Page animations not happening from ID- Acrobat.

Hello,
I've got a 67-page InDesign document and there are about 20 pages therein that have animations. It's a custom animation I made where a chunk of text is simply enlarged 160%. I named the animation and used the same one for all these 20 pages. Anyway, I make a PDF from this InDesign file. I choose PDF Interactive, not Print. But, in the resulting PDF, those pages are simply displayed as is with no animation. I've told the animations to execute upon "page load."
Thanks,
Peter

InDesign animations are supported only if you exported as SWF. You can kind of use them in PDFs, if you export your animations as SWF, delete original animation and place that SWF instead. Then you will see your animation also in interactive PDF.
You may want to use new export selection feature when you export your animation as SWF.
Or then publish your file as SWF... you will get lot´s of other benefits too. And if InDesign´s native features are not enough for you, try eDocker for extending them.... (sample >>)

Pages will not open from iCloud since Maverick update

I have a similar problem.  I upgrated to Maverick a couple weeks ago and at that time I saw a very different appearance to my Pages documents, especially my book lists.  Numbers appeared at the left side of the pages.  All seemed well.  Now the last few times I've tried to open those documents, I get the message that "YOU NEED A NEWER VERSION OF PAGES TO OPEN THIS DOCUMENT.  YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF PAGES FROM THE MAC APP STORE".  I can't figure out how or why the version reverted back to the way it was.  That message doesn't always come though.  Some documents I can open but some I can't open at all.  If I click LEARN MORE, I am directed to the APP STORE where I can buy Pages 5.0.1 for $19.99!!!!!  What the heck is going on?????  Am I going to have to pay for pages where Maverick was FREE.

    Hi JohnD,
From your description, I suggest you could try those step:
1.Download you publishsetting file to get your website usename and password
2.Login on your website by FTP.
3.View the folder name 'wwwroot' and check your updated file.
If your file was uploaded, you could see and check the date time or file, the picture like this:
If the file was updated, I suggest you could clear your browser cache and try it.

  • Dial-In Conferencing page does not open from Lync 2013 client

    Hello Everyone,
I am facing this strange issue with my Lync Clients. All the users started experiencing the same behavior. So, I think this has something to do at the Server side.
Earlier, when trying to open the Dial-in conferencing settings from the Lync Client (Tools --> Dial-in conferencing settings), it would automatically open the Dial-In conferencing settings in a new web page. But, recently this is not happening. The strange
thing is I will be able to open the dial-in conferencing settings manually from a web browser by typing in the URL.
Has anyone experienced similar issues in the past? I would appreciate any ideas regarding this from your part so that I can try to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Try to rerun Step 2-Setup or Remove Lync Server Components and then test again.
Check if Lync Address Book update to the latest status.
Make sure all Lync 2013 client update to the version.

  • The Report Server page comes up on local server, but the page does not open from clients

    Hello,
The Report Server Page opens up just fine on the local server, but page does not open up from desktops and client PCs.   SSRS is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server and with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2
Clients are using IE 11 and they see:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to tumdv-fsql01
How can make this site accessible from clients?
    Thanks
    Paul

    That did not work.
What port numbers specifically does SSRS use?  I will check the firewall.

When I add the IP Address and try the link again, IE says "This page can not be displayed".  When I try the Fix connection problems, IE says:
"The website is online, but it is not responding to connection attempts."

  • IE9 Page Setup Not Pulling from LaserJet P1102 Preferences

I am running IE9 on Windows 7 Home Premium with a LaserJet P1102 printer attached.  Software and drivers are all current.  I also have an Epson SX218 and Adobe Distiller 8 installed as printers.
When the Epson printer is set as the default, any changes I make to the printing preferences of that printer appear in the IE9 Page Setup, including the paper size -- especially the paper size (we use A4 paper here, not Letter), and orientation.
The same is true for Adobe 8 PDF and Adobe 8 PDF Converter -- preferences pass right through to IE9 Page Setup when either are set as the default.
When the HP LaserJet P1102 is set as the default, IE9 defaults to "Letter" and "Portait".
I have tried every possible configuration -- removing all printers, reinstalling just one, reinstalling all, reinstalling in a different order, changing the defaults, changing the preferences, warm booting, cold booting, different computers, and even additional printers from Canon and Epson -- and the results are always the same.
There is something about the HP LaserJet P1102 drivers -- and possibly other drivers -- that is not updating the registry correctly for IE9 to read it and it is therefore falling back to some sort of defaults (which I can't find, either).
It is very annoying that even when I have the HP LaserJet P1102 set as the default and the printing preferences set to A4, I still have to go into IE9 Page Setup and change the paper size to A4 in order to get the output to print correctly.
As a note, I believe the same problem may exist with Word 2007 -- it only prints correctly to A4 when the Epson printer is either the destination or the default.  If the P1102 is the default and A4 is the preference AND I print to it from an A4 document to A4 paper, it is automatically shrunk down as if to be fitting on Letter-sized paper.  If I set the Epson as the default with A4 paper as the preference and then select the P1102 as the destination with A4 paper, everything prints fine.
I would leave the Epson as the default with A4 as the preferred paper -- which would solve the problem, only we use the Epson for printing on Letter-size labels sheets and don't want to have to constantly change the print settings.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can correct this problem with the HP driver so that printing preferences from the P1102 will properly populate page setup in IE9 (and possibly Word 2007)?

