Page alignment problem

Hi,
I am using RSA 7 for development and having problems with page alignment.
html tags rendering first and then the jsf tags.can anyone help me to I solve this problem.

Yes please, I am using Dreamweaver CS5.5 but most of this code is copied from an earlier version of this page.. I am just redoing it which could be why there are issues with it.

Creating restaurant menu in pages - alignment problems

Hi,
I'm trying to create a draft takeaway menu in pages, but as you can see from the image I'm having problems aligning the prices correctly. The left-side of the text is fine, it's only after I put full stops in leading to the prices where I'm having problems. I want all the prices to be neat and tidy, not the way it is now i.e. some prices scattered to the left, and some scattered towards the right.
Here's what I've tried:
1. Align left
2. Aligh right
3. Align center
4. Align full
5. More full stops, (still can't get it perfect)
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I did a search through the forums, but the closest I found was something to do with iWeb, which I don't think applies to Page 09.

In Inspector > Text > Tabs > Tab Stops
Click on Leader Pop-up and choose ........... as the leader.

Web Page Alignment Problem

Hi.
I need some help. I created a webpage in CS3 Dreamweaver. The problem is that my pictures and flash content are misaligned when I access my webpage from another computer screen other than the one I used when I designed the web page. Seems like my webpage is not aligned "universally" for all computer screens. How can I fix my alignment to be constant on any screen anywhere in the world?

That's a tall order, given the range of devices people use these days (smartphones, tablets, desktop/laptops, multi-panel displays...). Decide who your target audience is and build your site accordingly.
For most desktop/laptop users, your page should fit in a 1000px wide viewport without horizontal scrollbars.

Page alignment problems in browser

Hi
Wondered if anyone could help with this ...
I have 8 pages on a web site ... after designing the first page, I effectively cloned the next seven so that size, format, position, etc. would be the same.
However, for some reason when I view them all in the browser the first 3 are at the same distance from the top edge of the window but the next 5 are (although same distance as each other) are at a lesser distance from the top edge than the first 3.
I have checked the spacing, positioning, margins, etc. in page property and the main container div box but can't see anything wrong, I also notice that if I try to alter the top spacing in the page property of the first 3 pages, they seem different in live view but there's no change when viewed in the browser ....I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light.

You would do much better if you created a template and re-created the pages. Whenever you try to do a home-brewed template by using a "save-as" or other machination, you always get this problem.
To create a template, take one of the pages that is acting the way you want, Go to File | Save as Template and you have your template file. Then take the sections that will change and make it an editable region. Create new "child" pages by File | New a dialog box should open giving your the opportunity to make a new page from a template.
Just copy and paste the content into the new pages.
That will solve any shifting issues.

Having a image alignment problem using clearbox

I'm having an image alignment problem. I cannot figure it out. I'm using the clearbox - lightbox dreamweaver widget. Using Dreamweaver CS6.

This has very little to do with Dreamweaver. DW is merely a tool to assist you in building a web site. It is purely a matter of styling (CSS).
When I look at the structure, I see
BODY-CONTENT (width: 490px)
     GALLERY (width: 452px)
          CONTAINER (width: 500px)
               ITEM (width: 150px)
From this I can deduce that:
GALLERY will fit inside BODY-CONTENT
CONTAINER will NOT fit inside GALLERY or BODY-CONTENT
ITEM will fit three times into CONTAINER
To start with, I would reduce the size of the CONTAINER so that it fits inside of its parent. Then I would adjust the width of the ITEM so that only two of them fit inside of the CONTAINER.

Banner Alignment Problem

I am having an alignment issue with a website that I recently built using dreamweaver.

There is not an alignment problem on the front page (index.html), but subsequent pages (http://bacs.myweb.uga.edu/currentstudents.html) change the alignment of the banners below the tabs for each section. Screen resolutions of 1280X800 do not have any alignment issues, but pretty much any other resolution changes the alignment. Is there a solution to this problem? Rather than posting all the code, you should be able to get it from the links above. Thanks in advance.

Paper Alignment problems!

I have a HP F4280 all in one printer, just recently when doing any type of printing, everything is printed but comes off alignment, that is not straight on the page. How can I fix this paper alignment problem? I've had this printer for 2 years now and just recently the alignment is off, I haven't done anything different!

