I am getting reports that there are white boxes around the
images. I've forced it to detect Flash Player 10 which only
displays the HTML alternates. Can I get some feedback on this
possible issue?

Any chance you could put a Sound Off control on that page?
I do not see white boxes in IE6/7, FF2x, Safari2x, even
Konqueror. I did
not check in earlier versions of any - that must be where the
problem

Precompile and page-check-seconds elements not working in 9.2

Hi,
          I am coming across a very wierd error, and was wondering if anyone could help. We have a plain struts webapp deployed on weblogic 9.2.2, and i am trying to improve performance by adding the <precompile> and <page-check-seconds> tags to the weblogic.xml. Here is the relevant section:
          <jsp-descriptor>
          <debug>true</debug>
          <precompile>true</precompile>
          <page-check-seconds>-1</page-check-seconds>
          </jsp-descriptor>
          However, when the server starts up, I get the following error saying the precompile and page-check-seconds are not allowed:
          D:\bea92\user_projects\domains\ejDomain\applications\ej\WEB-INF\weblogic.xml:45:10:45:10: problem: cvc-complex-type.2.4b: Element not allowed: precompile@http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90 in element jsp-descriptor@http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90:<D:\bea92\user_projects\domains\ejDomain\applications\ej/WEB-INF/weblogic.xml:45:10>

Hello.
You probably know the idea of PROTECT command. It makes that a paragraph wont break in two. If it fit's totaly in one page it will print in that page. If not, it will print totaly in the second page (won't break at the middle).
The checkbox you are asking, makes the same with two paragraphs. This means that if you have paragraphs A and B (A becomes first) and if paragraph A has that option, the next paragraph won't break, and appear in the second page. If paragraph A is in first page, paragraph B will print in first page too, or they will both print in second page.
Try it.

when i open an browser http://localhost:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp
i get an error stating that :: An error occured while processing this page. check
the log for details
i am not aware where to look the log files.
second issue. on anothor desktop i am able to login but when i create an sample application it moves forward until finish and takes lot of time and gives me an same error as above .
please help me out ASAP iam tired uninstalling and reinstalling the products.

If you are running planning as a service could you stop the service, then run planning server from the start menu.
If you try and log in again it should produce some error messages.

Page Check Seconds

          HI,
          Page Check Seconds parameter of webapplicatoin is 1 sec by default, i changed
          it to 108000 sec which is half an hour i.e 60*60*30, even then if i change a
          JSP before this time the change is getting reflected no matter how much the
          value of page check seconds is.
          any Advice Pls?

I cannot print single checks with my brand new HP Laserjet 500. Full page checks OK.

Win 7, Quicken 2012R5, HP Color Laserjet 500. I can print full page of check fine. A single check prints by starting at the middle of the check, not at the end. Checks are inserted end-wise into the manual feed drop down. Quicken says it is an HP Printer problem. The Quicken "adjust" method only allows for movement of the printing by a few hundredths of an inch. I need to move the print several inches. Appreciate any help you can offer. I tried HP support and was told to telephone, then got stuck forever on the que.......

The product you have is a commercial printer. I suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a solution.

Acrobat Pro 9 PDF Printer Hangs when printing Test Page (Checking Fonts)

I have upgraded to CS5 and acrobat pro 9....
When I print a test page from the PDF printer it starts fine but then hangs when checking fonts?!?!
I have removed the software and reinstalled twice now and the same occurs...
Any advice anyone?

I tracked down a few corrupt fonts and now things seem much better but not quite perfect yet....
Distiller now opens fine but when I ran the test page from the PDF printer I got the follwoing error in the log file:

Web Part Page check in problem

I created a simple web part page that contains a web page viewer web part. I filled out all available fields during creation. It was stored in the default Shared Documents folder. I can link to the web part page with no problems. However, others can't because it is check out to me. When I try to check it in, I get the "You must fill out all required properties before checking in this document" error. When I click "Edit Properties", everything is filled out. I noticed that if I click "View Properties", a "Title" field is visible. How can I fill this out??? It wasn't available during creation and I have no idea how to fill it out because it doesn't show up after clicking "Edit Properties. This seems really buggy.

I currently have this problem running wss3.0 in a portal I have created. Two existing document libraries contain web part pages which do not require check in/check out. However in the last day or two, every new page created is automatically checked out to myself, but I cannot check the item back in. I have the following show up:
"You must fill out all required properties before checking in this document."
I have followed the procedures above to add the web part as an extra content type to the list, and hiding the title column so its not needed, but i still receive this error message. It only seems to be happening on this particular portal, and not others. The fact exisitng pages in the document library do not require items to be checked out makes it very frustrating trying to resolve. Ive searched TechNet but cant find any more details. I've even tried to force check in using Sharepoint Designer but this also does not work.
Does anyone have any ideas? Every new document library i create contains checked out items for this portal now, so others cannot view.

No warning show up when edit a page checked out by other

We are using SharePoint 2013 standard on-premise. Users are testing with IE9.
When a page is checked out by userA, userB click on the page -> edit page. UserB see no change on the page. No warning at all.
After userA or someone with permission discard the checkout, userB can edit page now.
I have tried using default oslo template and still the same. Is it a bug for IE9 or I missed something is configuration?

Because clicking "edit page" do not turn into site editing mode, I cannot test adding web part.
But when I click "Show Ribbon" and then "Edit page", I get "This page has been checked out by another user." modal box prompt. Is it also default behaviour? Should it mention "This page has been checked out by test\userA"?

For some strange reason I can't access browsercam tonight so
I would
like to know if it looks fine on the Mac/safari -
Mac/firefox?
The page is a little heavy on the image side so I wonder if
it loads
fast enough?
What do you think of the colors etc? (Too brown/blue)

before it
goes live ;)

I've created an HTML newsletter for a client. They use
Campaign Monitor to
send out all their mailings. After I completed it, she used
this tool in CM
to see what it would look like in various mail packages. It
looked fine in
all of them. She then sent a test to herself and someone else
in the
office. The use Outlook 2007. When it arrived in their
inboxes, it looked
all funky.
Anyone have an idea why this would happen? Also, any chance
someone with
Outlook 2007 could email the page to himself of herself to
see if it happens
to them?
