No matter how many times I change it back to Bing, every time I bring up Firefox, there is Yahoo as the home page. Changing it back to Bing and clicking ok is not working. I'm getting a little frustrated with this. How do I get rid of Yahoo coming up as my home page when I did not even ask for it?

Getting the "Page Has Changed" error.

I'm using InContext Editing and am getting this error:
Page Has Changed
The page you are trying to edit or duplicate could not be found on the server. You can check if the page was deleted or moved in the meantime.
The page does exist, I can view it in the browser and thru includes/ice/ide.html. I can Duplicate the page, and the page gets duplicated on the server, but I can't edit the duplicated page either.
My pages are pretty simple, but do have a few include files in them. So I deleted the includes, uploaded a straight .html file, and I still get the error.
In the "Configure Site" section, I can connect to my ftp site. I can browse the directories, etc., so I'm definitely connecting.
The weird thing is, I upload this exact same site to a test server (on Linux), configure a new site in the admin, edit the same files and it works perfectly. But once I upload these files to a Windows/IIS server, I get this error.
Any ideas?
