Page back button is disabled after clicking to another web page, causing me to lose the original page.

When I click to follow a link from one of my home pages, the back button becomes disabled. This has the effect of "disappearing" the first page and "stranding" the link I traveled to.
The only work around is enter the site again. Subsequent clicks from the page don't cause it to disappear again.

I would suspect a slightly incompatible addon of causing that to happen.

If you expire a page then back button will not take it to the previous page.
expire is a HTTP-EQUIV meta tag in the header of the page. You can set the content to some time in the "past" when serving the page first time.

I might not have used the word "Normal". "Typical" maybe. I suppose "Normal" is acceptable in the context of "SNAFU".
Wait until you make an edit on one of your own posts to fix a stupid typo, then later look to find the typo back and you can no longer edit it. And what's up with that messed-up Javascript that shows up at the top of some quoted messages?
These forums are barely usable, but a bright spot is the color-managed photo attachment capability (i.e., you can upload an image with a non-sRGB color profile and the server will convert it). I suppose if anything Adobe could have been expected to get that part right.

Here is the workflow which you can follow to achieve this functionality.
Puspendra: You can choose image button and then choose from the available image buttons, or click on the folder icon when you select the image button and choose from the Gallery of Captivate 6.
Puspendra: Few image buttons change color on hover or onclicked, these effects are predefined in them.
Puspendra: Or you can edit that button on which you are working, from properties Panel.
Puspendra: The Post and Cancel button on this thread seems like a transparent button in Captivate with different fill and stroke color, and transparency is also less, and with corner radius of 0.

The back button is disabled even though I clearly visted the link through Google

When I search for something in Google, and find a particular link interesting, I view it. But when I want to go back to my search list, it seems like the back button is disabled and it won't allow me to go back. This is obviously painful, if I am searching for a variety of things. The back button works perfectly sometimes but others it just doesn't. Can anyone explain this odd behavior?

My pull down menu above the green "back" button disappeared recenly after I intalled an update. How to I get it back so I can print since right clicking does not give me a print option?

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

Command button remains disabled after a request redirect to a PDF Servlet

Hi All,
I've a command button to generate PDF on the fly and used to work in JDev 10.1.3.3.
When we migrated to 11g, it works for the first time on a page, and the file Open/Save dialog will come up.
But then the command button remains grayed out, and clicking doesn't generate a server call.
If I do something on the page which does a partial or full submit, then the button will get enabled again.
Any suggestions?

I wonder if it's a variation of this, of which I've seen many different symptoms...
Resolution
Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
Additional Information
This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
1. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
2. Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

Back button not working after navigation using method navigate_to_account

I have the following scenario.
1. From Account Search navigating to one Account (Page 1 to Page 2)
2. From Account there is a hyperlink with opens another page (Page 2 to Page 3). For this navigation I am using method cl_crm_uiu_bp_tools=>navigate_to_account
3. Page is opening successfully but when I am clicking on the BACK button for the first, nothing is happening. On the second click in the BACK button its navigating back to the Search page. (Page 3 to Page 1).
So the history is not triggering for Account page (Page 2)
Please help me with this issue.

The first top bar has a firefox logo at upper left corner and the words "Ask a Question/Mozilla Support-Mozilla Firefox" are on the logo's right side. The first top bar has minimize, overlap and close buttons at the upper right corner. When I click on the logo, a short menu drops from it, which has choices like "restore"..."close".
The second top bar has the word "Firefox" at the upper left corner with a downward arrow beside it. They look like white letters contrast to the orange background of a huge button. When I click on it, a double paned menu shows up. It has many choices such as new tab, new private window...bookmarks, history, download...exit. The second top bar also has minimize, overlap and close buttons at the upper right corner, too. There are 7 word titles "file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools and help" below that huge orange button at the upper left corner. The logos and the address bar are below the 7 words.
I don't need 2 top bars. They occupy too much screen property.

Commit Button Still Disabled After Table Edit

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.
I have a table on my page that is clickToEdit.
I have CreateInsert and Delete buttons.
I have Commit and Rollback buttons that are initially disabled.
When I edit the value of an existing field and press Enter, the Commit and Rollbak buttons remain disabled.
If I add a new record to the table, the Commit and Rollback buttons are enabled (as expected).
I know I can add a partial trigger to the button with the id of the table, but the final application will have many tables.
I don't want to add each table id to the partial trigger of the buttons.
How can I set it up so the Commit and Rollback buttons are enabled after a table modification?

Thanks for the info, but it looks like this thread has the same problem.
The thread states "Do not forget to include the 'Commit' button as a PPR target in order the button to be refreshed."
I assume this means I need to add the control's id to the commit button's Partial Triggers. This results in the same problem as stated originally.

Back button dosnt work after a router redirect

hi, i use British Telecom (BT) wifi hotspots frequently. this service will alow anyone to connect to a BT hotspot router and will redirect any request to a log in page provided by the router. once you log in you can use the service for an amount of time and then the router will again redirect you to a log in page.
whenever im redirected to said log in page (provided by the router) the back button in firefox forgets all the history relevant to the tab that was redirected.
for example i'm on www.google.com and i enter a search and the router redirects me to the BTwifi login page. now the back button for that tab is greyed out.

Create an on submit computation, in that have a static assignment to hidden item, the button would be visible/enabled while the hidden item has a value of YES, when the computation fires, it will set the hidden item value to NO, thus the button is disabled/hidden..
