Page does not "focus" on open Panel in Accordion

Hello Everyone,
This is my first attempt at using AJAX/Spry so "be gentle".
I've built a rather long accordion to hold a large list of links.
If you click on the panel tabs at the lower part of the accordion, the panels open, however the page "moves up" to to display the first panel tab (which is closed), forcing the user to then scroll down to find the open panel.
Is this normal.

If you scroll to the bottom of the accordion, and click on "Projectors" (last tab) the page magically moves its self up so that "Education Related" (first tab) appears at the top of the screen. In doing so, the screen can not display "Projectors" tab (which is now open) forcing the user to scroll down to find it.
It's almost as if the "Projectors" (last tab) needs to push the tabs above it up so that the panel can display but instead of pushing the other panels up it simply opens and the some how takes you to the top of the accordion.

AHHH HA!!! I think I've narrowed it down. I tested the page in Safari 5.0.3 and FF 5.0 and it works just fine (other than an ungly blue border appearing in Safari, get to that later)
But in IE8,8comp,and 7 I get the bug. Stupid 'ol IE! rrrrrr
So any ideas out there?

Since Mavericks I am experiencing problems most probably related to iCloud:
the iCloud preference pane takes minutes to open; mail tasks hang on iCloud mail account ; Pages hangs before displaying list of icloud files.
I have managed to stop the problems by disabling the iCloud keychain - so it may well be related to that.
Any similar experiences or even solutions ?

2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Turn those off and relaunch Safari to test .
     Turn those on one by one and test.
3. Safari > Preferences > Search > Search Engine :
    Select your preferred   search engine.

The Report Server page comes up on local server, but the page does not open from clients

Hello,
The Report Server Page opens up just fine on the local server, but page does not open up from desktops and client PCs. SSRS is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server and with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2
Clients are using IE 11 and they see:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to tumdv-fsql01
How can make this site accessible from clients?

What port numbers specifically does SSRS use? I will check the firewall.

When I add the IP Address and try the link again, IE says "This page can not be displayed". When I try the Fix connection problems, IE says:
"The website is online, but it is not responding to connection attempts."

Hi jcatx2013, we don't really have enough information on your system to make specific suggestions...
Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

Tools > Options > Tabs - is the last preference there check-marked??

I have tried a several times to repairing permissions, restarting the mac, relaunched Finder, but no difference.
I copied the download folder to the dock...there I can open the files, but not deleting them or copying them.
When I open finder, then I click on the folder Download, after a while of thinking, it throws me out and back to the desktop.
already tried to sign in with the guest user account, then I am able to open the download folder.(but not seeing my files)
When I am trying to change the download folder in Safari, it also throws me out and gives me a error report ,for sending to Apple.
I think it's a settings fault or i think my download folder is locked. Almost desperat, already called support center,
They couldn't help, for free, due the 90 days free online help i have reached. If I want to solve this problem, they could try it , but it cost me almost 50 euros.
hope there is someone, who's knowing this problem.
By the way, I think it also could be that I dragged some downloaded music to the desktop, and dragged some folder that has the settings. Now its changed???
Or I was downloading something, and deleted the files in the download folder while it was unpacking and reparing the files.
It's not easy for a beginner Mac user (3 months) to already solve this problems.

I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open. I would select it again but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google on most visited list.

After updating AVG anti-virus, I encountered a problem on Firefox. I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open after clicking on it. I would select it again, even double click, but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google or yahoo from my dropdown on the most visited list and then click the website that I want to visit. I would like to do this in one step by just selecting a link from my history on the address bar and select a link instead of going to google and then writing the page I want to visit. This problem has been reported a few times. The solution is to install any new App say a free one. This seems to fix whatever has gone wrong.

You tube page does not open?

My you tube page does not open in Safari!!
Earkier it was working.
I did remove some obsende program which popped up, but then you tube page itself has vanished!!
Some red arrow icon comes in https page.
No action.

    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

Shutterfly order page does not open

In PSE 11 in organizer I select a photo and hit order prints....then hit order shutterfly prints (I have acct) It shows preparing files but the Shutterfly order page does not open....just goes back to the selected photo.

Upon clicking Firefox icon-Firefox page does not open

Pages does not open anymore after the latest update

I did all suggested problem solving steps, but after the last update Pages does not open anymore.
It opens a window and immediately crashes again.
I paid for it, and I used it for my business - and I'm so angry, that there is no support for apps in fact...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).

NO - not correct. Even if you are still using iWeb 08, you can still publish to another host and not MobileMe. You do this by selecting the option 'Publish to a local folder" and this will publish the site to your desktop and you can then use an ftp programme such as Cyberduck to upload your site to your host.
MobileMe will not be here after the end of June, so you will have to find alternative hosting. They are not taking any new subscriptions.
On new Macs, iLife 11 is pre-installed, but only iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand are included, not iWeb and iDVD. The Apple Online store is not selling the boxed version of iLife 11 any longer, so if you want to upgrade to iLife, then you'll have to look online at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk for a boxed set of either iLife 09 or iLife 11. Both contains iWeb 09, which is what you would want.