Tom, when you are printing are you setting the printing preferences to match what you are wanting the printer to do? This would be done through Devices and Printers by right clicking on the printer and changing the defaults through Printing Preferences.
Beyond this, if you have already set this up beforehand, the browser you are using might not be correctly interpreting the information and may be sending band data to your machine. I would recommend "uninstalling" IE9 which will replace it with IE8 which has better compatibility with devices and programs.
Let me know! And happy New Year!

  • Dequeue not happenning From Java after upgrading to 10G from 8i

    Hi,
After the application is upgraded to Oracle 10.1.0 the java/jms clients are not dequeuing the messages. Strange thing is they are running fine and doing nothing.
Also ernqueue happenned successfully from one of the java proc and they are not bieng dequeued and proceeded for the next queues.
    Anybody, any help.

    Check if...
    1. You are using Browse or Remove mode??
    2. After dequeue, Are the messages getting removed from the queue. If not....
    3. Have you by any chance set the retaintion time, that too, a long one.
    4. Can it be that the messages are getting dequeued successfully but you are not storing them [or printing them just to check] after you receive them.
Check.....coz I do not think there should be a problem if it is not giving any error message.
    Sanju.

Print range section - Lets you specify which pages of the current web page are printed:
    * Select '''All''' to print everything.
    * Select '''Pages''' and enter the range of pages you want to print. For example, selecting "from 1 to 1" prints the first page only.
    * Select '''Selection''' to print only the part the page you've highlighted.
    Does it work for you?

  • Animations not importing from ppt

I've successfully imported animated Powerpoint slides into
CP(3) in the past. But this time the animated slides appear blank,
only the slide background appears. The slides without animation
import as expected. I followed Adobe's advice and uninstalled and
reinstalled Flash Player, twice. Didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks in
advance. I'm a fairly new user

Thanks JL. I am aware of the radio button and tried several
times with the setting on "animation." No dice. I'm now thinking
that it may be some incompatibility between my version of
    Powerpoint (2000) and CP 3.

  • Create turnable page animation effect in Acrobat 9 for Reader 9 users

Is it possible to allow Adobe Reader users to turn pages of downloaded PDF documents by clicking on the corners of visible pages, as they can online on Acrobat.com, say? Can I create this effect using Acrobat 9 or do I need other software?

You cant create turnable page animation i'm afraid in Acrobat.
You can create page transitions which might be what you are after, but the page curl is limited to flash files
Document Processing – Page transitions or choose Page transitions from the pages panel
    Hope that helps?

  • Traceroute not happening to ACE from Oracle Server

    Hi,
Our ACE is configured in One-ARM Mode. I have Oracle Serverfarm been loadbalanced by ACE from where traceroute to ACE is not happening.
Oracle Server in VLAN 10 with Gateway configured at Core Switch: 10.10.10.21
VLAN 60: 10.10.60.21 in Core switch & ACE ip: 10.10.60.1
If from ACE i doa traceroute at one of the Oracle DB servers (10.10.10.5 & 10.10.10.6) it's going nicely. But sitting at Oracle DB servers if i do trace to ACE IP: 10.10.60.1 it gets dropped at Core switch: 10.10.10.21
This probem is not happening from any other Windows machines....
    Can someone highlight....
    Attached the ACE config...

some machine use icmp to do traceroute and others use udp.
Your oracle machine might be using udp and your core switch as a security acl to block this udp traffic.

From the JS API Reference of the print method:
Non-interactive printing can only be executed during batch, console, and menu
    events.
Outside of batch, console, and menu events, the values of bUI and of interactive are ignored
and a print dialog box will always be presented.