Keynote 9 and objects alignment problems

Why keynote does not align object using the first one selected as stated in the user guide?
It will rather use the highest one for top, the lowest one for bottom and a ponderate value for all objects for middle.
Same problem for left center right.
If I do align top with an order like (1 being the 1st selected, 2 the 2nd and 3 the 3rd).

1                       I end up with                              Rather than 1     2          3
               3
If I do align top with
     3                                             2     3          1
2                      I end up with                               Rather than
               1                                                                                      2     3          1
Can this be changed somewhere?
This is just not logical at all. The first object should be the reference for the alignment.
There also is a problem with distribution, it uses the farthest left and the farthest right in Horizontal distribution rather
than first and last selected.
This is against the documentation.

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, these alignment guides are a powerful and great tool that I use all the time.
Nevertheless when it comes to aligning a big amount of shapes, I can't be bothered doing it one by one.
In the manual of Keynote 09' it is written page 89 and 90:
Quickly Aligning Objects Relative to One Another
You can use menu commands to quickly move objects on the same slide in alignment or space them equally apart. First, you must select all the objects you want to align (hold down the Shift or Command key as you click each object to select it).
To align selected objects:
m    To align the objects with each other, choose Arrange > Align Objects and then choose one of the alignment options in the submenu.
Left: Positions objects so that their left edges align vertically to the first object you select.
Center: Positions objects so that their centers align vertically to the first object you select.
Right: Positions objects so that their right edges align vertically to the first object you select.
Top: Positions objects so that their top edges align horizontally to the first object you select.
Middle: Moves objects vertically so that their centers align horizontally to the first object you select.
Bottom: Positions objects so that their bottom edges align horizontally to the first object you select.
There is a discrepency between the manual and what Keynote actually does.
I know there are lots of way to circumvent this alignment problem, I would just want to know if there is a place, in a config file, may be where this can be switch from topper to first one for example in case of an align top.
Any other tools such as Omnigrafle, Axure, Visio, Adobe suites, you name it, do it using the first selected object. I whish Keynote would act as expected.

IF Form region AND report + search tool in same page THEN = problem

Helllo everybody
I posted an initial and now the advanced as I received helpful comments but still is unsolved:
Problem:
If I have a Form, and a Report With a Search feature on the same page the problem is that when I click on the button of Search to find records in the Report, the page reloads as it goes and returs to the server. Alright, however, that reloading causes the Form to submit data while there is no data because I was not working with the Form. When the report gets the "submission of the Form" it receives all empty data and it complains as it cannot have Null values in its rows.
Solution:
The thing would be to tell the form not to submit anything unless expressley pressed the button Create or Save. It seems that these buttons activate when the page is reloaded I mean reloaded by haiving pressed the button Search of the Reports region.
The helpful comments were in the direction of going to Processes, Automatic Row Processing and then choosing a conditional for processing of the Form, that it, it would only activate (submit itself if that condition is met)
So I go to PL/SQL Function body Returning a boolean and I paste this: RETURN :REQUEST IN('SAVE','CREATE');
but the problem continues unsolved, that doesnt help. It must be very close but there is something I am missing

There is an option of embedding index for faster search while converting email to a PDF .
However I am not sure that will serve your purpose or not .
I would recommend you to get in touch with Microsoft support as well .
Meanwhile I'll work on it and get back to you in case I get a desired solution .

Page expire problem in one env of two environments having same code

Hi,
We have an web application deployed into two environments. The application versions and server versions are same in both environments. We are using sun one application server.
When we click on back button (Say Env1) we are getting page exipre problem. The same code is working fine in other env (Say Env2).
We have not coded anywhere to clear the client side information after it is displayed. It looks like there is some server setting using which we can specify not to save any information at client machine.
Can any one of you help me in resolving this issue.

I want to print cheques form oracle Reports 10g, I developed report in 6i & it works fine, Now I am going to convert it in 10g, in report developer it works fine but when it generates through reports server it generates on full pdf page.
Kindly help me how can I reduce the page size by default.

set the page margin at layout property and also make smaller the frame at Edit Margin mode.
